We had a beach front bungalow it was an amazing. Very clean comfortable. Loved the location 2 min walk to the beach
Good decor. Smart tv. Hammock outside and so clean good housekeepers
La posizione
Personale inesperto. Ponto dolente i “signore” dove vai a ritirare i teli mare. SGARBATISSIMO.

guys in the reception, especially Mr. Omar and ms. Amel and the boss sir naje7.. thank you so much

My parents stayed in for a week, they were very happy with everything

The location is good
Cleanliness and maintenance need serious attention. The bathroom drain was blocked throughout our stay, and despite reporting it, nothing was done. The air conditioning was also a problem, it wasn’t working properly and had an unpleasant smell coming from it. Very disappointing. The food has the same taste all the days, you take beef, chicken or fish they have the same taste.

Top Sejour
Le talasso c’était superrrr
My family and I have been visiting this hotel for the past 20 years, largely because of its perfect location in Hammamet and the generally welcoming and respectful staff. It has always held a special place for us, which is why it is disappointing to see certain aspects of the hotel decline over the years. I would first like to highlight the excellent service we received from several members of staff. At reception, Saber and Amel were extremely helpful and attentive to all of my needs. The cleaners also do an amazing job of ensuring that the rooms are kept clean. One recurring issue is the cashpoint located outside the hotel. Although I understand that the cash machine may not be directly managed by the hotel, it is located on the hotel property, so I believe something should be done to address the situation. The machine is frequently out of cash, and this has been a recurring problem for several years. Furthermore, it sometimes holds customers' cards for several minutes, creating understandable concern that the card may have been retained or that something has gone wrong. Over the past few years, the rooms have also started to feel increasingly tired and in need of refurbishment. The bathrooms are particularly disappointing. Grouting is coming away in chunks, the showers spray water in every direction except where they are supposed to, and the lighting is often too weak to properly illuminate either the toilet or shower area, depending on the layout of the room. The air conditioning has also become unreliable, often only working properly when set to full blast, while some of the vents are becoming loose. These issues need to be addressed if the hotel is to maintain a four-star standard. The food has seen some improvements this year. Breakfast was noticeably better, with fresher pastries, a wider selection of fresh juices, and delicious Tunisian sweets. Dinner was decent; however, there was very little variety, which made the food feel repetitive during a longer stay. The Tunisian night was by far the best, offering more traditional and flavourful dishes such as molokhia, kemounia and brik. The pasta chefs were also extremely accommodating and prepared delicious vegetarian pasta, which was particularly appreciated as the restaurant generally lacks sufficient vegetarian options. The service in the restaurant was excellent. We regularly sat in the section served by Mohammed and Hani, who treated us with the utmost kindness and always ensured that we had everything we needed. Senior members of staff also seemed much more helpful this year, which was a positive improvement. The lifeguards were also fantastic, especially Dali and Abdullah. They were very friendly, attentive and regularly checked on us to ensure that we were safe and enjoying our time. Overall, the daytime entertainment activities have improved this year. Simon was by far one of the most interactive members of the entertainment team. He consistently made guests laugh and always went above and beyond to involve people in the activities. However, the evening entertainment often struggled to maintain the audience's interest, with crowds frequently leaving before the end of the shows. It would be great to see the animators perform more of their own shows. For example, the dancing in the Bollywood show was amazing, but the lengthy period of acting at the beginning caused many guests to lose interest. It would also be nice to see more hotel dances in the evenings, as these appear to be enjoyed by many guests. It is a shame that the hotel dance “Hella Decale” has gradually disappeared and been replaced by “Jerusalema”, which has become repetitive due to being played multiple times throughout the day. When “Hella Decale” was used as the main club dance a few years ago, it attracted a much larger crowd to the dance floor because of its more uplifting atmosphere. Finally, I feel that having all members of the entertainment team take their day off on a Monday is the wrong approach. Considering that the hotel advertises itself as having an entertainment team, having no activities at all on one day of the week can leave a poor impression, particularly for guests who have only just arrived. Ultimately, although I enjoyed my stay and still have a great deal of affection for this hotel after visiting for so many years, there are many improvements that need to be made. The hotel has enormous potential, and the staff remain one of its greatest strengths. However, significant work is needed, particularly regarding the condition of the rooms, food variety, and certain aspects of the entertainment programme, in order to maintain the standards expected of a four-star hotel and ensure that guests feel the experience is worth the price being charged.
I have been coming to Bel Azur Thalasso & Bungalows for years, and it has always been a place I really enjoy returning to. This year was another lovely stay, and there are so many things that made our holiday enjoyable. The hotel and our room were generally clean and well looked after. However, there were a couple of things in our room that I think could be improved. I struggled to fully close the curtains, which was a little inconvenient. I also found that the bathroom was starting to look quite outdated this year, with things such as the pink wall tiles and shower curtain. The shower itself was also quite difficult to use as the water sprayed in several directions rather than staying in one place. These are only small things, but updating some of the bathrooms and facilities would definitely make the rooms feel even better. The food was enjoyable, and I would especially like to give a shout-out to the chef in charge of the pasta. One member of my family is vegetarian, and he was incredibly helpful and made us fresh pasta every day, which we really appreciated. The waiters in the first section of the restaurant during dinner were also amazing, especially Mohammed and Hani, who were always friendly and helpful. For a couple of days, we were also able to have Boga Cidre, which was a delicious Tunisian drink. I really enjoyed it and would love to see it available every day! The entertainment team definitely deserves a special mention. There are lots of members of the entertainment team, but especially Momo, Simon and Pauline, who work extremely hard throughout the day and put so much effort into the poolside activities, including Zumba, yoga, dance classes, aqua gym and much more. They brought so much energy to the hotel and genuinely made our stay 10 times better. They were definitely some of the highlights of our holiday. The poolside snacks, pizza and pancakes, were delicious. However, I think it would be a great addition to have ice cream or another snack available throughout the day for both children and adults to enjoy. At the moment, the pancakes and pizza are only available for around two hours, from 3–5pm, so having another option available at other times would be a lovely improvement. I would also like to give a big shout-out to the lifeguards Abdullah and Dali, who were both amazing and always attentive around the pool. I would also like to mention Saber at reception, who was very helpful and friendly during our stay. Their kindness and hard work really added to our experience. I really enjoyed all of the evening shows, but I find them 10 times better when the entertainment team put them on themselves rather than bringing in outside performers. I love seeing the same entertainers who have been doing the activities throughout the day performing in the evening too. Their shows feel more personal, fun and are definitely a highlight of the stay. Overall, we had another great stay at Bel Azur and I would definitely recommend it. There are a few areas that could benefit from updating, but the friendly staff, fantastic entertainment and enjoyable food made our holiday a really memorable one. I have been coming for years and look forward to returning again!

I had an incredible time there but if anyone knows the name of the boys at the snacking bar by pizza and crepes could u tell me?🫶
Excellent hotel; foods, entertainment
Beautiful sea and pleasant gardens. Small fish sometimes nibble while swimming, which is annoying but obviously not the hotel’s fault.
Check-in was unpleasant due to the attitude of the staff member handling a card-payment issue. Rooms are dated and poorly maintained: broken balcony-door handle, partially blocked sink and nowhere to hang towels in the shower. Housekeeping is average and, incredibly, on two mornings staff had loud arguments in the corridors that prevented us from sleeping. Paper/napkins are frequently missing and there are no bins conveniently located around the pools. Food was the biggest disappointment: very poor buffet, extremely worn cutlery, the worst and most tasteless pizza I’ve ever had, and omelettes with premixed vegetables rather than ingredients of your choice. Restaurant staff can be rude and unpleasant, sometimes ignoring questions, while tables are cleaned slowly and superficially and staff chat or argue among themselves. The outdoor restaurant is also plagued by flies. Pools are dated, crowded and poorly suited to families: depths reach 2.8 m while the small shallow areas become packed. We repeatedly noticed a sewage-like smell near the pool in front of the bar. Poolside upkeep is poor: guests left clothes and food over a decorative plant directly in front of us despite having loungers nearby; staff saw it, did nothing and even stopped to joke with them. The bar selection is very limited and even sodas can be flat. Snacks are available only 3–5 p.m. and consist of mediocre pizza and bland pre-made chocolate crêpes. The animation team know their job, although the music feels stuck in the 1990s and they sometimes spend too much time socialising with tourists or initiating forced conversations. Overall, Bel Azur feels dated, poorly maintained and
I am Really disappointed with the hotel and the reception staff and managers in Bel Azur. The hotel falsely advertised a gym and spa pool area that actually belong to the 5* hotel next door and you can’t use them. Their indoor pool was also closed for refurbishment. The bar service is slow and unfriendly serving low quality spirits and drinks in expresso size paper cups. The pool bar would only make a cocktail if I tipped well but that shouldn’t be the case. I felt pressured to tip all the time. Overall the room was ok but very dated and the balcony was very dirty. Therefore we didn’t use it. The beach is beautiful. On the 2nd last day my gold earrings were stolen from our room by the cleaning team . When I reported this to the manager, he was very rude to me and unwilling to help .The superior manager refused to sign a report I could show to my insurance, and walked off to speak with a French family , leaving me with the lower manager who kept arguing with me. It ruined our holiday . I got the impression that because I’m female I was dismissed often and the staff couldn’t be bothered to help with any inquiry. The female receptionist is also abrupt and lacks customer service skills. This hotel should be advertised as 3*
Great location, bungalow on the beach although more of a room at the edge of the beach. Clean and a fantastic friendly cleaner. Food pretty good, usual monotonous all inclusive fare. Excellent bar staff, extremely annoying pool music which according to one of the staff has been the same for years. Poolside staff happy to take tips then move people from sun beds to accommodate those who pay, same with the beach staff. Showers in rooms fire directly against the shower curtain, they’re placed on the side wall of the bath. This leads to flooding of the bathroom floor. Aircon in the rooms pretty average and almost non existent in the main bar. Only access to water in the daytime is from water dispensers at the bars, you can’t get a bottle of water until after 9pm. Every day the bars ran out of paper cups also. Big negative is that if you check out at 12 on the last day but have a later flight then unless you change before 12 you have to use the pool side showers to wash and change in the cramped changing rooms, those next to the beach stink by the way. If you’re looking for a bit more luxury go elsewhere, if bog standard but with largely friendly staff is what you want then come here.
Booked a bungalow with garden view as with an older friend with mobility issues. Nope we were up a flight of stairs and our garden view was a tin roof tried to move rooms and was told you come back in 24 hours as all booked, returned the next day and was told a flat no and ghst ws the end of that conversation walked away ss didn't want a row, air conditioning unit was awful the room was baking called them out twice, 2nd time was because it stunk of fuel so was very concerned opened the door and called reception they came an hour later and took the grill off put some disinfectant on some loo roll and put it in the vent, we were to worried to turn it back on so didn't sleep well for 5 nights, had a cockroach move in and he was accidently squashed, got them to come and remove it and they picked it up with toilet roll and left they cleaned nothing, had issues with the pathway with big bits missing and in the dark it's a death trap.food good for all inclusive as we're the drinks pool areas clean but you pool can get loud, bottom pool better, beach beautiful and most staff spat from reception were lovely. Not a 4 star though and I really wouldn't upgrade to a bungalow as absolutely not worth it, love tunisia but would not return here even if it was free
L ambiance piscine
Chambre buffet
This hotel is far from 4 star, The all inclusive is fine for people who aren’t too fussy but really struggle with kids eating, all dining is buffet style and very much the same each day, no ice cream, poor alcohol choice and generally a very low standard all inclusive package, pools are fine and didn’t really struggle for sunbeds, beach is lovely clean and nice shallow good swimming area even children are nice and safe. Staff at the reception are the most unhelpful people on site which isn’t the best. Nice and close to the airport around 40mins although if you are a nervous traveller going anywhere is an experience as I think driving licences come free with a bag of crisps ! Room was vintage and the shower head was more of a room sprinkler as it shot of at all angles and liked to wait until you had a hair full of shampoo before swinging up and spraying directly over the curtain 😆 Overall we enjoyed our holiday and didn’t starve but wasn’t great value for money unfortunately
Just returned from an amazing and memory filled 7 nights at this beautiful hotel. ALL the staff who work here are such amazing people and made our stay even that more bit special. Location is great and just a short walk to local shops, cafe's and restaurant’s. Positive atmosphere throughout our 7 nights here. Rooms where tidy and clean from the beginning to the end of our holiday Extremely good value for money. We had a "Sea View" room up on the top floor that faced out towards the hotels evening main stage and of an evening there was always some great music being played. It wasn't in anyway too loud that prevented us from sleeping though. Always hot and cold drinks available from morning to night from the bars. Plenty of choice of food for breakfast, lunch and evening meal. Food was always fresh and very tasty. This was our first ever trip/holiday to Tunisia and we was not disappointed what so ever by our experience at this hotel. All the hard working staff are always smiling, always extremely polite and could not do enough to make our holiday so special. Thank you so much to every single member of staff, you have left us with fantastic and lasting memories that we are definitely coming back next year for sure.
Would be good if they had more variety of food and make the WiFi better. The fitness center is paid which is crap, I booked the hotel with the intention of also using the fitness center for free.
Exceptional stay! The location was fantastic and the room was exceptionally clean. The food was amazing with a wonderful variety to choose from. A special thanks to the staff for being so kind and helpful Mr. Sabri was incredibly professional. I highly recommend working with him
there are a few drawbacks at the beach area. There is no lifeguard on duty, which is a safety concern. Additionally, there is no complimentary water or basic drinks nearby; if you want anything, you have to buy it from the resort's coffee shop at quite expensive prices. I recommend also someone explain the different places in the hotel as have a lot of facilities.
Restaurant staff was friendly
Room facilities and housekeeping under expectations
Very poor experience – definitely not a 4-star hotel Unfortunately, our experience at this hotel was extremely disappointing and fell well below what we expected from a 4-star hotel. The TUI representative was reluctant to help and, in our experience, appeared to take the side of the hotel staff rather than properly addressing our concerns. The reception service was also poor by certain staff. "Chatha" the reception lady made promises that were not followed through, and we found her manner unfriendly and unhelpful. The hotel itself is very outdated and clearly needs significant investment. The restaurant equipment and facilities are also outdated even staff complain about this, and the restaurant felt more like a school canteen than what we would expect from a 4-star hotel. There were a large number of local guests and children during our stay. We felt that locals had easy access to the swimming pool and snack bar, sometimes without paying, which created an uncomfortable atmosphere for paying holidaymakers. There were also frequent arguments and disturbances around the beach and pool. Sunbeds were regularly reserved overnight, making it difficult for other guests to find suitable places during the day. Security was another major concern. Personal belongings can be vulnerable, and we did not feel that security was adequate. Given our own experience, this is something the hotel should take much more seriously. The spa is another disappointment. The photographs advertising the spa should be removed if the spa facilities shown are not actually included for hotel guests. Guests should not be given an impression of facilities that they cannot use as part of their stay. We also found that tipping seemed to be expected from most staff if you wanted better service and a smile, which should not be the case. Good customer service should be provided to every guest regardless. What was most frustrating was the constant feeling that nothing was ever the hotel's fault. There always seemed to be an excuse rather than someone taking responsibility and taking meaningful action. The hotel is desperately in need of investment, better management, improved security, upgraded facilities and a much stronger focus on customer service. Based on our experience, we would rate this as a 3-star hotel at best, certainly not the 4-star standard advertised by the management. My advice to future guests is do not expect much to change unless the owners take these concerns seriously. If the current situation continues, things are likely to get worse rather than better. I genuinely hope these reviews are read by the hotel owners and senior management, not simply the staff, because the problems need to be addressed at management level. And if the hotel chooses to respond to this review, I sincerely hope it will be more than another list of excuses, explanations, pointing fingers and promises. What is needed now is action, accountability and real change. Very disappointing, and not an experience we would want to repeat.
Terrible food , all inclusive package and the food was very bad I went out to eat Lack of staff 1000 guests in the hotel and not enough staff for service Dirty room I requested to come and clean 2 times before checking in Ac not working , water leaking from ceiling I book this hotel based on rating and it was not matching the reality
Giving this resort only two stars, because of the sexual harrassment that my daughter and I experience on the beach, the hotel needs to up their security on male vendors / local men that are allowed to sell their wares on the stretch of beach that the resort uses. We couldn't leave the resort because it is extremely unsafe for women. The hotel was clean and the food was lovely, but I would not recommend coming to Tunisia and to this resort if you are women alone without husband or sons. The experience was very upsetting for my daughter.

This is my updated view….having moved rooms. Booking this hotel was like matching with someone on a dating app whose profile pictures were clearly taken fifteen years, a couple of stone and several life choices ago. Every photo radiated pristine beauty and understated luxury. You arrive expecting George Clooney and are greeted by Uncle George. The online photos are not exactly lies—they're simply... aspirational. Somewhere, sometime, this hotel really did look like that but has clearly been neglected. The reality is a building that's looking decidedly long in the tooth. The tiles and paths are often cracked, The furniture has survived a battering and things like pillows and sun beds are bravely soldiering on. Paint peels with quiet determination and there are enough knocks, scuffs and patches to suggest that "shabby chic" lost the battle with "just shabby" quite some time ago. For the first few days, I felt thoroughly catfished. I couldn’t decide if the online photos deserved an award or a criminal investigation. Then, just as I was drafting another withering review in my head, the hotel started revealing its actual personality. The location is superb. The staff are wonderfully warm, funny and genuinely eager to help—so effortlessly kind that they make you feel like a very cherished guest. Then the food arrives, and it's good, really good. . Consistently fresh varied and something for all tastes. . Slowly, the cracks stop being the whole story. You notice you're smiling more than you're complaining. The faded décor becomes background noise because the people and the experience are so unexpectedly good. This hotel isn't the glamorous date from the profile pictures. It's the one who arrives wearing an old jumper, desperately needs a haircut, and should probably retire the photos from a much younger era. But then they make you laugh, treat you brilliantly, cook you an incredible meal, and by the end of the evening you realise you've stopped caring what they look like. To the management…Please, update the photos of the rooms…they're setting everyone up for unnecessary disappointment. And yes, the place is crying out for some investment and a proper facelift. But beneath the worn tiles, faded paint and creaking furniture is something that can't be renovated into existence: genuine hospitality, real character and a great big heart. To the owners- it’s a privilege to own a property like this, in a location like this, with such dedicated employees but I fear if you don’t invest in the maintenance of this total gem, complaints will become more frequent. Your hard working team and your guests deserve better. A final thought, it may not be the hotel you think you're booking but it may just be “the one”! My original review… We have only been here a couple of days so for the sake of fairness, I shall write a follow up review after our holiday. It’s always good to start with a positive, Tunisia is a fantastic holiday destination. The beaches, sea and more importantly, the people make it a wonderful place to spend your holiday. We have enjoyed all inclusive holidays here before and never been disappointed…until now. Each year, like other families, we pour over all the holidays available and then with hope and anticipation, book “the one!”. We then start the count down and daydream about spending special family time away from the distraction of the daily grind. When the holiday is good, it’s epic but when it disappoints, it hurts. This is the case with Bel Azur. The photos advertised show well maintained rooms and attractive dining room at a 4 star standard. The reality is far removed. We arrived on Saturday evening to a chaotic overcrowded hotel. We were told to go for dinner as the restaurant would close at 9pm. We were greeted with uncleared tables and food running out. What was available was fresh and well prepared but it was mayhem. We were then asked to wait for someone to show us to our rooms. (We had 2 booked). We waited, asked again where our room was until we finally after half an hour we found it and moved our own luggage. So the rooms… very dated. They are clean but look dirty because they are decrepit. Our room was right above the entertainment outside reception and above the smoking area. The room smelt of cigarettes and the promised balconies are a ledge with a railing. Loud, smelly and depressing. We raised our concerns and now 2 days later we have been moved to a quieter room with a balcony…backing onto a filthy flat roof. The sad thing is that the staff here really are brilliant. They are warm, helpful, attentive and work incredibly hard but it’s hard to provide four star service in what is best rundown 3 star facilities. The restaurant and pools seem seriously overcrowded and I know it’s peak season but this should be the problem of the hotel and not something guests should suffer. We are planning some trips so I will add those to my update.
I had yet another wonderful stay with friends at this hotel for birthday celebrations!! My room was cleaned everyday by my lovely cleaner lady. Yes the food can be repetitive but there is always something to eat at each meal time!! The animation team are amazing and will always try to get everyone involved in activities. Big massive shout out to simon, ziko and momo who are great and always there to help with advice if you need any help. The pool bar staff yassin and koussay are great always bringing drinks and amazing cocktails to me and my friends. Also a big mention to kamel who works in the lobby bar for always making sure my coffee was ready for me in the morning. I have been coming to this hotel for 3+ years and will continue to return. The location is good and you can walk to the old medina and the local shops or a short taxi ride into the new medina. Would definitely recommend this hotel.
Man muss erneuern! Kleiderschrank ist sehr alt!
Personnel très à l'écoute, emplacement impeccable
La climatisation n'était pas au top
The food was really good.
Cibo é fantastico e sempre qualcos'altro da provare e bellissimo presentazione dai cuochi. 5☆☆☆☆☆
Tutto mi é piaciuto 🥰
La plage
Attitude du personnel
The location is really good it’s beachfront and family friendly. Throughout our stay we met really good staff they were always smiling and ready to help. We were looking for steamed vegetables for my daughter and the chef made us some which really made our day.
The buffet was not that good it didn’t have a lot of variety some items were not fresh
Poor room cleaning! We caught the housekeeper wiping the sink using a towel. We also noticed that they don't use detergents, just water to clean. The tea cups in my room have lipstick marks. I had to wrap the remote control to use it. It was gross. I have ants in my bathroom and the sink is clogged. Towels are old. No handle to open the cabinet to the mini fridge. The cleaning crew is loud in the hallway and kinda disrespectful. Old mattresses! This cannot be a 4 star hotel!!! It's not worth the money and ruining your vacation!!!

We had a very pleasant stay at the Bel Azur Hammamet Hotel. Beyond the property itself, which may feel a little dated in some areas, what truly makes the difference is the warmth, hospitality, and professionalism of the entire team. I would especially like to thank Mr. Ben Ammar, the restaurant manager, as well as all the restaurant staff. They were incredibly helpful in organizing my daughter’s birthday celebration and showed outstanding professionalism. Their attentiveness, kindness, availability, and high-quality service made this occasion truly special. A special thank you also goes to the chefs, who do their very best every day to offer an excellent, generous, and varied buffet. The quality of the food, the wide selection, and the efforts of the entire kitchen team contribute greatly to a successful stay. I would also like to thank the receptionists and the hotel manager, who were very cooperative, understanding, and caring. We had a small issue upon arrival because the room was not the one we usually book, but the team handled the situation with great understanding and generosity. Every year, I am more and more satisfied with my stays at Azur Hotels. I highly recommend this hotel, especially because of the wonderful people who work there and give real value to the guest experience. I cannot mention everyone by name, but a big congratulations and heartfelt thank you to the entire team for their warm welcome and kindness.
I really liked the Sol Azur hotel, the beach is very nice and the water is clear with cute fishes in it. The food is tasty and the view from the restaurant is very beautiful. I was also went for a sunny trip to Hammamet, very beautiful white and blue old city, Mimo and Zizo are great and funny animators :)
Overall, this holiday was disappointing. The hotel is very dated and lacks the standard you would expect for a 4 star. Our first room (Bungalow with sea view) was unacceptable. The furniture was broken, the toilet leaked, the curtains were hanging off and the aircon was not as you would expect. We did request to be moved and the staff did offer us another room without question. The second room was an improvement but again, not to the standard of what you see advertised. There are also repeated powercuts, lasting more than a few hours at a time. Food is sub standard and repetitive. However, all of the entertainment staff are lovely and the pool area is nice. You do need to get up very early to secure a sunbed though so bear that in mind.
I am currently staying at this hotel, and I very rarely leave negative reviews because I know people can sometimes be overly critical. However, I feel genuinely disappointed by our experience. We booked two rooms as we are travelling as a family with my husband and our two daughters. We arrived late after a delayed flight and asked if we could have some drinking water. We were told there would be water in our rooms, but there wasn't. After a long journey, we couldn't even have a drink or take the medication I needed before bed, which was a very poor start to our stay. The rooms are clean, but they are small and very basic for what is advertised as a 4-star hotel. I could accept that, but the bathroom was another disappointment. When I used the shower, the shower head kept switching back to the tap. The fixture is so old and stiff that I couldn't switch it back properly, so I had to finish washing by filling the bath instead.we have had issues with our room safe and the air con in the room is ok as long as it does not get too hot. The hotel has only two small lifts. One is awkward to use and most guests seem to avoid it, which means long waits for the other lift. This would be particularly frustrating for anyone with mobility issues. We also requested two room keys per room, but this was refused. As a family with young children, this makes things unnecessarily difficult. It means we are constantly knocking on each other's doors because someone always has the only key. An additional key is a simple request that would make a big difference, and it would also prevent unnecessary disturbance to neighbouring rooms, particularly in the evenings. The restaurant has also been disappointing. The food is very basic and certainly not what I would expect from a 4-star hotel. The dining room staff work hard but simply cannot keep up with the number of guests, so tables are often left uncleared and the dining area feels untidy. There is also a very limited drinks selection during meals. Wine and soft drinks are not readily available unless they are on self-service, and there are no staff offering table service for drinks. Again, this falls well below the standard I expected. I understand that expectations should match the price paid, but this was not a cheap holiday. You work hard all year to treat your family to a holiday, and it is disappointing to feel that we would have been more comfortable staying at home. There are some positives. The pool area is lovely, the cleaner on our floor has been excellent and very attentive, and the lifeguard by the pool has been extremely helpful and friendly. Overall, I feel let down by what is advertised as a 4-star hotel. There are some dedicated members of staff doing their best, but the facilities, food, and overall guest experience do not reflect the standard or value that was promised. This version is more likely to be taken seriously by both the hotel management and other travellers because it is factual, specific, and balanced while acknowledging the positive aspects of your stay.
Hotel in the middle of Royal azur and Sol azur. Stayed in a sea view bungalow..stunning views and room. Great service from waiters (always tip 😉☺️)food edible and mountains of it. Walk into the medina is a must and the restaurants etc are really great value. Sea swimming is amazing 🤩. On arrival make sure you have conformation of your hotel booking with your names to send in to the reception as this was my only issue and couldn’t find easily on the easy jet app. Local pubs ,restaurants across the road are amazing if you fancy a change
Stayed at this hotel for 10days. The animation team are fantastic Chaba, Momo, Simon and Zico are all amazing, so friendly and full of energy they really give you a laugh and work so hard. The waiting staff are fabulous very attentive. The hotel is quite outdated but is very clean, the ladies make sure this place is spotless. The food is ok, edible. It can get quite repetitive but there are shops just outside and a few good restaurants. The corner restaurant is delicious.
Another fantastic holiday at the bel azur one of my favourite destinations. Friendly clean rooms amazing food and to top it off the animation team go above and beyond to make sure you are having an amazing time. Especially Simon always happy and ready for a laugh. Bar and resturant team always go the extra mile to make sure you have what you want. Our cleaner was absolutely amazing. Can't wait to come back. They really treat you like family.
We have just returned from the most amazing holiday at the Bel Azur Hotel in Hammamet, and we will definitely be back! This was our first trip to Tunisia and... Wow! What an incredible country. The Tunisian people are some of the kindest, warmest and friendliest people we have ever met. They made us feel so welcome from the moment we arrived, and it really added to what was an unforgettable holiday. Before travelling, we had read a few negative reviews, but honestly, they couldn't have been further from our experience. From the moment we arrived until the day we left, everything exceeded our expectations. What really made this holiday so special was the incredible staff. Every single member of the team deserves recognition – the cleaners who kept everything spotless, the chefs who produced such a fantastic variety of delicious food, the waiters and bar staff who were always smiling and so attentive, the reception team, the porters, the gardeners, the lifeguards, and of course the fantastic animation team. A special mention has to go to Simon from the animation team. His banter, energy and enthusiasm were second to none, and he genuinely made every day more enjoyable. Simon is a real credit to the hotel, just as the rest of the staff are. Every single person we met went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, and nothing was ever too much trouble. It is the people who truly make this hotel stand out. Their warmth, kindness and professionalism made our holiday extra special and created memories we'll never forget. Thank you to everyone at Bel Azur for such an incredible holiday. We can't wait to return! All the best from Gillian and Gregor from Scotland 🏴❤️Xx
