Great location, lovely staff and pool, great breakfast

El hotel estaba genial, las habitaciones muy espaciosas y con balcón con vistas al mar. Cabe destacar lo serviciales y amables que era el personal al completo, siempre sonrientes y con ganas de ayudar.

No hay nada que no nos haya gustado.

Der Aufenthalt im Beach Mirissa war wunderschön, vom Empfang bis zum Abschied. Der Service war perfekt. Das Frühstück ein Traum und der Zugang zu Strand und Meer direkt von der Frühstücksterrasse. Alle Mitarbeiter haben unseren Aufenthalt mit ihrer Freundlichkeit und ihrem Servise perfekt gemacht.

Morgenmaden var rigtig fin og god. Men tænker at efter 4-5 dage vil det nok blive lidt ensformigt.

Beste Unterkunft in unserem Sri Lanka Urlaub. Wir waren hier in der Nebensaison, deshalb war es ziemlich ruhig. Die Zimmer sind gut ausgestattet, groß und sauber. Der Blick vom Balkon ist der Hammer! Das Personal und die Eigentümer sind sehr nett. Das Frühstück wird beim Pool jeden Tag frisch serviert und ist auch sehr lecker. Der Strand ist 10m entfernt und dort sieht man super schöne Sonnenuntergänge. Kommen gerne wieder!

The staff and the host were super kind and made us feel at home. The hotel is in front of a beautiful and safe beach. It is also close to the main beaches and attractions in Mirissa. The breakfast was very tasty. Overall a perfect hotel.

We loved the location. Between Coconut Hill and Parrot Island. Very convenient to walk along the beach to a selection of excellent restaurants from the hotel. Amazing view from our balcony. We enjoyed using the sunbeds and pool. Very nice breakfast.

We had such a nice stay in this hotel. I would specially highlight the staff at the hotel. Honorine at the front desk was really friendly and helpful answering all our questions. Everyone working there is really attentive and nice. The hotel is located on the beach, it has a really nice swimming pool and beautiful views from the room.

Der Aufenthalt in BeachMirissa war einfach wunderbar. Die Inhaber sind sehr freundlich, herzlich und hilfsbereit, und auch die Angestellten waren jederzeit äußerst zuvorkommend und aufmerksam. Man fühlt sich hier sofort willkommen und gut aufgehoben. Die gesamte Unterkunft ist sehr sauber und gepflegt. Besonders positiv fanden wir den täglichen Zimmerservice: Die Zimmer wurden jeden Tag gründlich gereinigt, die Betten gemacht und der Boden gewischt. Alles war stets ordentlich und hygienisch. Das Frühstück war lecker und reichhaltig. Auch bei der Organisation von Ausflügen, beim weiteren Transfer und bei allen anderen Fragen wurden wir jederzeit bestens unterstützt und kompetent beraten. Herzlichen Dank 🙏

Amazing location - Beachfront. Hospitality was top notch! The entire family and their staff is so sweet, humble and welcoming. They served the best breakfast with some amazing coffee! Everything is at a walking distance from the property. Stay was cozy too. We’ll recommend this place to everyone!

Hotel pequeño de detalles bien cuidados con acceso a la playa, muy limpio, muy buen desayuno, camas cómodas, buena ducha y personal muy amable y atento. Muy recomendable.

La verdad es que todo estuvo muy bien.

Las habitaciones eran grandes y espaciosas, el baño también. Las camas comodísimas y las sábanas muy suaves. El desayuno es excepcional, pudiendo elegir como quieres los huevos. La piscina es un puntazo. Pero por si eso fuera poco, el personal es increible. Todos los trabajadores son encantadores y los dueños son majísimos, siempre pendientes de que todo estuviese bien y siempre queriendo ayudar. Hablan inglés fenomenal asi que la comunicación es facilísima. Éramos un grupo grande, lo cual nunca es fácil, pero ellos hicieron que nuestra estancia fuera perfecta. Volveríamos sin dudarlo.

The hotel is in a great location in Mirissa between Coconut Hill and the main beach and bars. The pool is lovely and the breakfast is made fresh just for you. All of the staff work so hard there and it’s clear a lot of love has gone into the hotel. Great value for money!

Everything was perfect, Lalith and Honorine are very nice as well as everyone in the staff. They were very helpful and professional to organise the programs and order dinners. The place is beautiful, comfortable, the pool is great, breakfast is great. Highly recommended

We had a wonderful stay at BeachMirissa Hotel in Mirissa and would recommend it 100% to anyone visiting! The rooms were spacious and incredibly comfortable. One of our favorite features was the large balcony, which offered beautiful views and was the perfect place to relax. the daily housekeeping and the best part was just how clean the place was, and returning to a perfectly fresh room every single day felt amazing. They were also incredibly accommodating and provided a great crib for our little one. Breakfast was delicious, and they happily made us Sri Lankan food upon request. The facilities were equally impressive; the swimming pool was really huge, sparkling clean, and incredibly kid-friendly. What truly made our stay special, though, was the top-notch hospitality. The staff were incredibly friendly, helpful, and attentive from the moment we arrived, even taking the time to give us great local recommendations for nearby food spots and fantastic spas. They truly care about the little things. On our checkout day, they even packed us food to go because we had an early flight. Overall, this was an outstanding hotel experience.

First of all, the property is in a beautiful location in Mirissa. You can reach restaurants and beaches on foot. We also loved the sea view from the room. The staff were very friendly and attentive. I highly recommend it.

We had a great stay at this hotel and really appreciated how kind and welcoming the owners and staff were.They were friendly, helpful, and always happy to assist with transportation, local tips, or anything else we needed. The breakfast was delicious and a great way to start each day. The hotel location is excellent, within walking distance to Mirissa's attractions and cafes. The beach directly in front of the hotel is also safer for swimming than many other areas in Mirissa, especially when the waves are strong. A special thanks for being so flexible and generous on our departure day—it made our travel plans much easier and more comfortable. We felt at home throughout our stay and would definitely recommend.

We loved it all - the location , our own little end of the beach which was 50 metres away , the pool , the view from each room ,and lastly , the staff were amazing , so helpful .

Breakfast was utter disappointment as they were only serving srilankan food that too kinda main meal which we had in the dinner, they shouldn’t be charging so much for that. Secondly no basic amenities were available like dental kit and water flow in the shower was so slow that it wasted too much time , not worth the money they are charging.

Very nice hotel. Such sweet people who wanted to help us with everything. Beautiful beaches nearby, but Turtle Beach is right in front of the hotel. We could also enjoy a lovely swim there and see turtles underwater. There are also countless restaurants within walking distance. We stayed here for 3 nights, but would like to stay longer.

The Hotel is located between the Parrot Island and the Coconut Tree Hill, the two "landmarks" of Mirissa. They had a good access to the Beach (and their own beach beds) as well as a pool with aview of the ocean. All the rooms had a balcony with a beautiful view of the Ocean, especially nice during a sunset. They were air conditioned, very comfortable and spacious. Everything was setup to a very high standard, quite thoughtout. The breakfast was amazing (with fresh fruits, toasts, eggs, jam, butter, tea/coffee), served by a smiling staff member. The owner was very welcoming and the adorable doggo at the reception was just heart warming! It was located at a walking distance to both landmarks and the town-center of Mirissa (including nice restaurants and bars). There was also parking space inside the hotel.

Nothing against the hotel. There was a surfing school/fisherman's hut and a pub/bar sharing the beach access area (since this is a public beach). They sometimes gave a certain vibe that could be uncomfortable to some. Again, this is not on the Hotel, but has to do with the tourism driven activities in the area.

Great location! The view! Very welcoming hosts and staff! Great pool and a straight exit to the beach. Very close to many great restaurants, beach bars! On the one side Parrot rock on the other Coconut hill! Couldn’t have asked for more. AC in the room.

BeachMirissa is in a great location, direct access to the beach and a short walk to “must see” locations such as coconut hill and turtle beach. The rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable with a great view over the sea. The family who run the business are amazing, so accommodating, helpful and always checking in to make sure you’re having a good stay - the beautiful dog is an added bonus! The staff were also phenomenal, breakfast each morning was lovely and they remembered small details such as food and drink preferences , I’d definitely recommend the Sri Lankan breakfast! We loved it so much we booked to come back in December!

Kleines familiengeführtes Hotel mit 10 Zimmern, alle sehr nett, schöner Pool (sehr warm), eigener kleiner Strandbereich mit eigenen Liegen und Auflagen, das Zimmer (angegeben bei Booking.com mit 19 m²) war deutlich größer, viele Restaurants sind fußläufig erreichbar, das Frühstück wurde serviert, war gut, aber lediglich Standard

Den Preis (wir haben 120 € pro Nacht bezahlt) fanden wir schon sehr hoch

Het uitzicht

Ik schrijf normaal gesproken geen negatieve reviews, maar in dit geval wil ik toch een eerlijke en gebalanceerde ervaring delen. De locatie van het hotel is echt top en het uitzicht is prachtig, wat zeker een groot pluspunt is. Helaas doet de accommodatie zelf daar niet helemaal recht aan. Het geheel voelt wat verouderd en op meerdere plekken zou onderhoud en betere schoonmaak welkom zijn. De sfeer in het hotel was voor ons niet helemaal prettig. Ook viel het op dat de eigenaren veel aanwezig waren in het restaurantgedeelte en hun personeel niet altijd even respectvol leken te behandelen, wat een wat ongemakkelijk gevoel gaf. Het personeel werkte heel hard en deed alles om iedereen op z'n gemak te laten voelen. Uitchecken om 8.30 uur leek niet mogelijk. Het personeel moest de eigenaren bellen en die bleken nog in bed te liggen. Daarnaast was er een probleem met de kamer: bij aankomst hing er een sterke chemische geur. Na ventileren leek dit minder, maar het kwam weer terug. Uiteindelijk bleek dat er een geurblok was geplaatst om de geur te maskeren van de schimmel, wat voor irritatie aan keel en longen zorgde. Dat vonden wij niet passend voor een hotelkamer. Al met al heeft deze plek zeker potentie dankzij de mooie ligging, maar er is wel wat aandacht nodig voor onderhoud en comfort om het verblijf echt prettig te maken.

Good location, cozy, decent breakfast

While the stay was comfortable overall, it didn’t fully meet expectations. The pool is quite small, and the photos appear more flattering than the actual setup. Service was polite but could be more professional and attentive. Overall, it didn’t feel like the best value for the price, though it may suit those with simpler expectations.

I loved absolutely everything about this gorgeous place. Location is excellent, directs access to the beach, very clean, beautiful pool if you don't feel like hanging at the beach, lovely breakfast and... the staff. It's a family run hotel and you can feel it every second of your stay. Everyone is so friendly, helpful, nice and professional. I will definitely be back! Thank you so so so much for having me ✨️

BeachMirissa was a perfect stay. The hosts were so lovely and accommodating, the breakfast was great and plentiful and the rooms spacious, clean and comfortable. Such a great location for exploring Mirissa and also chilling by the beach or on the balcony with a beautiful view. I'll definitely be back and recommending to anyone visiting!

L'accueil des propriétaires très chaleureux. Chambres confortables. La plage plus ou moins privé de l'hôtel est moyenne pas assez de place pour les transats. Certains hôtes envahissent les lieux du bar d'à coté, la plage est moche est pas propre.

Fantastic accommodation! Beautiful views from the balcony. Pool is great for the afternoon to cool off in. Easy to walk to local restaurants and turtles around the corner. Owners were always present and looked after us and our 9 month old. Will definitely return again!

The facilities were great - a clean pool right by the hotel, chairs on the beach which was just a few steps away. The breakfast was one of the best we've had in Sri Lanka. The hosts and staff were very kind and welcoming. When the war in the Middle East broke out, they helped us a lot with the practicalities of flights and Indian visum. Without their help, the process would have been very very difficult.

Location, food and most of all the hosts. Wonderful family run hotel. The service was above and beyond. I can’t recommend this hotel high enough. We will definitely return.

Popolna nastanitev ob plaži, z lastnimi ležalniki. Osebje je zelo prijazno in ustrežljivo. Tam sva bivala 3 dni. In vse je bilo super. Brezplačno si lahko izposodite tudi opremo za snorkljanje.

Tout était parfait. La vue est très belle sur la plage. Le personnel est très gentil et serviable. On a le droit d’utiliser des transats sur la plage qui appartiennent à l’hôtel. Il y a une belle piscine. Le petit-déjeuner était excellent, surtout les omelettes. La chambre est spacieuse, propre et agréable.

Świetne położenie obiektu tuż przy plaży. Usytuowanie pomiędzy Parrot Hill a Coconut Hill - obie atrakcje w zasięgu spaceru. Parę kroków do Turtle Beach, gdzie można zobaczyć żółwie. Bardzo dobre śniadania ze świetną obsługą. Cały personel hotelu zasługuje na pochwałę! Cisza w pokojach, ładny relaksujący widok z okna na ocean.

Lovely location with large baicony looking out to sea. Great position right on the beach, offering a choice of sunbeds by the large pool or on the beach itself. Lovely walk by the sea into the centre of Marissa. Rooms very large and comfortable, with fridge and tea making facilities. Breakfast excellent, with delicious fruit plate and a choice of egg dishes. Owners absolutely charming and very helpful. Would recommend.

Exceptional Stay at Beach Mirissa The hotel is truly the best place we’ve ever stayed in Sri Lanka. It’s not just a hotel—it’s genuine hospitality, kindness, and care. The hotel is in a fabulous position on the beach and close to amenities. The owners and staff are fabulous, nothing is any trouble. They are always happy to help. Some reviews mention volcanic sand and older furniture. Do not let this put you off. There is road noise but I don't know where in Mirissa wouldn't have it

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel sehr genossen. Die Lage direkt an einem wunderschönen Strand ist einfach traumhaft, und in der Umgebung – auch direkt am Strand – gibt es tolle Restaurants. Unser Zimmer war sehr schön eingerichtet, gut ausgestattet und sehr sauber. Besonders der Blick aufs Meer hat uns begeistert, vor allem bei Sonnenuntergang. Was unseren Aufenthalt aber besonders gemacht hat, war das unglaublich freundliche und zuvorkommende Personal – wir haben uns jederzeit willkommen gefühlt. Auch das Frühstück war jeden Morgen ein Highlight: frisch, reichhaltig und immer mit einer kleinen Abwechslung.

The fact they asked me to cancel our reservation on the day we were supposed to be arriving. We subsequently had to book another hotel on such short notice and on a busy Saturday. The room we booked was relisted on Booking.com

We were highly satisfied with BeachMirissa. It clearly exceeded expectations based on our pre trip research of this hotel and others. Our room was clean and comfortable with a large balcony overlooking the pool area with nice views of the beach and ocean. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was excellent.

We have no complaints but will note that the beach is wider and nicer as you walk west to the other side of Coconut Hill. Seems the sand is quite different. Again, not a biggie and we'll also note a couple good restaurants are on the beach very close to the hotel.
