Location was quiet.

Beds, pillows not comfortable at all. We went as couple. There was only 1 towel no shampoo or shower gel. Spiders on the ceiling and cobwebs. Just bad.

Very little.

Carpet saturated (wet) due to burst pipe. No hot water. No remote controle for the TV. Room door lock inoperable (could not open from outside). Room lights, only one of three worked.

A very convenient place to stay near Doncaster city centre. Came in very handy for a festival at the Yorkshire wildlife park. Staff were good. And had a comfortable stay. Good value in comparison to other options in the area. Would stay here again.

The carpets were old and very stained.

Location was ideal for my requirements. Breakfast was good.

Due to a leakage in another room the water got turned off at the mains; we were without water for several hours. After the plumbers visit we were left without any hot water. There was little communication and no timespan given to rectify the issue.

Bathroom grubby, poorly maintained and dangerous, eg a damaged light switch exposing live terminals to touch. We do have photos. No emergency switch off for extractor fan, no grab rail on bath. No anti slip mat provided and no hot water so had to boil a kettle to wash and shave - not fit for purpose!! Table lamp didn’t work. Not enough pillows. No security to deter unwanted visitors at the property. Would not recommend this hotel at all. We were in Room 117.

We we’re staying at the hotel so we could attend Doncaster Racecourse which is just 10 minutes walk from the hotel

We had no running water in the hotel for the first 24 hours and just freezing cold water for our last 24 hours . So no showers or use of the toilets!!!!!

The room was disgusting smelt of dog poo literally the carpets was think in muck booked double room and it was 2 single pushed together with a massive gap in the middle to fit a double mattress on didn't even stay there just couldn't the smell was over powering

I requested a downstairs room our allocated Rome had not been cleaned and there were no staff to get it ready for us so we had to use a 1st floor room that was difficult to access as my father finds it difficult to walk hence the booking request for a ground floor room.

Simple well cooked meals ideal exactly why I chose the Raceby.

No draught beer as it's only put on for the weekend for some reason.

It’s a s4it hole, room 111 where I am staying has a TV that doesn’t work, the same TV that didn’t work several weeks ago when I stayed. Room 111 again I sat on the chair (I’m 12 stone) and it collapsed under me I have now left on the balcony. Staff whose job is to provide food but give every excuse to not put a cr@p pizza in a microwave.

Very dated decor and facilities. Chip board walls, mystery switches and flickering lights. The room smelled of stale smoke even though it was said to be non smoking. One pillow provided which was flat and uncomfortable. Mattress was not great. Accommodation was motel style and approach was very dark. Didnt order breakfast as it was very expensive.

Convenient location and easy parking. Good shower.

Room was sparse. No fan/air con. Not even a bottle of complimentary water. Only one light worked in the bathroom. The whole place looked very tired.

The staff in particular Claire, Dawn, Georgina and a young man who was a Jack of all trades. Manuel let the side down.

I did not like the fire alarms going off especially the one that went off at 3.05am on Friday morning. The walls between the rooms are quite thin and you can hear your neighbours speaking quite clearly. The accommodation is in need of an update without a doubt.

The rooms were not connected to the hotel and were easily accessible to anyone. We did not feel safe so we moved on to a hotel. There was only one socket which was used.I

Trying to find a hotel that had recently changed its name from campanile to raceby and not altered the signage so nobody knew where it was and sat nav took me to the estate over the fence annoying also i was early away nowhere to put key no keybox no people to contact had to put key in letterbox

The staff were great and the bed comfortable.

The shower was rubbish. Just a trickle of water. I'm not a hotel snob, but the two things I really need from a hotel are a good night's sleep and a decent shower in the morning, and this place falls well short on the latter.

Able to check in early and the lady on reception at check in was very helpful.

The hotel looked unwelcoming, it needs a good overhaul outside and inside. The stairs to the upper floor rooms are awful, the wooden fence is rotting and needs painting. The rooms are terrible, dirty windows, the carpet is filthy and the tiles in the bathroom are stained.

It was a great room that great facilities and great staff that were really accommodating and friendly

Very dated inside and bags left in the room when we checked in. This took far too long to confirm was a mistake and could be removed before finding another bag when returning later didn’t feel comfortable trusting no one was going to come into the room overnight

The bathroom floor was sticky There was only 1 spare pillow and for a double bedded room there should hsve been 2? One of the lights in the bathroom didn't work. The rxtracyor fan in the bathroom didn't work I felt secure in my room

I cant see why the owners of this hotel can make an effort & visit and spend some money on it?? Its a shame as could be a lovely little hotel. Carpets dirty, light shades cracked, walls needs painting, old nets/ curtains smells abit.

The room was so dirty and dated and had a musky smell. It was so bad we paid to check into a different hotel the second night as we didn’t want to stay again.

On check in, we weren’t given a slip to make our breakfast choices but we were told that as this was included, we would be limited to choosing 3 items only. When we asked about dinner, we were told that there was no chef available which meant we had to leave the hotel & find a restaurant. Our room was an accessibility room & as my wife is not tall, it was very difficult for her to get in & out of the bath tub. Also, there were several fixtures that were rusty. On the booking confirmation, it stated clearly that a parking app was required to pay for parking whilst at the hotel. On arrival, we had difficulty in the payment process so went in to reception to get advice, where we were told that parking was free for guests.

The location is really good. It is right next to the Dome where we had gone for an event.

The room is very basic. There is no AC or fan in the room which came as a major shock as it was peak summer with temperatures soaring. The toiletries in the shower were empty. However if all this is ignored then it is fine.

Peaceful, plenty car park spaces, good breakfast with only two staff .

No cook so no evening food. No draught beers at all. Only three sockets in the room, 1=tv no sockets by the bed!!

Food only available first evening as Georgina was on duty, other staff do not cook as it is understaffed and they find it impossible to do 3 jobs at once! Answer phone, greet guests, run bar... and cook. Bar closed early on England/Norway match night! Disappointing.

The beds were actually comfy I wasn’t expecting that at all I had a good uninterrupted sleep with them , rooms could use a bit more tidying up like cobwebs , maybe a different paint colour in the rooms as they look like a 1980s motel in America which kinda give it a cool vibe but wasn’t for me , television was perfect gave me the channels I needed to watch the World Cup staff were super friendly and nice , 6/10 experience with the -4 points for the room just needed more style to it not bad if you crashing there for just 1 night

New paint , more coffee , sugar in the room new carpet too as that one looks old and also felt abit damp but I’m not a picky person so I didn’t really care

It's a pretty grotty 70's style motel on two floor accessed via a concrete outdoor staircase, the whole thing most likely designed by a cement company. The 'restaurant' menu consists of a choice of Pizza or curry defrosted and microwaved for you. I walked somewhere else which seemed like the right thing to do.

Great location for near by amenities, room was very clean & did have few facilities such as kettle, Some tea and coffee provided, tv, toiletries provided such as shampoo, body wash etc. Check in was easy, staff very polite and friendly.

Does need updating- tv in room but also an old non working tv behind it which looked a little messy as well as it obstructing you actually being able to open the window behind it properly. This meant the room did get very hot. No plug sockets near the bed- limited use of being able to charge phone etc. Says free parking available on the actual room description but once booked it then states you have to pay for parking, this was quite costly for myself and my partner it was £30 for the days our cars were there. My partner found the bed uncomfortably, I found it okay. I did leave the hanger outside of our property for it to be tidied up by the cleaning staff however this was not done during our stay. It is quite a small space and I feel the photos don’t quite reflect that. No fridge in the room also- would be a bonus if added as unable to store milk and drinks etc for tea and coffee.

Mould was growing on the head board above the bed. Cobwebs in the corners of the room and in the lights. Pictures in the foyer show what the rooms will look like after renovations. On arrival you see the pictures and expect your room to look like that. Do not be fooled. Do not book this place.

Location was good and the fact there is plenty of parking. We have stayed at the end of last month and came back due to the brilliant price and the fact we enjoyed our stay.

Website didn't state that the hotel was cashless meaning we where delayed checking in after trying to find a way to pay for our stay, the receptionist was not helpful in anyway and it seemed he couldn't have cared less about our struggles, the room was not clean at all, hairdryer didn't work, lamp didn't work, only given two teabags with 3 sugar sachets and a singular spoon, hair and body wash was empty in the bathroom.

We had a noise complaint, when we were literally just speaking within our room, walls must be extra thin.. we was evident when we could recall the events going on late in the night in the neighbouring room. Hair in the bath 🤢! And the room smelt like someone had chain smoked in there! Tea and coffee a nice touch, if a spoon and sugar was available to make it with.

Firstly our bed still had the dirty bedding on it so had to change rooms. The new room was grubby with marks on the carpet and walls. Very outdated and nothing like on the photos. The guy on reception was quite ignorant

There was a couple who were enjoying each others company until 3am and wow, they deserve a medal! The stamina, the dirty talk...would have made a porn star blush! Made me and the missus question our prowess...never living up to that! Very hard to sleep though! Proper noisy!

We like the room we were in facing very nice woodland and grass view , it was basic but very clean and bathroom spotless .

Bin full and rubbish and bottles left on the side. Hadn't been vacuumed tiles coming away from bath wall tv didn't work so he put another infront that worked hairdryer was a fire hazard smelt burning as soon as I put it on turned it off and smoke was coming out of it. I asked for a fan for the room none left I struggle in the heat with lung disease. Someone had been sick next to my passenger door staff had seen it but nothing done about it towels were not clean

The room in my opinion could do with a fridge for milk and drinks also more teabags supplies
