Our room smelled like it used to be a smoking room, but was just sprayed with a ton of sprays to cover it. Our key card also died after every single use. Kept being told it was demagnetizing but we carried it alone. So every time we left, had to go to front desk to re rent room

... the lady that was working the night shift refused to make fresh coffee after it was all gone. Instead she told me to wait until the breakfast buffet was going to be open. :-/ The jets on the whirlpool did not work.

The staff was amazing, the hotel accommodated our family of 5 without making us get a second room, the room was clean, the beds were comfortable, the breakfast was one of the best I've ever had (I stay in a lot of hotels), and the price was very reasonable! The location was also very close to Rad Torque Raceway, which is where we spent the evening. We didnt get a chance to use the pool but it looked great.

The only thing I didnt care for is our window was facing the pool so we had to keep our blinds closed but we weren't in the room much so very minor.

Wonderful staff. Always clean! The only place we stay when we come to Edmonton. Which is very frequent.

The power outlets in our room 159 were loose, when the cable to plug phone charger was plugged in, it wasn't fitting properly.

I really like that it was a relaxed family facility. Youth and kids were welcome and weren't made to feel like a nuisance. I loved that I could hear the kids playing in the pool right until it closed. The water slide was so much fun. The water was chilly the first day, warm the second. My guess was it was adjusted with the weather. Which is great. Staff were friendly. Everyone smiled and said hello. The food at Montana's was Montana's quality. The facility is even nicer than the photos.

That the pool was short on towels both time we went to the pool.

Getting a room in a hotel with a pool is always a gamble but there was quite a bit of noise from the pool even with the room being away from the pool area.

The property is aged and it’s not listed as a 5 star location BUT it should be! You get treated as if it were and the staff is ultra friendly and helpful. The entire hotel was incredibly clean as were the rooms which were also very comfortable.

What I didn’t like about the property is that I had to leave.

We went for a walk. It was quiet and no heavy traffic. Felt safe and peaceful. Loved the ribs at Montana's and the chocolate cake. Excellent recommendations from Cherry, our server. Breakfast was a good selection and a great start to the day.

Our bed smelled of urine. Had to move rooms because of it. Breakfast was horrible. Very basic and bland. No proper vegan options (no non-dairy milk or cereal on offer). Toast with jam or potatoes only.

The room was spacious, king bed and a window. Breakfast, well that was phenomenal, loved the hot breakfast, very nice atmosphere. Enjoyed the hot tub. We were in Room 201 which is in the back, so it was very nice and quiet.

1. No free bottled water in room, or available at front desk. Hotel store that apparently supplied it at cost had limited store hours. Consequently I had to leave the resort to purchase it at a convenience store nearby. 2. More pillow selection for added comfort ( provide more selection rather than 1 type eg. Softer & thinner) 3. Although quite spectacular looking given the building design & location adjacent to Montana’s restaurant, the hot tub & pool area is like a fishbowl and provides little to no privacy for hotel guests. Perhaps more suitable for young families with children.

Location. Restaurant in hotel, great breakfast. Appreciated they let us check in early because rooms were available. Appearance of hotel very appealing. Loved the water with the gold fish and that you could throw coins into water and make a wish, grandkids loved it. Front staff very friendly. Will stay again

The pillows can use an upgrade, we were in a pet friendly room. Our dog spilled his water on floor used towel to clean it up and after we wiped it up the towel was brown so lead me to believe the floors don’t get moped a lot

Lobby floor in the morning was very dirty, no one seemed to be in charge of making sure the mud was cleaned up.

The dedk staff were very courteous and helpful. The room was very clean. The shuttle came right on time. The driver helped us on with our bags and helped get them off. Very pleasant gentleman.

There is nothing we didn't like. Will be sure to stay there again. The bed was so comfortable, like sleeping on a cloud.

We had to leave for the airport before breakfast was available and arrived too late to enjoy the pool, but it looked so inviting. Definitely will stay there the next time I visit and will be sure to make time for the pool. The room was clean, inviting, and the bed was so comfortable. We had dinner at Montana's, one of our favourite restaurants so it was nice to have it within the facility. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The vending machine was broken and not fixed.

Very clean, room was a nice size & bed was comfortable. Check in was very easy, as was check out. 2 choices of places to dine at right onsite.

There was no communication about the facilities offered. No information about the pool hours- unless you went and read them on the door. The hot tub had no jets that worked. No information given on the ice machine locations etc. The carpet in our room was frayed and ripped, the toilet seat was crooked- yes a small inconvenience but when you’re paying close to $200 a night we expected a bit more.

Very dark rooms. No natural light. Stained saggy ceiling tiles. Small bathroom. Poor lighting. Very poor air conditioning with extremely loud fan that cut in and out when set to run continuously and then with long periods where it stopped working and the room got hot super hot. We barely slept.

It was close to the airport with shuttle service which was convenient.

Walls were too thin because I could hear the next room talking, shower had no door so water got everywhere, room temperature couldn’t be adjusted and pillows were terrible.

We used a cot and the cot was uncomfortable. Could feel where the bars were and the springs were loose or something. Couldn't lay straight. Maybe look into different kind of cots or maybe change the mattress?

I like that we had a shuttle

Customers leaving their big dogs in their room, then leaving for hours, while the poor things barked the whole time. Zero sound barrier. Kids screaming, adults shouting. I could also hear the pool.

Had to get a room due to flight cancellation. Booked on line and front desk couldn't find reservation. The young man gave me the rate as on the online ad so I suspect it was going to be considerably higher. The average, on phone that night, was $380

I liked the location and the restaurant on site

It was so loud - kids running around until almost midnight. Our room had only a window facing an open courtyard where kids would play mini sticks, soccer etc…..at all hours. Just people walking by our room was loud - much louder than a normal hotel hallway. If I stayed there again, I would ask to be located no where near the pool or this courtyard. I also didn’t like our shower - it had no water pressure at all. And I would have much preferred to have had a tub/shower combo

Breakfast lacks options, go early if you want to avoid long line-ups and empty trays. Montanas for dinner is not worth of money, you’ll likely get a free dessert because they either overcook your steak, or miss your order altogether.

The breakfast offered inside of Montana's was excellent! To us, a hotel is for sleeping so comfortable beds & pillows are a must, and this hotel had both. The free shuttle to and from the airport as well as a designated parking lot for longer stays was all great.

It's a little loud if your room is on the inside ring closest to the pool/lobby area. I would definitely be asking for a room on the outer edge next time for quality of sleep for myself and my young kids.
