Frühstück nur einmal probiert, war für die ganze woche inklusive baer nach dem 1. mal dann nicht wieder verwendent. In der halle hat es komisch gerochen was dann den appetit beeinflust hat.

Doppelte buchung ging vom Konto da iwie fehler beim reservieren waren. Dann Zimmer upgrad bekommen und gefreut, aber direkt davor liegt ien CLub und es war jeden tag auch unter der woche bis 3 Uhr laute musik im zimemr zu horen Trotz geschlossener zimmer

Small room. Duvet covers smell damp. Bathroom seals moulded. No hot water in the shower unless you run the water for 20mins at least!! The curtains didnt close. There was no milk in the room. The breakfast was heated for extensive time and was not tasting good. Coffee machine didnt work.

A Gem in the heart of town great architecture building yet modern inside, nice room not every hotel had coffee machines these days in the rooms I loved privileged room. I’ll come again.

People staying room next door complained as soon as we arrived that there was banging and too noise. We were u packing, the door was noisy on closing, the furniture quite old and creaky especially the bed which was against the wall. This was very off putting we received a call from staff to say the room next door were trying to sleep when it was our check in time, so surely people arriving should be expected. It was mentioned to us that this was staff trying to sleep?

The hotel is an old style building with wooden floors and chandeliers hanging in the corridors so you feel like you are going back in time.. The room was comfortable and the bathroom modern. The town center location made our stay very enjoyable

The rest of the hotel was very dated. It was very noisy from a local bar into the early hours. No restaurant available on the night I stayed.

The FACT that I got charged twice. In that was a charge against our room for a bar bill we had paid at time of purchase with my VISA card. I have bank statements proving everything. We had ine nightcap drink and have been charged for two and the price of the room has been take out of my account twice. Gunning forthem big time.

Checked in went to room and it had not been cleaned went to reception and spoke to front of house who apologised we had to wait 2 half hours for the room to be cleaned gave us late check out but was no go as had to get train and to top it off there tables still had dirty breakfast pots out had not been cleaned and this was at 15:10 in the afternoon and was still there at 16:30

Slow check-in sent to the wrong room which somebody was in already got upgraded for inconvenience i would dread to see what the standard rooms are like as it was so poor but only in there 15-20min so it was livable

The toilets. We had to move from one room due to the smell. And the toilet in the second room didnt feel safe to sit on. The shower was freezing cold. So had no hot water.

As a customer who has loyally chosen and supported your hotel for over 10 years, I am deeply disappointed by the sharp decline in quality, cleanliness, and basic guest safety during my visit. During my stay, I was forced to deal with a cascade of unacceptable issues: * Critical Safety & Security Hazard: The window safety chain was broken. Room 206 is a major safety liability in this condition, as a child could easily open the window fully and fall out. * Plumbing Failure & Flooding: The shower drain was severely blocked, causing water to back up rapidly and flood the entire bathroom floor every time it was turned on. * Faulty Facilities: The TV screen was non-functional (playing sound only), and one of the net curtains was broken. * Poor Housekeeping: The lamp shades were visibly caked in dust, and the bathroom was missing basic amenities—there was shampoo and conditioner, but zero shower gel. What made this experience truly inexcusable was the total lack of urgency from your staff. I reported the TV and flooding issues twice during my stay. Prior to departure, I raised these points again—alongside the critical window safety hazard—directly with management. I was met with an extraordinarily relaxed, indifferent attitude, with no ownership, no apologies, and no attempt to fix the problems while I was on-site. For a returning guest of a decade, this level of service is uncharacteristic, unprofessional, and entirely unacceptable. I expect immediate action on the following items: * Safety Remediation: Written confirmation that Room 206’s window safety restriction has been repaired before another guest—especially a family—is assigned to it.

Location was central which was handy. Been central does mean that the nightlife is close and can be loud. The room had everything that we needed, comfy bed, good shower and the facilities to make a cuppa.

Our room had a fault with the air conditioning unit. Although we never turned it on it started dripping through the night onto the carpet which caused quite a smell. With it been late we never bothered the reception and let them know on check out about the issue. Also the bathroom could of been cleaner.

Location was literally in the middle of the town. Wasn’t far from where we had to get.

It was very noisy from the street, no parking and when we arrived ( 10pm ) receptionist sent us in dirty room, when we tried to swap out he gave us new room, but someone was in there. So at 10pm we were trying open door and some confused people were behind.

When leaving my room the door wouldn’t lock and there was no soap in the bathroom. On my way out for the evening I let reception know of these issues - they reassured me that they would go up and lock it and restock the soaps. When I returned 3 hrs later and asked if the fixes had gone well. The receptionist told me he forgot about it so none of the issues had been resolved. He managed to move me to another room (with very little apology or assistance with moving my bags over). The carpet in the room was filthy and looked like it hadn’t been hoovered in a long time. The room was generally very dated and had bulbs missing in some of the lights. The sink did not drain properly and the shower had mould in it. The room was also very hot and windows faced onto the main road. Even for a Tuesday loud music can be heard from pubs near by till about 3/4am and at 5/6am the roads being cleaned was also very loud so I didn’t get much sleep. Luckily was only staying one night so left as quickly as possible! Would not recommend and will not be coming back

Air conditioning didn't work in our room, what was the hottest day in summer. You can't properly open the window, we asked for fan and got a small squeaky one. At 3am we got woken up by teenagers arguing about their phone staff eventually came upstairs and threaten to call police so after about 15min of screaming teenagers there were empty shampoo/ conditioner/soup bottles so we had to ask for them to be replaced.

How close we was

Upon arrival we was informed early check in started form 9 am -12 pm with different costs for each hour. We tried many times to contact the property via email and phone no answer so we arrived at 11 to pay £25 to check in early to be informed it started at 12.30 we paid £25 . Our room was very very small . It was filthy cobwebs hanging down from the sealing . Carpet ya stuck too . The location you couldn’t have asked for better everything on your door step . But the level of cleanliness was just bad , didn’t even use shower and the bathroom felt gross

Our room had not been cleaned properly. We informed reception that the shower was still dirty, they told us that someone would go back. Somebody did go to the room but the shower was still dirty. The bed was extremely uncomfortable. I have stayed in cleaner and more comfortable rooms for £40. I paid £124 for this one!

Was told no breakfast available on first morning however saw people have breakfast on the second morning. No WiFi in my room. Asked in the morning to be moved when I got back that night however when I got back no one was aware. Was bitten on arms and legs by I presume bed bugs. Dirty stained throw on bed. Watered down shampoo and body wash. Very noisy pub and nightclubs until 4AM.

Where do I start? I have stayed in this property four times and never had a problem. I’ve just come home from a free day. Stay and there is a lot of problems on arrival. We were told there was no breakfast which we did get a refund for and then it was disappointing from then on no toilet roll rooms not clean properly peanuts all over the floor. No remote from the TV room is not being replenished on a day-to-day basis also I know it around the hotel they were not being cleaned as there was pizza boxes left outside the hotel room for a couple of days. There was broken glass on the stairs didn’t get cleaned up just generally not clean had to ask for clean towels had to ask for toilet roll so suspense was watered down. I ended up having to go and buy shower gel because I asked to staff and they never put it in my room. I’m very disappointing as this is in a great location for me but I will not return to this hotel. It was not clean and a waste of my money. I didn’t enjoy it as I had to keep going downstairs to ask the staff for things that they should be doing on a day-to-day basis. Very disappointed.

The air conditioning unit leaked water all over the room while we were in bed, waking us up at 5:30 am and 8am. Not the relaxing night we had hoped for away from the kids! When reported to the hotel on check out, they said to email. I have complained to the hotel direct and the head office but not had a reply! Disgusting customer service!!!

The whole experience the unprofessional manager of the hotel itself and just all round being completely and utterly ripped off and then lied to.by the manager of the hotel very very very unprofessional.

This hotel was the worst ever ! I emailed to say my husband is disabled and could we have an accessible room, was told , we dont allocate rooms until a week before, but we have noted your request. When we arrived 5 steps up to hotel, I had to fold my husband's scooter and carry it up the steps. I said I have booked an accessible room, we dont have any, but I will show you the room, 2 steps up into bathroom with a bath. I explained my husband cannot manage steps very well. Took me to another room which we had to accept. Broken toilet seat, no plug in sink, informed reception, nothing done. Only 2 small ceiling lights at end of bed, so we couldn't relax and read as there was no form of lighting at head of bed. The noise from night clubs was intolerable until 4.0am. The lift was so small a wheelchair wouldn't have got in it, had to fold scooter up and send my husband up and wait for lift to return for me. One day I was carrying scooter up front steps, missed footing went to grab door handle, NOT attached to door so fell forward and really banged my head, a guest came out to help me. The staff MUST have seen what happened as next time we went to go out the complete handle had been removed. This place was lethal especially for old people. I could go on, but leave you to digest what I have said. AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE

Sadly the check in experience was probably the worst I have ever encountered. There was a queue of people at 3pm which is fair enough as that is the allocated check in time. The problem however was there was only one member of staff checking residents in and for some reason each check in was taking about 20 minutes, there was a definite problem because people in the queue were becoming exasperated and were worried about potentially missing the reason they had booked in the hotel in the first place such as attending stag do's etc. I joined the queue at about 2.50pm and got checked in about 4pm!

I look forward to staying again soon, be good if there’s a discount next time.

Shortage of staff, couldn’t check till 7pm because no rooms were ready. Had to queue with 20 other people to check in for 2hr, but then we had to leave to go to our engagement without getting ready. We arrived at the hotel 5:40pm and when we was trying to check in they explained that they have limited twin rooms and asked us to wait 10mins for them to prepare the room. It then took until 6:15 until the room was ready, which isn’t very good considering check in is from 3pm. We had plans for 6:30 which massively delayed us. Then arriving in the room it wasn’t cleaned properly the toilet was still dirty and the bath has some stains

If you have a room facing the street, it can be quite noisy as cafe & bars near by. You have the usual inconsiderate idiot drivers who like to rev their engines. However that’s not the hotels fault. They did provide a fan to help with air flow. The room did smell a bit funny thou. Tea making facilities are in the room, but only coffee was present. A couple of tea bags would have been nice. Reception staff took a scan of my drivers license, not sure why? I didn’t ask though.

Checking into the hotel was a joke. And not even funny. So poorly run .Will not be staying here again. Photos are of the laundry that where in the corridors when I checked in on Saturday. 3pm. I took the photos on my way out 10 am Sunday morning.
