We had a lovely stay. All the staff were really friendly and helpful. Our room was great. Very modern, clean and extremely comfortable.

Reception, bar, and restaurant were very modern and stylish, but also relaxed and welcoming. The Mountain View from our room was good. The room was clean and bright, with comfortable mattresses. The staff were great - friendly, welcoming, helpful, and enthusiastic. The food in the restaurant was delicious and reasonably priced.

Parking! It is not free! The room was small and cramped. It was a room for three with only one chair. The pillows were uncomfortable - very flat and worn. The bathroom was nice with the frosted glass walls, but the ugly curtain around it took up space and looked filthy! I don’t know why you need the curtain, but if it must be there, it has to be washed regularly! Breakfast was also disappointing. There was little choice, no hot options other than eggs. The buffet options were not suitable to a European diet at all, which was disappointing.

Due to the hill to get to and from the City. Suggestion courtesy bus would help guests. Instead of them paying for cabs to get back to the property.

Well appointment rooms and the view exceptional

Hotel staff were very lovely and accommodating but the Mozzarella & Co restaurant was a little disappointing at times. Staff were inattentive and service was very slow even during quiet periods.

Great location, interiors and breakfast.

The room was hot as the central aircon could not be set below a certain temperature. All of us were sweating at night and the staff raised their hands that they could not do anything. It was a shame.

Loved the breakfast. The hotel was friendly and inviting. The room was clean and well organized. The sauna was a lovely bonus

Loved the property, the buffet breakfast, the amazing and helpful staff - nothing was ever a problem for them. Had nice Antipodes toiletary, dyson dryers and straightners, the towels were soft, coffee machine.. we had booked a suite so had two TVs... loved the stay.

The only reason I am giving this a scor of 9 and this is biased because of the beds - they were soft, the pillows were soft and I prefer med to firm beds. I couldn't sleep 2 nights however as I mentioned this was a personal preference.

You couldn't open any windows. The foyer was hot. Our room was so stuffy and you are in constant recycled air. Even being able to crack a window slightly would have been ok... We loved everything else about the hotel - but unfortunately this design floor is a deal breaker for us.

This is no longer a Holiday Inn Express, so there is no complimentary breakfast. This should have been updated in the FAQs with outdated responses and info from 2021-2023.

The location, staff and facilities were amazing! This was one of the most enjoyable hotel stays I have ever experienced. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. This hotel did “the little details” so well, the complementary bottles of water in the room on arrival and they even provided marshmallows for roasting over their outdoor fire pit. We had a great time.

The bed could have been slightly comfier.

Location, comfortable bed, room was up to date.. the foyer where you check in is large and airy, it also has a bar, sofas and coffee tables, and is where breakfast is and dinner, so it has some life.

Breakfast buffet could be a bit more expansive. More clothes hangers needed and some wall hooks to increase the hanging space would be good.

There were no toilet brushes and when we asked they didn't bring. And it was the second last day and they left it dirty.

The staff were absolutely amazing and couldn’t do enough for you, the breakfast was delicious every morning with many options, and the rooms and hotel overall was better than i ever expected it would be with the price I paid. I highly recommend VOCO!

Being very nitpicky here because I really don’t have any complaints about this place, but would’ve loved to have access to a couple of shelves in the room to unpack my suitcase into since I was staying for a week.

Great location, close to town and the ski bus stop. The room was clean and comfortable, the staff were very friendly, and the breakfast and restaurant were both great. We were grateful for the drying room and sauna after being out in the snow. Would definitely stay here again.

The hotel was in such a convenient location, only a 5 minute walk from the town centre! However, it was out of the way enough that it was peaceful. The hotel staff were absolutely incredible, so attentive and thoughtful. We also loved the vibe of the hotel, it was super cosy and had a nice selection of food for breakfast!

The water pressure in the showers could've been just a little bit better but other than that, we loved everything about our room!

The location was good.

No ventilation in room. Room was super small. Did not feel clean. Dusty as. I couldn’t breathe most nights. Room service had nothing on it compared to other hotels. Restaurant was the same , Especially for the price. $25 per day for parking which wasn’t mentioned when booking.

Service by all staff was fantastic. Even the chef was aware that we missed breakfast one morning and made sure we had something to eat. The hotel was well maintained and sauna was great too

The blankets seemed to cause some rash on my legs but not 100% sure. On the 3rd day when I went to have breakfast, I was told I did not book my breakfast even I already had breakfast in previous 2 days. I was asked to show the staff booking information which I did not print out. The staff from the front desk did not find the error is his first trial either... In the end this got sorted out and they aplogised for the inconvenience. But it was quite annoying then as I spent 10+ mins waiting there feeling like being questioned. I still cannot figure out how can such an error be made as it in the middle of my staying and I booked all nights in one go.

Great location. Fantastic breakfast included and lovely room. The hotel has all the facilities you would expect and a close proximity to town central.

The service of the staff and the expectations you would expect to match the hotel price and how good the quality of the facility was. Unfortunately the room service was attempted with minimal effort. Where all used glasses were left. Bed attempted to be made but only as far as tucking in the blanket. No replenishment of anything else done and the bathroom left uncleaned. Additionally the hotel charges for a parking space in their underground parking. However on one evening we returned to find it full even though paying for a parking bay. When asking what do we do they apologised for overbooking but their fix was to just park outside. While I appreciate that is an option, the fact they are happy to charge you and overbooking and then when it happens their solution is to happily not offer a refund and accept that is just how it is. Is where I had an issue. Essentially staff didn’t really seem to be bothered they are overbooking and charging.

The outstanding feature of this hotel was the friendliness and professionalism of the staff...from the reception to the restaurant and bar. There is a great dynamic and vibe at this hotel. The rooms are a good size and the beds very comfortable. The restaurant food was excellent.

Very welcoming with a spacious lobby and great staff. Rooms were big clean and had all the amenities for a comfortable stay. Location walking distance to downtown Our family of 16 had a wonderful stay in this hotel. We highly recommend the hotel and will surely go back.

Fairly close to the town centre, around 10-15 mins walk depending on your speed. Most staff were very accommodating. Comfortable beds. Breakfast selection is limited but good enough. On site cafe/restaurant at lobby also has limited menu but food tastes good. If you don’t like the options, they allow you to eat your takeaway food there too.

There are periods where there are a lot of people at the food area but barely any staff to accommodate everyone resulting in more waiting time to order (i.e dinner). It was winter but the lobby feels quite stuffy if you come in at noon time.

Great location and room clean and tidy

Building work meant breakfast area was crowded and was noisy during the day. Didn’t know building work taking place. Paid for a coffee at the cafe area and was possibly the worst I have ever had!
