Let me start with genuine positives: the location is stunning, some of the staff are wonderfully warm and attentive, and my 12-year-old son had a great time with the amenities and activities available for kids. If you’re measuring success purely by whether your child is entertained, Beaches delivers on that front. Those are real credits and I won’t dismiss them. I also want to be clear about who we are as travelers: we are easygoing, go-with-the-flow people. We don’t nitpick. We don’t look for problems on vacation. We actively try to enjoy ourselves and let things roll off our backs. I say that so you understand — when people like us are writing a two-star review, something went genuinely, seriously wrong. Room Promises Mean Nothing — And I Have the Ticket Numbers to Prove It I didn’t just show up hoping for adjoining rooms. I addressed this issue nine months before our arrival. I have the ticket numbers to prove it. Every confirmation. Every follow-up. Documented. The very first thing we did upon arriving — before we even settled in — was raise this issue. We were told immediately that there were no adjoining rooms available in our “price point.” Our price point. At $23,000. That response was so condescending and so tone-deaf that it became a running joke between my family for the rest of the trip. We laughed because the alternative was far worse. And when I followed up with customer service after returning home? Complete silence. Not a single reply. Not an email. Not a call. Nothing. The Food Is a Serious Problem — And It Cost Us an Extra $1,200 For an all-inclusive, the food quality is shockingly poor. We left the resort three separate times over 10 nights just to get a decent meal — and the food off property wasn’t just better, it was significantly better in every way. Between those meals we shouldn’t have needed to buy, we spent an additional $1,200 out of pocket on top of our $23,000 booking. When you’re paying that much for an all-inclusive and spending hundreds more just to eat adequately, the entire value proposition of this resort collapses completely. Inconsistent Service — Including Staff Who Were Downright Mean The staff is a deeply mixed bag. A handful were outstanding — genuinely some of the friendliest resort employees I’ve encountered anywhere. But far too many were disengaged and indifferent, and some were downright mean. Not rushed, not having a bad day — mean. That is not acceptable at any price point, let alone this one. Beaches should seriously consider moving to a tipping model. Nothing incentivizes attentive, motivated service like allowing guests to reward those who earn it. The current flat model appears to breed complacency at best and outright hostility at worst. The Departure “Experience” Says It All If you needed any final confirmation that Beaches views its guests as cattle rather than people, look no further than checkout. They herd you into a departure center, pack you in, and — I wish I were making this up — have you sing a song. It’s patronizing, bizarre, and puts an infantilizing bow on what should have been a premium vacation. It felt less like a fond farewell and more like crowd control with a jingle. Final Word I have traveled extensively and stayed at many luxury resorts around the world. My son had a wonderful time — and that matters. But I will not return to Beaches. Ever. That is not frustration talking — it is a considered decision made by two easygoing people who gave this resort every benefit of the doubt and were failed at nearly every turn. We paid $23,000 for an all-inclusive and spent an additional $1,200 eating off property just to have decent meals. Do the math. For that money, the adults in your party deserve far better. Go elsewhere — or send your kids alone.
Beach - 4/5 - great, water is clear. Seems to be nicer at key West/Italian village end with less rocks in the water and less sea weed vs treasure beach and carribean end. Activities - 3/5 - General ones in the evening are done well however with the kids activities during the day for sports and other types of activities it was not as well organized as other AI resorts. There were activities at the kids and teen club advertised and when our kids went to participate very few kids were there. These aren't communicated in the app and so it seems people may not be aware. Other resorts do a better job by also making announcements at the pool and encouraging kids to participate. Accomodations and facilities 2/5- Caribbean rooms are very dated and well worn. For what we paid per night these are a major disappointment. We have paid less and got 5 star modern rooms. These had damage and very dated looks, with musky smell. Rooms are way over priced and this part of the resort is in need of significant remodel. Beyond the rooms, the Caribbean pools all need a remodel, showing a lot of wear, missing tiles and other damage. Even Italian village pool shows significant wear. The good news is you can use nicer pools at Treasure still. Food - 3.5/5 -The restaurant food was decent. We had good steak at Pintos and butches. Neptunes also had good fish. There is some refinement needed for this resorts price point - food came out cold a number of times (Neptunes and Schooners). The buffets should have more cook to order station options to improve quality as well. Service - 3/5 - Restaurant service was typically slow. Hibachi we sat waiting for 30 mins for the chef to show and they didn't do any of the typical hibachi experiences we have seen at other resorts and restaurants. Generally service was slow at most restaurants vs other resorts we have been to as well. Service at the front desk was hit or miss too. We had issues with the Internet in our room and we were told it would be addressed that night or by next morning and still not resolved next evening and had to followup again. Eventually got resolved. Value - 2/5 - We expected a lot more after staying at places like Grand Moon Palace (Mexico), Hyatt Ziva (Punta Cana), and Hotel Xcaret (Mexico). All these places excelled in other areas over beaches, like beaches, pool, room quality, or activities and cost similar or less per night. Obviously you don't get a beach with as clear water as Turks but we personally didn't think the beach at Turks was enough to make up for the short falls at this resort.
Our family visited beaches Turks and Caicos for spring break. Such a fun trip and the resort has really stepped it up in terms of food and some extra fun activities. We were able to get reservations at Butch’s steakhouse. The service was perfect. Kaylando was our server and he was great- so friendly and professional and courses timed just right. Highly recommend!
My wife, daughter, eight-year old granddaughter and I recently returned from our third trip to Beaches (our first was in late 2022, our second in mid-2024). We enjoyed ourselves, and there are certainly good things to say about the resort, but overall I feel that a sense of diminishing returns is setting in. Perhaps if this had been our first trip I would rate it 5 stars, but given that it was our third, I would call it 3.5, rounded up to 4. As I said, there are good things about the resort, most notably the very recent opening of a new village, Treasure Beach. In terms of physical attractiveness this is, even by the very high bar set by the rest of the resort (I am always amazed at how beautiful the setting is here), a gorgeous addition to the property, beautifully landscaped with a lovely pool. There is also a nice movie theatre with buttered popcorn. The new village also brings with it two major new restaurants: Butch’s Chop House and Pinta. Butch’s is a steakhouse that is a major part of the Sandals brand; this is the first one to appear at a Beaches. We all were very eager to try it out but when we did I found the experience underwhelming, perhaps because it was overhyped. My filet mignon was not bad but it wasn’t the stellar experience I expected it to be; I actually enjoyed the steak I got at Schooner’s with my steak-and-egg breakfast more. Butch’s is also open for breakfast, but this, too, was disappointing: my wife ordered a lobster omelet, for example, and got a shrimp one; she was told that lobster wasn’t in season anymore, so they just substituted shrimp. Why not just tell her that lobster wasn’t available and ask her what she wanted instead? Pinta, on the other hand, was better than I (or anybody in my family) was expecting. From the description, we thought it would be a food court, but instead it turned out to be (for lunch and dinner) a waiter-service restaurant where the menu was divided into multiple sections (Caribbean, Italian, Asian, Mexican) and you could order from each category (the waitress said she recommended one or two items per person). I had scrumptious plantains from the Caribbean section, good potstickers from the Asian, delicious elotes (seasoned corn on the cob) and carne asada from the Mexican, and tasty spaghetti and meatballs and garlic bread from the Italian. There is a dessert buffet for lunch and dinner that chocolate lovers will enjoy. We wound up eating there twice for dinner, once for lunch and once for breakfast. For breakfast, there are two buffets: a traditional American one and a multiple-country one with interesting items like scrambled egg and bacon bao. Another nice thing about the resort is the friendliness of the staff. It seems that every person we encountered greeted us cheerfully and always had a smile. I never met a single staff member who gave me the impression that he or she would rather be somewhere else. Unfortunately, “friendly” does not necessarily translate into “efficient”. On numerous occasions things did not get done. The honey that my daughter was told would be delivered to her room for her daughter, who developed a cough while there, never showed up; she had to go out and get some cough medicine on her own. Routine meal items (steak sauce or drink refills, for example) were requested and never arrived. When things did get done, they sometimes took forever. We ordered burgers at Bobby Dee’s, for example, and I was seriously wondering whether they would arrive in my lifetime. In addition to slowness, there were, for the first time since we have been coming to Beaches, several times when the resort was out of things. My granddaughter likes the “chocolate monkey” drink (chocolate syrup, milk, and a banana, blended together to form a shake) and on one occasion was told that she couldn’t get one because they were out of chocolate, and on another was told they were out of bananas. Seriously, how does a Caribbean beach resort run out of bananas? Also on the first day of our visit I was told they were out of Diet Cokes, so had to drink a regular one instead. I also found myself annoyed at the frequent inability to get beach chairs. This resort has an obsession with butlers, who go out and reserve chairs (that are, it seems, often unused throughout the day). It is pretty frustrating to see a ton of unused chairs, all marked with towels, when you need one. This problem seemed particularly acute at the Italian Village pool, but was beginning to infect the Treasure Beach pool at the end of our stay. Perhaps my biggest complaint about this trip, however, was the poor quality of basic internet service in the rooms. Given the very high prices Beaches charges (our room fees were much increased over what we paid in 2024), you’d think that they could provide internet service that was reliable, but that turned out not to be the case. In our room, our ability to access the internet even depended on what area of the room we were trying from. There is “enhanced internet”, for a fee, and I was wondering whether this was a subtle attempt to get people to pay for that. There are more than 20 restaurants on site, which is good; some (like Bayside, Reflections, and Guiseppe’s) are buffet for three meals a day, others are off-the-menu. You can’t expect really gourmet food at an all-inclusive, and you won’t get it here, but the food was generally pretty good. For lunch and dinner we preferred off-the-menu places to buffets, but we did find the buffet at Reflections to be quite satisfactory for breakfast. Schooner’s does an excellent off-the-menu breakfast; the ambiance at Sky is nice but I thought the breakfast was only so-so. For lunch, my favorite places were Neptune’s, Pinta and Dino’s, which has not only good pizza but also sandwiches and burgers. I didn’t get a chance to do the Jerk Truck this time, but I seem to recall enjoying it on a previous visit. The smashburger at Bobby Dee’s wasn’t quite as good as I remembered it from previous visits, but the hot fudge sundae remains delicious (and you don’t have to wait for that). For dinner, I enjoyed the ribs at Arizona’s (there is also a good chocolate mousse cake for dessert, which you can get in a non-spicy version upon request), and as previously mentioned we all enjoyed Pinta a lot. Cricketer’s is a good place for lunch or dinner (and gets a rave review from our granddaughter, who swears by their chicken nuggets; they are good throughout the resort but they seem to be especially good here). So, bottom line: the four of us had a good time and we’re certainly not sorry we went, but, especially at current prices, I’m not in any great hurry to visit Beaches in the near future.

First off, the employees were lovely. Always friendly and willing to help. Treasure Beach is beautiful and new. The weather didn’t cooperate for 2 days so we got a slow start but once the sun came out, the vibe was great. The food leaves a lot to be desired- we checked with concierge right when we arrived and were only able to get one 8:15 reservation for dinner. Unless you show up at opening time, you could easily be waiting an hour plus at the restaurants. I suggest you show up right when a restaurant opens and put your name on the list. Room service was nice but the order wasn’t always accurate. We slowly figured out the best way to find snacks and meals but it would be great to have a better understanding of how to work the system. No one wants to spend hours a day waiting to be seated for a meal, especially on vacation. Definitely a great spot for young families but keep low expectations on food. Highly recommend SkyPass Caribbean when departing out of Turks and Caicos- they walked us straight through security, we found seats upstairs at the airport and didn’t get caught up in the chaos.
Four 1/2 stars. I had a really nice mommy daughter trip (ages 8 and 10). Stayed in a concierge King room in Key West. Room was very dated and very tight and I would not recommend you try to fit 3 - the pullout was a joke. That said we spent no time in the room. All inclusive, regardless of how nice it’s supposed to be, will have significant drawbacks. Restaurants are really, really slow. Even waits to sit down for the buffet, so plan ahead. Food was passable, with our best meal probably at Sky for breakfast, Mario’s for breakfast buffet, and the sushi place for dinner. Girls tried out the kids club and they liked it for short periods. Beach and grounds are absolutely gorgeous and well-maintained. Waterpark was really fun and we spent a few hours there each day. Even though it was a crowded holiday week the waits for the slides weren’t too bad. The biggest issue we had was finding towels. People holding chairs is a problem at lots of resorts, but the lack of towels was absolutely baffling to me. I would have to walk around to the different villages on the hunt for towels. Given the size of this resort, it was a great inconvenience. Overall it’s a really fun place that has something for everyone. I’d recommend for groups of families or a family reunion type of event.
Easy 4 hour flight from the Midwest and most speak English and are friendly. Felt very safe and rarely saw any police vehicles. Highly recommend renting a car for there is no public transportation or Uber/Lift service and taxis are unreliable and expensive. Expect to pay 2-3X for groceries and dining out. Beaches on the east side (Grace Bay) are wide, long and beautiful with most tours leaving from there. The west side beaches are also beautiful!
Beautiful water and sand best place to vacay with family and friends! Visited many restaurants on Grace Bay! If you’re lucky to find Lindsay and Ali cooking on the beach great food and drinks!
Location Turks & Caicos is obviously a beautiful island. The water and beaches are incredible. Beaches resort is about 20 minutes away from the airport, set on one of these beautiful beaches. Atmosphere The resort is quite large. It takes a good 10-15 minutes to walk it from end-to-end. Since it's a family resort, expect lots of kids but due to the sheer size you never feel crowded. Rooms We did a split stay due to room availability. Our first half were in the new Treasure Beach section. This section is gorgeous. Rooms are designed and built for modern travelers. Plenty of charging ports, sleek glass showers, toilets is a separate stalls, double sinks, etc... The Treasure Beach section is also currently the most popular attracting many guests from other areas to spend the day which crowds this section more than others. The second half of our stay was in a Caribbean Village Honeymoon Deluxe room. This is by far the worst way to describe this room. Nothing was Deluxe, nor honeymoon-ish. It was simply awful. I've stayed in Comfort Inn's nicer than this. The entire room is tiled with large grout lines. All of the grout way stained in a rainbow of colors. The bottom third of the bathroom door was swollen with moisture/mold. The shower curtain rod was in such bad shape (pulled out) that you couldn't keep the water in the tub while showering. Mold everywhere in the bathroom. Corners, tub, walls, shower curtain. The obviously made the whole room smell. The AC unit had an extremely loud fan that didn't really cool, so it ran (like a jet engine) 24/7. The pillows were older than I am. It was sold on their website as having beer/wine in the fridge, none of which were there. Just plain bad. I requested a room change/upgrade (willing to pay more) but was consistently shut down by their Director of Customer Service due to a sold-out resort with no availability. This room was so bad, we cut our stay short and left the property to go stay somewhere else. Upon leaving (taxi waiting), the manager offers a new room to get us to stay. This after being told there was no availability 5 times by their Director. We still left. Food For an all-inclusive the food is adequate. Since most restaurants are sit-down, a-la-carte, it gives it a nice atmosphere but the food is just a step above buffet food. The food service staff are mostly mediocre. They don't want to be there and it shows. Ask for a table at a nearly empty restaurant (20-30 empty tables), and they will make you wait a minimum of 10 minutes while they look for a table. Happened three times. And it has to be noted the Guissepe's in the French Village is quite possible the worst food imaginable. It's supposed to be an Italian buffet. There's a total of five dishes, one of which is curried goat for some reason. The pizza at this location is of the frozen soggy variety, even though other restaurants on site offer decent pizza. Entertainment Travelling with two teenagers, Beaches offers decent entertainment. The nights typically had something that kept us busy for a couple hours.
The most beautiful family accommodating resort we have ever been to. The food was great, staff was always happy and smiling, and it seemed like there was always something to do. We did the snorkel tour and iguana island which was ok but didn’t realize there was a good place to snorkel if you walked down the beach a little ways. The beds did seem a little small and not the most comfortable in the French village that we stayed in but that would be my only negative throughout the whole trip. Hope to come back again!!
Amazing beach, great weather but I would not return to this Beaches property. I have a 10 year old boy who is mature for his age and they would not let him join the kids club for 11 years and up. he is only 2 months away very disappointed in the staff on how they handled this. I also paid for concierge service and received nothing in return. The property is a little too big but once you get rid of the map you will be fine. unfortunately we missed a lot of activities as they were not advertised well and most of the fun things were never in our area most of it was at the Italian village which the pool was super crowded and not enjoyable. Last year we did the smaller Negril Beaches and wish we would have went back there instead. Not giving up on Beaches properties hoping beaches Barbados is in the works.
Was fun, enjoyed the many restaurants approximated to the beach there's so many different villages. take a look at those before you book we stayed in the Caribbean which was nice right beside the Italian Village which was fun to go through. Each one has its own vibe
We very much enjoyed our stay at Beaches Turks & Caicos with our children and grandchildren ranging in age from 8 to 2 years old. Rooms were always tidied up during the day and we loved our beach front views though tired a bit with the professional family photos being taken in our area of the Caribbean Village. Special shout-out to Schooner's staff Neil and Scateline, Susan at the Jerk Truck, and Kimono's chef on Wed. Feb. 25th. Other favorite eats were the Soy Sushi Bar and Yoyo's frozen yogurt.
As a loyal enthusiast of the brand (with extraordinary past experiences at Sandals Royal Barbados and Sandals Grande Antigua, among others), I recently returned from a 7-night stay at the Italian Village of Beaches Turks & Caicos (Concierge Level). While the overall cleanliness of the grounds remains generally satisfactory, I noted a concerning decline in the usual standards. Hygiene & Maintenance: We had to discreetly report roaches in our room. While a treatment was performed quickly, there was no follow-up or apology from management. Even more concerning, sanitation and insect issues were visible in the Kimonos restaurant restrooms—completely unacceptable at this price point. Conversely, I noticed much higher standards of cleanliness and upkeep in the restrooms of the Caribbean, Key West, and Treasury sectors, proving that a high standard is still possible elsewhere on the property. Concierge Service Inconsistencies: Management of basic supplies was a struggle: repeated shortages of washcloths and Red Lane products. A particularly disappointing detail: the "new" amenity tubes provided were sealed but only half-full, strongly suggesting reused products presented as new. Dining Experience (General & Specific): Global Observation: Service is often slow across the entire resort. The included red wine is systematically served at island ambient temperature (25°C+/77°F+), making it very unpleasant. Furthermore, much of the staff seemed demotivated and rarely smiled, a stark contrast to my experiences at other properties in the chain. Kimonos: This was my 4th experience, and a major letdown: the "show" aspect (juggling, entertainment, chef interaction) was completely absent. The Butch’s: Over 20 minutes of waiting just for a glass of water. Bobby Dee's (Pirates Island): Chaotic management for this kids' restaurant, with 30+ minute waits for a simple burger. Honorable Mentions: A few employees truly saved the experience with their professionalism and constant smiles: the public area maintenance staff, the team at Giuseppe’s (French Village), and the team at Bayside (Key West sector). Conclusion: I sincerely love this brand and hope this honest feedback helps spark improvements. In the past, I have highly praised your properties in Barbados and Antigua, but this stay clearly shows internal management difficulties. At this price point, attention to detail and consistent service should be beyond reproach. If management deems it relevant to contact me, I remain available. My only wish is to see the Beaches and Sandals brands maintain the level of excellence they have established for themselves.
This was our first international family vacation and my kids’ first time seeing the most beautiful BLUE water and SOFT white sand (we live in Texas). My kids are 9 and 12. From start to finish we were treated like family! The shuttle came to pick us from the airport right when we arrived. The ride to the resort is no more than 15 min. At the resort you are greeted with fresh fruit juice and cold towels. We stayed in the French village. The rooms are renovated and very nice. There is soooo much to do at this resort. The benefit is that no restaurant or pool was overcrowded. The beach was also never overcrowded. We never had a problem getting chairs or towels. To be all-inclusive, the food was VERY good and fresh. Last but not least, the service—top notch. The staff was so kind. Super Susan at the Jerk Truck quickly became like family to us!!! She was so sweet to my children. Akeem at the Caribbean pool bar was also so kind to my family. They even make non-alcoholic fun drinks for kiddos. We plan to come next year and extend another day. For a mom who always has to cook and plan meals, this was a true vacation where I didn’t have to worry about any of that. ALSO—— I was sooo shocked by the accommodations for food allergies. I have a kiddo with foo allergies. This resort can provide custom options with advance notice for food allergies. However, you would have to map out your restaurant choices in advance. I have to stress that the food was really great and fresh, despite being all-inclusive and basically unlimited.
My wife and I first came to Beaches Turks and Caicos in 2008 before we had kids for a wedding. We always remembered how nice we thought it was and in 2016 when our first child was 2 years old we came back. Since then we’ve been back every year sometimes more than once. Our kids are now 12 and 9 years old. Through work personal experience, I’ve visited more than 30 all inclusive resorts all over the Caribbean/Mexico and Costa Rica. Beaches is my favorite and I don’t have a close 2nd. At this point, it would be the only resort I’d go to in the Caribbean if I had my choice. The place is immaculately maintained, offers so much to do especially with a family (water park, pools, games, entertainment, Xbox lounge) and the best beach in my opinion in the Caribbean. However, I must also mention that the people here do also make all the difference. Two specific people are worth mentioning for anyone considering coming to this resort to ask for: The first is Jody-Ann Morris-Bryan. Jody-Ann has been baby sitting our kids now for a number of years. To say she just does a good job would be the understatement of the year. I say this because we live in Boston and to this day, we do not have a reliable babysitter. This is because our kids really don’t like babysitters and put up such a fight every time we get one. We’ve gone through so many over the years. However, with Jody-Ann it’s the opposite. They like her so much that every time we are about to go to Beaches and discuss what we are excited about, they always mention Jody-Ann as the number one thing (which is wild because the other things I mentioned above in terms of what the resort offer they love as well). The only thing that is tough is how much they miss her when we leave. On our last trip our kids were literally both in tears when we got home because they missed her so much. The second person is Fedeline Julien. Fedeline oversees all the child care and programming. Prior to Jody-Ann, for many years our kids went to the child care program for their ages when they were there. Unlike most child care places where it’s basically just a room with toys/games that your kids will get bored with in 30 minutes, Fedeline’s program offers much more of a summer camp like program with it being age appropriate, 1-2 years old, 3-4, 5-7, 8-11, etc. Also, good luck finding any resort that will take a child under 3 years old let alone nap them/change their diaper multiple times a day like beaches does. I’ll never forget when our kids were that age and realizing Beaches did this after going on a bunch of other vacations when they were that age and honestly just wishing I was back in my office at work. Fedeline and her team do an amazing job.
First time to TCI and Beaches, absolutely wonderful! The people, place, and food were amazing. We met a lot of great people who made our trip even more special: Johnson-Kimonos Raheem-Soy Ryan-Mario’s (Breakfast and Dinner) Dive Center-Cleon Dive Center-Andrew Crickereer’s-Colleen and Michelle (Lunch) Deidrian-Sapodillas (Dinner) Romar-Sky (Breakfast) Rojay-Loyalty and Travel These were only a few. There are so many behind the scenes who make sure your stay is amazing, Housekeeping, Culinary, Grounds, and Transportation. I never felt more at home on a first visit, so it’s already booked for 2027.
We went with a large of multiple families with kids. For the price you pay to go there, I do not think it is worth it. We have stayed at probably 20 all-inclusives and I will say that most of the larger kid friendly resorts are similar for half the price. Breakfast was frustrating because you had to wait 10 minutes in line to put your name in the wait another 20-25 minutes to sit down to eat a buffet style breakfast and only 25% of the tables were full. If we were by ourselves, I wouldn’t care but with younger kids, no one wants to stand around for 30 minutes for breakfast. The pools were beautiful and my children loved the kids area. There were plenty of waterslides, a lazy river and surf simulator. The beach was also beautiful. Lunch was on par with most other places, the food trucks and pizza were the best options. Dinner was hit or miss. The best was the adults only restaurant. The customer service was seriously lacking and you could tell they were understaffed. One of the families in our party had a serious bug issue in their room and it took 2.5 days to get them to properly address the situation. We went there thinking we’re going to find a place to go back every year and now we will never go to a beaches ever again.
This was our third trip here but first as a couple and stayed in Key West. We really love the great snorkeling at Coral Gardens (Bight Reef) so this is a lot of what brought us back. Unfortunately the entire week we were there (Feb 5-12) was extremely windy (red flags every day except last day) so the snorkeling was very murky and not worth it. The resort is beautifully landscaped and we found the staff friendly- did not seem to encounter anyone unfriendly as others have said. We spent most days at the Iguana pool ( near Arizona’s ). We participated in a lot of activities- the team is really great especially Kenton, Damien, and Roshane- they are very good at keeping people engaged. Our favorite suppers were Schooners (KemarD was exceptional) and Neptunes. We ate breakfast mostly at Neptunes and found service and food very good. They put on a great Super Bowl party- lots of food and bars for drinks. Housekeeping was fantastic- came at least twice daily and always had supplies/towels topped up and fridge was replenished every day as well. Overall or trip was as we expected (other than the windy weather) We did find the resort to be in need of a refresh but that didn’t take away from our experience. We were not at all bothered by the children - it is a family resort and absolutely knew what to expect since it was our third trip. If you have a free morning, try going to Potcake Rescue and take a puppy out for a walk- it’s a great way to spend a morning. Off to Grenada and St Vincent for a split stay next year.
Second visit to this resort! March 2018 and Feb 2026. Still gorgeous as ever, very well kept grounds…those guys are out cleaning long before anyone is up. Rooms - very clean and great about new towels. I’m a shampoo/ conditioner snob and loved the large sized RedLane collection from the Spa line they provided along with body wash, lotion and hard soap! Pools were really nice. People do get up early to snag chairs so get out by 7/7:15, before u get a coffee or breakfast! I couldn’t believe how many slobs and entitled people there are leaving behind towels when the bins are on both side of every pool. Glasses and trash left behind for someone else to pick up. FYI that is not what all inclusive is for! Very windy during our stay ‘red flagged’ for 4 of our 7 days which did minimize chairs by the ocean….but powdery soft beaches were still amazing! Cooler temps than they had seen in years while we were there but still gorgeous and mid 70’s. I would recommend a light jacket for evenings as they were slightly cool when the sun went down and the breeze. Food - decent to good. Reservations needed for the hibachi grill, otherwise dinner started at 5:30. We enjoyed the Sapidillos (sp) and the Arizona pool restaurant (forgot the name) the most. Breakfast buffet by the Iguana pool was always fresh and great - best omelet guy ever is Abdul (pic attached) and best bar was in the Italian village by the lobby…Simone is seriously a unicorn when it comes to professionalism, friendliness and making drinks! One of her counter parts Yesuha and another gentleman also top notch! The Mac & Cheese truck is a must (don’t wait til the last day - you will prob want to go again)! SCUBA diving - was a huge disappointment. The Capt and dive masters were nice but it was over an hour boat ride out with a 25 and 30 min dive. Visibility was great but nothing special for diving. We also go put in a group with brand new divers so they wanted to stay in very close vicinity of the boat. I love the fact they will certify people in the cost of their stay but there definitely needs to be a group for the new divers and another for the advanced. It was a waste of a day (got back to the room at 3:00) and one of 2 yellow flag days we could have enjoyed the ocean more on the resort side. Suggestions - bring your own floats, tips are appreciated, towel holders are a bonus but these pool chair pillows were a dream (won’t travel w/o them again, love the vacuum packing bags! Friday was fun shopping on the resort locals come with their goods (remember it’s their livelihood.
Overall our multi-generational trip to Beaches was spectacular! The entertainment leads that we met, O'Ryan and Dialdo, were super hospitable and fun. We did things like pickleball, karaoke, bingo and a ton of other really fun activities. Everyone also had a blast at the beautiful beaches and pools (can't beat the swim up bars). There were water activities that came included like snorkeling and paddle boards too.
Had a very great time at Beaches and enjoyed most of the restaurants offered here, especially the Cafe de Paris which we got pastries from every morning. There were plenty of activities to do throughout the day and the staff running the activities were very personable and had great energy. Definitely have to give special shoutouts to O’Ryan and Dialdo, who were extremely hospitable and a joy to be around. They were always bright and cheerful every time we ran into them (which ended up being a lot during our five day stay), and really made us feel at home. They definitely elevated an already wonderful experience.
I am currently at Beaches resort and decided to start my review now because I’ll never have time when I get home. I’ll keep updating as we get through the week but there are a few notable things that need mentioning. Overall I’d say 3 days in it’s not worth the money or the hype. We travel a lot and stay at both nice resorts and more reasonable accommodation. We camp in tents and aren’t afraid to stay in a cheap hotel near an airport. However, if you’re going to pay these prices then you expect the best. And this is far from the best. Some of my comments are about are not in the hotels control so I’ll start with those. - my kids are 12, 10 and 9 and the we are at the top end of this place being age appropriate for them. It really caters to children much younger and I think any old and they would feel like they were out of place in the kids activities. - this is one of those places where you have to get up at 6am and (even then) fight for a chair. The pool is completely taken by 7 but luckily I want to be at the beach where you can find a chair or two to save for yourself if you down before 7. I hate doing this but I also want a chair. So I become one of the things that annoys me most. - we are here on a high week so I know you get a lot of personalities but there are def some Karen’s walking around here making life harder than it needs to be. Now onto what the hotel can control Let’s start with staff: About half the staff is sweet and helpful. Smile at you and sincerely want you to have a good time. The other half barely looks you in the eye and def won’t smile. I don’t expect a Disney princess greeting everytime but at times it seems as if we are bothering them by just being here. I will say, the other half is very kind and pleasant. Maybe that’s just the way it is these days but It’s off putting. The food - meh. It’s fine. I guess I expect more when you pay so much but it’s fine. Not bad, a few good bites and few bad. Just meh. - the wait is t bad for tables. And you don’t reserve in advance except for one restaurant. I like that. It makes a less stressful experience an your not on a timeline The room - it’s nice. Nothing to write home about but nothing bad. The closet door is stuck and I’ve a called twice to get it fixed. Let’s see if it happens The pools - the one in the Italian section is over populated with people I don’t really want to be around so we haven’t gone there. There is an obnoxious DJ and it makes me feel like in Cancun, not a luxury Turks vacation. -We found a nice one in key west and are spending our time at the beach and this pool.
Our family of 15 had an incredible time at Beaches, and O’Ryan and Dialdo were a huge part of what made our stay so special. They did an outstanding job running the pickleball and volleyball activities, bringing great energy, professionalism, and warmth to everything they did. What stood out most was how hospitable they were, even outside of the activities. They both remembered all of our family members’ names and greeted us warmly whenever we saw them around the resort. That level of personal care made us feel genuinely welcomed and at home. They created a fun, inclusive environment and made every activity something our family looked forward to. O’Ryan and Dialdo are exceptional team members, and their kindness and enthusiasm made a lasting impression on all of us. They truly elevated our experience, and Beaches is very fortunate to have them. We would also like to recognize the wonderful wedding team who helped make our parents’ 50th vow renewal unforgettable: Annika, Renande, Tauren, Jimmy, Sherlock, Sheldon, Omar, Floyd, and the server from our welcome reception whose name we unfortunately cannot recall. We are very grateful for their efforts.
DO NOT BOOK THROUGH THE PHONE: -1-888-BEACHES The representative stole my credit card information and placed one charge for the mandatory $98 and then placed a second charge immediately following for over $1400. Sandals/Beaches have been completely useless and unhelpful - I’ve had to cancel my credit card. They can pull the call but since the second charge didn’t go through the system they won’t do anything even though it was their person!
I’ve read many reviews about the staff not being very friendly, and my opinion is that those are outlier experiences. The staff is overwhelmingly friendly, and go out of their way to be kind to everyone, especially children. Of course, there are some people who seem like they are not enjoying their jobs, but I wouldn’t say they were rude, just not as friendly as others might have been on that particular day. The resort is very clean and well kept, and the children’s entertainment is excellent. The kids camp is honestly the best part, staffed very well, clean, and run very efficiently. As other s have said, the food is mediocre but you can find good options on the resort, and kids will always eat well. We loved Beaches, and will definitely be back.
This was our second February visit to Beaches Turks & Caicos, and once again it was a wonderful multigenerational family vacation. We stayed in a P2 Seaside 2-Bedroom, which was perfect for our family of seven (4 adults, 3 children). The kids had the most amazing time! The Sesame Street characters interacting daily and the nightly shows truly make this resort magical for children. The Friday night parade was also a highlight — our granddaughters even participated and loved it. A big personal milestone for us: my son-in-law and I got scuba certified during this trip. Huge thanks to Alex for his training and for his patience and support during my first open water dive. Our butler team — Jomo, Nadia, and trainee Claude — were exceptional. I am a Diamond Level Sandals guest and have had many butlers, but this team stood out. Jomo went above and beyond when my son-in-law unexpectedly needed a tie for a virtual business meeting. He brought three of his own ties from home to help — truly saving the day. They also made our granddaughters feel so special and even attended the talent show to watch our oldest perform. That meant a lot. Dining highlights included the French restaurant and the Jerk food truck. Mario’s had excellent Ossobuco, though our pasta was undercooked both nights. Arizona Tex-Mex felt more Southwest/Tex-Mex style (sometimes referred to as a steakhouse), but the menu was a bit limited. We also did the Kitty Kat Catamaran: nice experience, though snorkeling time felt short. February can be windy and a bit chilly at times, so our next visit will likely be in late June for warmer, calmer weather. We’ve already booked our third trip for 2028 — it will fall on my youngest granddaughter’s 7th birthday, and I already know it will be super special! Eva Harris
Had the most fantastic trip to Beaches Turks and Caicos. We traveled with 4 adults, 3 children ages 2, 6 and 8 years old. Stayed in a 4 bedroom beachfront butler villa in the Key West Village with private pool. Just beautiful accommodations! Walked to the beach everyday and enjoyed the beautiful view. The kids love having the waves chase them We had the privilege of having Ashuli and Dominique as our butlers. They went above and beyond serving us! Always made our dinner reservations and escorted us to the restaurants. Had our cabana set up with all our favorite drinks and served us snacks and lunch daily. At night brought in desserts and fruit for a nighttime snack. If you can splurge get the butler service, you won’t be disappointed! Thanks again Ashuli and Dominique for making the trip so spectacular! Looking forward to our next trip!
Our family just stayed at Beaches Turks and Caicos, and overall we had an incredible experience. The resort itself is beautiful, the beach is absolutely stunning, and the service throughout our stay was spectacular. From the moment we arrived, the staff were warm, kind, and genuinely cared about our family’s experience. We did have a hiccup with our original room, which was very disappointing given the price and expectations. However, what truly stood out was how promptly and professionally the situation was handled. Patrice and Jodi-anne went above and beyond for us and completely turned the situation around. They truly saved our vacation, and we are so grateful for their care and kindness. 💕 The little things made such a big difference for our family. The train around the resort was a huge hit with our son, and the conductor even gave extra rides just to see the kids smile again, such a thoughtful and heartwarming touch. The photographers were wonderful, and the girls at Jo’s Coffee Shop were so sweet, so accommodating, and clearly love children. Shout out as well to the incredible staff at Schooners every single person there went above and beyond. So kind, so thoughtful, and so prompt. The service there truly stood out to us. Despite the initial hiccup, this resort exceeded our expectations. We left feeling valued, cared for, and so thankful for how our concerns were handled. We would absolutely return. Thank you for a fantastic family vacation! Until next time. Don’t forget to find Val the “shell king” his shark attack story is very interesting and was my sons highlight.
We had a fantastic time at Beaches Turks and Caicos. Nene at the tweens and teens disco was the absolute best. So caring, thoughtful and fun and she took great care of the kids. Would highly recommend
O’Ryan is the best and the entertainment crew was unbelievable. The food is amazing. Best week of my life. I would recommend
We just returned from Beaches Turks and Caicos, and after a pretty rough experience in Mexico, this trip completely reset our expectations of what an all-inclusive can be. First, the resort is truly open and flexible—you can visit any of the villages with no restrictions. From the moment we arrived until we left 10 days later, I spent $0 on property. No tipping required (or even allowed). We traveled as a family of six, but saw plenty of couples as well—so don’t worry about it feeling like “only a family resort.” We’ve been to many tropical destinations, and the staff here was exceptional—honestly 100x better than most Caribbean resorts, with the only comparable experience being Sandals Jamaica! Friendly, attentive, and genuinely caring. Food allergies in our family were handled better than anywhere we’ve ever been. Every restaurant had a chef available who knew ingredients inside and out on top of everything being labeled. If something contained an allergen, they made a safe alternative on the spot. The food quality was outstanding—fresh, excellent flavor, and always available. Compared to other all-inclusive resorts we’ve visited, this was easily 10x better. (Yes, you pay a premium but it’s so worth it) When they say all-inclusive, they mean it. Food, drinks, activities, watersports, transportation—everything included. I spent $13 total, and that was at the airport on the way home. Even at near full capacity, the resort never felt crowded. No waiting for towels, chairs, beach spots, pools, food, or drinks. It felt effortless and incredibly safe. We aren’t protective parents and I felt completely safe sending my kids off to a restroom or to get a snack. We aren’t big drinkers, but everything we tried was top-shelf. (Red wine was standard island wine, but everything else was great.) Kids’ smoothies were made with real fruit—huge win. They serve Jamaican Blue Mountain coffee, which basically ruined all other coffee for me……Thanks Beaches! Food is available 24/7 (Food was great even at food trucks vs the fancier sit downs). Pools were warm, clean, and well staffed. Beach had a few non-resort vendors (Hair braiders, etc.) but they were very respectful and if they asked you once they didn’t bother again! We also aren’t big “entertainment people,” but the entertainment team absolutely crushed it. Our kids begged to go to the shows every night—and they were genuinely impressive. Our room was a ne of the less expensive options, but was great. It was clean……which one would think should be a standard but you’d be surprised at other places! We spent almost no time in our room, because the resort was so great we were really only there to sleep! Bottom line: 10/10 experience. Beaches Turks and Caicos sets a new bar for what an all-inclusive resort should be.
We stayed at Oceanside East Grace Point for 6 nights. EVERY MORNING we awoke at 7am to hear the annoying and loud sounds of construction right outside our room. We were not given any advance notice by the hotel of this work taking place when we made our reservations and thus we did not have the chance to look for another location to stay. No discount given for the abnormal conditions. Very disrespectful and irritating. Appears loud construction that disturbs the privacy and peacefulness of this hotel will continue for at least 6 more months.
Absolutely incredible! Location is beautiful, rooms - even better! Everything was so clean, and the service was stunning! The atmosphere was so calm yet so exhilarating. The value is incredible, not to mention the amenities, which were better than any place I had ever been to before. This is 1000% a must-go location. LOVE!
Great experience!! The entertainment crew is top notch! O’Ryan has been so fantastic with our teens between the offerings with pickle ball, volleyball, soccer, pool. He is fantastic. And to make it better he is an excellent singer!! Loved all the entertainers!! Food is great too! Perfect trip!
The worst and most expensive resort ever. Dirty rooms was the worse part. Staff were picking up food with their bare hands when serving it. I just will never go back again. I’ll stick with the Iberostar
This was our first visit to Beaches Turks and Caicos. It was an amazing experience for the whole family. Our butlers Antonio and Rassul took care of our every need and even the ones we didn’t know we needed. I highly recommend the butler rooms as it streamlines your vacation and gives you the opportunity to enjoy a stress free vacation without needing to worry about food, drinks, or poolside amenities.
We were at Beaches from Thursday, January 29, until Thursday, February 5. We’d been told this wasn’t a busy time of year at the resort, and we were pleased to find that, yeah, it wasn’t busy at all (one afternoon, I was the only person in the French pool hot tub). Our airport arrival experience was quite smooth, with around a 30-minute wait at customs and maybe a five-minute wait at security when we left ( I’m glad we skipped the express pass). Unfortunately, while we had luck with the crowds, we were unlucky with the weather. We had lots of wind and clouds, resulting in red flags on the beach every single day. That meant no water toys, no snorkelling trip, no glass-bottom boat. And while that was disappointing, given the state of the ocean, it was the right call. Thankfully, the resort overall wasn’t disappointing, at least not to me. I know Beaches Turks and Caicos gets mixed reviews, and I suspect some of that is the result of unrealistic expectations. This is not a true luxury resort; it’s a higher-end, family-focused resort with over 800 rooms (once Treasure Beach opens). A true luxury resort is about a frictionless experience, one that feels effortless. That’s not Beaches. Yes, it’s expensive, but what you’re paying for is the amazing location and lots of options: Tons of food and drink choices, multiple pools and waterslides and, weather-permitting, lots of water toys and activities. Here’s a more detailed breakdown of what we liked and where there’s room for improvement. The Good - The service: I’m starting here because I’ve seen multiple complaints about lacklustre service, but we didn’t experience that at all. Staff were friendly and helpful and generally prompt (and when we did have to wait, it was because it was obviously busy). - Some of the food: This was a mixed bag, and I now understand some of the criticism shared about the food. We did have some standouts. We especially loved the iced coffee and the many different treats at Café de Paris. The frozen yogurt was also a huge hit with my family (the pink lemonade flavour was delicious). Sky was our favourite spot for breakfast (smoked salmon waffles!), lunch was best at Arizona’s (those chicken nuggets are really good) and dinner… That’s a tough one. We loved our meal at Mario’s (the focaccia bread is amazing), and my husband and daughter both loved the steak at Arizona’s. We also really enjoyed Barefoot by the Sea, which probably had the best atmosphere. Oh, and the jerk truck is a must-eat. - Our room: We stayed in a ground-level French Village room, and I really liked it. The updated décor is fresh and pretty, and the room is well-equipped with a comfy bed and a giant dresser perfect for organizing our clothes. Our room had two sinks, one inside the bathroom and one outside, which was very practical. We never heard our neighbours once in our room, but we would hear the evening shows unless we were running the A/C. Once that thing was turned on, you couldn’t hear any external noises. Also, the shows were always done by 10 pm. We were at the very back of the French Village (I think in the Dijon building), so “far” from the beach, but it was still a very manageable distance and really, because of the weather, we weren’t at the beach that much. I would stay here again. - The pools: Some of the pools are actually heated! We were at Atlantis a couple of years ago, and its “heated” pools weren’t that heated. So, it was nice, especially since the weather was cooler, that some of the pools aren’t ice cold. There are also hot tubs that are (usually) warm. Our favourite pool was the French one; we could always find chairs, and it was easy to get a drink. The layout is also great for kids who have different swimming abilities (there are shallower and deeper areas, and it’s easy to keep an eye on the whole pool at once). Our second favourite was the Arizona pool, which was warm, quiet and had cute bird visitors (you could also easily pop out, dry off and get lunch at Arizona’s). But this one gets deeper (maybe the deepest pool on the property), so it’s not the best for little kids. - Other things we liked: We enjoyed the little pop-ups that would just appear, like the tie-dying (bring your own shirt to save money). The street party is a must-do, and while the shows were short, any that involve fire are worth watching. I also liked how quick the check-in was and that it was easy to change our departure time when our flight was delayed. Side note: I’ve seen people complain about the Italian pool being really loud/being a “party pool”), but personally, I didn't find it loud at all. However, it could be busy, and it was the only pool where we had issues finding chairs. Could Use Improvement - Housekeeping could have been a little bit better - As noted by others, the bathrooms in the French Village need updating - The waterpark could do with a facelift; it’s probably the roughest-looking space at the resort. The lazy river is also a bit too lazy, and the water is so cold - Okay, back to the food. I was surprised at how limited the buffets were. They were also often bland. Everything I had was completely edible, and nothing was bad, but we did have multiple items that were just kind of there. That blandness, unfortunately, extended to the mac and cheese truck (though it did have good chicken tenders). There is definitely room for improvement with the food Overall, I recommend this resort; you just need to go into it with the right exceptions!
We went as a family of 4 the last week of January our children are 2.5 and 6 and we stayed on the Caribbean village. Starting off we were originally booked to go to Jamaica in November but because of Hurricane Melissa we were moved to Turks and Caicos. Turks is a much larger resort, with more restaurants, a larger entertainment staff and overall just a bigger resort. It’s very much like multiple resorts put together (which I guess is kinda what happened). We spent most of our days on the Caribbean village side eating breakfast at reflections then spending the day by the pools. We went to the water park a few times (it’s in the Italian village) and went to the beach but I found the beach had a lot of sand fleas (not the resorts fault) and they really did a number on my legs. The room we had was a little small. Our oldest son alternated between sleeping with me and sleeping with my husband, our two year old slept in a crib. The beds were only doubles so you couldn’t really fit two adults comfortably. Our kids loved that the could go up to the “bar” and get a fancy drink anytime they wanted and anytime one of the resort staff saw one of our boys they stopped said hi and chatted with them a bit. This game the resort a more homey feel even though it was so big. We used the kids camp a few days for the kids and they had an amazing time. This was honestly the best feature (in my opinion). Knowing our boys were 100% safe, and having fun while we got to relax and have some quiet time was worth the whole trip. When we picked the kids up we got to hear all about their amazing fun day and we would get to chat with other kids, their parents and the staff at the same time. The only real hiccup was at check in. We landed around 1pm and we had to wait in line for 30+ mins while they did a semi check in with everyone else going to the resort outside while waiting for transport to the resort. Then when we got to the resort we had to go through it again. So it kinda felt like a waste of time. Then the front reception staff went through a very long “orientation” that was very rushed and honestly hard to follow since we have a 2&6 year old who couldn’t care less and wanted to go away. Our room wasn’t ready yet and we had to dig through our bags in the lobby to get changed in bathrooms before we could go exploring. I would 100% go back and I would 100% recommend this resort to anyone with little kids and for folks with older kids too. It was an amazing time and I think that our boys had a really wonderful experience.
Phenomal week as a family of 4 (kids 12 and 9). Food was lackluster but everything else made up for it. Truly the most beautiful beach. Did the resort snorkel trip in the morning and were lucky enough to see a Dolphin play around close to us ! Simone at the Italian bar makes a tasty dirty GIN martini !!
We stayed here as a family and found it very convenient for traveling with kids. There were plenty of activities throughout the day, so everyone always had something to do without needing to plan much. The beach was clean and easy to access, and the resort felt lively but well organized. Meals were straightforward with lots of options, which made dining with children simple. Overall, it worked well for a relaxed family vacation where everything is in one place.
I went to Beaches, Turks & Caicos to celebrate my sister's 40th birthday with the whole family. None of us had ever been to Turks & Caicos before and we were very excited for the trip. When we arrived at the resort, we were stunned. The grounds were beautiful, the beach looked like a postcard, and the weather was absolutely perfect. The longer we stayed, though, the more we realized that this is unfortunately not the tropical idyll we thought it was. We booked two separate rooms, both in the Caribbean Village. My sister and her family had a very spacious, modern room near the beach, but the room I shared with my mother was less so. Very outdated furniture and decor, not to mention our safe was broken (we called someone to fix it and it was still broken) and the sink in the bathroom leaked onto the floor. If this was a normal all-inclusive resort (like many others I've been to), I probably wouldn't even mention these minor issues, but since the cost of this place is WAY more than other place I've stayed at, I thought it would be noticeably better; that is not the case. More disappointing than the room, however, was the food. "Aggressively mediocre" is probably the best way to describe it. The only meals that stood out as being exceptional were the dinners at Le Petit Chateau and Soy. The drinks were also very hit-or-miss. One of the ways Beaches justifies its absurd prices because more activities are included in the overall price than other all-inclusive resorts. This is an illusion. One activity my family wanted to partake in was the glass bottom boat tour. The first time we tried to book it, we were told it was broken. The next time, that we filled out the wrong form (which was given to us by the resort). Finally, on our last day, that all the tours are booked, but we should try again tomorrow. In addition to this dancing around, I have never actually seen anyone on this mythical boat. I sat on the beach every day when I was there and while there were many boats on the water, I didn't see any boats that could reasonably be this glass boat bottom. Overall, the best parts of my experience here had nothing to do with the resort itself, but rather with the gorgeous location of Turks & Caicos. I was hoping for a luxury experience since they charge luxury prices, but of the dozen or so all-inclusive resorts I've stayed at in the Caribbean, this was by far the most disappointing and the only one I would never recommend.
We just returned from an incredible stay at Beaches Turks and Caicos, and it truly exceeded our expectations. We stayed in a beautifully renovated room in the Seaside Village, which was absolutely ideal for our family of four. We have two young daughters (ages 4 and 6), and the layout worked perfectly. The separate bedroom had its own balcony, while the living area had a second balcony, a small fridge, and a pull-out couch. The pull-out was surprisingly comfortable and worked very well for the kids. Having the extra space and separation made the stay far more relaxing for everyone. The resort itself is amazing and offers an unbelievable amount to do. We spent a lot of time on the beach, but also enjoyed the pools, all of which were great. Our favourite was the Caribbean Pool closest to the Seaside area, though every pool we visited was well maintained and fun. Our girls absolutely loved the Sesame Street character experiences. Every show they attended was enjoyable, but the street party and parade were the highlight of the entire trip. Getting to meet all the characters was truly magical for them. We also spent quite a bit of time at the water park, which was a huge hit. Our 6-year-old tried the surf simulator for the first time on a boogie board and didn’t want to stop — easily one of her favourite memories from the vacation. The staff throughout the resort were fantastic — friendly, patient, and incredibly accommodating with children. It really shows that this resort is designed with families in mind. The food was excellent and exceeded our expectations for an all-inclusive. We especially loved Arizona’s since we’re big Tex-Mex fans, but all of the restaurants we tried were very good. Our hibachi chef at Kimonos was a bit more subdued compared to others we saw during our stay, but the food itself was great. Our 6-year-old loves sushi, so we ended up dining there twice. We also tried a couple of excursions. The glass-bottom boat was just okay, but the snorkeling was a lot of fun. I went twice with our 6-year-old, and it was a great shared experience. One extra note — our Seaside location was right next to the new Treasure Island area, which looks very close to completion. It’s exciting to see how much the resort continues to invest and expand. Yes, Beaches Turks & Caicos is expensive — but it delivered incredible family memories that made it completely worth it for us. We actually put a deposit down on our next trip before leaving; now we just have to figure out when we’re going back. Highly recommended for families looking for a truly special vacation.
We paid $6,000 for four nights at what’s marketed as a five-star resort. Beaches placed us in a suite directly next to active construction on all sides, with a view directly into portable toilets and constant noise from early morning to night. Fire alarms from the site also went off repeatedly during the night, making it hard for our children and us to sleep. Despite written confirmation weeks earlier that our room would be far from construction, there was no proactive communication or meaningful resolution. Customer service took over a month to respond and ultimately offered a single-night voucher under restrictive legal conditions we declined, as we have no intention of returning to Beaches. Easily the worst experience and poorest customer follow-up we've encountered in more than a decade of family travel.
Amazing color and clean Good weather, does rain some but that’s okay. Some areas have cute doggies running around. I hope and pray the Turk government takes care of them 🙏❤️. I do think there is a doggie shelter.
We recently vacationed at the Beaches/Sandals resort in Turks and Caicos. We took our family here for Christmas. We had a wonderful time at this resort. We stayed in Key West Village in the two story/two bedroom units. They worked perfectly for our family of 13 (adult 'kids' and grandkids). The units, the grounds, the restaurants....were all so nice and very clean. We felt very safe everywhere we went. The staff is so friendly and just amazingly accommodating. Good food at the restaurants. There were just too many people to mention but here are a few... Coco at the Caribbean Loyalty office. She was so much help with questions we had around managing our Sandals account. The Reflections restaurant was our favorite breakfast spot and the Seafood Feast dinner was great....Vanesha was our favorite. She met us with a smile and was so accommodating. We spent a lot of time on the beach but also enjoyed time at the Italian Village pool. Damano at the Italian Village bar is the best! He made the best drinks! Plus he always had a smile and friendly conversation. We really enjoyed him. We paid extra to have a private family Christmas dinner on the beach/Arizona Boardwalk. So worth it! This was exceptional! We had 3 private waiters and our own private bar! Great menu. I feel very badly that I did not get the names of the 3 guys that waited on us! We also had a boat cruise that we booked through the Island Routes desk. We went on Caribbean Cruising with our crew being Jerry and Evans….they were GREAT. The crew made every effort to help us see and do the things we asked. The light lunch was great and it was overall just a really nice experience.
Our Wedding in Paradise .. We've been together a long time (17 years) and when we finally decided to get married we knew there was only one place we wanted to be - we LOVE the Caribbean! A week before Christmas, we said our "I Do's" in paradise at Beaches Turks & Caicos! We said our personal vows surrounded by 31 of our closest friends and family (truly the people we love most in the world) beachside near the turquoise water we love so much .. The whole day was just incredible! .. and for a little while, I wasn’t focused on clients, or work, or the kids, or the dog, or the house. For those precious hours, the only thing that mattered was US. It really was more beautiful and special than I could have ever dreamed. Our destination wedding took place at Beaches Turks & Caicos in the beachfront Schooner’s gazebo - this beachfront location is the perfect mix of tropical gardens with gorgeous aqua-water backdrop, and I've had my eye on this location from previous visits. The ceremony was only about 20 minutes long, but I will never forget a single second. With our 2 adult girls at my side, we were driven to the location in the wedding “chariot,” and walked the "aisle" along with the girls and our 2 adult boys, to a piano version of “Marry Me” by Train. When I looked at my fiance's face full of love as I walked down the aisle, and really took in that moment, it almost stopped me in my tracks lol … it’s something I’ll hold in my heart forever. The late-afternoon time was perfect. Just a gentle, reassuring breeze, and the absolute ideal 3:30 pm light as we exchanged our personal, hand written vows (his were better than mine, lol). The pastor spoke about real, natural love - the kind that isn’t forced, the kind that simply *is* - he totally nailed it because that is exactly who we are. We were pronounced husband and wife and walked out to “I’m a Believer,” (yes, from Shrek lol) and after a few group photos our guests headed to a cocktail hour with drinks, small bites, and a live steel pan drummer. Meanwhile, we took photos on the beach with the kids, and then it was time to start the PARTY. Our sons entered to “Thunderstruck,” and our girls to “Dancing Queen,” and then we made our entrance to “This Thing Called Love.” We ate, we drank, we danced the night away... The night was perfect. And having several days before the wedding meant we got to spend real time with our friends and family - not just a couple of quick hours. It was all SO MUCH FREAKING FUN. I will cherish these memories forever. As you can imagine, I HIGHLY recommend a destination wedding here! Everyone at Beaches was awesome. They make it so easy and stress free. I got everything I wanted - I customized our menu, our music, our tables… everything. I feel like it was also unbelievably reasonable, even with some upgrades, and the entire event staff was outstanding. Our servers, bartenders, photographer, DJ, planner, and wedding team gave us exactly the day we dreamed of. And I'd like to give a shout out to some VERY special folks .. Sushane our Pre-arrival Wedding Planner was fantastic. She is full of life and positivity, and she never once got annoyed with me when I forgot to do something or get back to her in a timely manner. She was patient, and kind, and despite the effects of hurricane Melissa on her own life our pre arrival calls were always about me and the wedding and always uplifting and exciting .. she was great! Shineya - our On-site Wedding Coordinator - We first met Shineya at our arrival meeting where we went over EVERY detail of the wedding, and she helped us understand how the day would go and allowed us to make some changes and confirm decisions .. Shineya is a total professional who knows her stuff, and I felt we were in very good hands. She made our day extra special by arranging some surprise table enhancements and I really appreciated her staying nearby through out the whole wedding to make sure everything went smoothly. She is amazing! Ramon - our Photographer - We first met Ramon at our arrival meeting. He was very nice but you never know how good a photographer is going to be until you see their photos right??? WELL let me tell you we LOVED LOVED LOVED our photos so much that we purchased an extra 40 about our package of 95 lol .. Ramon is a fantastic photographer and we were so lucky to have him! .. Ramon, "hold it! hold it" LOL. Chin - our DJ - We first met Chil at our arrival meeting too. Chin received my selection of "must play" songs prior to arriving, and when we sat down to go over them he made many suggestions based on what we sent him and every suggestion was exactly what I'd want played - he totally nailed the music that night, and we had the entire group up dancing from the minute they finished dinner! We were all having such a good time that we even extended an hour past our time .. I would highly recommend anyone reading this request him for your wedding DJ! Our Chef/Servers/Bartenders - Our Chef for the wedding was Daniel (delicious amazing chef from Sky) - Petrina & Decalva are servers from Sky Restaurant, and Javon & Shamor are bartenders from Sky & HabbiGail from Arizona's .. We met these lovely people at the restaurants on our last visit and fell in love with them! Not only are they fantastic servers & excellent bartenders, we realized they are GOOD People. The kind of people we wanted at our wedding! We got to chatting and explained we were having our destination wedding there and asked if we could request them and they said we could, so we did - AND THEY CAME!! Not ONLY did they all do a great job which of course we knew they would, they were all SMILES, and super fun, and even got into our music! They really seemed like they were having as good a time as we were!! We even made them come up and dance with us! They brought such great energy and a positive presence that really enhanced the party .. And omg JOEY the bartender - he's got the moves and really got the group going! I am so grateful to all of these wonderful people! If a destination wedding is in your heart or someone you love is thinking of it, please consider doing it at Beaches! .. and please don't stress or sweat about the little things, because they got you. .. It was the best decision we made to celebrate the most important, special day of our lives here. xo Cheryl (from New York)
I rarely write reviews, but when I do, they are positive. I strongly believe negative reviews can be incredibly damaging to businesses, and until now I’ve never felt compelled to write one. Unfortunately, this experience warrants honesty. Before anything else, I want to give an enormous thank-you to our butlers, Alex and Jadae....they are the reason for an additional star and not just one! They truly made our vacation. They were kind, attentive, fun, and consistently went above and beyond to help us. Every staff member we encountered worked extremely hard and was genuinely lovely. None of what follows is a reflection of the frontline employees — they were wonderful. My boys enjoyed interacting with all of them and they had a fantastic time. The issues lie entirely with management and corporate decisions. We have been loyal Sandals/Beaches guests since 1996 and have traveled to Beaches Turks & Caicos several years with our family and lots of friends. One year our group had 62 people from home there. This year, we were told we had earned a “free” week. I want to be very clear for future guests: this is not free. It is based on an average of past stays and only applied to my husband and me, despite the fact that we have traveled with our entire family for years. We have previously stayed multiple times in the Key West 4-Bedroom Villa, but understandably our “average” would not cover that category in 2026. We instead booked a 2-Bedroom Seaside Villa, which is advertised as accommodating eight people. In reality, it does not. We arrived with six people and it was already extremely tight. Midweek, my mother and aunt joined us for four nights, bringing our total to eight guests. Knowing space would be an issue, I inquired about upgrading for those four nights and was fully prepared to pay — I know better than to expect anything free here. The quote I received was staggering: $29,000 for four nights. To put this in perspective, our average stay value was around $30,000, and we had already paid an additional $7,000 for our family. We were already in for $37,000 — and they wanted another $29,000 for four nights. I found this not only insulting but borderline predatory, especially given our decades-long loyalty and the hundreds of thousands of dollars we’ve spent with this brand over the years. The back-and-forth negotiations dragged on for two full days of our vacation. Eventually, they offered either $12,000 for the 4-Bedroom Villa or $6,000 to split our family, placing two people in the lowest category Caribbean room. At that point, I had an epiphany: I was done. We chose to pack everyone into our existing villa for four nights. It was uncomfortable and chaotic with 4 boys (18-21) but I refused to give them another dollar — and I will never give them another dollar again. What made it even worse was knowing that the 4-Bedroom Villa sat empty the entire time. Letting it sit vacant rather than offering a loyal family a reasonable upgrade speaks volumes about their customer service and business practices. Beyond this situation, it’s impossible to ignore how dated the resort has become. It feels run-down, and the food was consistently disappointing. Had this not been our so-called “free” trip, I would have been absolutely furious paying full price for this experience. My advice: spend your money elsewhere. There are far better options at a fraction of the cost. For example, the Hyatt Ziva in the Dominican Republic is cleaner, newer, has better food and drinks, and costs about half as much. This review pains me to write — but after nearly 30 years of loyalty, it was necessary.
For the money I would say make a different choice!! We really expected to be wowed and we absolutely were not. We stayed at the Carribean Village which is in no way a 5 star hotel. Three star at best. It is very worn. Ameneties include beverages in your room, there were none, and we had to call three times to get beer and wine for the room. Also, for New Year's eve if we wanted to go to an ala carte restaurant (and not the buffet) we were required to buy a bottle of wine to get a reservation. This is ridiculous and despite talking to several people manager etc. they refused to waive this. Yes, we were force to purchase a bottle of wine at an all inclusive for which we were already paying for beverages. Also they take your picture for "free" but to purchase the pictures the prices were very high (pictures from a 10 minute photo shoot). The grounds are very pretty and the beach is nice but easily matched at other Carribean destinations that are more reasonably priced. On a positive note the staff was generally courteous and the food was good (although often served warm not hot).
Absolutely love when we can get away to Beaches at Turks and Caicos. You can find whatever fits your style with the energetic areas like Italian Village or the chill area like Carribean village. Carribean has become our favorite but really you can't pick wrong and you are close to everything. If you read the post about being required to buy a bottle of wine to eat at al a carte restaurant on New years eve - that is incorrect. You don't have to pay for anything extra that you aren't interested in. They were offering special bottles of wine for New Years eve at extra cost (with some of proceeds going to the charity Sandals Foundation) but you were allowed to enjoy your night with the included drinks. And they will make virgin drinks and mocktails that are great too. We never have had a bad experience and want to share the special attention that the staff give. We were celebrating our daughter's 20th birthday and they made her feel like a star. You've got to Schooner's - one of our favorites for breakfast or dinner. And they have a great birthday song that will make you smile. The hostess at Schooner's gave us a night that we couldn't have done without her special attention - thanks so much Scateline. She is just another reason we look forward to a trip in a couple of years back to Beaches.
We had a wonderful experience at Beaches Turks & Caicos! It was a very busy time to visit--we were there over New Year's Eve--and while there were many guests on-site, because of the huge size of the resort it never as crowded as I would have expected. Guests definitely go out and cover all the pool chairs with towels before 7am despite signage politely requesting not to, but this just seems to be an unfortunate reality of travel these days. I'm not sure what the staff can do about this if people are determined to break the rules. Still, our family of four was usually able to find seats on the beach or in more hidden away pool areas. For us, the beach is the reason we were there anyway, and it is absolutely gorgeous! The water is so clear and beautifully blue--I would have looked at it for days on end. Even with the crowds, it never took more than a minute or two to get a drink, and the range and quality of options at the bars was quite good. Probably the only place crowding was an issue was at the gym; several of the treadmills were out of service so it was a little tricky to get access to a machine. We haven't stayed in too many all-inclusives, but we have done some Disney Cruises. We thought the food was overall very good, generally on par with the cruises. Our children are old enough for the high-end Carribean restaurant, Sapadilla's, and that meal was fantastic! We also had some really good pizza at Dino's and delicious sticky toffee pudding from the Cricketer's pub. And the hibachi dinner at Kimono's was a lot of fun. The breakfast buffets were pretty much the same each day and maybe the least memorable aspect of dining, but still included plentiful options and perfectly good quality options. The New Year's dinner menu (which was the same across all of the a la carte restaurants on 12/31) and festivities were truly impressive! Shakem at Cafe de Paris made our evening unforgettable! We loved the fireworks show after counting down to 2026. The staff seemed singularly focused on ensuring guests had a wonderful time at the party and throughout our stay. We were truly grateful for their kindness and hospitality. I can't come up with any complaints about our experience at Beaches! Many thanks to the concierge staff in the Italian Village who got us oriented and set with our plans, and everyone who waited on us, cooked our food, made our drinks, serviced our room, laundered our towels, took us snorkeling, and generally went above and beyond to give us a wonderful vacation. I hope we are able to come back soon!
This was my first visit to Turks & Caicos ever, and from the time my family and I arrived, the hospitality from the Beaches staff made us feel so welcomed. When I got to my hotel room, there were birthday balloons that decorated my bed posts. There was also a fruit plate, cupcakes, and a card from the Beaches crew. It was all so thoughtful. The resort had so many restaurants and activities to choose from, that it was impossible to be bored on this trip. I loved the live entertainment. I also had a lot of fun taking part in the silent disco. One of my fave parts of the trip is when the wonderful chef at Beaches agreed to cook oxtail for my birthday. Everyone was sooo nice! I'd definitely come back to Beaches again*
Enjoyed our annual family Christmas vacation at Beached Turks & Caicos. The resort was very well run, our family never ran out of things to do or places to lounge. Never felt too crowded or busy & overwhelming either so our boys (12 & 14) enjoyed independence. Safe, friendly, helpful. All inclusive and flexible food options made it stress free for us! Explored different pools and villages each day and the beach and ocean, our family is already considering returning next year. We have been to other Caribbean resorts but this one is our favorite. Even the checkout process and Departure lounge was helpful. Just be warned the airport and customs in TIC is not yet large enough to handle to volume of travelers and was the roughest part of our journey with long wait times, limited seating and space upon arrival and departure. But the resort experience was unbeatable especially for families!
I vacationed with my family at Beaches Turks & Caicos a before Christmas. It was our second time visiting with our three kids, all under age 6, and my father-in-law. We loved it last year, but this year things just felt off. The food: The food was noticeably worse, even though it was the same menu items. Four people in our group either vomited or had diarrhea. I’m not sure if they’re adding something to the food or what, but this did not happen last year. Activities: Last year we were able to rent floaties from the activity center. This year, however, we were told floaties are no longer given out. The only items you can rent are board games and balls, which need to be returned within a day. They will inflate your own floaty if you bring it. However, I had asked about floaties during the booking process and was told they were available for borrowing, so I didn’t bring mine. Staff: Everyone just seemed very jaded. None of the staff seemed happy to be there, especially the dive shop employees. Same as last year, they appeared extremely bored and did not seem enthusiastic about helping. Miscommunication: I signed up for a glass-bottom boat trip on my third day at check-in. Our entire party was excited and looking forward to it. On the day of our reservation, we showed up 15 minutes early as recommended, including pulling the kids out of kids camp, only to be told that the trip was canceled due to “mechanical issues.” There were no calls from the concierge and no advance notice - how were we supposed to know? As many others have said, the buffet food is pretty terrible, but waiting for the sit down restaurants takes forever. So you either get quick, subpar food or wait a long time for slightly better food. I will say we had great experiences at the spa and the kids club, so I’m giving an extra star for those. Unfortunately, those positives are not enough to keep us coming back.
Just got back from a 5 night stay wih my husband and 3 sons ages 22,22,19. We had a great time. One of our best vacations. We stayed in the Key West Village. We originally booked a one bedroom but were surprised and upgraded to a 2 bedroom. Just a wondersul surprise! Made our vacation. Thank you Megel!! We loved everything about this resort. Lots to do if you wanted things to do and lots of quiet areas if you wanted to relax. We mostly spent our days the the Italian Village pool. We loved the liveliness, music and swim up bar. We ate at many restuaurants. Highly recommend Kimonos. We ate most breakfasts at Bayside. This is a buffet. Never had a wait. We also enjoyed Mario's, Schooner's, Neptune's, Sky, Bafefoot on the Beach. All very good. Also never a wait or very minimal. My boys also made friends. There are plenty of people in the college age group travelling with their parents. They would all meet out at night and go to Karaoke and Club Liquid. Even got a group chat going. I seriously felt like we were in Disney during this trip. Everything was immaculate, the room upgrade was magic, and the service was terrific. Most of the staff is super nice and caring. A couple of staff shout outs: Megel: You made our trip with the upgrade. Thank you for takig care of us after our 1.5 day travel to get to Turks and Caicos due to snow in our hometown. So amazing. Marlon: The best server at Kimonos. He knows how to keep the wine flowing! Super fun night. Ricardo: Italian Village Swim up bar. Always so upbeat and friendly. Thank you for the great drinks. Simone: Italian Village Circle Bar outside of Mario's. We really enjoyed talking with you. Love your smile. Andre: Server at Mario's. We enjoyed our dinner there because of your great service. Dale: Our photgrapher. So friendly. Made our photo shoot fun. Love Beaches! We will be back!
We just returned from the hotel stayed in the Italian pool walkout. The room was nice and our housekeeper Wilma was great. We have been going here for fifteen years but this may have been our last visit. The few staff we met that went above and beyond and were super happy were from Jamaica. Jojo and the ladies at the loyalty lounge amazing. Andrea at reflection, johnross at Mario’s, Norman at cricketeer. Rosemarie at schooners, O’Neil at petit chateau, and Prophet at the dive shop we will miss them very much. Take time to talk to Prophet very kind person. That being said the food was not great with the exception of the petit chateau and schooners. Towels are hard to come by they say not to reserve your chairs do it anyway. If you want a great excursion Dawayne and Danny on the dynasty all day private charter. You can book through hotel. If you have concierge and are a group of ten get dinner reservations if not you have to go at five to avoid long lines. The vendors on the beach relentless. They constantly ask and bug and hang out on the sun chairs they argue and yell with each other they even go up on the dock. They don’t stop. I feel like they have changed many menus eliminated some great things like the buffet at Mario’s used to have ice sculptures amazing food and service now they no longer do that. Maybe better management is needed because many staff seemed unhappy. The best management was excellent back in 2011-2015. I feel beaches Negril had a much better vibe more friendly and fun and great food. The beach is stunning but that’s about it.
I may be biased, as this was our 10th trip to Beaches TCI. But as always, we had an amazing time, helped along by numerous things: 1) Grace Bay beach continues to be top 5 in the world for size, beauty (including nearby snorkeling right off the beach), and cleanliness. 2) Staff - Management is always wonderful. Folks like Tanya S and Ghislain B have been at the resort for many years. We always take time to chat with them for a while. Outside of management, the staff is almost always nice and great to chat with (I say almost because if you can't understand some people have a bad day here and there, check your empathy levels). Andrew at the swim up bar near the Caribbean portion of the resort (Arizona pool) is amazing, and met a young gentleman at Schooners for breakfast named Cleveland. Very outgoing and took time to chat with us. 3) Pools - Whether you want a quiet pool or a busy upbeat party pool, Beaches TCI has them all. My son is aged out of the whole waterpark thing at 21, but he still has a great time with his parents when we come. That said, for the younger families, the waterpark was always a hit when we did come with my son when he was younger. WIth my son being older, we will be trying some Sandals resorts in the near future, BUT we know we will come back to Beaches TCI for all of the above reasons, even without kids. :)
Beaches canceled our trip in November after Hurricane Melissa and rescheduled us for December where we were unable to reach the resort due to a snowstorm in New York that canceled nearly 2000 flights nationwide. When speaking with Beaches about this they convinced me to rebook my trip with additional fees and costs for flights would be added on, charging me an additional $2300 for Beaches and I would be responsible for the booking of the flights because the flights had already been used been taken over by the Airlines. After discussing this with my family we decided it would be best to cancel the vacation to Beaches resort and rebook at a later time. Now mind you we have planned this vacation starting in January and are still paying for it now. Beaches explained that the vacation booked was considered non- refundable because we did not make the reservation date on November, which they canceled. Now I have to talk with Tripmate and it sounds like my claim will be denied. Total reimbursement for a $10,000 vacation is $108. Cancellations of a vacation is only acceptable when Beaches is doing it. Staff are very patronizing and rude when trying to cancel a reservation, even if you want to reschedule for a later date. Worst customer service ever experienced. Stay away from this place!
5th time back to Beaches Turks and certainly keeps getting better. Staff as always makes the vacation….Jamon at Mario’s was an amazing server so much that we had to make our last dinner with him. Damien from the entertainment staff was always engaging and made the stay special even when it was just Pennsylvania vs Tennessee in a rainy game of volleyball and our housekeeper, Donna in the carribean village went out of her way every day to make sure we were taken care of. And we can’t forget the entire dive shop and boat crew for another week of amazing diving!! Much love from the US to TCI from Corey, Karen, June and family!!
Very impressed, Resort was stunning. Every staff person we were in contact was so appreciative that we were there. Every restaurant was great. So many places to eat, so many bars to get a drink, you could not ask for better service
We stayed Sunday December 7th through Sunday the 14th with a family of six (five adults and one 8-year old). Leaving a lengthy review below for all those who are doing research! Before I get into it, I highly encourage you to write down the names of every service worker who you enjoyed. I didn’t find out until day 3 that there’s an incentive program for staff who are specifically recognized either through the app, on Google, or Trip Advisor. I wish this had been made more known, because we had excellent service from about 90% of the staff we interacted with. 9% was neutral, and only 1% was “bad” (more like off putting). We likely interacted with close to 300 staff during the week, so I’m not concerned at all about that 10%. I’ve worked in hospitality for over 13 years, and would consider their service far above par. Overall I highly recommend Beaches Turks and Caicos. Although it is absolutely geared towards families with children, our mostly-adult group had a blast. We stayed in two rooms in the French Village, and if I were to return, this is likely the area I would choose to stay again. This time of year was so beautiful with all the Christmas lights. It basically stayed at 80-84 the entire trip, with only 1-2 days having about 10 minutes worth of rain. Before I get into all the food/activities/amenities, please remember that spending time relaxing and doing nothing is one of the best parts of vacation. The rooms, courtyards, and restaurants are great to sit back and enjoy. Airport and customs was super easy. I’ve flown internationally multiple times and found PLS to be one of the fastest experiences, both entering and exiting the country. The shuttle ride to the resort was quick, and check in was relatively smooth. You can’t check in til 3pm at the earliest, and we did have to wait an additional ~half hour or so until our room was ready. You can leave your bags at the front and go enjoy the resort. We went and got a bite to eat and sat by one of the pool areas while we waited. Room was comfortable. The only gripe I have with the rooms was the pillows being uncomfortable and our bathroom fan not working. But honestly, you’re here to enjoy everywhere else. Room is just basecamp, so we really weren’t concerned about either. Mini fridge is stocked full of sodas and juices, with the option to get certain wines and beers stocked as well. Room service comes 2-3 times a day. There was one point, and only one that I know of, that room service showed up at like 7-7:30 at night. It caught me completely off guard, and have never experienced room service that late at night. We put our do not disturb sign out in the mornings and evenings, that way towels and mini fridge could get restocked during the afternoon while we were out. Pools 💦 First I want to touch on towels and chairs, because that was something I read a lot of concerns about. We almost never had an issue finding a towel, and we proactively looked for towels before heading down to the beach at each of the towel locations (there’s 2 at almost every pool area). I think there was maybe one occasion where we couldn’t get a towel, and we had plenty of time to air dry on our walk back. I found a chair at every water feature - pools, waterpark, and ocean - with zero issue. Every time I was on the beach we managed to find a covered chair as well. French Village is hands down the best pool from my experience. Italian was always packed and full of kids so we didn’t go into that one at all. Italian also has some of the most traffic because it’s one of the main entrances to the beach. Caribbean has an adult only hot tub overlooking the beach, which we LOVED. We went into Caribbean pool once while waiting for our pizza at Napoli’s and enjoyed the swim up bar. Key West is very private and we only walked through the area once. French Village at night time was always so empty, and we loved getting to enjoy some of the open air theater shows from the hot tub. I thought the water temps were perfect everywhere we went, but I’m used to swimming in 68 degree spring water back home. Water park 🛝 We had an 8-year old in our party so we spent quite a bit at the waterpark. Lazy River is great, but it can be quite busy. However we had zero issue getting a tube every time we went down to the area. Sometimes you’d have to pull one off the river or look along the path but there was always plenty. If you truly want to float and not be bothered you’re better off bringing your own floatie from home or one of the MANY that get left at the resort, and going down to the beach than the lazy river. Plenty of fun slides and areas for all ages. Beach / Activities 🏝️🌊 Loved the beach, minus some of the people trying to sell you on hair braiding and activities. We entered in through the Caribbean area to avoid most of them. There was man in particular who actually upset us - and tried pressuring us into giving him the fish we caught on our deep sea fishing excursion. He was pretty pushy and had to be told no 3-4 times. Found a chair every time. We had red flags one day and yellow flags two days. We went out earlier in the day (between 9:30-11ish) to check and based our plans around the flags. I will say if you want to do any of the activities that require lessons (or have the ability to do them solo, like with the hobies) - do so early in your stay so you can have more flexibility later on. We did several of the activities - glass bottom boat tour, kayak rental, hobie sailing, and family photo shoots. The glass bottom tour was too full, and I would recommend the clear kayaks instead. We also booked a private deep sea fishing and snorkeling excursion at the Caribbean Village. We got to keep several of the fish and brought them back to eat at Schooners. Chef Chris did a phenomenal job, and came out multiple times to talk to us. Absolutely fantastic meal and service. The snorkeling was hands down the best part of the entire trip. Our captain took us out to the coral reef and we were able to snorkel for about a half hour, and even helped us take some underwater photos. We also did the family photos for “free” — however it’s $22 per photo and they are not edited. You’re almost better off bringing a high quality phone, a selfie stick, and doing them yourself (or heck pay another guest to come grab photos lol). One of my favorite activities was the silent disco/silent headphone dance party. I’ve done these in the past, and I had an absolute ball. 10/10 recommend if you enjoy dancing. I do wish they offered more of these earlier in the evening. We went to one of the ones that started around 8-9ish, however there’s another offered way past our bedtimes 😅 Restaurants 🍴🍽️ I would consider myself a foodie. I spent several hours reviewing every restaurant and its menu, and created an in depth ranking sheet with all the meals I wanted to try. I got about 80% of my list done. I’m just going to highlight some of my favorites. Le Petit Chateau - Absolutely my FAVORITE spot in the entire resort. I tried about 60% of the menu between two visits, with our table sharing our dishes. Hands down the best customer service here from Shakeem. He is truly a star, and his hospitality set the bar incredibly high the first night of our stay. We spent our last dinner meal here, and thoroughly enjoyed Hayon’s service. Chef Ailon came out and spoke with us, and I was so touched by the conversation we had. He is literally a French chef, and I am so grateful we got the chance to meet him. Reflections - I actually did not have any of the buffets on my list, however Reflections definitely had the best buffet. Part of our crew went here 4-5 times between breakfast and dinner. The omelette bar was 10/10. Napoli’s - I’m going to be dreaming about the Anglio pizza for weeks. It was so good. Schooners - We did breakfast and dinner here. Dinner was phenomenal, and Chef Chris absolutely killed it with our fish from our deep sea trip. Breakfast really was not anything standout at any of the spots with the exception of Reflections omelet bar. All of the menus and buffets were pretty compostable. You’re better off saving room for lunch and dinner in my opinion, however I’m not a big breakfast person to begin with 😂 Sapodilla’s was recommended to us multiple times, and I think that’s ultimately why we were so disappointed with the experience there. The food was great, however the customer service was the 1% borderline bad/off putting. I loved Soy and Kimonos. Food was fantastic. I don’t recommend Kimonos on days you have low energy/had too much to drink the night before (or earlier in the day lol). Your chef needs you to be ready to have fun - and one of the folks in our party was too hungover to enjoy the experience 🥲 Service Shoutouts 🙌🙌 The following folks (and several that I missed) deserve a shoutout: Shakeem - La Petit Chateau - hands down the best service of the entire week. Susan - Dino’s - great service Stanley - Dino’s - great service Anika - Giuseppe’s - great service Nasha - Reflections - a close second on best service. My mom added her on Facebook and is trying to convince her to take a trip to the Midwest in the future. Susan - Jerk Truck - great service Chef Chris - Schooners - absolutely phenomenal. Chris did a fantastic job cooking our fish and I loved the personal touches at our table. Claude - Schooners - great service Rosemarie - Schooners - great service Genier - Caribbean Village / went out of his way to open door for us!!! Garnet - Caribbean Village / walked with us to get us to the right restaurant along his route. Happy / Chef - Arizona’s - Happy had great service, the the Chef was kind enough to serve us nacho cheese during dinner service when it’s not typically offered. Odane - Arizona’s - Odane was one of our favorites. The 8-year old in our party was mesmerized by him bringing multiple drinks on his head to the table throughout the night. Berthonise- Sky - great service Mannasee- Napoli’s / Caribbean Pool - great service Anderson / Prophet - Aqua rentals - great service Joseph - Photos - great service Hayon- Petit Chateau - loved Hayon!!! So friendly and full of smiles. Ailan- Petit Chateau Chef!!! - this was hands down the best way to end our stay here. Chef Ailan has true love for his work, and I was overjoyed to have met him. Jumar- gosh I hope I got his name right. Jumar was one of the first and last folks we interacted with when arriving and departing. He was so friendly and helpful. So folks - that’s it! If you’re still here - kudos to you for reading my novel. Happy to answer any questions you may have 😊
The resort does a wonderful job handling food allergies. When we arrived we met with the chef who provides sheets of paper to fill out with the name of the restaurant, what items you would like to eat and your food allergy. When you show up, the restaurant already had modified the food to meet your restrictions. I have a gluten allergy and most restaurants would provide a bread basket and separate bread/condiments for me. It was a pleasure not to have to stress about every meal, or wonder if I would find something to eat. The coffee shop even has a separate case with allergy friendly foods, well marked.
When me and my now wife we thinking about where and how we wanted to get married we came across Beaches Turks and Caicos. Small, Simple and beautiful. We had help every step of the way. And when we arrived we met with the onsite wedding planner, Erika. She was amazing! She helped us with last minute updates, song changes, decorations, flowers, seating, you name it she made it happen. Everything went very smooth and we couldn’t be more thankful! And if Erika wasn’t able to take a call the whole wedding planning team was right there to step in without missing a beat and everything was communicated flawlessly! We are so happy with our experience and if you want to get married at beaches Turks and Caicos, make sure you get ERKIA!
The dive team and watersports department do a Great job of making sure everyone has an incredible experience. Johnny goes above and beyond making sure his team is ready for each guests needs. Cleon, Andrew,Almina, Rico,Alex and Lancelot are the best you will find at making your diving a great part of your trip
From our five visits to Beaches Turks & Caicos, some were better than others, but the last one was almost perfect. The resort holds itself to a high standard, staff is great, they are constantly renovating and improving. During the past visits, we tried all villages but Italian, and this time we got unexpected upgrade and did stay at Italian. The room was great and spacious, we really enjoyed it. We really enjoyed French restaurant (as always), food was tasty and our waitress Dacian was great. Also will recommend Sky and Marios. Few observations and comparisons with past trips. I already mentioned it last year and it is still the case - while dining experience in general was good, the restaurant menus got a bit shorter, especially at Soy. We understand that it is probably more effective this way, but miss variety of sushi they had few years ago. The night entertainment this year was a nice surprise - all shows were revamped and some brand new, and all were very good. I must say that we preferred old pool show over the new beach show, but, that's a matter of personal preferences. Another good thing is that quality of Internet connection seems to improve. In the past there were times when it was not possible to connect, now it is much better. Weather was great, warm and sunny, with occasional 5 min rain which we simply ignored (only once it rained for 30 min or so). Still, it did help that pools (at least the one in the Italian village) were slightly heated. The only small drawback was that TVs in our room lost signal in the middle of our stay and issue was not fixed. Apparently it was an issue with TV service provider (though we got some conflicting updates from the staff), still it would be nice to have it fixed sooner. Will return next year, looking forward to check out new restaurants and pools in a new Treasure Beach village which will be opened soon (it looks impressive already).
We had a great multi-generation vacation / celebration at Beaches Turks & Caicos. Our group of 11 ranged from 4 to 74. The water is crystal clear, the beach is beautiful, the rooms nice and spotless, and the service was friendly. The landscaping was incredible. We watched them clean & polish the outdoor walkways with commercial floor cleaning machine early in the mornings. This trip was over Thanksgiving. We had no problems entering immigration & customs at PLS. It took 1 hour from exiting the plane to arriving at Beaches. We were concerned with a few negative reviews (fast track anyone?) , but we did not encounter any issues. At the resort, there were no issues over 6 days in finding a lounge at any pool and you could take your pick at the beach. The restaurant selection is vast, it pays to review the menus for selection and any age or dress code restrictions BEFORE you arrive. We had a gala 50th Anniversary Dinner at Mario's, and our server Jovan was on-point making sure we were well fed! My tongue had a party for my mouth eating the Seafood Tagine at Neptune's! The seafood at Sapodilla's was just as good. Surprisingly lamb chops reigned supreme over duck and / or steak at every venue. The food truck and abundant ice cream and snacks satisfied the tweens & teens (grandpa too) The snorkeling trips are fun and everyone including the 4 year old had a great time. We saw Hawksbill turtles on each trip (we went 3 times). The camps were great for the kids so the parents could have a break. Grandma was the Queen of the Water Slides. We had fun everyday.
Great place. But, the BEST part was our butler, Corey Sherman. This man will make your trip spectacular! Everything ready and waiting for you. And he goes above and beyond anticipating things you might need. I miss him already. Request him when booking.
I'm happy to see my friends from RD to do the entertainment and dancers,Katherine dancer,Mariela singer,Andy dancer, jerina dancer,Eric dancer capitan, julio dancer,Roberto dancer and isidro Michael Jackson
My wife received numerous bed bug bites on our first night there. We asked for a new room, which they declined to provide, resulting in me getting a few bites after they assured us the problem had been addressed. Neither one of us had a good nights sleep for fear of getting bit again. Adding insult to injury, my wife and one of our friends ordered the same sushi rolls and both became violently ill the night before we left. Upon checkout clerk stated we were good to go. When we checked into the Travel lounge in preparation for our trip to the airport, I was notified we hadn’t checked out and needed to go back to front desk. Front desk pulled up my account and stated we owed $400. After finally checking my military ID, which they declined to do at checkin, proper military discounts were applied and account closed. Needless to say my trip home with a bug bitten and sick wife was not very much fun for either of us. Sandals/Beaches has lost customers for life. I can confidently say my friends will not be returning either.
We went over the Thanksgiving break for 5 nights with a group of 10 of us. We had six adults and four children ranging from age 9 to 14. We were really looking forward to this trip as many people had recommended Beaches. When we arrived we were taken aback by the lack of cleanliness in the rooms and facilities. Upon arrival, my sister and brother-in-law found roaches in their room. When they called the front desk for someone to come take care of it, someone came and simply "swept" away the bugs. Nothing was sprayed or done to prevent further roaches. The roaches and other bugs continued. We slept in a room with a trundle bed and the bed was like sleeping on plywood. It's not a real mattress but rather a hard "cushion" on a bench. My children, who usually can sleep anywhere, had a difficult time sleeping on them and we eventually had to take turns with them in the king sized bed. I called ahead a couple months before our trip and was told that we would be able to make dinner reservations two weeks in advance. We arrived on Thanksgiving and I wanted to make sure we could have dinner as a family that night. Two weeks before our trip, I called and was told I in fact could not make dinner reservations. When we arrived at the resort absolutely everything was booked for that night. The concierge said we could eat at the buffet at Guiseppe’s. Fine. Well, we ended up having lunch there when we arrived because it was the only thing open near us in the French Village and the food was absolutely awful. It had clearly been sitting out for a while and nothing looked fresh or appetizing. We did not want to eat dinner there that night. After trying most of the restaurants, we ended up at Reflections buffet around 8pm and the food there was even worse than Guiseppe’s. I felt like I was eating cafeteria food from my kids' school. We couldn’t believe the level of food and complete lack of service given what we had paid for this trip. When I asked for water after sitting at our table for a good 20 minutes, I was met with an eye roll. Also, there is no room service option. The next day we started at the pool. It was impossible to get a lounge chair. There is no food service at the pool. No one comes around to take your order for drinks or food. If you want something to drink or eat you have to get up and go to the bar or go inside a restaurant. There are no plastic lids for cold to-go cup drinks. If you want an iced coffee, they put it in a plastic cup with no lid or you can put it in a paper cup with a *paper* lid that eventually starts to disintegrate. All the bathrooms that I used near the pool and beach were completely outdated and dirty. No one comes and mops up the wet floor. There were paper towels everywhere. The locks to the stalls don’t work. The toilet seats are absolutely disgusting and need to be completely replaced. This is especially true for the bathroom near Arizona’s restaurant. On our second day we got a text from Beaches asking to rate our experience on a scale of 1-5. My sister-in-law gave it a 2 and then was contacted by Natalie, the concierge director, to speak in person about why her experience was so low. My SIL set a time to meet with Natalie that afternoon. My SIL showed up and waited 20 minutes and Natalie never showed. Not only that, but Natalie never apologized or got in touch with her after that. Later that day both my husband and nephew started vomiting and having diarrhea. They both had food poisoning and didn’t leave the hotel room for two entire days. It was quite a task begging for room service to get some toast and plain rice sent to them. It took hours. In addition, my nephew had vomited all over the floor and my SIL asked for someone to come disinfect it. When someone came to clean, there was no disinfectant, they simply used water and paper towels to clean the area. My SIL had to go find Lysol wipes to clean it. The following day my son came down with intense ear pain and was diagnosed with swimmer’s ear by the hotel doctor. This was clearly caused by the dirty water in the pools. I never once saw anyone cleaning the pools or checking the chlorine levels. The restaurants were truly subpar. The service was horrible. No one is eager to help or serve you. No one wears gloves. The only good experience we had was with Bob the waiter at Kimonos. He was super helpful and accommodating. The food there was somewhat good. The sushi place, Soy, was awful. Portions are tiny and the service was slow. Neptune’s was fine for lunch, nothing exciting. Mario’s dinner was fine also, but it was annoying that the appetizers were all buffet style as we were trying to avoid any buffets after experiencing food poisoning. There is no extensive kids menu at any place. There are only 1-2 options and they aren’t your standard nuggets, pizza, burger, etc. In addition, they don’t advertise any gluten free options but apparently if you want something gluten free you have to register in advance of every place you’re going to eat and they will prepare something for you. Luckily when my family went to the pizza place, I randomly decided to ask if they could make me a gluten free pizza and they did. Why wouldn’t they put that on the menu? It would be nice to know ahead of time which places are celiac friendly. We really enjoy tennis and pickleball and unfortunately many of the lights don’t work at the courts. It got dark around 5pm and it was the perfect time for us to play out of the heat, but we couldn’t see. The one positive of this whole place is the beach. The water is gorgeous and clear and warm. So if you want to enjoy the beach at Turks and Caicos, I advise staying elsewhere. Maybe if you pay a ton and stay in a private villa in the key west section and have a butler, you’ll enjoy this place. But if you’re just a regular person paying what I think is a lot of money, do not even think about spending it here. I’ve been to much better resorts for half the price. Please do your research before coming here!
My family of 19 stayed at Beaches ☀️🕶️🏖️ in Turks and Caicos for the Thanksgiving holiday. We had four days of fun in the sun! I was a little concerned that the drinks and food would not be up to par since it was an all inclusive. But I could not have been more wrong. The drinks were delicious, the food was outstanding, and the entertainment was great! The hotel was very generous! Inside our rooms, we found clean towels morning and night, plenty of coffee and tea supplies, and a fridge loaded with water bottles and cans of soda, apple juice and orange juice. The room also had a microwave, iron, and 4 umbrellas! The staff was friendly and helpful whenever I had to deal with them. We had a problem with our shower and they gave us a cabana free for two days! We stayed at the French Village and all 19 of us were located near each other. We mostly hung out at the Italian Village pool because it was the most lively! The beach was nice, but hard to get a chair if you don’t get there early in the morning or have a butler. Loved our stay! Can’t wait to return but the airport! Oh my! Not like our JFK. That’s for sure! It was an experience! LOL
We spent 6 nights at Beaches Turks and Caicos as a family of three and it was amazing!! A few highlights: -the diving was great! We saw reef sharks, multiple sea turtles, and loads of other colorful fish and cool underwater features. The dive staff is amazing and even helped our 11 year old get certified as a Jr Scuba Diver. A few special shout outs to: Jerre, CeeCee, Popo, Amina, Laurent, Jermaine, and Kevoy although everyone was great!! -the iguana island tour/snorkeling trip was very unique. We booked through island routes. Sandra at island routes was lovely and oh so helpful! -we had our last breakfast at Sky (since kids under 12 can do breakfast there) and Patrina was fantastic and made our last morning more special! -Shanice and KK at the Caribbean loyalty office were friendly and helpful and we already re-booked for next year -Roshawn at the Turtle bar was great!! -the crew at the Italian village bar near the pool were also amazing -the crew at Kids camp were so kind (we only used it once when we went diving as our daughter is not young and then began joining us diving ). Jodie and everyone else were so accommodating! They also have extremely solid safety measures in place, which is assuring. -the nightly entertainment was fun for all ages! -amazing food as always (we ate at every restaurant while there)! -the staff re-stocked our room with towels, water, etc as soon as we called every time -the resort is spotless, every singly staff member we passed was friendly and kind, and we had a wonderful time as a family! I highly recommend!
We just got back from a wonderful week stay at Beaches Turks & Caicos Resort. First and foremost the staff here is amazing!! TITI-entertainment/volleyball was a joy. It felt like we had a friend throughout our stay whenever we would see her. Plus her voice is amazing!! She is a star. JOMO- Bartender at French Village pool was excellent. He had us laughing as soon as we met him. Made fantastic drinks as well! WINSTON- Guest services/Housekeeping was always around with a smile checking to make sure everything was going well and troubleshooting if needed. My parents met him separately and commented on how great of person he was. He has been at the resort for over 20 years!! The resort was well maintained, as well as the room we stayed in. Daily turn down service twice a day. We were in the French Village and at first I was a little hesitant at the distance from the beach. I would say it was about an 8 minute walk, so not too bad. They do provide golf cart shuttle services throughout the resort as well that picks up in each lobby every 10-15 minutes so we did a little of both to change it up and get some exercise. To get to Key West you have to make a request at the lobby front desk as those do not run as often. We ended up liking the French Village location a lot because it was closest to the Water Park as well as the theater where they had the Sesame Street show/nightly entertainment. Another plus is the Paris coffee shop/bistro is right there and we stopped by multiple times a day. The French Village pool has a nice shallow area of babies/toddlers and is on the quieter side, which we kind of liked at times. Our last night was the Sesame Street Parade/Carnival (Friday) and it was not to miss! Kids and adults enjoyed the whole event. After the parade they had a whole area where there were food trucks, catering, and vendors of all kinds. Just a big celebration for all the guests and staff. The vibes were high and what a great way to end our stay. The beach of course was beautiful. Restaurants were good, but we mostly enjoyed eating at the buffets that way we could have more food options and more importantly catch the Sesame show with our 2.5 year old. All in all, if you have a family I highly recommend this resort. There is something for everyone to enjoy!
Amazing beach, hotel and staff! Especially Asheley D. At beach bar, excellent service, customer focus and just awesome! Thank you Asheley.D for making our experience amazing.
Ericka coordinated every detail once we got to Beaches of our entire rehearsal dinner and next day beach wedding with so much care. She turned what we imagined into something more breathtaking than words could describe. Truly something out of a magazine. We can’t thank her enough for everything she did and continued to do throughout our entire stay with beaches. Our wedding was flawless. Every detail looked like it belonged in a magazine spread, and it’s all because of her talent, patience, and caring. She’s one of a kind and truly cares about her brides and grooms. Our beach wedding was a picture perfect dream due to her vision and unmatched workmanship in the wedding department. She makes dreams come true here at Beaches Turks and Caicos. She carried our vision and brought it to life. Not a single issue once arriving to the property. She takes care of everything and not just on a work but a personal basis. Any bride and groom would be lucky to have her as their wedding coordinator. She is amazing. - The Savages
⭐️ Review: Beaches Turks & Caicos – Beautiful Location, Disappointing Experience Pros: Beaches Turks & Caicos sits on a breathtaking stretch of Grace Bay. The beach is spectacular, the water is crystal-clear, and the overall setting is truly stunning. There were plenty of beach chairs available each day, which made settling in easy. Cons: While chairs were abundant, they were placed so close together that you’re essentially on top of your neighbors no matter where you sit. For a resort at this price point, the lack of personal space on the beach was a letdown. ⸻ Food: Overall, the food ranged from mediocre to genuinely disappointing. We spent $400 on the private “Romantic Dinner on the Beach,” and calling the food underwhelming would be an understatement. We both ordered the surf and turf: the steak arrived burnt and dry, and the lobster tails were the smallest I’ve ever seen—questionably even lobster—and seriously undercooked with no seasoning. On top of that, the food was cold when served. The one bright spot was our server, Cesar, who went out of his way to make the evening feel special despite the poor quality of the meal. The setting itself was gorgeous—one of the most beautiful beachfront dinner setups we’ve experienced—but the food completely diminished the experience. Across the resort, the dining options seemed geared more toward children than adults. The “luxury” or fine-dining venues fell short, with dishes that were poorly cooked and not well prepared. There were a few enjoyable exceptions: • The food trucks were a hit with the kids. The mac & cheese and jerk chicken were genuinely good, and IPA fans will appreciate the bar truck next to the jerk chicken stand. • The pizzas across the resort were consistently good—similar to what we’ve had at other Sandals properties. • Cricketer’s Pub was solid as always, great for late-night buffalo wings and drinks. • Kimonos was fun thanks to our enthusiastic chef who made the experience lively. The food itself was just okay, but the show made it enjoyable. ⸻ Rooms: The room was one of the most disappointing aspects of our stay. It was noticeably dated, and the floors felt dirty. There was an adjoining door to the next room with about a two-inch gap underneath, which meant we could hear everything happening next door—conversations, television, crying children, all of it. Every night, a screaming baby woke us up, and it genuinely felt like the child was in the room with us because the walls were so thin. The first few nights, the neighboring guests had their TV blasting infomercials until midnight, making it even harder to rest. The water pressure in the shower was nearly nonexistent, which made showering unpleasant—especially in a cold, air-conditioned room where you couldn’t even warm up under the water because there simply wasn’t enough pressure. For a high-end resort, this was a major flaw. ⸻ Service: Service was hit or miss. Our room was cleaned daily and kept stocked, so no complaints there. However, in several restaurants, staff seemed disinterested in moving with any sense of urgency. Clearing tables, seating guests, and general attentiveness all felt slow. I suspect this may be linked to Sandals’ no-tipping policy—a mixed blessing that sometimes leads to inconsistent service. Unfortunately, this wasn’t an isolated experience. This is our second negative stay with the Sandals brand—the prior one being in Barbados in December, where we had a butler suite yet never saw our butlers the entire week. To make matters worse, it took nearly two hours just to check in, while the friends we traveled with (in a concierge-level room) checked in, dropped off their bags, and came back to find us still waiting. No greeting drink, no cool towel—nothing. That experience already had us questioning the brand. At Beaches Turks & Caicos, I voiced concerns to management and asked for a follow-up message in our room, which never came. I ultimately had to return to the front desk myself the next day to confirm we were leaving a day early. For the amount of money spent, the lack of service recovery—no gesture, no attempt to offset the poor dinner, not even comping the high-speed internet we purchased to watch a football game—was disappointing. Even with a $150 spa credit, we still spent nearly $100 out of pocket after fees, and they attempted to upsell us a $59 bath treatment. ⸻ Overall Impression: The grounds are beautiful and lush—consistent with Sandals’ aesthetic—and the Grace Bay location is genuinely world-class. But between the mediocre food, outdated room, constant noise, weak water pressure, inconsistent service, and lack of any meaningful service recovery, the experience fell far below expectations. After 15 years of being loyal Sandals customers, it feels like the quality has declined significantly. Sadly, I’m not sure we’ll return.
Airport transfers went well. Reception upon arrival went well. Room was clean and well kept by housekeeping. Room had washer/dryer which was nice, however dryer needs attention (6402) as it's not drying well Struggled daily to get towels @pools. Food was average at best. Le Petit Chateau was best restaurant. Not feeling that we got what we paid for, quite expensive. Most likely will not return.
Our stay had some enjoyable highlights, including the beautiful Key West–style beach area, the lively bars, and a fun Michael Jackson impersonator variety show. The Termex pool/bar area was also a relaxing spot where we consistently had a good time. It’s worth noting that the resort has a strong drinking culture, which may appeal to some guests but could feel overwhelming for families or those looking for a quieter atmosphere. We tried several dinner options—hibachi, French surf and turf, and Italian—and while the variety was nice, the food itself was average. Some dishes arrived cold, and service was often slow, especially at the buffets. Unfortunately, the negatives outweighed the positives. The concierge service was extremely disappointing for the price: calls often went unanswered, and staffing felt limited. Our one-bedroom villa needed significant upgrades; some lights didn’t work, the dryer wouldn’t dry clothes, and the shower handle broke. The daybed mattress was only about two inches thick, so we had to stack the trundle mattress on top and still request a cot for basic comfort. There was also no paperwork or clear instructions for checkout on the final day. In addition, several signature restaurants had a 12+ age restriction, which felt out of place at a family resort. Overall, while we did enjoy certain aspects of the property, the drinking-focused environment, maintenance issues, inconsistent service, and average food do not justify the cost. We would not advocate returning.
What a wonderful vacation making memories with my 5 grandchildren. This place is so beautiful. We can’t wait to go back. ❤️🌴😎 Special thanks to Sidue, Hoshniel and Kayolin for taking such good care of my family you guys are the best ❤️ to GiGi for keeping them entertained and to Debbie for taking such good care of our room. So best vacation ever.
I just came back from my 17th. visit to Turks&Caicos and it was like coming home. From my amazing butlers Moses& Aide who take care of my family and I with love and support . My grandson got certified in scuba diving and his instructor Aldeen was fantastic, he was kind, supportive and knowledgeable. If you need photos Romaine is your go to, he takes the most incredible pictures that are beautiful memories. The staff is great, rooms beautiful and the the weather is rarely affected by hurricanes. I am booked for 3 more trips . If you haven’t been here you need to visit. You will love it!!!
Just like the title states. Average place for one of the most expensive all inclusives around. Let me explain. I don’t want to just complain without reason. We don’t mind paying for something exceptional. The grounds are very beautiful with all the plant life and the beach and ocean is some of the best. My family and I have now have stayed at many all inclusives in the Caribbean. So when we booked Beaches Turks and Caicos we were very excited. The over all feeling of the place is that you are bothering the employees when you ask them for anything. I would say 80/20. 80% of the time the staff was rude and would eye roll or would barely acknowledge you with the other 20% being truly awesome but over shadowed by the other 80%. When we arrived at the resort some people got a nice warm cloth but not us and not some other people. The luggage wasn’t delivered to the room so we had to go down and get it ourselves so we could change and hit the beach. The room was not very clean with sporadic towels. Some days we would have some and others the cleaning people I guess forgot. It’s stuff like this that was constant throughout which gets real old fast. There was zero service on the beach…..yes at Beaches there is no service on the beach. When you would make the trek to the bar you hoped you didn’t get the angry one again. The service at every other all inclusive we have went to that cost less was amazing. Also if you have children under 12 the top three restaurants are off limits unless someone watches your children. So, no fillet mignon for you. The final supper at Arizonas which is an awesome place for lunch was interesting. The food took forever to come out which we never experienced on the trip yet which was fine. When it came out it was just the protein. My daughter ordered chicken and fries and my son ordered the steak and baked potato. No fries or potato. They told us after it came out that they were out of baked potatoes and fries. Just another thing to make the experience oh so pleasant! So double the price for half the experience you could get somewhere else. We were beside a family on the beach that has been there a few times and they said they will never go back again. Beaches Turks and Caicos you let us down and I see why you block this website on your resort wifi. Yes it’s blocked.
I think the other reviews do a good job at singing the virtues of this resort as a good all inclusive with a great beach and decent food. I spent a lot of time in the pool. With the exception of the Italian Village, I thought the pools were too cold. I could hear other guests and even 1 staff member make the same claim. For what you're paying, I think they could have at lest heated the pools to a comfortably warm temperature. I would have given 4 or 5 stars had they done this.
First trip to a Beaches resort and have to say, they are experts at handling families. We traveled with our own kids plus their respective families; 6 adults plus 3 young grandkids altogether. Size of our party drove us into a butler villa (4VO) and we didn't regret it one bit - perfect square footage and awesome amenities for the entire week-long stay. In typical Sandals/Beaches fashion, the staff took care of us from arrival through departure. Ride from the airport was short and comfortable - took about 15 minutes - they split the party into 2 full size SUVs for the arrival trip and all of us in a single, large Mercedes van for the trip back to the airport. Our butler met us as our transfers arrived at the resort, and we didn't have to touch our luggage again until we made it to our villa. Check-in was a breeze; all accomplished in the comfort of our own villa. The butler then gave us a quick run-down on all the services and offerings then turned us loose on the resort. It was a wonderful time - everything was clean and well-managed by a friendly and caring resort staff. Meals were all awesome everywhere we went. Luckily, our villa was right next door to Bayside for the mornings we opted for a buffet, and equally close to Neptune's which offered a marvelous sit-down menu - steak & eggs were a real hit there! Although we never needed to worry about going hungry thanks to timely snack deliveries by our butler team, we tried several venues for lunch and dinner. Highly recommend Arizona's for lunch. Their buffet was awesome - gyros, burgers, hot dogs, ribs, steak, tacos - they had it all and everything was fresh and hot. For dinner, Schooner's, Kimono's and Mario's were our favorites, but again - there was great food everywhere which made it easy to find meals for fussy kid tastes. The food trucks were a big hit with the grands. When our stay was over, the staff again pulled together to get us (and our luggage) checked out of the resort and off to catch our return flights. Again, we didn't even have to mess with our luggage until they delivered us safely at the airport. I simply can't capture the range and great quality of all the amenities, restaurants and activities on the resort, but just like our Sandals experiences, the staff made it all special. First, need to thank our butlers, Ashuli and Dominique - these guys are pros and took wonderful care of us - everything from snack deliveries, meal reservations, holding cabanas and beach chairs, even surprise deliveries of ice cream and cookies for the grandkids; they were both just truly wonderful guys. Like any resort, you'll have your favorite bartenders, but can't say enough good things about Seandee, Junior and Andrew. These guys were all attentive, friendly and skilled mixologists - again, all really great guys! One of our favorite waiters for the entire trip was Jeron in Neptune's. This guy was a rock star - outgoing, funny and an extremely capable server. I have to say, if management is looking for butler candidates, they couldn't make a better pick than Jeron! He's simply awesome. Finally, I'd like to thank Bernadette and Rodeline from the spa staff for the kindness they showed our grandkids at the children's glitter tattoo stand. They were really nice to the kids who enjoyed the heck out of the tattoos they sported for the duration of our stay. All said - Beaches Turks & Caicos runs a class act. The resort itself is beautiful, clean and full of great attractions for both kids and adults. Food and drink offerings are equally impressive - not one bad experience the whole time. And finally, the staff is tremendous. Wish I could call out everyone we encountered, but they were all great. Not sure how any of the Beaches resorts can top the Turks & Caicos experience! Well done by all. Thanks for a great getaway!
Beaches Turks & Caicos was a perfect trip for our family. We had ages from 62 to 2 and everyone loved every second of our trip! The restaurants and bars worked perfectly for the adults and the Sesame Street entertainment brought smiles, laughter, dancing and fun to our 2 year old granddaughter. Everything worked out perfectly for us! It will be hard to find another destination better than this so we hope to be back again!
We stayed here in November of 2025. The resort is beautiful. We love the fact that it is all inclusive, so all of your food/alcohol are included. If you don't want to shop, you don't have to spend at all once you arrive. Grace Bay Beach is stunning and a main reason for staying here. I would never want to come back to TCI and not want to stay on Grace Bay Beach. Staff was kind and helpful. A staff member successfully assisted with getting balloons for our birthday child, another staff member was great with calling me a trustworthy taxi/arranging transportation to go shopping off of the resort. Everyone was helpful with directions, as if it's your first time arriving and the resort is big, you may not know where to go. There are friendly cats in some of the restaurants. We loved Schooners for fresh seafood on the beach, and their staff was super kind. Kimonos also has very good food. Our family photos came out good. We also went parasailing and booked a snorkeling and iguana Island tour that we were happy with. I did not encounter anyone that was actually unkind or not happy to be there. For children, they have Sesame St shows, a playground, multiple swimming pools, a kids' swim up bar, a game room, a water park, a street parade. The amenities are hard to beat for families. If you can venture out to the salt mills plaza, local shopping is super nice; very artistic jewelry and art shops down that way. We enjoyed our stay so much that we are planning on coming back the year after next year. (Next year we had already booked extensive travel plans). We will be back.
Let me start by saying this was our home away from home! We just returned from our 15th trip over the last 13 years. We would go yearly, twice the last 2 years. There was no other vacation my teens kids ever wanted, then to be with their Turks “family.” After the last few trips, we’ve seen a huge decline in service and an even big huge decline in personality and eager to work from the employees. I get all the new resorts on the island opening up, but rather than staying and being grumpy and complaining about the company, move along. There is as no pep in many employees steps. We felt like they wanted to get fired. I will praise the entertainment crew… Romain, Mario, Andris, anrico and o’Ryan! All were more than happy, wanting to engage in activities and positive energy in general. Our yearly photographer, Monkey Dawg, the only photographer who has shot my family, as I am a photographer. He’s the best of the best and will continue being our photographer, even if it’s not in a warm setting. As far as bar and restaurant staff…. my list is usually a few dozen people deep, but no longer. Jean (dive bar), Omar+shanice (kimonos), Andrew+michele (Arizonas), Floyd (iguanas), alex+gabby+byron (circle), Francis (hopped around to bars), and preki (pool bar)…. Nigel (kimonos) is always awesome (our first hibachi chef 13 yrs ago) along with some servers who are always so welcoming to us (Bob+marlon). Manager David at sapodillas was a new fav of ours as he was always hustling and wanting to help his servers. The best of the best over all these years is Daniel Dennis who we’ve known for 11 years. He always ensures we are happy, willing to help and continues to keep in touch after our trip, along with village manager Sheldon. The grounds continue to be gorgeous! It’s easy access to and from the airport! The villages are slowly getting a revamp, key west really in need as our shades were mostly broken, even in the shower. Food options are plentiful and always something for everyone. Only thing I wish is they had more snack options in the afternoons that were easy access and self service. The beach service is non existent, which isn’t fun. I feel many more would relax beachside if they had beach service. All in all, it’s an awesome resort as that’s why we’ve slept here over 118 nights and have been there 15 times. But I will say, the changes over the last few trips haven’t been favorable, leading to even my kids asking to change things up which we’ve never heard before. They used to live for beaches Turks. Many. Many memories we had there…. But I think we are finally are going to expand our horizons and seek other areas. It’s saddens me, big time.
My daughter planned a destination wedding at Beaches in Turks and Caicos, and I have to say, it was a wonderful experience. The rooms were immaculate and they even serviced your in room refrigerator. There were activities day and night, food and drinks throughout the day, and the clean, clear ocean water was amazing. I loved the fact that you could venture throughout the resort, which had 5 different themed areas, all offering different cuisine and fun things to do. From fancy French food, to fish and chips at the Pub, hamburgers and hot dogs at the water park, and even had mac and cheese at what looks like a food truck. All in all, an excellent place to vacation with family and friends. The wedding package my daughter chose was just perfect and all the accommodations and wedding plans were just beautiful. I've never stayed at an all inclusive resort before, and I find myself kicking myself for not doing it sooner. I definitely will plan more trips like this and even some cruises in the future. Thank you Beaches for a great time and for providing incredible memories for a lifetime.
Uuuhhh, we can't describe how gorgeous was, in short and reality was fantastic, the white sand beach and restaurant along the beach was a heartbreaking!
This is the best place to go in you have children. There is so much to do. Sailing an amazing beach, water park, games, mini golf, shuffle board, tennis, pickle ball and entertainment. The staff is very nice and caring. The place is incredibly clean. Specific shout out to Alex our tennis instructor and Michelle and Dorel who kept our Key West room spotless. We unfortunately had to visit the nurse, I do not know her name, but she was wonderful Our butlers Ruoan and Johnny went above and beyond The entertainment staff is also terrific Comments We were there with grandchildren and having the best 3 resturants as adult only was tough, we had to eat in shifts. Please rethink that. Also the Key West rooms need updating. The blinds are broken and light gets in in the morning. It would be nice to have pads on the beach chairs like the other hotels have
What a fantastic trip! Staff were amazing: shoutout to Lavern and Fereline for going above and beyond! Even with the impending hurricane, everyone and everything was amazing! Would return in a heartbeat!
We just returned from another incredible week at Beaches Turks & Caicos, our 4th visit to this amazing resort — and we’ve already booked our 5th trip for next year! This trip was especially meaningful as my wife and I celebrated our 10th anniversary with a vow renewal ceremony. It was truly magical and made even more special by having our two boys share that moment with us. The resort’s team made everything effortless and memorable — a day we’ll never forget. Although the weather wasn’t ideal this time (the red flag was up most of the week), it didn’t slow our boys down one bit. They still made the most of the ocean, pools, and water park, which continue to be highlights every year. As they grow, it’s fun to see how each trip becomes a new kind of adventure — though one constant is their love for ordering piña coladas (virgin, of course!). We missed out on our Captain’s Table reservation at Schooners due to rain, but we’ll try again next year. We enjoyed several restaurants during our stay — Soy, the sushi spot, was probably our favorite this time around. While we love the variety of activities, dining options, and friendly staff (shout out to Jeane, now serving up drinks in The Dive food truck, as she remembers us each year and was amazed at how the boys have grown), the real reason we keep coming back is Grace Bay itself. Even on cloudy days, it’s absolutely breathtaking — a true paradise that never loses its magic. We’re already counting down the days until our next visit!
Beach is great. However, the resort boasts 20 something restaurants but does not have the capacity to accommodate its guests. Wait times were above 1h20 to get a seat so you need to end up at the buffets after the kids are crying. Every seat at the pool and beach is pre-reserved by butlers only for nobody to show up. Little hint, just move the Butler reservations. Nobody will ever show up to claim them…
All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. We arrive shortly after hurricane Melissa, and even though many of the staff’s families were impacted by it, they still continue to serve us with a smile. OK Nathalie at Reflections and Lynda in housekeeping went out of their way to help us. They remembered our special requests and always had a friendly smile.
Amazing family trip. Ages from 3 to 56 years old all enjoyed the stay. Beautiful beach with clear waters. No shortage of restaurant choices and things to do. Resort is well maintained and beautiful. Thank you to Naomi from loyalty for making the trip extra special.
Our fourth visit to Beaches, Turks and Caicos!! Love this resort!! Our fifth visit is booked! Traveled this year when Hurricane Melissa was due to hit. Thankfully Melissa turned. The staff was prepared if she did hit. Prayers to all the people in Jamaica that were not as lucky. Definately many new faces on the entertainment team. Miss many of the old staff but welcome the new!! Very happy to still see Jerina on staff. She always makes us feel at home! How she remembers us after all the people she meets from week to week amazes me. Kenton was also a pleasure. It was great getting to know him and hope we get to meet up again. Also a shout out to Shemica who worked some magic for us when we were rebooting our trip.
Neptunes restaurant Jessica was the best server. Food was excellent and she handled our large party of 17 very well. Would recommend both the restaurant and Jessica as your server
I love the Beaches! it was my third year in a row there. Starting at the top, Orville runs a great property. It is immaculate place. Just a short walk down the beach is an excellent place to snorkel. The food is great at all the different restaurants. David was an excellent server at Sapodillas, Simone rocked it bartending at the Italian Village. Wood was great at Guiseppies. Jomo handles the crowd at the swim up bar at the French Village like a pro. The entertainment is good!!!! Mario does an excellent job. The dancers are outstanding, Andris, Dialdo, Roshane and the others. The Fire show is amazing. The parade night was great, along with the market. Let me not forget other employees Jean, Madeline, Delano. These people work very hard to make sure you have a great vacation. I hope to be back next year!
Review 2025 We have just returned from an 11 night stay and had a wonderful, relaxing time. We were in Caribbean room 353 (Honeymoon King) was a good size for four of us and had a beautiful view of Cascades pool and the ocean. Staff overall were excellent and we were offered complimentary nights if our flights home were delayed due to Melissa which is exceptional (but they sadly the flight was not delayed). Stand out staff for us were Tamoya at the Caribbean reception, Ativa from Schooners, Michael and Aldan (who taught my son Will to dive) from the water sports and Sheldon C at Petit chateau. Ocean was beautiful but choppy and 2 out of 12 days were red flag which was disappointing but my son was able to get open water padi certified on the first week which was excellent. Pools were beautiful but a little cloudy sometimes. The hot tubs were lovely but some were just too hot to use and a little dangerous for that reason in my opinion. My favourite pools were the French and Cascades. My children’s favourite was Iguanas due to the water volleyball. Food was average to good overall, repetitive after 11 days and not exceptional anywhere but always found something to enjoy. My favourite restaurants were Schooners and Le Petit Chateau. The alcoholic drinks were strong if you ask for them to be. Grounds and sunsets are simply stunning. Return guest lunch at Mario’s was not a great due to the venue being split level so felt disjointed and too long. Comparison to Beaches Negril - we have been to Negril twice and overall prefer Beaches Negril (which is just a personal choice as we prefer the calmer ocean, smaller feel, some of the restaurants and the exceptional manager). That does not mean to say we didn’t love Beaches Turks and Caicos as well but we will likely go back to Negril in the future. Tips: take time to orientate yourself as it’s a large resort and it’s good to make the most out of each ‘village’ and what it has to offer. Try as many of the restaurants as you can.
We had a great time during our second stay at beaches turks and caicos. This was definitely low season for them as we never had problems finding chairs in the shade whether it be at the beach or the pool. Beach was mostly yellow or red flags while we were there but we enjoyed going out in the waves. We frequented the Italian and French pools. Service at the bar was usually prompt even though they were quite busy. My son is 6 and we went to the sesame shows most nights. He loved the Halloween show. We did not use kids club as he wanted to hang with us but it always looked like the kids were having a great time. Staff overall were friendly and helpful. Only issue we had was trying to get into soy after the sesame show was a 45 minute wait despite numerous open tables. We went at opening a few nights earlier and the place was filled so not sure if they were just short staffed that evening Spreaking of food, we loved yoyo's and Jojo's. So fun for everyone getting froyo. The pizza at Dino's was fantastic. Bayside breakfast was always good. The only real disappointment was Reflections buffet for dinner our first night. We usually do a la carte for dinner but had spent extra time at the beach and didn't think our son could wait for a meal to be cooked. It was Asian themed food. I think if we had eaten it when it was first put out it had the potential to be good, but by the time we ate (around 7) it was quite dry and not very good. Overall the stay was good, but the resort is starting to show some need of repairs in the common areas, specifically the Italian pool. Many places where tiles are chipped. Our room had a leaky faucet and duct taped sides of our coffee table and the table on the patio had also seen better days. For the price of this resort I feel like things like this should be addressed in a more timely manner. Overall, we didn't let the hiccups get us down and booked another trip but not for a few years. Hopefully some updates will be made by then. The beach is enough to bring you back again and again. It is stunning.
