We hadden geboekt, met foto’s van gerenoveerde kamers. Toen we ter plaatse waren kregen we verouderde kamers. De kamers waren ook hygiënisch niet optimaal er werden haren aangetroffen.

An excellent hotel with everything you need. Well presented and exceptionally clean with very friendly staff, good facilities and a relaxing pool area. The hotel is also just a few minutes walk into the gorgeous old town and a 10 minute walk to the Marina. Like other reviews stated, the breakfast buffet really has a wonderful selection. Highly recommended. Would happily start here again.

No nos gustó la habitación que nos tocó, muy lejos, en la zona viaja, con una terraza muy pequeña y el baño nunca había visto un baño así en un hotel de 4 estrellas, y las vistas muy feas. Nada que ver con lo que ponía en las fotos a la hora de comprar. Muy descontentas con eso.

Se coges una habitacion standar no es un cuatro estrellas parece mas bien un hostal, sin ascensor en muchos tramos,baño enano ducha enana, terraza terrible no cabia ni una mesa, 2 sillas mal puestas, parking gratuito descubierto donde te cagan 1000 pajaros, muy sucio

La struttura è datata ma le camere hanno avuto qualche piccola opera di ristrutturazione. Il personale è molto attento ai bisogni dei clienti. La struttura è enorme, a noi è stata assegnata una camera che dalla hall distava circa 5 minuti a piedi ( dovevamo prendere 3 ascensori) da segnalare se si hanno necessità. Per il resto offrono molti servizi, piscina con asciugamani gratuiti, spiaggia provata e colazione a buffet veramente molto completa.

Good location. Easy to find.

Had a room that was out dated and in need of renovation. Bathroom in particular was poor. Tub with shower that isn’t that uncommon but this particular tub was very narrow and slippery. Fell twice while in it and once trying to get out.

Es un poco viejo pero está bien para pasar unos días en Lagos.

Les personnes à l’accueil sont parfaites, le manager / responsable qui a pris en compte notre réclamation sur la qualité de l’hôtel était plus que parfait et a trouvé très rapidement une solution de remplacement pour nous satisfaire en nous changeant de chambre . Seul le petit déjeuner était à la hauteur de nos attentes

La propreté et la vétusté de la structure . On a l’impression d’un hôtel à l’abandon. Si l’entrée / la façade de l’hôtel est propre, repeinte, ne vous fiez pas aux apparences ! L’hôtel ( 4*) n’en mérite que 2 . Il aurait besoin d’une rénovation complète . Chambre, salle de bains, piscine, carrelage, peinture du bâtiment, … peinture defrechie, les photos parlent d’elles mêmes 😉 Nous avons traversé des couloirs avec du carrelage cassé, trouvé du moisi dans la salle de bain , carrelage de la piscine cassé, manque de nettoyage,… Seul le prix est 4* Quelle déception quand nous avons eu la 1ere chambre en arrivant de Comporta ou l’hôtel était parfait ! Je n’aime pas être négatif mais hotel a éviter

El recinto es bastante espacioso y tenía diferentes ambientes en los que estar: piscina, piscina interior, jardines… Además contaba con diferentes restaurantes para cada comida del día. Durante el día en recepción tenían agua disponible y cada día reponían la botella de agua de cortesía. En el caso del buffet de desayuno, nos pareció completo, con opciones variadas y algún que otro dulce portugués. Además tenía la opción de estar dentro o en la terraza. Los camareros recogían rápidamente aquello que dejases y estaban muy atentos por si necesitabas algo. Al lado de las piscinas había un espacio de mesas para poder utilizarlas sin tener que estar en las hamacas.

Cuando llegamos al resort, después de hacer el check in nos dijeron que vendría alguien del personal a explicarnos el hotel, ya que tiene bastantes recovecos y muchas subidas y bajadas, estuvimos esperando un buen rato y nadie llegó, por lo que nos fuimos por nuestra cuenta, al principio cuesta un poco entenderlo y pese a ubicarse, es algo incómodo tener que subir y bajar todo el rato escaleras. Desde el momento en el que llegamos a la habitación vimos que no se encontraba limpia del todo, ya que vimos alguna mancha en la encimera del lavabo, en alguna toalla, bichos pequeños en la ducha… Prácticamente ningún enchufe de la habitación funcionaba y la televisión no era SmartTV. El hotel se ve algo antiguo por los pasillos con pared descascarillada, moquetas viejas, fachada descuidada… Por último el hotel se encuentra en el centro, pero en lo alto de dos cuestas bastante empinadas.

Check in was very slow took a while to check in. We requested a double bed got 2 single bed wasnt the end of the world but the option would have been nice. No one explained where our room was so was a bit a of a maze to find it. The room was okay had a view of the carpark.

Very nice interior. Outside needs some rework and thé room had a horrible view on the surrounding buildings but that's was no dealbreaker. we had a lovely stay... Vivid city and good location.

Ho prenotato una camera standard al costo di circa 240 euro a notte. La stanza era lontano dal corpo centrale dell'hotel, arredi datati e un condizionatore vecchio e rumoroso. Spesso sono salita in camera verso le 16 e non era ancora stata pulita. Ma la cosa tremenda è che affacciandoci dalla camera si vedeva un cimitero. Sinceramente è stato terribile, e sono molto dispiaciuta perchè avevo già soggiornato in questo hotel. Ma questa volta la stanza era pessima per quello che abbiamo pagato!!!!!!

Vicinanza con il centro a pochi passi. Garage auto gratuito fino a completamento posti. Bar sempre aperto e ristoranti interni adeguati. Colazione buona.

Bagno camera fatiscente, piccolo poco pulito che non rispecchia il costo di acquisto o la qualità percepita di un brand come NH. Sciacquone wc in parte guasto. Ante doccia non sigillate. Soffione doccia che perdeva acqua. Vista balcone su palazzi. Personale delle pulizie poco attento ai dettagli e programmazione pulizia stanze da rivedere. Alcune volte passa.

L'hotel è a dieci minuti a piedi dal centro di Lagos, a 20 minuti a piedi dalle prime spiagge. Offre anche un servizio navetta per andare alla spiaggia dove c'è il loro stabilimento balneare. Hanno il parcheggio all'aperto gratuito o quello coperto a pagamento (8€ al giorno). La colazione è ottima, si trova qualsiasi cosa di dolce e salato. C'è anche la piscina all'aperto con bar, ma essendo in Algarve noi abbiamo preferito sempre andare al mare.

The room was great and the breakfast was lovely every morning. the location was perfect only about 5-6 minutes walk to the old town with beautiful streets, tons of restaurants and shops options.

Établissement pas pratique avec bébé en poussette, pas d’ascenseur. Notre chambre n’a pas été nettoyer durant notre séjour nous avons dû nous plaindre à la réception pour avoir des serviettes propres. Balcon très très sale , volet casser et baie vitré qui ne coulissait plus. La piscine est complètement à refaire et le personnel pas très accueillant. Je ne recommande pas dutout cet établissement et suis très déçu. Très mal entretenue et très vieillissant.

Hotel propre et literie confortable. Meilleur petit déjeuner de ma vie. Piscine magnifique et parking gratuit. Un superbe hotel !

Die Lage des Hotels ist ausgezeichnet. Das Frühstücksbuffet war sehr umfangreich und hat alle Wünsche abgedeckt. Der kostenlose Parkplatz war auch wunderbar.

Unsere Unterkunft war allerdings ziemlich verwohnt, die Betten arg ausgelegen und wir hatten Ameisen im Zimmer. Auch die Treppenstufen zum Badbereich sind für ältere Reisende nicht gut bis gefährlich. Insgesamt fehlte uns ein freundlicher, frischer, schöner oder gemütlicher Touch. Auf jeden Fall muss in der gesamten Anlage einiges überholt bzw. renoviert werden.

Increíble experiencia❤️ ha superado mis expectativas! Pase cuatro noches con mi pareja, era una ocasión especial porque celebraba además de vacaciones aniversario con mi chico, y tuvieron detalles estupendos con nosotros. La arquitectura del hotel además nos fascinó, es como una preciosa cueva antigua llena de recovecos y laberintos, blanca como una casita Santorini y llena de moqueta azul, la decoración y escaleras principales te recuerdan a una película antigua, súper chula❤️ la piscina era preciosa, llena de mucha vegetación y flores. El servicio fue increíblemente amable, mención especial a los camareros del bar de dentro y de la piscina. El desayuno buffet no tengo palabras, tiene una terracita y muchísima comida de todo tipo, incluidos gofres que hacen al momento. Y los mejores huevos a la plancha que he probado jamás en un buffet(primer buffet donde los huevos tienen la yema líquida, estaban riquísimos). Además tiene un jardín tropical que es un sueño, con un estanque y carpas y tortugas, y extras como una pequeña habitación biblioteca muy acogedora. La habitación era perfecta, espaciosa y muy limpia. He sido muy feliz esos días en este hotel, tengo muy claro que regresaré a lagos y a este sitio, a seguir perdiendome por sus misteriosos pasillos y a disfrutar de todos sus rincones👌❤️😍 gracias a todo el hotel

The location is great, right in the centre of Lagos. The resort has charm and the outdoor pool is nice.

The resort is already quite expensive and many things require extra cost: the parking and sun beds at the beach club (the "third" pool at the beach club is 22e per person!!). The onsite restaurants are quite expensive as well compared to off-site options. Some of the restaurant staff is a little rude (we were turned away from one because a table of 6 was coming in 30minutes, which made no sense given the place was empty).

The hotel is dated, needs a complete renovation to reflect those 4 stars, now it’s a clear 3 stars, not 4.

This resort was a disappointment. While the location was wonderful and the breakfast outstanding, the customer service was not what I would expect at a 4-star resort. The front desk, bar and pool bar staff were not friendly and often made us feel uncomfortable. I was not even able to get an ice cube from the bar and was told I had to order a bucket as room service. We were in Lagos during a heat wave and the water station at the front was rarely filled and often no clean glasses. We felt like we were an inconvenience when we asked for a glass. I am certain that for the price we paid we could have found accommodations in Lagos with much more welcoming staff. This really took away from our Algarve experience.

Hôtel nécessitant destravaux de remise en état. Si l'hôtel méritait ses 4 étoiles début 2000, Il est vieillissant, tant au niveau des extérieurs et de l'aménagement des chambres (salle de bain vieillotte, entretien geberal des extérieurs, peintures des batiments). Le Service manque d'efficacité et de contrôle (bouteille d'eau non remplacée, couette manquante, propreté des chambres), .... La Direction semble dépassée par la gestion d'un tel établissement.

Proximity to the marina, restaurants and shops

It was not close to the beach. Hotel offered shuttle service but not convenient. Place was old, dirty with carpets, doors, hinges, chairs ripped. It hasn't been maintained or updated in a very long time. An upscale hotel was expected and paid when the booking took place. But instead it was at a best 2 to 3 star. Will never stay there again.

Very disappointing experience — would not stay here again Honestly, this was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. Unfortunately, the biggest issue was the staff, who were consistently unkind and unfriendly throughout our stay. If you’re looking for a hotel where you feel welcomed, accommodated, and taken care of, I would not recommend staying here. One experience in particular was extremely frustrating. I had something delivered to the hotel that I needed for medical reasons. Before placing the order, I specifically confirmed with the front desk that I could have it delivered to the hotel, and I was told that this was okay. When the delivery arrived, however, the delivery person was turned away and I was later told that it was “against hotel policy.” What made this even more frustrating was that the package had actually been received and was sitting in the back of the hotel the entire time. Thankfully, one employee eventually helped me locate it and was the only person who showed any kindness or willingness to assist during the situation. The hotel itself is also very confusingly laid out. It took us about 10 minutes just to figure out how to get to our room. If you have any difficulty with stairs, walking, or mobility, I would strongly recommend choosing another hotel, as navigating the property can be quite difficult. Overall, the experience was extremely disappointing. Between the unfriendly staff, lack of communication, confusing layout, and the way our situation was handled, I would not return. 1/10 — unfortunately, I cannot recommend this hotel.

The hotel had a nice swimming pool. The rooms were comfortably big. The bathroom, nice and functional. The Hotel was in the middle of the town center so absolutely convenient to get everywhere. There was also parking at the hotel which was convenient. And the people at the reception were quite nice.

The value for the room seemed quite good, but then when we wanted parking, that’s added quite a lot to the bill. And on top of that, we also had a dog which we had to pay for and that was another 35 per night. Now normally that’s not too much of an issue, but what I don’t like is they give you a room that is not the best room because they don’t want to give you the good rooms when you have a dog but when I booked, I did book a higher class room so it didn’t really feel like we got worth our money. They did have a nice beach club though.

We stayed for 2 nights in this room. We realized that neither the TV nor the phone in the room worked: we discovered the next day that the Ethernet cable didn't work. The balcony was dirty and the old sliding door was not well soundproofed: you could clearly hear the motor of the air conditioner working. The toilet was leaking (incongruent with their "we love the planet" slogan) and the glass partition in the shower was also leaking to the exterior of the restroom. We also needed a soft pillow, that we did not get. The receptionist did not tell us they did not have a pillow menu. The minibar was not cold enough. Be aware as well that room cleaning could be carried out until 17:30. At the end of out stay we spoke with the front desk manager (Cristina V.) and she said they will manage these issues as soon as possible for the rooms along this corridor. She didn’t promise us anything specific. Therefore, we recommend that you before getting installed, check all the services of the room you expect to use just in case, and ask for a switch rooms if necessary.

The hotel is really nice, the room was comfortable and quite spacious, the Nespresso machine in the room as a big plus. You can get towels for the beach and for the pool. The beach club area is really nice, but you do have to pay extra for the sun beds. It is great that there is a shuttle to take you there as walking takes you a bit. The pool at the hotel is quite ok. There is a gym, which has some basic equipment. Breakfast was very good, having a diverse selection. The location of the hotel is also very good for going out and explore the city centre.

You do have to pay for the sun beds at the beach club, but there is a discount for hotel guests and you can pay for only half a day (6€) or full day (12€). The hotel is quite big and can be a bit of an up and down to get to your room, but there are elevators as well.

Location is good

Staff are grumpy apart from the pool area. The breakfast staff are too busy talking or trying to do the least possible. Always a struggle to find the basic spoons, bowls or coffee cups. When you ask them they say sorry nothing we can do. Everything is super old and really needs a refurb. Room service is extortionate dont do it!

Stayed here for a week to celebrate a friend’s 60th birthday. After reading previous reviews decided to upgrade to a pool view room & was glad I did , great location. Would have no problem with staying here again the staff throughout the hotel couldn’t do enough for you , lovely reception as you walked in & a very pleasant bar area , yes it’s a bit tired in areas but overall I found it a very pleasant hotel to stay in & would happily return.

Hotel reception & bar areas are nicely decorated & staff are friendly & helpful, however, the rooms we stayed in are tired and mine & my friends room we shared had a cockroach in it! The pool area & views of the building all need a lick of paint & upgrade, which looks like it is gradually taking place. We booked a group few days away to watch some of the World Cup in Lagos & had a great time. Made sure we had a package break to be covered for delays or cancellation. Overall the hotel needs some investment to bring it up to standard. Plenty of choice at breakfast time.

After reading some mixed reviews we were pleasantly impressed with this hotel. Location is perfect, staff were lovely, so friendly and helpful. Rooms were spotless. We upgraded to a superior pool view and it was perfect. We had a great stay and would definitely recommend.

Stayed for 4 nights in June at the NH Lagos resort and had an enjoyable stay despite having some hesitations from reading reviews before I arrived. The hotel is dated in places and there is no way to sugarcoat it but the rooms which have been updated are pretty good so you do need to choose your room wisely when booking otherwise you will get what you paid for. Checking in took ages and then you had to wait for someone to guide you to your room but I think most people would find there way if they just handed you a map and pointed in the direction that you need to go in. Granted there is 296 rooms and it's spread over a large area but I'm sure you would not get lost. The room (Superior room with view) was a good size, spotless clean, contemporary in places where it had been upgraded but dated elsewhere (the wardrobe space) The bed was very, very comfortable, nice crisp white linens. The curtains blocked the morning light except for a few random holes in places here and there. The bathroom was spacious, plenty of counter space, soft bathrobes, lots of towels and the walk-in shower was easy to use and clean. The small balcony overlooked the pool and it never got noisy either in the morning or evening. Fridge/minibar and kettle to make tea or coffee. Complimentary bottle of water every day was a nice touch. The TV was brand new and the wifi worked very well too. The pool itself was refreshing but in need of repair around the edges but I guess that's a big job for the low season. As ever people did reserve the loungers and place towels and the such from early morning and not use them until gone 10 or 11 - nothing was ever done. It was easy to change your pool towels as and when you needed at the hut in exchange for your towel token. Breakfast was superb, plenty of choice so you will not go hungry or thirsty, there was even sparkling wine so have a glass or 2 as you are on vacation. My only criticism would be that the room numbers are not checked against a live database to see if the room included breakfast, it just seemed everybody had breakfast included in their rate ? Parking was free in the outside car park and €8 in the covered underground car park. There was a small library , business center and lots of places to hid away and read a book. Bars both inside and outside on the pool deck too. The staff were mostly good, helpful but sometimes over worked. The location is superb, walking distance to old town or over the bridge to the marina and train station. There's a Pingo Doce supermarket a few minutes away on Avenida da República and the bus station is very near the hotel too. There is also a variety of bars and restaurants on the street outside the hotel if you did not want to venture too far. Enjoy your time at the NH Lagos if you decide to stay there.

I loved this hotel! Very beautiful with many accommodations. Great location and walking distance to anything you need. It was bigger than what I thought. The pool was great. The rooms were well equipped with hair dryer and fridge, despite being dated. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very good. It was buffet style with anything anyone would want. The food at the restaurants were very tasty. We ate at the Italian restaurant and the bar. Very close to the train station. You could walk if necessary.

Bij aankomst zien de gebouwen er mooi wit uit, maar op het resort zelf zien de gebouwen er wat grauwig uit. Hygiëne van de kamer (opgelost doordat er een andere kamer aangeboden werd). Rumoerige ontbijt ruimte. Douchegel werd helaas niet automatisch aangevuld maar na vragen bij receptie direct oplost. Zwembad erg koud

*Gammelt og relativt dårlig vedlikeholdt. *Lang avstand til de fine strendene med klipper. *Muligheter for transport til egen beach club ved en annen strand, men veldig lite sted og fortsatt et lite stykke fra stranda, så vi valgte heller å dra videre et annet sted. *Testet middagsbuffet på hotellet en kveld, men det var ikke så bra utvalg, og noe varmmat var kaldt. *I forhold til pris var nok forventningene mye høyere.

The beach was a shuttle bus away and the beach chairs were paid.

Good location near the old town and the marina. The hotel was very clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly. We eat in two of the restaurants and the food and service was exceptional. The bus to the beach and the beach club is very good.

La habitación inaccesible con bastantes escalones para poder acceder a ella y con la calidad pésima, desde luego no está a la altura de un NH. Estas habitaciones estándar no cumplen ni seguridad pues a mi me desapareció 50 euros que tenía en mi cartera en un cajón por lo que colmó el vaso y abandonamos el hotel con el acuerdo de la responsable del hotel de la devolucion de los días no consumidos de los cuales me dio la factura rectificativa y estoy esperando el ingreso.

Don’t Let the Negative Reviews Put You Off We have just returned from another wonderful stay and felt compelled to leave a review because some of the recent negative comments genuinely don’t reflect the experience we had. It sometimes feels as though people are looking for faults rather than enjoying their holiday. No hotel is perfect, but the level of criticism in some reviews seems completely disproportionate to what is actually on offer here. From the moment we arrived until the day we left, every member of staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming and accommodating. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and the level of service throughout the hotel was fantastic. The bar staff, pool staff and housekeeping team were particularly outstanding and are a real credit to the hotel. Our room was modern, comfortable and cleaned to a very high standard every day. The Wi-Fi was excellent throughout our stay, and we loved the fresh beach towels provided daily – a small touch that made a big difference. One criticism I have seen mentioned is the pool area. While it may look a little dated in places and could perhaps benefit from refurbishment in the future, it’s understandable that major works can’t be carried out during the busy summer season. More importantly, the pool area was clean, well maintained and we never had any difficulty finding a lovely spot to relax and enjoy the sunshine. The food was another highlight. Breakfast offered a great selection, was always well stocked and served by attentive staff. The pool bar snacks were excellent – genuinely one of the best burgers we have ever had on holiday! My personal favourite was the strawberry daiquiri, which was absolutely delicious. The hotel strikes the perfect balance between being peaceful and relaxing while still being within easy reach of everything Lagos has to offer. It’s close enough to enjoy the town, restaurants and marina, yet quiet enough to truly unwind. This was not our first stay here, and it certainly won’t be our last. We had a fantastic holiday and would happily recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a friendly, relaxing and well-run base in Lagos. If you’re reading reviews before booking, I’d encourage you to take some of the harsher comments with a pinch of salt and judge the hotel for yourself.

So many different blocks it takes a while to get your bearings

O hotel se localiza perto da rodoviária, estação de trem e do centro. O café da manhã era excelente, com muita variedade.

Apesar de constar elevador, para chegar ao quarto tivemos que passar por 2 lances de escada, o que tornou difícil a acessibilidade para a gente. Para acessar o local do café da manhã, também precisa subir escadas. Como já sou idoso, tive dificuldades.

The location is good. It is about a 10 minute walk to the main busy area, but far enough away that it stays quiet.

Unfortunately, the rest of our stay was disappointing. The staff were rude when we checked out. They took our room keys, asked for our room number, then simply told us to leave. Nobody asked how our stay was or thanked us for visiting. When we were packing to leave, we found ants in our room. The cold water tap also had very low water pressure, which made it difficult to wash your face. The decking around the pool was falling apart and repairs started early in the morning. There were unsupported sections that felt unsafe to walk on. Breakfast was exactly the same every day with no variety, which became boring after a few days. The food was left out in large batches for a long time, so it became dry and chewy. It was disappointing, especially as the hotel describes it as award winning. It also did not look like the photos, which showed much nicer presentation with fresh fruit cut into shapes and other details. We also booked massages, which we regretted. The spa was just a noisy room in the basement with people constantly walking past. There was no communication between reception and the spa, so we had to explain our booking several times to different people. Paying was just as confusing. We were first told it would be charged to our room, then told to pay the massage therapists directly, then sent back to reception to pay instead. Even the prices were incorrect. The whole experience was badly organised. One of the massage therapists spent the entire session talking about British politics and sharing racist opinions, which made it impossible to relax. The massage itself was also poor. Parking was confusing and should have been explained before we arrived. Overall, the location was the best part of our stay, but the service, maintenance, breakfast and spa experience meant we would not stay here again.

After reading some reviews I was bit apprehensive about the NH Hotel in Lagos. The hotel was booked with Jet 2 and was based on a standard room, some of the reviews were very negative on the condition of the rooms and that there were a lot of steps to reach the rooms, I contacted the hotel via email about my concerns and also that my wife had some mobility issues, they recommended booking a superior room as they were close to the reception area, restaurant, bar and pool. There were 2 types of superior rooms , a modern at an extra €12 per night and a modern with garden view at €20 per night. I booked the modern room at €12 per night / €84 per week as we wanted to be close to all the amenities, upon arrival we were upgraded to the superior garden view room . Our porter took our bags and brought us to the room however the door was open because there seemed to be an issue with the lock also the fan in the shower was on and it was quiet noisy, the porter brought us back to reception and after a few minutes the manager came over to us apologising for the inconvenience and gave us a new superior garden view room which was excellent. Later on that evening a letter was left under the door apologising once again and gave a voucher for 2 drinks at the bar. I was highly impressed with the customer service and so far we are really enjoying our stay and we still have 4 days to left on our holiday. John & Ann McK.

The hotel is in a very good location, central to the main town and restaurants etc. The hotel coves a large area with a pool, bars and three restaurants and gym. The staff were helpful and friendly. The breakfast was superb with a massive selection.

The room I was in was quite small in the back of beyond and in need of renovation the air conditioning units are noisy.

Para llegar a determinadas habitaciones es complicado. No fue nuestro caso pero complicado para personas con escasa movilidad o de edad avanzada. Sin ascensores disponibles en algunos lugares

Lovely to see some upgrades taking place at the hotel - it’s a fabulous location and lovely staff. Love the environmental policy as well with rewards to match

Hotel was well taken care of! You could tell it was a bit older but our room was recently renovated. AC was amazing. The outdoor pool is great with decent poolside service. Good value on the on the room, which was also very clean. Overall atmosphere is great, almost Mediterranean and location is superb, close to old town but quiet in the evenings, reasonable noise levels. Indoor pool atmosphere was not great, it felt like the backrooms.

Best breakfast I’ve had in Portugal and that’s over 6 plus hotels. Location was good because only a 5 minute walk to old town and kept you away from all the noise. We only used the pool area once and it was beautiful. The rooms were very quiet and didn’t hear other guests at all. Having onsite parking was beneficial too. When you visit old town, check out Restaurante - Pizzeria O Cavaleiro. Middle of old town, owner (Marco) was awesome and excellent food and vibe !

The hotel is large and spread out so multiple sets of steps to get to your room. We checked in and there were 6 staff at the front desk and only 1 porter.
