The hotel is conviently located to shopping, dining, Spinnaker tower and ferries. The breakfast was very good, but the same options every day.

My husband & I was placed in two twin beds vs one double bed.

Stayed numerous times & love the location, brekky included grab a coffee from machine., parking just below & staff efficient & polite. Gunwharf Quays on your doorstep for great outlet shopping.

The location is prefect for dining, shopping and catching the ferries to France and Isle of Wight. The breakfast was very good and busy. The hotel restaurant menu is limited but there are plently of other places to eat within a short walking distnance.

Excellent location, friendly, helpful staff.Easy to get extra coffee/ milk for the room. Quiet corridors at night. Easy to adjust room temperature. Plenty of hot water, good shower pressure.

Cleanliness-dusty curtains and ledges in the room, stairwell handrails and door handles sticky. Trays in dining room dirty, machine coffee undrinkable. Toiletries in bathroom very unpleasant. Using open bowls for breakfast yoghurt, jams, cereal. Slices of cheese only appeared on our 3 rd and final breakfast.

Staff were lovely and tried v hard to accommodate our needs. The hotel is very close to the railway station and ferry port. Hotel appeared to be clean. Breakfast was plentiful and breakfast items of good quality.

Ambient music. - same music played on repeat over 24 hrs. Difficult to find. Needs better lighting outside. Most of the immediate area under construction. Was charged 15 quid for a dog stay at reception. This has never been mentioned before in the booking process Despite me pointing out that we were bringing a dog and that was the reason we had chosen the hotel throughout the booking and confirmation process. Ze ro dog facilities provided Rooms were souless, dated and not in good order. Curtains damaged and a badly cracked wash basin. None of the advertised bar food was available. Lovely staff sorted out some chips. These appeared to have been grilled but staff should be applauded for their efforts. Content of breakfast was great. But the self service area layout is confusing and nobody was in attendance to help. Felt like we polished off many steps going back or searching for items. Coffee was out of a machine and undrinkable

The breakfast was very nice. So many choices to choose from. I like that they let us know which times the breakfast room was going to be like, so that we can come at a time suitable to us. The location is good. I love the town centre view. I also love how we can get a discount with our using our key card if we go to a restaurant near the hotel.

We stayed here two nights. The position is excellent. At the heart of all the shops and restaurants. The room was big and quiet. The staff were helpful and friendly.

The bed was old and you would roll into the middle during the night. The pillows were clumpy. Need to be replaced. The shower curtain was dirty needed to be replaced. The place looks a bit run down. It needs freshening up. The breakfast is under staffed. Needs extra staff to keep it looking clean. The cutlery looked dirty.

One lift wouldn't stop on floor 2 and other one rather dark. One pencil light in bedroom not working (reported). Booked standard room and requested twin beds but subject to availability and they weren't. Bed very comfortable but little sleep as one of us has medical needs which wakes the otherst. Is there any way of forewarning customers so they can rethink arrangements?

Location is actually the best for a stay in Portsmouth. In the middle between the old town and all museums and attractions. A plus, you're literally in the Outlets. The rooms are ok. Breaksfast is included and it is nice.

It was all good. If I need to say soemthing, the bathroom looks a bit old. but I must admit, value for money is more than enough for your stay.

The room we reserved and checked into did not look like the pictures of the one that was advertised on the site. The carpets and couch were filthy with crumbs and big pieces of old food that my twin infants were picking up and trying to eat.

The room was dusty and the bathroom smelt. The rooms are a little shabby and breakfast one morning was chaos with no empty tables and they ran out of beans, eggs, hash browns and bacon with no replenishment without waiting. Presumably someone had called in sick or they were short staffed as it was better the following morning. Overall it’s a good hotel if you don’t allow these small niggles to bother you.

A great place to stay when visiting Portsmouth and nearby. A great location, clean and modern hotel. The staff were helpful and efficient. The breakfast buffet was excellent with a wide range of freshly cooked food, fruit, cereal etc. Parking is easy and 24 hours free in the Gunwharf Quays carpark which is just a couple of hundred yards from the hotel.

The front desk people were very friendly. That’s about the only thing good about this hotel.

We ordered a double room with two beds I I’m traveling with a friend. I even messaged the hotel to be sure that my double room would have two separate beds considering we are not a couple. they assured me it had two beds. They had one bed and a roll out. I had to sleep with a car as thick as a comforter with all those metal rods in my back. what an uncomfortable first day of my vacation after traveling for about 20 hours.

Excellent location, easy access of public transport and shopping. Tourist attractions within 10 minute walk.

The rooms with a view overlook shops and bars. We stayed Mon-Fri so not too bad could be an issue on weekend. 1 lift to floor 2 as other broken during our stay.

We stayed twice, both rooms were clean and comfortable, as well as quiet. The breakfast was wonderful tons of choices hot and cold with two coffee machines! Juice, milk and hot chocolate to choose from.

We are Americans and enjoy a queen or king bed also a washcloth when we shower. Other than that, all was great. We can switch up when we travel and again the room was comfortable with a chair and table.

A little tired in some areas but it’s a busy place with high guest turnover so not surprising.

First, a few useful tips for future guests: - The hotel offers discounts on parking, restaurants and shops. You can get 20% off food (excluding drinks) at Zizzi - definitely recommended! - There is a Tesco and Boots very close to the hotel. - If you’re planning to visit the Historic Dockyards, consider buying an annual pass - it’s very good value for money. We would like to say a huge thank you to the hotel team, who truly made our stay special. In particular, Sam at reception is an absolute gem - such a wonderful guy who helped us solve every single problem we had. He was always kind, helpful and genuinely willing to go the extra mile. And Magda - what an incredible, positive and hardworking woman! I have honestly never seen her standing still. She keeps everything running smoothly at breakfast, and without her, I’m sure breakfast would quickly turn into complete chaos! Her energy, dedication and attitude are truly impressive. These two people are the main reason I’m giving this hotel 9 out of 10, despite some of the issues we experienced. Please take care of your team - they are your greatest asset! 🙏🥰

We booked two rooms at the same time, and unfortunately, both rooms felt quite tired and in need of some attention. In one of the rooms, the window was completely blocked- it had literally been screwed shut through the plastic frame with bolts, so it was impossible to open. In the second room, the roof leaked during the rain. We were actually woken up in the middle of the night by the sound of raindrops falling directly onto the carpet😅
