Sidney Hotel London-Victoria

Auch als Einzelzimmer geräumig. Sauber und zweckdienlich eingerichtet. Das Bad hatte sogar eine Regenwalddusche und ein kostenloses Frühstück ( Basic 😉) gab es auch.

Hatte vorher im Bereich Bayswater ( am Hyde Park ) gewohnt, dort ist das Umfeld etwas lebendiger. Keine Kritik, nur ein Hinweis.

В номері 306 просто нестерпно воняє каналізація,двері в ванну треба було весь час замикати,не знаю чі то у всіх номерах така проблема

It’s close for the theatre, sight seeing and easy tube access to help you get around quicker.

It said there was air con in both rooms I had booked and only one had this so maybe best to update this on here. The TV wasn’t working but I didn’t care to complain as I wasn’t bothered but another guest might want it. The bed was close to the radiator and I kept banging my leg on it. These are minor issues to highlight.

Overall, the room was quite good for the price and the location was convenient, around a 10-minute walk from Pimlico station. The staff were very friendly, helpful and accommodating throughout our stay. Overall, a decent option for London considering the price and location, with excellent service from the staff.

Τhe cleanliness could have been a little better, and we would have appreciated a quieter stay. On two days there was quite a lot of noise from renovation work taking place in other rooms.

La posizione è ottima, comoda per gli spostamenti in tutte le direzioni sia in metro che in bus. Camera comoda e silenziosa, staff presente 24/24 sempre pronto a venire incontro alle tue esigenze.

Établissement très propre et bien équipé avec une equipe très accueillante. Très bon emplacement avec le métro à 5mn direct st Pancras et un bus juste devant pour aller dans le centre. Correspond à la description. Possibilité de laisser ses bagages sans supplément ce qui est très appréciable.

Sam smještaj je lociran u mirnom kvartu. Osoblje je bilo iznimno ljubazno, svi koji su bili na recepciji su bili srdačni i spremni pomoći, izuzev gospođa na doručku koje su stajale kao policajci i kontrolirali koliko tko uzima nejestivog doručka.

Prostor je bio u podrumu. Izrazito zagušljiv. Uski prostori i hodnici unutar starije zgrade. Internet uopće nije dostupan, iako dobijete lozinku i spojite se on uopće ne radi.

Poziționare a este excelentă! Aproape de toate obiectivele importante și de transport (autobuz, metrou, tren), restaurante și magazine alimentare.

Micul dejun foarte slab. Nu se merită să achiziționezi cazare cu mic dejun.

Sakin bir konumda ancak metroya çok yakın her yere rahatlıkla gidebiliyorsunuz ayrıca önünde otobüs durağı var. Yalnız seyahat edenler için oda çok konforluydu yeterli alan vardı yatak oldukça rahattı. Kahvaltıda simple bir kahvaltıydı gittiğimde öğrendim ve sabah ufak bir şey atıştırıp hemen çıkmak için yeterliydi. Ayrıca her gün çöp alındı ve oda temizlendi. Tekrar geldiğimde ilk tercihim olacaktır.

It was way above expectations. The location is great and has a bus stop right in front. The staff is very friendly and the hotel is really well kept. We received free breakfast and that was a nice surprise. Room was clean and housekeeping great.

We were in the basement and there was quite a bit of surrounding noise. You could hear the occupants in the room above walking around, flushing their loo and showering.

Ontzettend luidruchtig,met namen de deuren die dicht knalden,en de pub erg saai als je iets wilde drinken moest je het personeel halen achter de binnenkomst balie . Het ontbijt was verschrikkelijk en dan zeggen het is gratis, nou ik betaal liever wat .Dit leek nergens op. Er waren mensen die hun pakje kaas en ham mee namen voor de boterhammen die er waren. Scrumble eggs ?? Ik heb ze niet gezien.

I’ts location and being close to two underground stations. Calm and friendly area with a lot of nice restaurants. Friendly staff and the building have an elevator, which is nice after a long day of walking and when carrying heavy bags. Overall a price worthy hotel and I would book again.

The breakfast was not very good. In my room the toilet had problem flushing and the shower was just overhead, making it hard to shower properly.

Great location. Few minutes walk to Pimlico and Victoria tube stations. Single room, small and compact but has everything you need and very clean. Lovely helpful staff and a great advantage being able to store your bags there after checkout.

The room was a nice size for 3 people. The hotel was about 10 walk from Victoria station and two theatres with lots of places to eat near by. The gentleman on the desk was very friendly and made us feel welcome. We were able to leave our bags on check out so we could explore London.

The bathroom was a little snug but fine. Breakfast was available but with little choice (egg, beans, toast, cereal) would have been nice to see some pastries.

A decent old hotel in the Pimlico style.

Unfortunately I had issues when booking. A mistake in my booking details which I called the hotel to attempt to amend immediately after placing my booking was met with honestly quite snarky words and no solution. I ended up having to change my plans last minute to accommodate this, causing knock-on costs. With many similar hotels in the area I would recommend trying somewhere else.

Great position between Victoria and Pimlico, staff was welcoming and helpful. The booking included a fairly good complimentary breakfast which was a nice surprise.

The room was quite big, which was nice, but it had a few downsides: the bed was sagged in several points, making it really hard to sleep comfortably unfortunately. Also no outlets next to the bed on both sides!

Almost everything else, the rooms are smaller than coffin! Their double bedroom is smaller than my toilet, it’s a total waste of money, you can’t move your hands when taking shower and also 100% you will be lost inside hotel and nobody will rescue you

Very good value for money hotel, conveniently located next to a tube stop. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, they offered us complimentary breakfast and stored our luggage for free while our room was getting ready. We booked the Petite Double Room, which was on the smaller side but perfect for us, since we didn’t spend a lot of time at the hotel. If you prefer a bit more comfort during your stay, I’d advise you book a larger room. Breakfast was a nice addition, although it was quite simple.

La ubicación es perfecta para visitar la ciudad. El personal es estupendo y muy amable, te ayudan mucho. Además te permiten dejar la maleta durante el día de salida del hotel, por lo que puedes seguir visitando ese día la ciudad sin cargas. Disponen de Aire Acondicionado en las habitaciones, por lo que en días de calor, que algunas veces hay, eso se agradece mucho. En general, buen hotel para visitar la ciudad y ubicado en zona muy segura.

Room had everything we needed and was the perfect size for a 2 night stary, but if we were staying longer we would book a bigger room with a bigger bathroom.

Zona segura para pasear por la noche, bien comunicado del resto de barrios, con parada de autobús justo en la puerta y con tiendas y restaurantes alrededor. El hotel nos REGALÓ el desayuno. Un desayuno buffet con lo esencial: zumos, café y té, huevos, pan, mantequilla, mermeladas... Fue una grata sorpresa, ya que hoy en día no se regala nada y, en nuestro caso, agradecimos poder ahorrarnos unos euros gracias a la cortesía del hotel con un desayuno de alta calidad. Me encantó que en la recepción hubiera dos recepcionistas que, además, uno de ellos hablaba español y fue completamente encantador. Además de cumplir con su trabajo, fue muy amable y nos explicó cómo coger el transporte público de la manera más eficiente y económica: algo que, con los check-ins automáticos que hoy en día hay en la mayoría de hoteles, se está perdiendo.

From the time I arrived check in was smooth, room ready early, lovely spacious basement room, which was great in this English heatwave. Air-conditioning appreciated. Comfortable beds. Staff super helpful. The man from Brazil is an asset to your team. Complimentary breakfast was a lovely surprise. Selection of cereal, fruit, jam, bread, butter and hot option of eggs, boiled or scrambled. Plus baked beans, tea, coffee juices. This hotel is in a great location and I felt great value for price paid.

Albergo con un ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo: stanza grande per la media inglese con bagno in camera con doccia spaziosa, letti comodissimi, servizio pulizia eccellente con cambio quotidiano degli asciugamani, personale molto disponibile e gentile, posizione ottima con fermata dell'autobus proprio fuori dell'albergo e a poca distanza stazione metro pimlico o victoria.

Staff preciso, garbato e cortese, propenso al problem solving, proprietà corretta. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo: siamo a Pimlico, a due passi da Victoria Station... Tornerò.

La mancanza di bacon nella colazione, comunque inclusa nel prezzo già ottimo, ma comprendo perfettamente le ragioni per cui non c'era: bisogna sia per tutti.

This hotel is located in a beautiful area, equidistant from two tube stations, with bus stop directly outside. Bike rental is just at the end of the street. Close to restaurants, small shops etc. Extremely close to Apollo Theatre (Wicked). Big shout out to the staff especially Rodrigo & Catalina who went above and beyond advising us and helping us navigate the city. ⭐️ The hotel allowed us to check in early, keeping our bags in storage and again when we were checking out. Nothing was a problem.

At a push the breakfast is just ok. Self serve limited buffet. Tea/ Coffee in dispensing flasks, bread/toast in a basket- self serve. Selection of 4 cereals, eggs (scrambled or boiled), beans, bananas, apples and orange sliced. Juice/ water.

The staff were lovely. The room was very nice and it was clean. The hotel is between two tube stops, Pimlico being the nearest, but the bus route 24 stops right outside the door which was excellent and takes you to a lot of the major tourist spots. Restaurants just across the road are good and there’s a convenience store too. Can’t complain at all. Hotel had good Internet.

The breakfast very badly let it down. Very limited choice, and everything was cold. It was a shame as the rest of the hotel was great. I was in a single room and the tv was so high that it was t really comfortable to watch. I used my iPad instead and connected to the hotel internet

We had never, ever seen a breakfast like this before—in England, one expects the famous English breakfast, yet here, the bacon, sausages, cheese, and vegetables were all missing. The "scrambled eggs" were made from powdered egg and were tasteless. The funniest part of all was watching the shocked expressions of the guests as they saw what was being offered for breakfast—almost nothing. But it was funny!

The double bed in our room was too narrow.
