The location is perfect and the beach was nice. The view of the beach from the room was nice. I like the room service making sure we had fresh towels was right on time.

I think the place needs pressure washing the dirty air conditioners on the outside the windows needs cleaning real good. On the back side of the resort you can see mold due on the balconies and it looks unclean. I was a manager of a hotel and I seen a lot of things...pressure washing everything or have someone to clean the air condition outside of rooms for a nice clean feeling. The pictures on the website looks totally different. Other than that I would stay again. Hospitality was great.

We discover Beachcombers last year and we love it. So this year me and my husband came back for our anniversary and once again very please. We call it our beach location apartment.

Only one young lady up front that worked that evening/night we first got there. She was not pleasant, however everyone else was.

I couldn't keep the room temperature regulated well enough, but I have hot flashes, so it could just be me. Lol. It has a kitchenette, but not enough equipment for cooking.

Miss Kathy with a K was the most sweetest person that I have one of the most sincere godly woman I mean she was the best she made my trip good she made me stay good and I recommend that you come early in the morning from 7 to 3 before Miss, Miss Kathy The next thing I loved about this hotel was Gabrielle. Gabriel was a young smart girl and she had charisma and she made my state pleasant and she was a great girl. Nice, friendly, great smile, great personality all right this hotel team only because of the customer service and the customer service I got even though housekeepers were nice. The customer the customer service that I receive was a 10+ and I recommend anyone and I can’t wait to get back next year.

Well, the facility was clean. The housekeeping was good on the beach and customer service was good and all the people who work from first third first second third shift I got to know all of them and I think they were all very very good.

It offers good value for money. The hotel was clean, the elevators worked without issues, and luggage carts were available. Check-in and check-out were very fast. Parking is available either at the hotel or in a lot across the street (free of charge), and there is direct access to the beach. The bar has a nice atmosphere (though we didn't order anything there), and the hotel offers free ice and coffee—I love that. The room was spacious, well-lit, and air-conditioned; the 5th-floor room offered a great view of the Gulf, just as promised. The amenities are a bit dated but functional, and the plastic chairs on the balcony were clean. There were plenty of clean towels and sheets, and the kitchen was clean.

The pool lacks lighting at night —it is really dim—so that is something that should be improved in the short term.

Completely filthy. Wasn't cleaned from previous visitors. The elevator box is a joke, you have to push buttons on both elevators to get just 1 to work. Pieces falling apart on elevator and in the room. Needs a serious remodel. Please don't go by the pictures from their page. Very deceiving. It's nothing like what I thought I was reserving. We will never return here.

The price doesn't match the hotel's quality; upon arrival, the room was dirty—the bathroom floor was stained, the shower was dripping, the mattresses were misshapen, and the cups were unclean. The noise from the A/C at night was loud ( needs new A/C), the parking lot is not sufficient for all the people and we have to park almost every day , across the street , which was no light at all so dark , that you need a flashlight !!!

#1 THE TIKI BAR-The bartender APRIL made our visit absolutely fantastic. She had amazing vibes and alway had a smile and good attitude. #2 LOCATION- Right on the beach. Cant get better than that. THE SAND BAR and WHISKEYS are walking distance bars. If you don’t want to drive, very easy walk to Pier Park sober. Then $10 Uber back. The staff were great. Very easy to talk to and check in and check out were so easy. FILL REGISTRATION BEFORE YOU GET THERE. Makes it so much easier.

It’s an older building. Can’t expect it to be absolutely perfect. For the price and the location its beats a lot of the other hotels. The roof and walls are a little scuffed🤷‍♂️

It was shitty from get go i arrived at 4 pm checked in got to my room stayed locked out over 1 hour in heat because the keypad didn't work mind you I still at to check out at 10 the shower didn't work if we left the room had to get maintenance to open the door it was my birthday and such a freaking waste of money time and my patience not to mention the lady at front desk was very rude I went up and down them steps to keep getting key cards that didn't work not even a sorry I used to visit this hotel often but never again will I waste my time and please booking never suggest this to me again

Location is great on the outskirts avoiding too much of the crowds by pier drive but close enough it’s convenient. Food within walking distance was also great. Staff was very friendly and attentive.

It needs maintenance… you can tell that hotel needs work.. we had to call maintenance to unclog the bathroom sink and the smell out of there was disgusting. Kitchen stove is not electric so you can see the age and use of it. We had to ask for broom a Same day of arrival before visiting beach because the floor was dirty you can feel everything on it when you were barefoot. Beds were not comfortable old spring mattresses that should be replaced. You can see a lot of the patch work on the walls. The building needs a lot of work period.

Really nice hotel. Great facilities, plenty of parking. Nice little beach bar by the pool. Our room was large enough, and had a nice balcony overlooking the Gulf coast. The bathroom was dated but it was adequate.

I am not sure how often room service came to clean if at all, but because of the nature of the area (sandy) it was obvious that the floors had not been cleaned. Not a huge issue but notable.

I also didn't like that they close the beach gates at 8 pm and the pool and then the tiki bar closed at 7 so there wouldn't have been anything to do other than sit in that filthy stinking room so we left!!! We stayed at a Hampton off the beach just to get sleep!! I deserve a refund

LOCATION: The Hotel is close to stores and restaurants. We enjoyed the view, being right on the beach, the pool, and the outdoor bar and grill.

This is a pet-friendly hotel, and you must request a "Pet Free Room' Upon check- in, our room smelled like wet dog and pet urine. Some of the children have severe allergies, - so we requested to be moved into a pet-free room. We specifically requested this on reservation, but it was overlooked, and there was hesitancy in accommodating our needs. After relocation, we enjoyed our stay and the beach. The hotel is still under renovation and updating amenities.

The beds are very uncomfortable. The springs were poking into my back. I will not stay here again for that reason only. The vending machine did not work either. The website showed that they severe breakfast but they do not.

I didn't have breakfast, who wants to go off and stay at a roach hotel and your room is not cleaned well at all and the kitchen cabinets are falling off?

I didn't like anything about my room, I had to end my stay early, and find another hotel to stay at, I came to celebrate my birthday, and thinking the hotel was like the pictures I seen .

I liked the Tiki Bar being open and able to walk away with drinks. I liked the view of the ocean and the kindness at the front desk. The coffee station was also very clean and adequately stocked.

The elevators were slow and crowded. The carts to take your stuff up to the rooms are very limited, people fight over them, and even when you get one they’re in really bad shape. My pillow had a blood stain on it when we first got there which tells me they didn’t change our sheets before we checked in. The pool needs to be open later or allow it to be 24/7 swim at your own risk. People are paying for these facilities and you close it when we mostly want to use it. People beach in the day time and swim in the pool at night!!!

I loved the location. Not much traffic. And the staff was excellent.

The first room we were put in had bugs. I do not do roaches. And not cleaned. Needed a lot of cleaning and updating. Now the second room was a lot better. All but the sofa bed. Seems like the springs are broken and woke up with a soar back every morning. But other than that it was ok.

We were supposed to stay at this hotel but ended up leaving before we were even in a room. When we first got there, it was around 930-10 am. The parking lot is public, so you either park in front of the building or across the street. Obviously, we knew a room wasn't going to be ready. We decided to go swimming. The pool was visibly dirty. It had sand in the bottom of it, it looks oily from hair and lotions. The pool had just opened. There is no reason for it to be this dirty. We received a call to check in around 1pm. We got the card to our room. It was all the way at the top, which is fine. They have an elevator. My husband and I were hot and tired from the long drive in. We packed all of our stuff up to the room. The door wouldn't open. The card reader seemed dead or not connected to our key. My husband went to downstairs to have it fixed. The lady at the front desk gave him attitude. She was talking about she's been there for 22 years and knows how to program a key. He came back upstairs. Still not working. The light on the card reader wasn't lighting up or making any noise. At this point, we both went back downstairs. He asked for a different room. She gave him a key for another room. I stayed in the lobby with my kids while he went up to look at it. While we waited, there were several other people coming to the lobby because their keys suddenly stopped working. He came back down and said that the room smelled like mildew and Lysol. The couch cushions were in bad shape and room was just gross. We spoke to the GM, she agreed to give us a full refund.

The air conditioner was awful did not cool good and one bed was fine the other bed had a different mattress and it was thin and awful not comfortable at all. And need to put a mat in the shower so people won’t slip and fall.

Great atay for the price.

The mattresses need replacing. We felt every coil in the mattresses with every turn. To look at them they appeared strong and firm. But to sit or lay on them, the coils collapse completely down to the boxsprings.

Bed was very uncomfortable, lots of minor issues with peeling paint, maintenance, etc. Parking was a bit of a hassle. Due to sand being everywhere, if housekeeping will not be sweeping, it would be helpful if a broom were provided. My understanding was housekeeping would come wvery 3 days, so When I asked about exchanging for fresh towels, housekeeping manager was rude, saying I had also asked the morning before and they would be bringing towels, however we had only arrived the previous night and I had made no prior contact. They did do daily housekeeping to bring towels and change the trash.

Bathroom had mold, sheets were stained, beds had sand and hair in them, floors made feet black, stove top only had 3 of 4 burners working, patio door couldn't get to lock. No help from staff was given. Pictures online show the rooms well kept and clean but once in the room its clear thats not the case. The paint was peeling due to painting over old peeling paint, rust, bedframes clearly too big for beds in room.

Loved the location. You can walk right to the beach. The view from the balcony was great. We were allowed to check in early without extra charges.

1. The kitchen did not have good dishes to cook with; the handles to the pots and pans would get so hot that it caused the hand to burn. Had to use a small towel to handle the pots and pans. 2. There were only 3 plates, 1 cup, and 1 glass for our family of 5. The spoons and forks were bent. The coffee maker didn't work properly. 3. We went to ask for a small broom so we could sweep up the sand on the floor in our room and we were told the cleaning people would take care of it. Although it was appreciated, it was an inconvenience not to have one in the room for night hours or when the floor was not completely swept. 4. The bartender was not a friendly person. 5. They had two washers and dryers for the entire place, and one of the dryers was broken during our stay. This made trying to wash or dry clothes extremely inconvenient. 6. The hot-tube was not working.

Parking to check-in was difficult. Loading and unloading all must be done in the portico(overhang) along with everyone coming or going UNLESS you were lucky enough to get a spot right in the front of the hotel which was very hard to do. So most of the time we had to park across the street. That was not too bad if you were not checking in/out. There is a pedestrian crosswalk right there. Rooms, building, elevators, beds, and grounds were clean. Room could use a few upgrades and a paint job but still ok. Biggest complaint is the access to the beach. Only way down to the beach was through the pool area. To get to said pool area, large set of steep stairs! Then head past pool to gate where there was yet another set of steep stairs. Pulling a loaded wagon was awful!!! Once on the beach, chairs and umbrellas that you have to rent, of course get the premium spots. Pool on the small size and of course fills up quickly with unsupervised children being children. Hot tub small and filled with said children and no bubbles or jets, just hot water.

Das Hotel ist total runter gekommen. Das Klo war verstopft, es lagen Haare von fremden Menschen auf Klo. Überall Sand an den Betten. Die Küche haben wir nicht benutzt da ecklige Spritzer dran waren. Holz schon abgefallen ist. Auf dem Balkon ist alles abgeplatzt. Das Fenster ist einfach so Dreckig das man das Meer kaum sieht. Ich könnte noch mehr ausholen aber das reicht denke ich, jeder hat auch seinen eignen Standart aber selbst der Strand hat es für mich nicht weg gemacht. 77 Doller für das Parken für 1 Nacht. Das ganze kam uns über 300 Doller und war von allen einfach das schlechteste Hotel.

Liked the beach view and balcony and the room had a kitchen area. Fridge, stove, oven, and microwave.

Old razors were left in the shower from previous renters. The ceiling was leaking water from the room above us. The beds were uncomfortable spring mattresses on iron frames. The sofa cushions were stained and need to be washed. There was no lock on the bathroom door. Overall not the cleanest place.

Loved the fact it was right on the beach. It was walking distance to McDonald’s, Marco’s, and other small businesses. Loved the Tiki Bar! But it closed so early! Maybe open up later and stay open past 7/8.

It was dirty, needs updating desperately, need a place to unload when you have to park across the street so we don’t have to pack our luggage across the busy road with children. There was mold on the ceiling in every room. You can tell they tried to paint over it. I didn’t get a shower curtain, toilet paper, Kleenex, or shampoo and conditioner. I text and let them know and they said they would get the shower curtain to me immediately. They brought the shower curtain down at around 8:30 AM beating on the door so loud and woke us all up on our first night there after having been up most of the night before. Then I had to put the shower curtain up myself and they didn’t give me any toilet paper just shampoo. But it’s a good thing. My daughter stayed there too, and I had already gotten toilet paper from her. The coffee pot was so disgusting that I would not dare use it! There was one fork and two spoons for the five of us. There was only a couple of cups and there was nothing to cook with. Which didn’t matter anyway because it was so dirty that I would not use anything out of that kitchen!

The maid service came once which was fine because i had my do not disturb on the foor all other days. But she didn't sweep, she didnt clean, she made the bed and gave new towels. I took the trash out. But my biggest gripe is parking. I feel that if im paying $1000 i should have parking in the lot attached to the facility. I should not have to fight people paying to park at the beach who aren't staying at this hotel. I dont care if they comped the parking. Your guests shouldn't have to park across the street because you want to make more money off of the beach goers.

Loved the location, and easy beach access! Firework show was amazing from the pier to our balcony.

Floors in the room were nasty from the beginning, we all had black feet within 30 minutes. Bath tub had stranger hair in it as we arrived.

Rooms in dire need of maintenance (rusty hinges, missing part of a lock, missing paint on cabinets, doors very finicky for accepting the key, toilet was easily stopped up, elevator was a bit scary). pictures provided on website are out of date and do not show tree growth causing limited view of ocean for some floors. Staff was unable to accommodate a room move due to being full, though I could still book a room for that night. Got a lot of texts from hotel about things going on, even after opting out at check in.

When we got to the resort we were told they lost our reservations and had to update them. Our room keys stopped working daily, we had to get the front desk to activate the cards 5 times. The last day of our stay they completely drained the pool and said no one was allowed in it the rest of the day. The rooms were very outdated and not very clean. The room had 2 AC units and the only one that would blow cold air was on the side of the room where the bed is. The other half of the room was completely unusable due to how hot it was.
