I found the staff to be unwelcoming, no hi or goodbye or hope you enjoyed your stay with us. Being Canadian we look for friendliness at hotels and restaurants. Also you need an ice machine

Reviewed Sep 5, 2026The hotel’s location was excellent and very convenient. The hotel has a parking lot, but it only has eight spaces, so we were unable to find a parking spot on several occasions.
The staff were very kind and welcoming throughout our stay. Unfortunately, the room we received was very small and quite different from what we expected based on the photos and the reservation we made. We noticed that other rooms in the same room category as ours were more spacious and comfortable. The bed was very small, and the room had no window that provided fresh air, as the only window faced an enclosed interior area of the hotel. Unfortunately, it was not possible to move us to a different room because the hotel was fully booked.

Reviewed Sep 2, 2026Ci siamo trovati molto bene! La posizione è ottima: in 5 minuti a piedi si raggiungono facilmente il centro, bar e ristoranti. Molto comodo anche il parcheggio riservato dell’hotel, gratuito e proprio accanto alla struttura, cosa che abbiamo apprezzato tantissimo. La colazione, seppur con una scelta non ampissima, è più che sufficiente e offre sia opzioni dolci che salate. Presenti anche macchina del caffè, una selezione di tè, succhi e acqua. Infine, letto grande e molto comodo. Nel complesso, un soggiorno piacevole! Consigliato!

Reviewed Aug 31, 2026The position of the hotel is ideal. The staff was kind and helpful. Didn't have breakfast as we had an early flight, we were able to have a coffee before leaving.
The hotel has it's years... you notice it immediatly from the furniture and other details, especially once you get in the room and bathroom. The mattress was really small.

Parking gratuito en el alojamiento, no se puede reservar pero pudimos aparcar todos los días menos uno. Ropa de cama y toallas muy nuevas y cómodas. A menos de 5 minutos del centro andando, con todos los servicios farmacias, restaurantes, supermercados...
Habitaciones que necesitan unos pequeños arreglos, se nota que tiene unos años.

Reviewed Aug 27, 2026das frühstück war solide bis gut. leider gab es nicht allzu viel früchte aus der region. das zimmer war basic, aber sauber und hatte alles, was man für einen aufenthalt benötigt.
das zimmer hatte nur ein sehr einsichtiges fenster zum lichthof, nicht nach außen. der parkplatz war ständig belegt, man musste etwas weiter entfernt parken. das hotel verfügt über keinen außenbereich (terrasse, balkon, etc.), wo man etwas zeit verbringen könnte.

Està molt ben situat, al centre de Ponta Delgada, al centre de l'illa, ideal per arribar ràpidament a qualsevol punt.Té un aparcament petit, però si tornes aviat encara hi trobes lloc. I és de franc.

Reviewed Aug 16, 2026I liked the friendly reception and breakfast staff, the spacious room, with a large window, which I could open completely. I would put my chair before the safety rail , look down on the street below and it felt like I had a balcony. At night there was lovely quiet air conditioning, which meant I slept well. The bed was large and comfortable. Everything was spotlessly clean. The breakfast was lovely, with plenty of choice. The hotel is in the city centre, so close to everything. The street is very narrow , but at the top of the street is the beautiful Largo do Colégio church ( see photo) where minibus tours will do pick up. There is also a fantastic ice cream shop at the top of the street (see photo).

Reviewed Jul 17, 2026הכל מושלם. מיקום מעולה. נוחות מדהימה. הכל נקי ונוצץ. ארוחת הבוקר מצויינת גם לישראלים. הגענו בערב והתקבלנו בסבר פנים יפות. נציג הקבלה אפילו פינה עבורנו את מקום החניה שלו כדי שנוכל להתאכסן במהירות. הכל היה מעל המצופה. ציפינו למלון 3 כוכבים והרגשנו יותר. המיטות נוחות העיצוב נעים. בחדר הטריפל כל המיטות זהות ברמה גבוהה - יותר טוב מהרבה מלונות עם דירוג גבוה יותר שבהם המיטה השלישית גרועה. לא מצאנו פגם. אפילו קיבלנו משקה קבלת פנים.
הכל היה מושלם. אירוח עשר מעשר.

Śniadania, choć codziennie dość podobne, były smaczne i przygotowane z dobrych produktów. Największym atutem jest spokojna atmosfera oraz bardzo miła i pomocna obsługa.

Reviewed Jul 11, 2026The location is amazing for getting around, I walked to the botanical gardens, down to the main town and the pier with the military museaum, into the old church nearby and back to the hotel and it took only the morning and early afternoon including spending ample time in each place to read about everything, stop by the abracadabra ice cream store which is not only super cheap but has amazing flavors too, the sweet wine is amazing, theres plenty of gift stores and again its all very reasonably priced.
The view, the only thing about the hotel is the views arent great and the window in the room I was in was kinda broken, after some fiddling I got it open and able to close again but it was not secured to the window, everything else is great, thats why its a great place to be.

Reviewed Jul 7, 2026It was clean and front desk staff were very helpful as our plane had been canceled and they knew about these problems. I appreciate front desk staff! There was a lovely tub in our room which help with destressing. Unfortunately we didn’t get to enjoy the breakfast as we had to go to the plane early.
I expected the older Portuguese style so was a bit disappointed with the modern styling and the circular entry door in particular.

The staff were kinda rude on day 1. We arrived around 7am to leave our bags and asked if we could possibly check in any earlier than 3pm and they just kept repeating no. We noticed on multiple days the cleaners were done by 12 at the latest so I just think it was poor service to claim that 3pm is the only option, especially since we arrived so early. The two women on the first day had such bad attitudes towards us and we went back a few times to take things from our luggage/get changed and they also assumed we were staying in the hostel instead of the hotel which was a bit weird. The staff on day 2 were much nicer at least!

Ну очень много людей на завтраке. Не хватает мест за столами, сесть негде

A volte ho fatto fatica a comunicare con lo staff perché non capiva bene l'inglese. Il caffè/cappuccino a colazione sono inclassificabili, ma il buffet è molto vario.

Reviewed Jun 25, 2026Świetny hotel w centrum miasta, bardzo wygodne pokoje, czysto, miło. Bardzo dobre, choć powtarzalne śniadania, zwykle dostępny parking hotelowy bez dodatkowych opłat (w razie braku nocne parkowanie przy ulicach jest bezpłatne). Cenowo umiarkowanie.
Nie do końca jasne zasady sprzątania - jednego dnia na błysk, innego ledwo opróżniono kubły na śmieci. Korzystne byłoby więcej warzyw na śniadanie, choć na Azorach nie zawsze o nie łatwo.

Reviewed Jun 25, 2026Das Zimmer war schön groß und das Bett super bequem. Die Lage ist fantastisch, man ist zu Fuß sehr schnell in der Innenstadt und man erreicht den Flughafen mit dem Auto/Taxi innerhalb von 10 min. Das Personal war freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück war gut, für jeden etwas dabei. Trotz meiner zusätzlichen Negativen Anmerkung sehr zu empfehlen.
Das Zimmer war seeehr hellhörig. Zudem hatte ich sehr laute Nachbarn die sowohl auf dem Flur als auch auf dem Zimmer geschrien haben. Hätte ich deren Sprache verstanden, hätte ich mit diskutieren können. (Natürlich ist das Hotel nicht verantwortlich für das Verhalten der Hotelgäste). Dennoch konnte man sogar hören wenn diese duschen. Das sollte man beachten wenn man dort ein Zimmer nimmt.
