Sauberes Zimmer, super Dusche und Bett.

Die Klimaanlage war sehr laut (kann die mal jemand reparieren?) außerdem hatten wir ein Zimmer über der Küche, sodass dauernd der Geruch von Pommes und Frittierten Essen in unserem Zimmer war. Auf Nachfrage bei der Rezeption hieß es, dass wir kein anderes Zimmer haben können, weil alle anderen schon ausgebucht sind, was offensichtlich aber nicht stimmen konnte, wie man am Frühstücksraum und am Parkplatz sehen konnte. Das Frühstück war nicht gut - in anderen Hotels derselben Kategorie und mit ähnlichem Preis haben wir da viel Besseres bekommen. Zudem war es sehr schmutzig an der Frühstücksbar.

A full English breakfast provided FREE within the room price is very good value. The staff were both friendly and efficient. We asked for a quiet room which was provided and car parking was both easy and free. The room is well laid out with comfortable beds, tea & coffee facilities, a well designed bathroom with a separate enclosed toilet, There is plenty of hanging space and a large television. In fact this hotel offers everything you need for a one or two night stay. We stayed here last year as we were visiting Northampton and considered it was a perfect place to overnight and so we returned this year as we shall no doubt do again.

We only stayed one night for a break in our journey and had our evening meal in the Harvester restaurant next door so can’t comment on the hotel evening meal but the hotel breakfast was good with plenty of choice..

It was a bit hard to find. A complex road system with insufficient signage. We were locked out of our room after breakfast and had to go back to reception for another card

Room our tv wasn’t working said check connections, cable wasn’t connected at the bottom, but was very dirty in that corner. Breakfast was ok except beans were cold one morning. Missed not having any fried eggs, apparently they don’t do them here ! Final day had breakfast and got back to our room and neither key card worked, so had to go back downstairs not good when your itching for the toilet. However apart from this the stay was good.

I loved the fact my dog was welcome and the staff were so welcoming and accommodating. Thank you so much for the dog welcome pack - such a lovely touch! The option to hear your own evening meals or order a takeaway in the reception area was really helpful too.

A more extensive lunch or evening meal menu would have been nice. More entertainment for children or dogs.

Very very overpriced menu for basic food. Also a bottle of oasis that is less than £2 in all shops, cost £3.80 at the hotel. Ridiculous prices. Also on our last night, the fire alarm repeatedly went off through the night. Resulting in myself and my child getting very little sleep. Then had to drive almost 4 hours home. Not happy in the slightest

What is there not to like about it. You get stains all over the carpet, shower doesn’t know if it wants to be hot or cold , you get Water leaking in large amounts down the wall and roof then having soaking carpets with paint stripping off the wall. Not to mention the fire alarm going off at 2am in the morning

We stayed at the hotel to save driving back to Cornwall and the fire alarm went off at 1.30am and again 4 or 5 times making it impossible to get back to sleep and our long drive the following day a nightmare

Well on my last had the fire alarm going off most of the early hours of the morning and had to leave at 4 in the morning for 3 hour journey home

I attended the MotoGP weekend at Silverstone and the hotel is perfect for access to the M1 and just 20 minutes drive to the circuit. I didn't spend very long in the hotel each day but the breakfast is a good start to the day, the staff are terrific and very attentive. The housekeeping is great. Everything is very clean. There's also lots of free parking which is great to for residents. It's a great base to stay for Silverstone.

The location was spot on for an onward journey to London. The hotel is fantastic. Walking in the lobby is spotless and had a clean smell. We were greeted with a smile by Millie. The corridors and room were as spotless as the lobby. The staff were all friendly and welcoming, and dressed smartly. The breakfast was of a good standard and was included in with the price of the room. I cannot fault anything about our stay and will certainly return when visiting the area

Evening menu was limited, and not very interesting. However, other restaurants were close by. Otherwise, everything was up to speed.

I asked to drop my luggage as arrived very early. The receptionist looked and found me a room I could occupy right away without charge

Stopped to break up journey - easy to book on line; friendly checkin staff & easy to book in. Pleasant environment in bar & prices reasonable. Rooms are very clean & large. Breakfast is included & catered for a range of food preferences. Scrambled eggs, sausage, beans and hash browns - no tomatoes or mushrooms but that’s ok. It’s included in the price so can’t complain. There is breakfast cereals, fruit & yogurt and pastries - so all in all wide range of options. I would break my journey up by staying here again as well positioned by motorway junction.

Nice traditional HIExpress in a great location for Northampton Town or onward travel. Quiet and peaceful with a relaxed atmosphere. Rooms very clean, spacious, with A/C that is on demand; (not a fan and a feeble excuse to save money, as some places these days), good-sized shower room with good pressure hot water. Breakfast is the usual HIExpress buffet; this one is certainly one of the best I've stayed at - well-cooked, fresh and well topped-up. All the staff were very pleasant & professional and made us & our little dog feel at home. A credit to IHG. Highly recommended!

I decided to have an evening meal in the hotel and then found that the menu was only available by scanning a QR code. When I asked if they had a printed menu, the answer was no. Some people do not have smart phones so what would they do?

Stayed at Holiday Inn Northampton South so we were close to the Silverstone Museum . Hotel really good value , relaxed feel , breakfast offered something for everyone’s taste in our family hot and cold food which we enjoyed , room basic but again everything we needed , clean and loved the complimentary Dove shampoo, body wash and handwash, would definitely use again if visiting the area.

We frequently stay at this hotel and we only had issues at this visit. The cleanliness is super and the staff are friendly and helpful most of the time.

We had dreamed about an air conditioned sleep for days before and yet the air conditioning unit in our room was defective. The receptionist said there was nothing that could be done as the maintenance man did not work weekends. For a 20/7 hotel that was a weak excuse.

Breakfast wasn't great, tastless. The room was nice and clean and very comfortable. more milk required for the hot drinks and maybe a biscuit or two. Be able to have book car for parking for extra day whilst away from hotel
