They seem to have renovated since last stay (looks great). The hideabeds are so new that mine still had the mechanism attached with a plastic tie. But when I opened it, I was very disappointed in the thin, hard mattress. Last year my daughter had a suite with a more comfortable sofa bed. My granddaughter had to sleep on this less comfortable one the night before a provincial gymnastics competition, and we were quite worried about the quality of her sleep. Really not impressed by the sofa bed mattress

I had a great stay at the newly renovated Four Points by Sheraton in Barrie. The updates really show. Everything felt modern, clean, and thoughtfully designed, from the refreshed rooms to the common areas. My room was comfortable and quiet. The staff were friendly and professional, and check-in/check-out was smooth and efficient. The location is also convenient, making it a solid choice whether you’re visiting for business or leisure. Overall, the renovations have elevated this hotel, and I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again or recommend it to others.

Recent renovations with sloppy workmanship. Paint spilt on air conditioner and bathroom sink not cleaned up.

Great place. Stay every year with team. They renovated since last year and it looks great. Perfect bar on site with plenty of food and drinks. Nice lobby too.

Cleanliness and staff were top tier. Stayed for skiing trip. Warm welcome and help from maintenance person with snow removal from vehicle. Kind gentleman at front desk. Conveniently located. Decent dinner options and was very nice not having to leave the hotel at night in the weather to go for dinner. Really enjoyed the pool and hot-tub as well. Will definitely return.

Quick check in; courteous staff got us hot water for tea in the evening.

Noise level. Some children running in the halls for a while. We were on the middle floor and I think an elephant stomped non-stop across the room, constantly, around 10:30 pm when we wanted to get to sleep early. It was very, very disturbing and excessive.

This was a lovely hotel, with a good location. Comfortable beds, lovely pillows. Unfortunately, there were several hockey teams staying at the hotel, and we had to contend with kids running up and down the hallway. I wish hotels would leave one floor for guests that are not associated with hockey tournament. I totally understand that sports teams generate a lot of revenue for hotels, but it’s hard on the other guests.

It would be nice if the light in bathroom could be dim or have a night light

This place is actively under renovation and should be avoided at all costs. I was not informed of the reno at the time of booking and arrived to find workers actively painting and doing drywall in the hall outside of our room. The paint fumes were unbearable and the windows don't open so we had to leave. Couldn't go to the pool because it was closed and don't forget your keycard because the electronic keys were also not working. To top things off our HVAC unit rattled constantly and kept us awake all night. I have had better experiences in roadside motels.

Under Reno’s and wasn’t in the best shape. Staff are friendly though. Initially given the runaround for a crib, however, staff found one eventually after expressed disappointment .

Hotel wasn’t clean at all. Sheets had stains on them also

When booking it showed breakfast included and once completed it came as breakfast you have to pay 17 dolar/person,it’s the booking .com mistake ,not hotels mistake .when you offer a room to client make sure the facility has every facility what you are offering ,if there was no breakfast free ,I never going to book this hotel ,99%hotels in Barrie Ofer free breakfast .

We'd a great couple of day's here. Lovely hotel. A special thanks to Tone for helping us out when we left our rucksack and passports behind. She went above and beyond and we are forever grateful to her.

This place always delivers! Friendly staff and clean comfortable facilities. Very nice restaurant on site. Good location as well close to highway. Seems that highway construction is complete as well.

Nice property, it was in the middle of being freshened up. Would have been nice if restaurant was open for breakfast.

We left behind a bag with our passports etc and Toni could not have been nicer, more reassuring and went out of her way to help us. We had had a great stay anyway but this just showed how good it was. I would like to thank Toni for all her help. She has saved a lot of stress.

This hotel was recommended by colleagues and I wasn’t disappointed. Clean and comfortable rooms and modern facilities with well maintained property. Many renovated areas which looked great! Quiet and easy accessible location. Will definitely return.

Do not stay here. Unfriendly staff upon our check in. Under renovations but no consideration for customers staying there. A complete mess and disgusting in the hallways. Hardly any hot water and toilet seat not secured. We had to get to a wedding otherwise we would’ve requested our money back and go elsewhere. Very disappointing and will never stay at a four points again. I’m shocked they are charging the room prices considering the condition of the hotel.

The location was alright for what we needed it for but renovating the second and third floor so wasn't the nicest looking when we got in. And when i got a text that my room was ready, the front desk was arguing that they didn't send anything and why would i get a text.

The bathroom was clean and well supplied. The location was convenient to the highway, transportation and stores.

I had a room with an adjoining door. The guests next door had small children. The children were energetic and their energy was radiated through the door, especially at night when upset. Also the hallways of third and second floor were in the midst of being renovated with baseboards and wallpaper removed from the walls. The temperature on the small fridge didn’t keep beverages cold, thankfully ice machine helped relieve that issue but had to be constantly replaced.

This hotel was clean and comfortable. I didn't stay long so i cant really review it properly but I would go back again.

Very nice place in Barrie! The staff is friendly and service minded. The hotel is newly renovated, and the rooms looks fresh! The rooms are clean and tidy I higly recomend to stay at this hotel I have been there several times, and this is my favorite hotel!

For the most part, the hotel is clean. The pool facilities were good.

The staff that took our intake was hard to deal with. The fan in the bathroom in one of my rooms short circuited and there was a fire flame that actually got my son on the shoulder, burnt through his shirt. All we got was "sorry about that" they changed our room but then gave that same room to another family member without fixing the fan. The pillows are fluffy but so thin. The carpet was moist and it smelled humid. Other than Tim Hortons, there's no resto in walking distance and the hotel's resto bar doesn't stay open long or isn't open at all.

Stayed at this hotel in connection with visiting family. Enjoyed my time at the hotel very much. It’s a very nice and pleasant hotel, with friendly staff. Nicely located in Barrie. The hotel is also newly renovated. Would definitely visit again.

We stayed here for a soccer tournament last month and it was a decent hotel stay. The lobby was very cool looking but our room was pretty basic. I found that all of the bathroom amenities were close to the ground but otherwise the room itself was clean and came with a fridge and microwave. There was no breakfast at the hotel but they did have some snacks out in the morning which was appreciated.

The bed was comfortable. The room was basic style. For the money I expected a bit more style. The ceasar salad was all lettuce..not good. No soup was available. Breakfast was a fruit salad full of pineapple core pieces...not good. Bathtub has no hand rails for support..that's dangerous.

Comfortable room in a decent location. The hotel lobby is bright and inviting, the room was HUGE much bigger than some alternative properties, although the bathroom was completely tiny by comparison. The pool was generally clean and a nice warm temperature. Beds are comfy, room was quiet and a nice big window. Free coffee in the morning. Not sure about breakfast, we got mixed information on what was included breakfast wise, but there's a Tim Hortons close by. No complaints here, we would return if we find ourselves in Barrie again.

I could hear the conversation from everyone in the hallway, room across and above was annoyingly loud when there door was closed. Once I finally got to sleep I was awaken very early by a crying Baby, definitely not a restful nights sleep.

Good location with good meeting services. We were able to use the lobby as part of the training we took. Coffee and water was free and available all day. They had muffins too and a small snack shop. Staff were friendly and room clean. Good gym and pool as well.

Couldn’t sleep. Room was not soundproof and it was noisy. Not enough light and heat was intermittent. Musky smell in the hallways, lobby, and elevator. Bar closed early at 10. Nothing else was open.

I’ve stayed here multiple times and although some aspects are a little tired, it is always clean and the staff is friendly. It is my preferred place in Barrie. The restaurant does a good job and Kathryn is there most nights providing excellent service. She’s friendly, knowledgeable and makes your night better! A good reason to stay in on a cold night.
