La atención al cliente es muuy buena! Alondra y Nahu son super amables y serviciables. Ellos se ocupan de que tu estancia sea de lo mas comoda posible. Cuidan mucho todos los detalles. Lo recomiendo ampliamente!

Tal vez un desayuno un poco mas variado y agregar jugo al servicio, pero no estuvo mal, solo creo que puede ser un aspecto a mejorar.

Très bel hotel! C'est très calme et à moins de 10 minutes à pied de la plage, cela permet donc d'échapper au côté bruyant de la ville sans être trop isolé. Chambre très propre avec tout ce dont nous avions besoin. Piscine et aire ouverte vraiment super! Personnel très gentil et serviable. Je recommande pour un séjour à Sayulita.

Le déjeuner est bien, mais il pourrait être mieux. Il n'y a qu'une option. Je pense qu'en mettant 2 options, cela rendrait l'expérience encore meilleure puisque ce serait moins redondant, surtout pour ceux qui y déjeuneront plusieurs matins. Il pourrait y avoir un peu plus d'éclairage dans la salle de bain. Ce sont deux suggestions afin de rendre l'expérience absolument parfaite, mais il s'agit déjà d'un super hotel!

The property was beautiful and quiet conveniently located away from the town and the noisy night life of Sayulita. Easy access to town, just a few minute walk or use one of their golf carts.

We loved our stay, it is truly a boutique style hotel.

The service from the Front Desk is wonderful! Specially Amaury is super nice and customer-oriented. Breakfast is wonderful and super tasty.

The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, and the owners went above and beyond to make our stay special. The pool area was peaceful with a nice breeze, and the breakfast and poolside food were delicious. It’s a great location, just a short walk into town with easy access to taxis.

Everything was superb. From the beautiful and peaceful hotel grounds to the service. The whole staff, from ama, yose, dani and javi to the rest of the kitchen and cleaning staff are the most polite and helpful staff that I have ever come across. I made new friends forever, I cannot wait to come back to this place again, I one hundred percent recommend this place.

We stayed at Avela after we weren't allowed to leave Sayulita for a few days after the Cartel incident in Feb 2026. We were rather shaken and concerned with safety and Ama, Davide and Daniel were absolutely brilliant. When I called and explained our situation they suggested I come and take a look at the hotel to make sure I felt comfortable before booking and were so kind. The place was immaculate, the rooms are a great size and our included breakfast was wonderful and not just a continental which is so often the case. The location is about a ten/fifteen mins walk from the centre or an 80 pesos taxi ride and for us we preferred the quiet at night, the main centre can get quite loud quite late. The pool was gorgeous and the perfect temperature to cool off. All in all a wonderful hotel with fabulous staff, I will definitely be returning.

We would have preferred their to be locked gates for the property that could be accessed by key code or your key card as there are no staff members on site after 10pm so this would have felt more secure and easily to implement.

Very nice Boutique Hotel. Only about 10 Rooms, so the Pool/Breakfast area never feels crowded. Everybody working there is incredibly nice and very helpful. Super easy 5-8min walk to "downtown"/beach. But far enough away to enjoy quiet night hours. Would stay there again in a heartbeat.

Breakfasts were great and we enjoyed staying there each morning, staff was very attentive and friendly. Bottled water, beach towels, and beach umbrella available in office was very convenient. Facilities were as pictured. Appreciated the assistance with arranging transportation and golf cart rental and finding restaurant that would cook our fish that we caught for dinner.

The smell of the cleaning chemicals in the rooms was overbearing. Fridge in room didn't have a rail on door so nothing would stay on that shelf and was quite small for storing snacks and drinks.

The staff was so nice! And the pool and hot tub were incredible. Very refreshing during the day and cozy in the hot tub at night! The breakfast included was DELICIOUS! This stay was such an incredible value! Would definitely stay again!

I did not bring great walking shoes so walking into town was a littler tiring even those it was only 10 minutes. It would hae been nice to rent the golf carts by the hour!

It was a quiet little oasis. No loud music or kids running around. The rooms were well appointed cool and clean. The bed was huge and fairly comfortable. The mini fridge was a blessing for water and to keep our own wine in. Breakfast was set up just outside our room around the pool and the included menu was perfect although we did treat ourselves to extra options occasionally at a minimal cost. The pool is small but even to keep cool in. The warm jacuzzi’s are pleasant not very bubbly though. The staff are all so friendly and happy to assist in any way.

The location is a bit of a walk up steep hills so not suitable for disabled or infirm. However you can rent a golf cart but at 950 pesos per 24 hours it’s expensive if you’re staying a while. We chose to be away from the noise though and for us it was an easy 15 minute walk to restaurants and beach. The fact the restaurant/ bar closes at 2pm every day is a nuisance. But they are just not busy enough to be open all day and you can stock up your fridge with wine and beer anyway. The nearest grocery store is 5 minute walk. The Deluxe Rooms do not have coffee tea equipment. We booked for 2 weeks but really that’s too long as you can get bored easily in such a boutique hotel. Between 2-5 night is a better option.

The staff, especially Daniel, are wonderful. Very accommodating. The pool is so pretty and well maintained. Bed was comfortable and the ac worked good! The free breakfast was also good a few options of yummy berry oatmeal, eggs and toast or chilaquilies. They were able to check us in early.

I think the owners were sitting getting served by the pool and their kid was playing a very loud video game that was disruptive. This could have been a once off I'm not sure. Only happened the one time. Kitchen and bar are only open until 3, but you're able to order food and Sayulita has lots of amazing dining options!

I recently stayed at Avella Boutique Hotel in Sayulita, Nayarit, and I wanted to share my thoughts on the experience. **Pros:** First and foremost, Avella is a beautiful hotel. The property is well-maintained, with clean and comfortable rooms that truly enhance your stay. The beds are incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep. The hotel is conveniently located, just a short 15-20 minute walk from the beach, making it easy to enjoy the sun and surf. I must commend the staff, particularly the housekeeper, Montse, who is a true gem. Her dedication and warmth add a special touch to the property. The person who checked me in was also wonderful, exhibiting an outgoing spirit that made me feel welcomed right away. **Cons:** However, my experience was not without its downsides. One aspect that stood out to me was the language barrier with a staff member who I assume is either the owner or a manager. It was surprising to find someone in a position of authority at a Mexican hotel who does not speak Spanish. As a Mexican, I found this ironic and somewhat unsettling. Respect for the local culture and language is essential, especially when operating a business in Mexico. It left me questioning how one can effectively manage a property without the ability to communicate with the local staff. Additionally, my experience with the breakfast attendant was less than favorable. The service was slow, and I felt a noticeable difference in the attention given to me compared to other guests. It seemed that she catered more to the American and Canadian guests rather than providing equal service to everyone, including myself. Overall, while I appreciated the beauty and comfort of Avella Boutique Hotel, I felt that it caters predominantly to American and Canadian clientele, which made my experience less authentic. Given these concerns, I do not believe I will return, as I seek a more locally-owned and culturally immersive experience when staying in Mexico.

They served a great breakfast of which you had three entree choices. Very delicious, all of them! Service was top notch.

Only one of the rentable golfcarts on site was in good shape, the others were not very comfortable and not in very good shape. But it got us around!

The pool was amazing to enjoy a swim in the morning when it was sunny and enjoy a soak in the hot tubs in the evening. It was also really nice to have breakfast by the pool to start the day. The food is delicious and there are good breakfast options to switch it up each day. We also had some nice pina coladas by the pool. The room was beautiful, clean and had extra amenities to make the stay even more comfortable such as a fridge, robes, make up remover, toothbrushes, snacks, water bottles, towels for the pool, a full length mirror, etc. Additionally, the staff was all very friendly and helpful to call us a taxi and give recommendations.

Everything was great, maybe one thing that would be good to have is access to filtered water in the evening as you only have access to the water dispenser till 3pm and then the restaurant closes. We made sure to have some extra water bottles in the fridge for the rest of the evening.

Avela is a beautiful boutique hotel in Saluyita, not in the "downtown", but it is only 10 minutes walk, which is very good and make it a great location. There is about 15 rooms, it is a quite hotel, with a gorgeous swiming pool in the middle. The breakfast is good, nice staff. Our room was spacious and clean.

Given the price we paid, we would have appreciated having a kettle available in the room, along with coffee and tea. In addition, I would have appreciated being notified by the staff when I checked out one day prior to our departure that I was not scheduled to check out until the following day. While losing track of time can certainly happen when one is on holiday, a simple reminder would have helped avoid losing a night at Avela and having to rebook and pay for another hotel.

Todas las instalaciones están muy bien en general, la piscina podías utilizarla sin horario igual que los jacuzzis, cama cómoda, baño amplio, muy buenas instalaciones....

Pues este establecimiento tiene retenido un dinero ilegalmente en mi tarjeta de crédito, admite que está devuelto pero ese dinero sigue retenido en mi tarjeta, se puede considerar un robo, voy a tomar medidas legales contra el establecimiento

El jacuzzi está genial y en general el hotel es muy bonito. El desayuno es bueno y el mesero se sacó un 10, fue atento con nosotros El anfitrión nos dió una upgrade en el cuarto por algunos temas que tenían en la habitación que nos habían asignado

El hotel tiene algunas reglas extrañas, con respecto a los blancos, tienes que pedir la limpieza del cuarto con mecánicas extrañas o fuera del estándar. El cuarto que nos asignaron tenia vista al barrio, el cual por las noches las noches es ruidoso. En la habitación nos acompaño una mega araña, una cucaracha y una lagartija 🦎

breakfast, room size, the staff were exceptionally helpful and very friendly, welcome drink on entry, pool is amazing and very relaxing compared to other hotels in Salyulita. You can rent golf carts from the hotel to get around and down to the beach, otherwise it's a 10 min walk through the town. Not far at all, and quite nice (up hill on the way back).

More storage in the rooms - somewhere to put our suitcase, or unpack a little so it's not on the floor. Could also move the monster truck from the driveway so there is room to use the driveway. But otherwise, everything was great!

The rooms are spacious and the amenities are great! Caroline and the rest of the staff were very helpful, the service was great!

No me gustó la ubicación, la habitación normal, el suelo podrían mejorarlo , poner más armario, y no me parece nada bien que nada más llegar te estresen con el tema de manchar las toallas y que te retengan 3000 pesos, cuando queda bastante mejor solicitar tu número de tarjeta…y las almohadas duras como piedras, no volveremos…

The location is awful. Off a busy road with motorcycles at all hours. I barely slept and the room didn't have a lot of natural light either during the day. Also it says free breakfast but you only get 3 options, none of which I could eat.

Great small and private facility. Staff was also really nice and friendly! I recommend booking a golf cart to get around Sayulita, as the place is a 10min walk away from the beach and the city centre.

Breakfast was good, but for only consisted of three options from a bigger menu. For every tiny extra choice you had to pay extra. For me personally, this is not what "breakfast included" implies.

La atención de todo el personal es excelente. Todos son muy atentos y Amauri en especial es un gran host.

En ocasiones tuvimos que pedir que nos dejaran papel de baño o botellas de agua ya que quienes realizan el aseo no lo tienen en cuenta.

Está hermoso! Tal cual las fotos! Súper bien cuidado y limpio, el personal que está en el hotel es muy muy amable nos ayudaron con recomendaciones y nos sentimos muy apapapachados! Esperamos volver muy pronto.

Súper cómodo todo, limpio y el trato impecable de parte de todos los trabajadores. Especialmente Amaury, que me ayudó con recomendaciones y estuvo muy pendiente de todo para que fuese un fin de semana especial. El desayuno perfecto también y el jacuzzi también maravilloso.

Falta algo de mantenimiento en la piscina y algo de seguridad o guarda por la noche estaría bien también.

Estaba en un barrio feo y alejado, las vistas eran muy feas y tenías gente afuera poniendo música. El desayuno te daban a elegir entre tres opciones y eran bastante escuetas. Para el precio que se pagó, muy mal servicio.

Todo fantástico. Si bien el hotel no se encuentra en el mero centro de sayulita, sus instalaciones y todos los servicios valen sin duda la pena. Destacar ademas que todo el personal de administración es encantador y te ayudan en todo lo que necesites. Sin duda, muy recomendable.

El desayuno estaba muy rico, y la cama muy cómoda, el aire funcionaba al 100%, casi no pasamos tiempo en el alojamiento porque preferíamos estar en la playa, pero cuando estuvimos todo fue muy cómodo.

LE pregunte al personal sobre actividades que podía hacer cerca de la zona o agencias de viajes para contratar un tour, quedo en enviarme información pero al final no me mandó nada. Y el espacio del estacionamiento esta muy reducido

Beautiful, small, prívate boutique hotel. Exactly how you would want a boutique to be. Pool and jacuzzi were great. Breakfast very good. Even with it being a bit away from town, will definitely be back.

This place is a 10 out of 10. It was clean, quaint and had everything we needed. It’s walking distance to the town. The pool area was great, and I loved being able to walk out of my room to breakfast every morning. For the price it was great! Would definitely recommend.

So many things to say about this place: Gorgeous hotel, great pool, amazing food, friendly staff. Things to keep in mind: the rooms are on the ground floor which I can appreciate are a safety issue for some solo travellers. There is no dinner service here BUT the town is 5 mins away and has amazing restaurants. Very tourist friendly and yet you feel like a local. Will be staying here again for sure.
