Beautiful view with great amenities!staff were excellent and went out of their way to make our stay memorable. The breakfast was amazing with great variety
Location and friendliness of the staff
The sun beds could be more comfortable
Location
The same half board menu every night.. no changes meant limited choice.. decided to forgo dinner on the third night despite paying for it
The overall setting was breathtaking! Being able to walk to town was a bonus without having to take the rental car out every day. We were overwhelmed by the vast array of food options for the breakfast buffet.
Honestly, there wasn't anything that we would have changed. It exceeded our expectations. We have no complaints!
The location and the kind staff. The restaurants as well
The view is amazing.
The staff was not very friendly except for the bellman
O jantar incluso no primeiro dia.
Beautiful scenery
Room temperature very uncomfortable very hot
The service provided by the front line staff was fantastic. Special mention to Ricardo who defines the word service.

Vimos baratas.
What a beautiful hotel in a location that can’t be beat. We celebrated our 20 th wedding anniversary here. Everything was perfect and dinner was excellent! We were even surprised with a sampling of fine chocolates complete with a candle!! We loved everything about our stay!
Nothing
Postel pohodlná a koupelna čistá.
Amazing breakfast buffet, very helpful and friendly staff, incredible view (sea view), great location, Sky Bar was really special and lots of shaded areas to sit and have a drink/bite to eat, pool area and service was great, spa was a special experience.
Had dinner at the fancy restaurant, found it a bit over-priced, and the food was "ok" but not exceptional.
Absolutely stunning property. The view and the scenery is second to none in the Algarve. Our room was huge and so comfortable. The deck we had was amazing and private.
view is beautiful. short walk or drive to beautiful spots. amazing breakfast. room is comfortable, good shower.
staff was rude at bars and restaurant, booking was confusing. the balcony did not face the ocean and the view was absolutely terrible. when we asked to change to a different room (even for higher price), staff was rude and said it wasn’t available. we checked online and it clearly was still bookable. hallway smelled like chlorine even though we were not near the pool at all. pool staff never available to provide towels. hotel was confusing to explore and we kept getting lost on the first day, staff was not helpful nor provided a tour. other guests were very loud and rambunctious at breakfast, leaving a mess and not acting polite. the road was full of dust and walking around felt like walking on the side of an industrial road not a quaint beachside neighborhood. we stayed here during the world cup. very small TVs and no good spot to watch the matches
La posizione è la vista sulla scogliera . Il cibo era ottimo in generale
La cena al mare bistro piuttosto scadente
Love this hotel and the gorgeous staff they are all so friendly and welcoming
Nothing
Breakfast location is stunning, if you get an outside seat. Room was great, even if some neighbors were noisy on a couple nights. We chose a front room so view was good. Like the occasional little treats like fruit at the poolside
Noisy neighbors, towels were a little worn/old
Da vista, é maravilhosa
Não tenho do que reclamar

Views were exceptional. Staff were highly professional & friendly. Location is perfect
the outdoor pool is like a zoo. Too many unsupervised young kids jumping/diving in.
Great breakfast. Best possible views.
Beautiful location and very close walking to beaches and town. Short drive to other Algarve landmarks
Breakfast is fantastic, pool is great and scenery is epic. Sushi is 10/11 and the Roof Top Bar is 10/10. Carvoeiro town is lovely so get down there also and Algor Seco.
Main Restaurant, dinner even when booked, shockingly bad for timing.... staff just told us they were short staffed in kitchen but appallingly bad wait time between ordering, drinks coming, starters to mains, just disjointed and it is weird as the hotel otherwise was top notch and the food when it came was excellent but 2 hours for 2 courses !!. So No need to go to main restaurant for dinner, just go to the restaurant beside pool or sushi in the roof top.
The setting of this hotel is so dreamy!!! The staff was very friendly and welcoming. I love that they provide tuk tuk transportation into town! Make sure you request a room with a view. The view at breakfast is perfect, they had plenty of food options for everyone. It was my husband's birthday, and they surprised him with a cake and champagne at breakfast. This hotel just seems to go above and beyond the expectations! We will be back to Carvoeiro, and we will absolutely be staying with Tivoli again!
I do think the hotel could use a small renovation, and I did not love that they didn't put us in a room with a views, but I really cannot think of any other complaints! It was such an awesome stay!!!

Cleanliness, attention to detail, staff friendliness, especially by the pool & Mere restaurant.
Nothing
Vista. Academia interna e externa.
The room was quiet. It had everything that we needed. I like that they offer a free drink if one skips housekeeping. Which is a nice and "green" idea. I think the hotel could improve the advertisement for this special by making it more obvious to travelers that they can opt in for this. Maybe the card should say "FREE DRINK" and then more people would take advantage of it. We booked half board and I think the dinner was very good, especially on the lobby floor.
We were disappointed that there was more beach access as was advertised in the photos. I think the hotel should update its pictures and make it clear in the hotel description that there is no access to the beach. It was not clear to us at all. Furthermore, the rooms could use a facelift. Everything is a bit heavily used and the balcony door for example is tough to open and close. The pool is extremely kid-friendly, which is great for anyone with kids. Visually, the pool area is not really attractive, as there is a bit metal fence that blocks off the two parts of the pool. The gym could use additional treadmills. It's also annoying that neither staff nor visitors close the doors to the gym and the accompanying bathrooms. Men were constantly walking through the women's changing room because all the doors were left open. And there could be more love for detail. The wall clock in the steam room and sauna area wasn't working and needed a new battery. It's the little things that matter to make something a five-star-hotel.
Had a beautiful view. And a few different view spots which was nice.
The beach was not accessible which was pretty misleading from the hotel. It was in fact chained off. There were 2 inch roaches in the hallways and smaller ones in the rooms. The hallways felt dingy, dark and more like a motel than a five star hotel.
It was a wonderful location for a family holiday with two small children. The views are wonderful, breakfast is delightful.
The evening meal selections felt a little limited.

The view
It’s want not clean, even near the pool area and in room as well
Great hotel, amazing views and service. Staff at kids club were great too
Let me start with the good, because there genuinely is some. The location is perfect. You're set just outside the hustle and bustle of town but close enough to walk to restaurants, shops, and the beach. And the view is, obviously, stunning. Unfortunately, that's where the positives end. This was the farthest thing from a five-star hotel - and you're paying five-star prices. The room. We booked a Family Deluxe with a terrace. It's a very large room, but it's cold and bare, with almost no furniture. The one small TV hangs in an odd spot in the middle of the room. The carpets under the bed and sofa were dirty, the tiles were chipped throughout, and the towels were so old they'd gone gray. The shower didn't drain the entire stay. The phone never worked once, so for any question or issue we had to physically walk down to the front desk. We upgraded specifically for the terrace and never used it - the furniture out there was old and uninviting. And then the roaches. In room 546, roaches were crawling along the baseboards in the hallway, and a couple made their way into our room. We reported it immediately. The hotel sent an exterminator and did a "deep clean," but by then the damage was done for all of us. The drain was still never cleared and the phone was never fixed. The pool area. Lovely view, again. But there was construction going on down toward the water, so that section was off-limits. The pool service was non-existent - over five days, not once did anyone come by to ask if we wanted a drink or food. You have to walk up to the bar and order yourself. The loungers are old and pretty busted. The pool itself is small, and only one side is shallow enough to stand in, so the shallow end gets crowded fast. Everything else. Breakfast was decent but nothing special. The carpets throughout the hotel are stained beyond belief, and the hallways are damp and smell of mold. The tuk-tuks are a nice touch in theory, but there's never one around when you need it and they don't stick to the posted schedule - essentially useless. All in all, this hotel needs a MAJOR renovation - the rooms, the hallways, the pool area, all of it. The setting deserves so much better than what's currently being charged for.
BEAUTIFUL LOCATION
NOISE IN MORNING CLOSE TO MY BEDROOM
Nickel on recommande fortement
A big thank you to Jahan our tuk tuk driver at the Tivoli who was super friendly, courteous and helpful during our stay.
The hotel is very nice, the breakfast buffet is extremely good and has a lot of healthy options. However, the room 638 needs improvement : shower holders broke during shower, the drain also needs to be renewed and mosty importantly it was very noisy probably because of the air conditioning system of the hotel.
Sky bar.. lovely setting but disappointed with the quality of drinks. Paying €15 for a cocktail to be flat is not ideal. Sad to see!
Best place in Carvoeiro! Lovely staff, stunning view, and chef Rafael’s Sushi made it even more special!
Instalaciones y perfecta ubicación

Lovely staff , nice view from poop
Everything was good
We had such a great time at this hotel! The views are absolutely spectacular, and the kids really enjoyed all the amenities — especially the pool, kids’ room, and playground. A special shoutout to Sayury at the Pluma Junior Club. She was so friendly, warm, and wonderful with our two boys that they genuinely didn’t want to leave the hotel! She really made their experience extra special. 💕 The rooftop bar is also something special — such a beautiful spot to relax, enjoy a drink, and take in the incredible views. Definitely one of the highlights of the hotel! Overall, we had a wonderful stay and thought the hotel itself was amazing. The only area that could use some improvement was the service. There seemed to be some staffing challenges during our stay, which meant service was sometimes quite slow, and unfortunately, this seemed to impact the food experience as well. That said, we had a fantastic family vacation and would definitely recommend the hotel — especially for families with kids! 😊
Muito bom
Disappointing experience compared to our fabulous few stays at your sister hotel in Costa Adeje, Tenerife. This is not a 5 star hotel but is charging the prices of one. We brought our children (20 year olds) here to share with them the luxury of the Tivoli brand but were disappointed it wasn’t what we expected. As a travel agent I have experience with many hotels and brands and this falls way short of what I’d expect my clients to receive as 5 star luxury. This sadly won’t be on my list for future clients. It is good to see some improvements being made around the pool area with the cabanas being installed and work on the outside pool area but it’s a shame it’s happening whilst clients are enjoying their holiday. I would suggest perhaps these things are all done before you start the season. The sunbeds are broken and very uncomfortable and they lack cushions. For me you can tell a 5 star by its comfort around the pool and you don’t get that here. There is also an allowance to reserve sunbeds which is also something most 5 stars don’t allow. Hotels would escort you to a bed when you arrived and ensure you had all you need. They would also remove towels etc from beds if they are not used for more than 30 minutes which is fair in my opinion and perhaps something to consider here. The hallways are drab and need a good refresh including some improvement in the smell. Some pictures on the walls or fragrance would be very welcome additions. The cleaners are particularly noisy and you can hear banging and scraping on the ceiling above your room. We were woken a few times by cleaners at about 7.45/8am. Also, there was persistent banging of the aircon through the night, not sure if there is an issue with it. Sadly we won’t be back and will favour Tenerife every time.
Overall, this is a nice resort, especially for families, comfortable and clean rooms, the staff are genuinely friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help. However, considering the price, there are several significant drawbacks. The biggest issue is the family and children’s pool area. It is simply too small for the number of guests. Sunbeds have been squeezed onto every available patch of grass and even on the surrounding hillsides. Finding a sunbed with an umbrella becomes a daily challenge, as most loungers have no shade at all. For a resort of this size, the pool and surrounding relaxation area should be at least twice as large to comfortably accommodate guests. Although the beach is within walking distance, the resort has neither direct beach access nor sea views. Given the premium price, I would expect either a beachfront location or at least views of the ocean. The food is acceptable but doesn’t match the standard of a luxury resort. Many dishes, particularly the meat, were quite dry. Having stayed at resorts in Turkey and Greece, I found the quality, variety, and overall dining experience there to be noticeably better. On the positive side, the service is excellent. Every member of staff we encountered was kind, professional, and genuinely helpful, which made our stay much more enjoyable. Overall, it’s a good family resort, but in my opinion it doesn’t fully justify its premium price, mainly because of the overcrowded pool area, lack of beach views, and average food quality.
The view was incredible! Great location in Carvoeiro, walking distance to town and they had a tuk tuk to take you to Marinha beach.
The hotel is gorgeous but you’ll want to be in a room on floor 3-6 to get the best view .
Clean top notch . Excellent.
No robes in the rooms. Food at the Mare restaurant was sub par .
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Our stay at Tivoli was absolutely perfect! After a disappointing experience elsewhere, arriving at this hotel was such a relief. The location is outstanding—everything is within easy reach, making it the perfect base for exploring the area. The hotel itself is beautiful, impeccably maintained, and offers a truly relaxing atmosphere. The breakfast was another highlight of our stay. It was absolutely delicious, incredibly complete, and offered a wide variety of high-quality options. It was the perfect way to start each day. What made our stay even more special was the incredible staff. Every single person we interacted with was attentive, professional, and genuinely kind. They went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, and their hospitality made all the difference. From check-in to check-out, everything exceeded our expectations. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would gladly stay here again. Highly recommended to anyone looking for exceptional service, comfort, an outstanding breakfast, and a fantastic location!
Nothing!
Beautiful hotel! Rooms are magnificent. Ocean view is worth it. Must visit sky bar for sunset drinks. Skip one restaurant. Pricey and mediocre food. Breakfast is very nice in early morning. Mid morning is crowded.
We had high expectations for Tivoli Carvoeiro given its reputation and beautiful location. While the property itself is stunning, our overall experience was disappointing because the level of service did not match what we expect from a luxury hotel. At check-in, we were told that our assigned room was the only one available despite our American Express Platinum be. We accepted that and proceeded to our assigned room, only to discover that the Wi-Fi was unreliable and the air conditioning was not cooling the room properly. Although maintenance was sent, the issues were not resolved, and no proactive alternative was offered. Instead of enjoying our vacation, I had to spend part of it contacting American Express to help resolve problems that should have been handled by the hotel. Only after American Express intervened did an upgraded room suddenly become available, which made the initial explanation that no upgrades were available difficult to understand. To make matters worse, we later discovered what appeared to be mold or mildew in the shower. Even after it was cleaned, the staining remained, raising concerns about the condition of the room. The hotel’s location, views, and facilities are wonderful, and the staff we encountered were polite. However, luxury hospitality is measured not only by the property but by how guest concerns are handled. More proactive service, greater transparency, and better room quality control would have made a significant difference. I hope management takes this feedback constructively, as this is a property with tremendous potential to deliver a truly exceptional guest experience.
As the title of this review suggests, this is not a five star hotel. It is a tired four star at best. Whilst I see many positive reviews I also see many who agree with me. We chose Tivoli based on us staying in the companies new hotel in Tenerife- which is stunning. This one, I’m afraid, falls far short. Positives: Amazing location, fantastic views and a short walk to the nicer side of Carvoeiro with its array of good quality restaurants. Nice sky bar with amazing views. Improvers: Old, torn, uncomfortable loungers by the pool. No cushions on any of them (unlike the majority of 5 stars that I’ve stayed in) Decking round the pool rotting, half repaired and dangerous in places Inattentive / disinterested pool bar staff. Hotel corridors worn tired with a strong feature of 1970’s wood chip wall paper Breakfast - pretty mediocre for what is supposed to be a 5 star offering. The breakfast offering of the 5 star Tivoli in Tenerife is significantly superior. This is not a cheap hotel…..it needs to be far better for the money. Its location deserves more and my view is it needs closing for a FULL refurb. .
Absolutely LOVED my massage with Catia in the spa at Tivoli Carvoeiro. A truly relaxing and healing experience for the whole body and mind - wonderful 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
This was our third time staying at this hotel, which says a lot about how much we enjoy coming here. The kids’ club is one of the highlights and our children absolutely loved it again this year. A special mention has to go to Sayuvy in the kids’ club. She is absolutely fantastic with the children—so kind, patient and engaging. She made fabulous T-shirts with them and her face painting was amazing. Our kids looked forward to seeing her every day! The only disappointment this year was the lunch, which wasn’t to the same standard as on our previous visits. Hopefully that’s something the hotel can improve. Overall, we would still highly recommend this hotel, especially for families. The wonderful staff and excellent kids’ club make it a great place for a family holiday
This is our second time to visit this hotel. It is in a beautiful location. The staff are very friendly. The breakfast is good. Unfortunately we have been very disappointed with the standard of lunch meals in the pool restaurant. The price is high and the quality is poor.
Wonderful kids club. My daughter had dace painting with Sayuri and loved it!!
A great experience at the Tivoli. We have been coming here for over 25 years and it improves every time. There has been ongoing investment in the hotel and obvious care and consideration by owners and managers to make a great holiday. A highlight are the staff- they completely understand service, and a lot of them have been there for a while so they care about the hotel Check in is welcoming with helpful door men and plentiful staff who take time to explain the facilities You do need a sea view room to make the most of the location. I would say rooms are well equipped, well maintained and function as they should but they could do with a little more storage space- there is room. The main bar which is really for residents has great views, good service and an excellent range of drinks. The SkyBar (rooftop) is fun and a great place to go for pre-dinner drinks but unfortuately suffers from people popping in taking a photograph, blocking your view and then disappearing without buying a drink. Staff are great, cheerful and prompt with service The fine dining retaurant is outstanding and reasonably priced for what it is- top quality food on the terrace watching the sun go down is great The poolside retaurant hhas great food and service at reasonable prices and the service to the sunlounger for drinks is excellent Topping all of this off is the free TukTuk service down to the village or to the beach
We had a very pleasant stay at Tivoli Carvoeiro. The hotel itself is beautiful, with breathtaking views, spacious facilities, and common areas that were always clean, tidy, and well maintained. The location is excellent for exploring the Algarve. There are, however, a few areas that could be improved. The Wi-Fi coverage was unreliable, especially in the rooms, where we often had to rely on our mobile data. We also found that food service options were limited outside the main meal times, making it difficult to find something to eat during parts of the day. In addition, while the staff were always professional, we sometimes missed a warmer, more welcoming attitude. On several occasions we greeted staff members without receiving a greeting back, which made the service feel less friendly than expected from a hotel of this level. One of the absolute highlights of our stay was the Pluma Junior Club. A very special thank you to Sayury, who welcomed our daughter Kira with so much kindness, warmth, and genuine care. She made her feel comfortable from the very first moment and always found fun and engaging activities for her. It was clear that she truly enjoys working with children, and that made a big difference in our stay. We would also like to thank Angela, who looked after Kira with the same warmth and friendliness whenever Sayury was away. She was always attentive and caring, and we truly appreciated her dedication. The Junior Club was always spotless, well organized, and offered a great variety of games and activities. Thanks to Sayury, Angela, and the entire team, our daughter had an unforgettable holiday. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would happily recommend Tivoli Carvoeiro, especially to families traveling with children.

We went on our honeymoon and everything was amazing. The Staff was very friendly and welcoming. The food was Incredible and the view from or room and the pool was breath taking. Its not a cheap hotel but it delivers what you pay for. Definitly going back when we get the chance.
There was nothig we didnt like. If I had to mention one thing probably just the wifi connection from the room wasnt the best. But I wasnt there for the Wifi.
Beautiful views, comfortable room and bed, everything new and ultra clean, very friendly and helpful staff! The included breakfast was the best buffet breakfast I have ever experienced.
We loved the entire property. The staff was attentive and friendly. The property was pristine and had amazing views. It was so nice to be able to walk into town to do a little shopping or eat at the many local restaurants.
Nothing!
We stayed here for 5 nights in July 2026. We really enjoyed our stay, the views were fabulous and the staff were so friendly. The rooms were lovely with comfortable beds and modern bathrooms. Breakfast was excellent. Great rooftop bar. There is a short walk into the town or a tuk-tuk service from the hotel.
The location is excellent in terms of the dramatic setting - the sea view is fantastic. Other than that, it is a bit out of the main town for other activities and a bit of a trek to any beach. The breakfast choice is very good and we enjoyed eating on the open air terrace every morning. However, it became very busy and noisy with screaming babies at times and anti-social guests conducting business meetings at full volume. We got checked in early at no extra cost and our room was good - comfortable and with the same excellent sea view from our balcony. The Sky Bar is also a very nice setting. Service throughout is quite good and if you turn down room service for a day you get a couple of free drinks tokens. The pool was fine and there was reasonable food and drink service around the pool.
The hotel is a bit of a mixed bag and overall falls short of 5*. The decking area around the pool is scruffy and damaged in places with raised screw heads and splinters. On occasions there were insufficient sun beds and some of them were in a poor state of repair. As mentioned above, I thought the breakfast area was too busy at times to enjoy a relaxing start to the day. I would not say this was a hotel for families. Another disappointing issue for us was that when we checked out we were not offered an itemised bill of bar charges - we were told it would be emailed later. The amount charged sounded high and when we got the bill, it was clear that we had been overcharged by 191 Euros. On checking the date, it was for the night of the Spain v France game and we hadn't even visited the bar that night. To be fair, on contacting the hotel, they offered a full reimbursement of this charge, which I am waiting for now. Make sure you get an itemised bill and check it carefully before paying - we were on a 0645 checkout and had to get moving!
Clean, convenient location , fun pool, great breakfast.
A little “attitude” from staff.
Location and facilities
Our room. None sea view, ground floor, overlooking a car park.
If you have been to five star hotels, you’ll know as soon as you walk in that this is not a five star hotel. The hospitality is not up to par with what you pay for. Pool staff is disorganized, staff at the front is not welcoming as soon as you walk in. They wait until you get to the desk to greet you. The sushi bar fish isn’t fresh at all it sits in the sun all day.
We stayed eleven nights at the end of June. The views are very good and the massage I had was genuinely good. Most of the rest was not. Nobody offered us a welcome drink. Nobody rang to say the room was ready. Our bags were not in the room when we got there. At the bar and at the pool you had to go and find someone rather than being looked after. On at least two of our ten breakfasts we were never offered orange juice or coffee at all. There was construction going on while we were there. We were not told about it before we booked, at check in, or at any point after. The spa sauna and steam room are tiny and the whole area feels tired. No music, no scent, nothing. Our balcony seat broke during the stay. When I looked at it, it had already been repaired before with cable ties. The billing is the part I would want other guests to know about. Tips were added to bills we never authorised. The tip line next to the signature was blank and unsigned every single time. It came to 26.63 euro across 14 tickets and I had to chase it. They also charged us twice for a cocktail class. At checkout their system said my payment had failed when my phone showed it had gone through, and they asked to run it again. I said no. Three days after we flew home they charged the full 769.04 euro extras bill to my card a second time. The hotel confirmed it was a duplicate and said it was a system error. I got it back through a chargeback. To be fair to them, they apologised and did not fight the chargeback. But I found every one of these, not them, and every single one went in the hotel’s favour. Check your bills. Check your statement after you leave.
I’m only halfway through my stay here, but I’m so pleased I feel I can already give feedback on this hotel. Despite the initial quirks, once settled, this hotel is simply exceptional! The first impression was odd: - No doorman, and no clear indication where the entrance door is . The front is just a big glass and the actual entrance has the same handle as a fire exit door, so we half expected an alarm to go off when we got in. - The receptionist explains the restaurants but there’s no clear explanation what’s included in the Full/half board (Turns out, everything is included). - Not all staff appear to know what’s included in the full/half board with conflicting information provided. - Check-in start after 3pm. Therefore if you arrive in the morning, you’re in bad luck, the board only starts after check-in. Not a disaster as there’s plenty of options just 5mn from the hotel. However, it wasn’t clarified at the check-in so we went to the Grill just to be turned away. So here’s the tip: All restaurants are included in the boarding options. However, all requires booking except for the Grill by the swimming pool. The restaurants that require booking DEFINITELY are worth it! The One is simply exceptional and it is quite incredible it is included in the boarding. All other options are really good including the walk-in grill - I cannot recommend enough the fresh grilled fish, or surf and turf. It is by far the best food I have had from a hotel/resort. The breakfast is again the best in class! Delicious fresh fruits, omelettes (very well) made on order from the lovely & friendly Senegalese chef (Sorry I could not read his name badge) who cares to ask for the done level of eggs rather than overcook them. Which leads me to the staff - The ones at the reception are super friendly and THE ONLY ONES to trust for information. I would not try and stop a passing employees as we received contradicting information from them. Bruno from the Grill is soooo friendly, funny and always give us such a warm welcome, as well as very useful local tips. The swimming pool & area somehow looks on the smaller side compared to other resorts we have been, but it never felt crowded nor did we ever had difficulty finding seats. The view from the swimming pool is exceptional. The hotel also offers a free Tuk Tuk service which is quirky and fantastic. Uber is cheap so it’s easy to get around, but it’s definitely a plus. Past the initial quirks, this hotel is simply exceptional and way exceeded my expectations! Food & service are best in class which makes this resort a no-brainer in case we are looking to come back in the area.

Wyjątkowe miejsce, przemiła obsługa, czystość na najwyższym poziomie.
Hotel maravilhoso. Vista incrível, serviço impecável e super confortável. Tudo excelente!
The views and the location.
It’s not a 5 start property. 4 at best. The staff and service are 3. The staff while friendly and polite are disorganized and have no idea what’s going on. Breakfast is absolute chaos. The quality of food at breakfast is mediocre. The Sky Bar was very overpriced.
Fantatic view and service!! Happy hotel servers.
1. A little bit slow water drain in shower booth. 2. A little uncomfortable sofá bed.
Tivoli Hotel is a great hotel for adults and children. It has fantastic views of the ocean and surrounding area. The hotel staff were attentive and friendly with guests and yet also very professional and polite. The food in the hotel is outstanding and although pricey, value for money due to it being delicious, very well presented and overall good quality. Our room was large and airy and maintained daily. The bathroom was large with a walk in shower and all toiletries were provided, which meant that we could have saved money on not buying them and saved weight in our suitcases! 😁 We have been to this Hotel 5 times, it has always been a 5* hotel, this time around it felt more like a 6*. We definitely will go back at some point in the future.
The food prices.
We spent a couple of days in Carvoeiro before heading up North. The accommodation is perfect, very clean and a lovely turn down service. The kids club was great and casual. Maria in particular was great at minding our two girls. She was acutely aware of allergies which was a comfort for my youngest who has multiple allergies and carries epipens. Would highly recommend this place 👌
Excellent service throughout, and although the hotel isn’t new, you’d hardly notice — it’s very well kept. The breakfast buffet is wonderful, and if you come early you get a fantastic view with it. We arrived by car. Only gripe: wifi in room (on the first floor near the pool) was bad. Would happily return.
