The decor was tired and the rooms were not clean and smelt of drain problems. The sheets and towels were clean.

the room was clean and basic fitted our needs ideal for one overnight stop over. staff were friendly there was more facilities but we did not use then as we were told they could offer us a continental breakfast if we wanted it . they also have a bar onsite

size of the bed it was a really small double , not a standard double not ideal to share. the carpark was really busy and our room was at the front and above the door entrance can be quite noisy

No water at all in the morning so couldn’t wash, brush teeth, shower or flush toilet. A hotel where the boiler/water tank couldn’t cope. Carpet thread bare in places

No lifts and no evening meal had to go and get our own no choice of breakfast only continental breakfast available which is a bit awkward if you have an allergy

Smelly, filthy, terrible mattress, awful location, no gluten free food at all. Questionable stains on walls, painted over mould & bodily fluids, unsafe radiator, The hallways smelled strongly of cannabis, and there were many unsavoury characters hanging around. I paid £60 for this room, it should have been no more than a tenner. ***I have since discovered that this 'hotel' is used by the local council to house, homeless, ex-convicts and drug addicts. This place should not be advertised as a hotel, we travelled there as two lone females and did not feel at all at ease. I have tried to add photos of the filth, but found out that the hotel are personally responsible for adding the photos 'or not' at their discretion. Disgracefull!!!

It did not feel safe , we booked this when we attended doncaster races, we had taxis & locals warning us this isn’t safe and it accommodates mainly homeless, which should be advertised.

The price. Cheapest place on Doncaster. A bit rough round the edges but the room was adequate and clean. Bed comfy and yorkshire tea bags. Decent black out curtains and free wifi. In that respect I couldn’t fault it and it is a case of “you get what you pay for”

Really noisy location next to a road that was busy all night. Due to the heat I had to keep the window open. Very noisy guests coming and going late late into the night. Thin walls so could hear everything from the neighbours including angry arguments and vigorous love making!! I think it is difficult to police the behaviour of other guests but this did spoil my stay. Also, I didn’t drive there but had I have done so I wouldn’t have been pleased with £1 an hour to park there.

Staff freindly and room comfortable shower hot nice enough for a pleasant stay enjoyed it, nice location out of the way and ample parking with reserved space.

Friendly receptionist, the room was okay, bed comfortable and shower okay.

The hotel was frequented by some rather undesirable individuals. While I was in the bar a young woman was swearing loudly and repeatedly in reception. She then went outside with a group of people and continued swearing loudly. After an hour two police cars arrived. When they left loud music started from either the car park or a nearby room. I had to shut my window, not ideal on a hot evening. Although the hotel itself was okay I won't be staying again. I don't know if all the people hanging around outside were staying at the hotel but it didn't feel welcoming.

The room had enough space for one person with a good sized bed, a desk and chair, a ensuite with a good shower, plenty of plugs to power electric devices, and a decent TV. The room was also next to the stairs leading to the main entrance and reception, so it felt less stressful when taking my belongings from my room to my car without having to travel down any long corridors.

There were some unusual smells coming in to the room, either smokers from outside the building or objects burning from a different room with the smell entering my room. Noise levels were a bit difficult when other members of the venue were talking close to my room at an unreasonable hour of the night.

Staff where lovely and friendly but that is where it ends.

Pretty much everything else. The rooms however were appalling. Luckily we were only using this place as a base for 1 night, otherwise bags would have been packed to leave immediately. To note a few issues.. Bathroom: extremely noisy extractor fan, dirty toilet & shower, burn marks on windowsill, cracked tiles & mirror. Bedroom: Tiny TV, holes in wall, dirty marks all over walls, dirty stains on back of curtains, cheap mattress on top of hard chipboard. The floor throughout was absolutely disgusting and you could feel the grime on bare feet. Would never stay here again. Whilst some may say you get what you pay for, I have stayed in cheaper places where atleast the cleaning is to a standard

The state of the walls very unclean and needs painting we needed somewhere urgently to be near my son in Doncaster hospital , the room being very small did not bother us , not a place to stay on holiday

Staff member cat made us feel welcome. She was very friendly and always smiling and happy to help us

Bedding, towels and overall the room was clean. Blackout curtains did a good job of blocking out light. WiFi included and we were placed is a quieter section of the hotel upon request.

It’s felt a bit dated, paint on the walls could do with refreshing, the bathroom light didn’t work and there was no peephole or internal chain lock on the door.

We found it to be abit out of the way from the centre, wasn't all that easy to find in the first place. But overall i guess you can't complain price wise for one night.

Perfect location for a longer stay, as most of Doncaster is accessible depending on your (use bus & taxi or Drive), budget..

Bus services, are generally on countryside timetable, need to plan well ahead for good arrival times. Taxi, services locally make up the difference fortunately at competitive prices.

Staff are really helpful and welcoming and couldn't do enough for you. The hotel is clean but could do with a bit of TLC.

The hotel could do with redecorating and attention to detail in bathroom like grouting and fixing extractor fan. The breakfast is described as continental but should be a light breakfast as cereal, yogurts, toast & small muffins.

Very clean, comfortable beds, clean towels, tea arrangement in room and polite staff. All the basic facilities were there.

The shower pipe was leaking which caused inconvenience. There was a small bug on the bed, but I don't think it was a bedbug. A very small toothpaste tube in the toiletries would have really helped. But overall very nice. Since there was no exhaust in the room, we had to keep the window open throughout the day and night.

Yes, this place is run down and does need some investment. That being said, the staff were very friendly and welcoming, both day and night staff. The beds were clean and the shower worked. For the price paid this place is totally fine. I feel some reviews are unfair and its likely the folks writing the reviews that have caused issues OR people who expect a 5 star experience for 50 quid a night!

As mentioned, the place is run down, marked walls, cracked tiles etc.... Would I want to stay more than two nights? No, probably not. But if you are going to event in Doncaster and on a budget its fine.

All room where not clear at all I have pick of the room I where in and I what like and bet of money back come it what clear at all

Does what it says on the tin. Provides a bed for the night. Luxury it is not, but for.£50 a night perfectly fine.

Shower drain clogged so water took forever to drain so had to have fast shower, door with key card could not open and took staff multiple tries and told me to wiggle it. Second room I was in could not get tv channels , holes in walls, doors

I had great time with my friend Kamil sleeping on under my legs
