Reception was wondetfull and helpfull. Room was clean. Noice from passage and pool area was disturbing but was better after after 23h00. Breakfast was exellent.

Muy bueno el hotel, todo el personal es super amable. El desayuno es muy rico y variado, y la cena tambien estubo muy rica. La piscina es un plus si no tienes ganas de ir a la playa, y la terraza en el ultimo piso tiene unas vista lindisimas.

We arrived at 13h00. Checking in was from 13h to 14h00. They told us that the room was ready. Surprise! 1.The room was not clean properly. 2.The tap handle in the bathroom fell off when touched. 3.The room was not accessible by lift. The hotel has 6 floors, therefore upper floor is not the 4th 4.The room had a tiny window just above the floor (need to bend over to open). 5.When I complained, the lady in charge (she refused to give me her name) and her two young assistants at the reception desk tried to blame me for checking in at 13h00. She talked against me in Italian to the others, only stopping when I said that I understand (from being fluent also in Spanish). Very rude for hotel industry. They and the staff kept saying that they were very busy. 6.Room only made up after 15h30, although we left daily after 08h00 and requested early cleaning. Reason given: too busy with checking in new arrivals. 7.Glasses and cups not cleaned. 8.Kettle provided, but no tea or coffee or sugar. 9. The wash basin in the bathroom in room 516 was blocked. I did not complain about 7, 8 or 9, as I had enough of the place and the "assistant manager " and her attitude. My impression is that the hotel is short of personnel and cannot service the rooms or guests adequately.

Frukosten var bättre än vad vi fått på andra Italienska hotell. Bra läge nära stan, station och strand. Städningen var bra och rummet stort och fint.

Balkongen var extremt liten, det gick inte att sitta på den och vi kunde inte ens ha dörren öppen på grund av trafikbullret från den trafikerade vägen som gick under balkongen. Maten på hotellet var tråkig.

La habitación, pequeña, le hace falta muchos arreglos porque es un hotel viejo y la limpieza muy justa. En un par de ocasiones según recepción tenían de plazo hasta las 4 y tuve que avisar yo a las de la limpieza a las 3:50 para que la limpiaran y en 5 min literal lo “limpiaron” así que luego por las noches al dormir se notaba mucho polvo.

La ubicación es perfecta y está muy céntrico.

If I had to come up with something I didn’t like I’d have to say that the coffee with breakfast was terrible. The americano coffee was like mud. Other than that the place was very very nice

A lovely, clean hotel with fabulous staff. We had a problem with our door which was dealt with immediately, but also given keys for peace of mind. Air conditioning and good shower made the intense temperature more bearable. Room was a good size with lots of storage, although more coat hangers would be useful. Breakfast was plentiful, many options and Luigi ensured all ran smoothly. Pool area was always clean with loungers and deck chairs usually available. Perfect location to explore Sorrento and surrounding areas. Close to lots of great restaurants, the port and train station. If we returned to Sorrento, we would definitely stay here again.

Very friendly personnel, nice pool. However, we cannot recommend the triple room. It is just a double room reconfigured with a third bed instead of the desk. So instead of extra space and furniture for the third person (e.g., a third chair) you have even less space, no desk, not enough room for your bags, no extra hangers for the additional towels. This should really be advertised as a double with extra side bed instead of a triple room (which in many other hotles has an appropriate size when sold as a triple).

The people at the reception are magnificent, very helpful and welcoming.

This is a 4 star Hotel and the expectations are much higher. But the room is very small, lighting is poor and charging sockets are not available by the side of the bed. Only 1 in the middle thus showing that this was never meat to be a double bed room. I also would like to mention the gym - there is no particular room but it is in open space downstairs with everything scattered around and no a/c.

We loved the incredible view from our room's balcony, and the sensational breakfast in the hotel dining room. Loved the pool, and the hotel's proximity to Sorrento's main street of shops, restaurants and cafes. The staff were also amazing - so helpful and friendly.

Everything was great except for the laundry service. Aside from that incident and the one employee, everyone was very friendly.

Laundry Service: One blouse went missing, another was ironed at too high a temperature and practically ruined. But what was even worse was the very unfriendly way they handled the situation and treated us as guests.

We were so impressed with this hotel. We arrived very late to find that they had left a cold salad ready for us. I need to eat gluten free and I cannot speak highly enough for the care given to me by Luigi and the team. I only had to tell them once and every morning they brought out gluten free bread, muesli and other gluten free items. Every evening meal we had, Luigi explained the menu and advised what could be tailored. We both felt it was like being in a restaurant for evening meal and thought the food was excellent. We booked this hotel due to the location which was perfect - just a very short walk into the main busy area. We used the pool quite a lot due to a heatwave during our visit and I really loved the seating area with bubbles. Lots of sunbeds and seating and did not need to have the madness of saving sunbeds. The jacuzzi on the rooftop is also wonderful giving super views across the bay. We used the poolbar for drinks most days, and whilst not cheap the price was on par with most other bars. Our room had a lovely spacious bathroom and the bed was really comfortable. Highly recommend

Der Pool war sauber und das Barpersonal am Pool war freundlich. Das Frühstück war sehr vielseitig und das Frühstückspersonal sehr aufmerksam. Die Lage war zum Zentrum war sehr Zentral.

Beim Einchecken war das Personal an der Rezeption anfangs freundlich. Wir waren mit unseren Fahrrädern unterwegs und blieben nur eine Nacht in dem Hotel. Als wir fragten, ob es einen Stellplatz für die Räder gibt oder wo wir sie unterbringen können, bekamen wir nur die Antwort, dass wir die Räder vor dem Hotel im Außenbereich hinstellen können. Da es sich um einen öffentlichen Bereich handelt und es sich um teure Rennräder handelt, antworteten wir das dies keine Option sei. Daraufhin haben Sie uns angeboten, dass wir die Räder in einer Garage kostenpflichtig abstellen können. Sie verlangten 10€ pro Fahrrad für eine Nacht (10€!!!). Als wir sagten, dass dies sehr hoch sei, haben sie nur mit den Schultern gezuckt und gesagt, dass dies eben der Preis vom Hotel sei und wir sie eh draußen hinstellen können. Da wir das Hotel bereits gebucht hatten blieb uns somit keine andere Wahl. Die Frau mit der wir sprachen war grundsätzlich nett und bemüht, aber sie musste immer wieder bei einer weitere Frau an der Rezeption nachfragen und diese Frau wirkte von Anfang an genervt und war unfreundlich. Sie gab uns sofort das Gefühl, dass wir es bezahlen müssen und sonst Pech haben. In einem 4-Sterne Hotel erwarte ich mir ein anderes Personal an der Rezeption, dass freundlich ist und bemüht ist, dass man einen schönen Aufenthalt hat. In der Garage waren mehrere Fahrzeuge eng aneinander abgestellt, dass wir nichtmal wirklich Platz für die Fahrräder hatten und zudem musste man sich fürchten, dass sie niedergefahren werden. Für so einen Abstellplatz, der nur eine kleine Ecke war, auch noch Geld zu verlangen ist eine Frechheit. Wir sind 3 Wochen mit den Fahrrädern durch Italien gereist und hatten jeden Tag ein anderes Hotel. Wir mussten nie etwas für die Räder bezahlen (nur einmal 5€ und da hatten wir eine eigene Garage) und die anderen Hotels waren immer bemüht eine zufriedenstellende Lösung zu finden. Bei diesem Hotel war das absolut nicht der Fall!!!!

La camera poco funzionale, troppo stretta per 3 persone con bagagli. Il bagno era senza finestre e l'areatore di aspirazione non c'era o non funzionava. Ho dovuto farlo presente 2 volte perché la prima non mi hanno neanche considerata e la seconda c'era una dipendente che diceva che era normale ci fosse solo la grata in alto e nessuna aspirazione forzata... Poi quando ha visto che ho detto chiaramente che c'era puzza di fogna in tutta la camera , poco dopo mi hanno proposto il cambio camera ma mancava solo 1 giorno alla fine e non me la sentivo di spostare tutto . Avrei preferito una riparazione immediata nella camera in cui eravamo! Nessuna accoglienza se non la formalità del saluto per educazione! Soltanto un responsabile della piscina era veramente gentile... Troppa attenzione agli stranieri e zero a noi italiani ! Sinceramente per il costo che ho sostenuto mi aspettavo molto di più. Abbiamo cenato soltanto una volta lì nella struttura perché ciò che avevamo scelto non era buono : la pizza era una delle pronte probabilmente e non la napoletana che ci aspettavamo... Gli spaghetti alla carbonara senza guanciale, soltanto pezzetti di grasso , l'uovo cotto e il basilico ! Senza pepe! Le verdure grigliate crude e le carote troppo giganti... Abbiamo provato una volta e poi abbiamo preferito mangiare fuori per il resto del soggiorno.

Les draps n'ont jamais été changés et le sol n'a jamais été nettoyé (ni aspirateur ni serpillière) et pas de nettoyage sur le balcon non plus. La lunette des toilettes était cassée ! L'absence de rideaux occultants, les travaux et la circulation rendaient les réveils très matinaux.

A typical dated Italian hotel, lovely pool and rooftop terrace. What makes this hotel are the staff, Luigi the restaurant manager was so kind and always made sure my daughter had vegan options, which were she said some of the best she has had. We all enjoyed the food and many local dishes. The staff are friendly and professional and so hard working, nothing is too much trouble. This was our second visit and hopefully we will return.

Ciò nonostante, non ci sono state nemmeno omaggiate le due acque minerali (calde) che abbiamo consumato. Formiche in camera (più volte segnalate): sui pavimenti, in armadio, sui comodini e sul lavabo. Servizio di pulizia non soddisfacente. Personale poco professionale, non adeguato alla categoria ufficiale dell’hotel.

Stayed for a week at Villa Maria. Location is great and just a 5 minute walk into the main heart of sorrento with plenty and bars and restaurants nearby. Beach at Marina Grande is just 7/8 minute walk. Room is fairly basic and functional. Clean and no thrills. We had a balcony that overlooked other hotels and gave little privacy but there maybe other balcony’s that have better views. Roof terrace is nice with hot tub that overlooked Mount Vesuvius and the bay of Naples. Pool is adequate. Not huge but enough to have a dip and cool off. Website states it’s heated but I’m not sure it is. The sea was warmer to swim in. Plenty of sunbeds but I visited out of the main summer season so maybe different in July and August. Staff were friendly and happy to help to no complaints there. Drinks around the pool are more expensive than in the town. 8 Euros for a beer and 12 euros for a wine. You can get the same in town for 6 euros and 10 euros respectively. The big thumbs down is the food. Quite frankly it’s shockingly poor, bland and limited in choice. Breakfast is the usual bread, pastries, cereal, fruit and some cooked meats. I would say it’s tolerable at best. Evening meal had 3 options. Meat dish, sea food dish, and a vegetarian dish. We had two evening meals and both were really poor quality and not nice at all. Food in the town isn’t that expensive we decided to go out and not eat at the hotel. In summary, nice location and decent pool and fries to staff. The trade off is that drinks are more pricey and the food is rank!

Stayed 5 nights in Room 302, Bed & Breakfast. All the staff were very attentive and helpful across the board with nothing being too much trouble. Room was large with ample space for all of our luggage. Bathroom also a good size, both spotlessly clean and remained so with a full clean and fresh towels and linen daily. We had a balcony with a view over the apartments at the back. This didn’t bother us as we don’t spend too much time out there and, to be honest, I’d personally rather lose the sea view and have no road noise but that may not be the same for all. If you want a sea view, just go up to the spacious roof terrace of an evening. Breakfast was good with a broad choice and good coffee all in a nice dining room which is the same for the evening, albeit we didn’t use it as we ate out. Pool area is pleasant and has plenty of sunbeds and the pool bar is priced in line with local ones. We used it for a couple of lazy mornings and it’s perfect for that. A bit of road noise out there but that is a more than fair trade off for the hotels best asset - its location. Excellent restaurant 3 mins walk away. 5 mins walk and you are in town. 15 mins to Marina Grande and maybe 20 mins to the beach area. Even if you want to get a train the station is 20 mins walk or a 5 mins taxi. This hotel represents excellent value for money if you want to spend your days out and about and return to comfort and relaxation. If we ever return to Sorrento we will not hesitate to book again given its credentials across the board.

Ubicación excelente cerca de la peatonal donde hay mil negocios, bares y restaurantes. Tb es el camino para ir a Marina Piccola desde donde salen los ferry para ir a Positano, Amalfi y Capri. Excelente desayuno y barra de tragos y tb el primer piso con cena tardía.

Cero wifi. La habitación que nos tocó no llegaba internet. Te pedía autenticar cada vez y luego no funcionaba. Y primer partido del mundial pusieron show de música (criterio ausente)

This is a very friendly hotel in a great location. The restaurant is great - we had half board and there was plenty of choice of local food. We particularly enjoyed the pool bar - lovely to sit there in the sun with some beers. We would definitely stay here again

La verdad las únicas cosas por las que podría resaltar al hotel, es que está en pleno centro de Sorrento, permite desplazarse con facilidad y conocer con comodidad, los desayunos tuvieron muy buena calidad, no tuve inconformidad por la comida que nos ofrecieron.

Me parece terrible que estas plataformas como Booking, manejen una falsa publicidad, porque te ofrecen el servicio de parqueadero, pero cuando llegas al hotel con tu coche, te toca pagar más de 50 euros para poder dejarlo en el parqueadero, aparte las recepcionistas no son para anda amables, la habitación que nos tocó es muy vieja la cama muy incomoda, los baños no tienen buena higiene, no me volvería a quedar acá. Me incomodo demasiado la falsa publicidad que tienen.

The walls are very thin, you hear the people from the next room like they would be seating next to you, especially in the night. Shower needs proper refreshment. Coffee wasn’t the finest for breakfast.

Location excellent . Room 202 was fine other than shower over the bath a little difficult for two 70 years plus old getting in or out . Hotel was spotless everywhere. We were adjacent to the lift but never had any noise when it was in use or from adjacent rooms. Service was excellent from all the staff who all made the time to make our stay enjoyable. Restaurant staff friendly very efficient and food was always hot and a good standard. Would recommend to family and friends

1. 房间是阁楼，415房间。到了以后没有看到床上有被子。打开柜子才看到一个包裹在塑料袋子里的被子 ，当天晚上只好睡在被单里，上面盖了一个没有被套的被子。第二天反应了，一位叫juicy，（发音）的中年女性，右脸上有一块黑斑的女士竟然说因为天气热，根本不套被套，直接睡被单里!!! 而且态度就是爱理不理的消极，没有任何服务意识。实际上当晚被子就有被套了，可见，客人来之前这个房间根本没准备好!!! 其他的工作人员都很好，除了这位中年女性。 2.洗手池下水非常慢，刷牙洗脸水都下不去，堵在那里要5分钟才能下去，很恶心。对此我非常失望，这么贵的房间竟然这个水准。洗手池水龙头开关也费劲，要使大劲才能打开，老旧了。 3.房间是阁楼，窗户像船舱里的窗子，很小，而且很高。根本看不到外面。洗手间的窗户要脚踩马桶才能打开。 4.房间在4楼，电梯上到3楼再走楼梯，行李多的很麻烦1

First impressions of the hotel were very good when we arrived, a bright,clean reception area, we were checked in very quickly by the pleasant and efficient reception staff. Just what we needed after a one and a half hour bus transfer from the airport, and that after a one and a half hour queue at the airport to get through the new entry/ exit face recognition and fingerprint system, nightmare. We got our room key on the second floor(Despite my request for a high floor!) but we got to our room via a very slow rickety lift, and it was fine. We were at the front of the hotel and just had a view of the sea from our sizable balcony. The room was spotlessly clean, and was kept so all week, large double bed, safe, kettle, sufficient storage space, a little sparce on decor but you don't go on holiday to stay in the room all the time. We went for a drink at the pool bar, which wasn't busy, and wasn't all week, the pool is just about big enough for a swim and is heated, plenty of sunbeds if you wanted, they were never full. Dinner is taken in a large airy dining room, the staff there are so hard working, they never seem to stop, very efficient, very friendly. Dinner is a 3 course set affair(with a salad/ veg buffet to start with) with usually one meat, one fish and one veg option to chose from. Dessert was always either a cake, fresh fruit or ice cream. Not a huge choice but usually very good quality Please note drinks are extra with dinner and charged to your room. Breakfast is taken in the same room and is a buffet with breads,cakes, meats, cereals, yoghurt, croissants, and a range of cooked items bacon, beans, tomato, sausage, and eggs. All very good but the same fare every morning got a little monotonous. Again the dining room staff were excellent, very friendly and efficient. There is a rooftop terrace with sunbeds and a hot tub too with lovely views over Sorrento and across the Bay of Naples . It is a very easy 10 -15 mins stroll to the maze of little backstreet with their myriad of shops, cafes and restaurants. 20 mins walk gets you to the train station recommended for a trip to Naples or Pompeii. One downside of the hotel is that the rooms can be very noisy, the walls are quite thin and you can hear the next room, and more annoying is the scraping of chairs from rooms above, and even drawers opening snd shutting, so it can be a bit irritating. But on the whole this is a lovely little hotel, in a great location, kept spotlessly clean, the staff are very friendly helpful and efficient. The week we were there it wasn't too busy and there was never s problem getting round the pool if you wanted.

The shower gel was provided in small tubes, not a huge issue, bought shower gel down in the town. And we had to pay for water in the room, but again just bought that whilst out. Not a show stopper, just personal preference.

Gostamos da hospedagem, hotel típico com recepção prestativa e amaável. Novo quarto precisou de acesso com escada após o terceiro andar do elevador, mas sem problemas para nossa mobilidade com malas. Atendimento excelente no café da manhã, bem completo e saboroso. Excelente como hotel em cidade base para passeios na costa Amalfitana.

Good location

Het personeel, heel behulpzaam en vriendelijk! Happy hour, bij de barretjes was er altijd hele vriendelijke bediening.

El hotel en general está muy bien. El personal super atento y simpático. La piscina climatizada un inventazo sobre todo para los niños.

Lo mas incómodo fue el parking que es muy pequeño y hay que andar solicitando que quiten coches para poder sacar el tuyo.

The location is the property is good. Very beer to port and station walking distance. Also food drinks coffee shops available near by . Overall location was good.

The room facility was not good like it’s was very simple basic a simple bathroom with a lamp. There was no comfort beds, electric cattle etc… we feel like it’s very basic hotel or travel lounge.

It was in a location place to explore Sorrento with everything walking distance. They also had a private swimming pool

We slept really well the first night but for the other 3 there seemed to be some really loud guests which checked in and every night they made noise at about 11pm and 3-4am which meant I didnt sleep very well. The walls aren't sound proof. If the walls were sound proof then the property would be the most perfect property.

We have stayed in severahotels in Sorrento which are considered to be much better, and are also more expensive.This hotel is up there with and just as good in many ways. We chose this hotel due to location which is great. It is a fabulous hotel. Staff are very friendly and attentive. Rooms are fantastic. We stayed in a sea view room with a balcony which is definitely worth the upgrade. Breakfast was amazing with English breakfast and lovely pastries on offer plus fruit, yoghurts etc. There was a wide choice on offer. The pool restaurant is good at lunchtime and bar staff all very friendly and efficient.

El desayuno y personal espectacular. Es imposible dormir, las habitaciones son de cartón, se siente absolutamente todos los ruidos.

Sometimes the food for Breakfast was too little and staff knows that guests are waiting for more food, but the hotel did not provide enough food

El baño de la habitación no tenía para colgar las toallas, estuvimos 3 noches, no cambiaron las toallas en esos días y no teníamos donde ponerlas luego de bañarnos. La tele era un monitor de 14 pulgadas. Tampoco había perchas
