Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was quick and fulfilling. Nothing more and nothing less!

The water in the bathroom wasn’t hot, shower was just above warm. The morning breakfast is from 6:30-9:30, before 8:30 the breakfast was gone with the exception of a few biscuits and flimsy waffles. I was fine because I love biscuits and gravy. But another couple asked the attendant how soon would eggs and bacon be ready. The attendant told the couple she was done nothing else was being prepared whatever is left is what she had. That was disappointing to hear, otherwise I really like staying there.

I like the whole vibe of the hotel, the rooms are good, the beds are super comfy. It has all I need plus a complimentary breakfast. Best of all the location, close to a target, walking distance from multiple restaurants, close to a grocery store, close to a Filipino restaurant, Asian market. All of it. It's my go-to place in Houston.

The location is the best thing about the hotel. Very easy to get anywhere

The rooms smell like mold. I had to have my room switched. The bar was open one day out of the 5 days I was there. The TVs only play cable only also so that isn’t the best.

The location was great the hotel was clean and breakfast was good. I was in town for Dreamcon and the hotel is on main street literally a free train ride 20 blocks. I'll book the same spot next for Dreamcon. Oh yeah there's a target Ross and liquor store and restaurants within blocks of the hotel.

I don't have any dislikes to list. Book the hotel.

Booked a handicap-accessible room, because 2 of 3 guests are handicapped! Showed up and was told they were sorry, but, someone got the last such room just before I showed up (yes, I booked early and prepaid). I was given no options from staff, just take it or leave it. With no other option, I took it. Not how I wanted to be treated. In addition, the room pictures included desk/chairs that did not exist in the room we were given. To me, this is not good business. I didn’t hate it, but, I surely won’t return!

Ubers to the medical center is a great service, the breakfast buffet very good, and the bed was comfy. Location had walking access to supermarket, Target, and restaurants. Frequent bus service almost out front, made it very easy to get around.

The room was generally uncomfortable. No hooks in the bathroom to hang towels, a single hard backed chair in the room. It was nice to have a microwave and minifridge, but we had to sit on the bed to eat what we heated. No hangars for hanging clothes. In general the front desk staff were great but one person was almost surly. One bad apple can spoil the barrel.

the breakfast offered much fewer options than in the past; they scaled back the quality and quantity of breakfast items vastly. also they changed the nice espresso makers in the room to cheap coffee makers that are all cheap plastic and make nasty coffee.

The hotel was delightful, decorated in Vintage or Retro probably 50s or 60s. Very creative decor and handmade jackets for sale - definitely one of a kind. The breakfast was very good.

I was assigned a room that was designated 'Handicap Accessible". It was not. There were no bars to assist with the toilet, the shower had no grip bars and a narrow entrance door. There was no emergency call button to summon help when I needed it. This room should never be considered 'Handicap Accessible". I had them call the EMS to get me out of the shower.

The room is always comfortable. The front desk is always AMAZING. We love those ladies. The breakfast was great. We love the options. The Uber system for MDAnderson patients is a blessing. Thank you

The bar tender was very rude. At times she was obnoxious. Made the sitting area a little hostile.

The staff made me feel welcome right at the beginning!!! So cordial! So helpful!!!

I didn't have any washcloths in my bathroom & I was too tired to call for one. I had a long day & just wanted to go to bed. Plus all of the lights were connected to one switch instead of individual; lamps, overhead. There could be another lamp on the other lampstand.

The beds were super comfortable and the hotel is located near food places and grocery stores. The staff was very friendly as well.

This hotel is relaxing. The location is good and the staff is friendly. They have free breakfast and rides to the hospital. There is free parking and eatery around. It's a great place to relax and prepare for surgery or after.

Location. Close to NRG stadium. Bed was comfortable. Quiet room. Very quiet air conditioning unit. Really friendly helpful staff. The breakfast area was comfortable. Had large TV's to watch the World Cup games. The check out time of 12 noon was much appreciated as was the ability to do some computer work in the breakfast room.

Breakfast was very poor even by American standards. Very few healthy options. Not even plain water just a lot of sugary juices. Omelettes looked like they had heated cheese whiz inside. A few apples but nothing else healthy. Cereal was mostly sugary options. When they rain out of things they didn't replace them. Furniture in the rooms were old especially the tables. There were holes in the plaster in the walls. Nothing large but more than a few. The hotel rooms could use some TLC. Many of the furniture tops were sticky as were the tables in the breakfast room. Would recommend to have a small work desk and chair in each room.

The location, as it's at a walking distance to the stadium.

The check-in experience, staff was unwelcoming. The cockroach in the bathroom. The noisy and dirty AC, air seemed to come out unhealthy. The overall state of cleanliness.

We had to change our room because the bed was dirty , water was so slow , tv wasn’t working , charging plugs wasn’t working by the bed .

Location is the best part…we booked this place bc it was close to the NRG stadium and offered shuttle services. Staff members were nice enough.

Bed was comfortable.

I felt like there was one thing after another that led to what was overall a totally unpleasant stay. When I arrived there was actual poop smeared on the wall of the bathroom and the floor was filthy. The receptionist moved me to another room but poo on the wall is just completely unacceptable and it was obvious. I am certain the receptionist never said about the need to request housekeeping services. When I requested more towels because housekeeping didn't come around, she insisted it was on my info card. My card specifically had the line blank for housekeeping requests, and then gave me another one that had the correct line on it. On the info cards, your room key and holder says "Use a safety deposit box" but there aren't any in the room. Don't be insisting that we use a safe if you're not going to provide them. Also, there were other inconsistencies with communication. One receptionist told me they don't have cutlery for guests to use even though the staff member the previous night gave me a plastic spoon to use with food I bought in a store. What hotel doesn't have cutlery for guests? When I used the gym I couldn't find any sanitary wipes or spray for the equipment. I asked at reception and they said "Oh housekeeping clean it, they'll arrive in a while". I have zero faith in housekeeping after my experience with the poop in the room, and in somewhere as hot and humid as Houston it's gross to have to deal with sweaty gym equipment even though they are refitting it. I also asked if there was a water fountain but they only provide a vending machine for plain fresh water. The fridge was actually a freezer and couldn't adjust the temperature. I had to deal with crunchy yogurt that would take an hour to defrost. Loads of the channels didn't work on the TV and the corridors smelled bad. No desk in the room even though there was loads of space and barely anywhere to hang clothes.

The staff was as warm, friendly and kind as could be! A+ King bed was very, very comfortable.

Mildew/Mold smell in our room No hooks in bathroom to hang a towel or cosmetic bag. Should be a night stand on both sides of bed. Used the only chair as a nightstand. That left only the bed to sit on. Dirty yucky mold stains on curtains. A dead cockroach in room and another time one found wrapped in towel which was handed to me from front desk when I exchanged for new towel. Was our 2nd time there and definitely won’t return. Price was double and we thought that was because they fixed up from last visit November 2025. We were wrong, 6 months later worse. We won’t return. Photos of mildewed curtain included.

The location was very easy to reach. Near stores and amenities.

The rooms had mold and mildew. The bed was wobbly with poor foundation, towels were not clean, and the door didn't lock nor did it have the secondary safety lock latch. Very unsafe. I have asthma and I couldn't even stay the night in the room. The price was very high for the quality of the room. I have stayed here before a couple of years ago and it was very nice and well kept. But this stay was so traumatic, I slept in my car.

The staff was nice. The location was great and the parking was easy. The property felt secure. Overhead lighting in the rooms is a very nice touch!

The bathroom had no towel rack, no toilet paper holder, no wash cloth holder, and the ceiling paint was peeling badly. You just had to set everything, including the toilet paper on the counter. One tiny bar of soap and no shampoo was provided, so you had to carry the tiny bar from the sink to the shower and back. All of this could be fixed cheaply and in a couple of hours. The hallway carpet has shrunk from water damage and did not meet the doors. The doors did not close automatically. The coffee was badly burnt and breakfast was very low quality ingredients.

When I arrived the front desk was under staff which led to several guest waiting and becoming frustrated. After finally getting checked in to my room I was absolutely disgusted with the condition of the rooms stains on the furniture as well as the linings.

I asked to the host for printing 4 pages and she did not will to help me. They have this sign at the room that says that the hotel is visited for many medical patients so if you want your room to be cleaned up, you have to ask for it before 11 am every day at the front desk. The room wasn't really clean. See the pictures attached. Breakfast very poor.
