Vor dem Zimmer brummte die Lüftungsanlage des benachbarten Hotels. Der Teppichboden im Frühstücksraum hat schon zu viele Frühstücke erlebt und fördert den Appetit nicht

Dieses Hotel hat unsere Erwartungen übertroffen. Von aussen sieht es (Irisch typisch) unscheinbar aus. Sobald man das Haus betritt, wird man von einem sehr geschmackvoll eingerichteten Interieur überrascht. Hübsche Bilder, schöne Kunst, zum Verweilen einladende Sofas, kleine Bibliotheken usw. Das Essen ist hervorragend! Sowohl das Frühstück (excellente Gebäcke (pastries)) als auch das Mittags- oder Nachtessen. Der catch of the day war fantastisch. Das Personal ist ausserordentlich freundlich. Auch die Besitzerin hilft aktiv mit und das spürt man. Grosses Zimmer (wir hatten das Luxury Alder Room) mit grossem und hellem Badezimmer (allerdings kein Fenster im Badezimmer). Kostenloses parking.

The breakfast was fabulous! There was an amazing choice and the service professional and friendly. The hotel is very conveniently placed, just a very short walk, from the Convention Centre.

Anything disturbs my sleep so the noise from the main road outside was a problem.

Es ist eine sehr niedliche Unterkunft und sehr nett eingerichtet. Alles ist sehr gepflegt und sauber. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker. Allerdings wird man am Tisch bedient und muss somit etwas mehr Zeit einplanen. Die Lage ist perfekt um von dort aus zum Ring of Kerry oder Gap of Dunloe zu starten. Das Restaurant ist relativ teuer, aber es gibt genug Möglichkeiten zum Essen vor Ort die man zu Fuß oder in ca. 10 Minuten mit dem Auto erreichen kann. Genügend kostenlose Parkplätze sind vorhanden.

Central clean and comfortable

Rooms could have been a little bit warmer. Continental breakfast should have been a buffet. Tea and coffee on the room are in the closet and not visible. Without a pool or gym it’s on the more expensive side but overall it’s a lovely hotel, great staff, clean and comfortable

We were told at check-in breakfast could be taken to-go. The day before we left we asked if we could arrange for our breakfast to go, due to an early airport departure. We were told no as the kitchen wasn’t open when we were leaving (around 0700). As we brought our room cards down the next morning we saw some other folks were enjoying an early 7am breakfast…

Lovely boutique hotel very close to the INEC

The property was absolutely beautiful. The location couldn’t have been better. The rooms were well appointed. The views were spectacular. During our stay, we enjoyed a fabulous dinner in the Ivy lounge where we were celebrating our son‘s 20th birthday. The service was impeccable and we’re so kind to accommodate our dietary needs. The desserts were heavily. The staff was so helpful and kind. We felt so welcome!

The Location was perfect- just across the street from Killarney National Park where you can visit Muckross House, Muckross Abbey, the Turc waterfall and Ross castle. The downtown area is also close by. The Staff were exceptional especially Maura at Reception and John who served us at The Ivy. The breakfast staff was also wonderful. The rooms were very comfortable and clean, and they had all the essentials and more. The food was amazing also. We truly enjoyed our 3-night stay at the beautiful Victoria Hotel. The interiors throughout the hotel and the room were lovely. I have a bad back and the bed gave me no issues! The breakfast the next morning was also amazing. The staff were welcoming and helpful throughout the stay too.

Fantastic place to stay near the national park! Breakfast was excellent.

When i checked in i told the lady that i was paying in cash and she took my credit card with in seconds of me saying I wanted to pay in cash. She said she needed to validate my card and she put the payment through on my card.

The room was very comfortable and the breakfast option was a great value. I liked the location - close to town but not too close.

The internet was weak - look...it's 2026 - I can't tolerate spotty Wi-fi, it's almost inexcusable.

Wowwww what an absolutely fantastic experience! The staff here are just so gorgeous and kind. My 10 month old and I were here by ourselves from Australia and we’re travelling alone and the tram were just beautiful. So helpful, so kind. Maura, Paul and Norma in particular were beyond kind and went out of their way for me. The rooms were lovely, the location was ideal within a fantastic proximity of the national park and the ring of Kerry. Great value and a lovely experience.

This hotel has been refurbished to the highest quality. Bed is so comfortable

A high quality hotel,very conveniently located on the Muckross Road,convenient to Killarney town and most of the main attractions. Staff were all very friendly and helpful,and immaculately turned out at all times. Our room was very spacious,with lots of room for storage,with the bathroom also having lots of space,more than would be the case in most hotel rooms. Furnishings in the room were of a high quality,which was great when relaxation was required. Breakfast was cooked to order and was to a very high quality,complimented by a magnificent service staff. I would have no hesitation recommending this hotel to anyone.

Maura at the concierge desk was terrific. Great suggestions for our time in the area. Oh and, amazing name recall.

Interior beautiful- feels special

Beautiful property, right opposite the reserve - lovely rooms and breakfast. But all rooms are great due to configuration- but what makes this hotel stand out is that they really listen to any issues you may have . Suggest renting bikes right next door and doing muckross and the house and abbey by bike- wonderful day out ! You can walk into town and cab back - but parking was not an issue in town as many people said it would be The owner is very hands on and helpful. We did the lake cruise - not our favourite - better to be walking or biking in reserve

À l’accueil, Michelle nous a bien conseillés pour que nous puissions découvrir le Ring of Kerry malgré le retard que nous avions pris dans notre roadtrip irlandais.

We honestly couldn’t recommend The Victoria in Killarney highly enough. We stayed here for three nights with our family and friends for our small wedding, and from beginning to end, the whole experience was absolutely incredible. Maura was amazing from the very beginning. She helped us organise all of our bookings and made everything feel so easy, and throughout our stay she went completely above and beyond for us and every one of our guests. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble, and we felt so genuinely looked after. Sinead, the owner, was also there throughout our stay and was so kind and attentive. There was such a personal touch to everything, and every member of staff we met, from the waiting staff to reception and everyone in between, was brilliant. The hotel itself is gorgeous. Our rooms were beautiful, with lovely little goodies waiting for us when we arrived, which made everything feel even more special. The food was incredible too. I’m gluten-free and was so well catered for, with loads of options rather than feeling like I had to settle for one or two things, which I really appreciated. The whole experience felt so warm, relaxed and personal. Having such a small wedding meant that where we stayed and the people looking after us were a huge part of the weekend, and we genuinely couldn’t have chosen anywhere better. Thank you so much to Maura, Sinead and the entire team at The Victoria for making such an important few days in our lives so special. We’ll always have the happiest memories of our time there, and we absolutely cannot wait to come back. ❤️ If you’re considering staying here, book it. You will be incredibly well looked after.

Beautiful boutique hotel that provides top class service & food. Myself and my sister stayed for 3 nights while sight seeing around Killarney. The room while not huge was lovely and the bathroom was large, lovely soft towels provided. Fresh bottled water each day with fridge in the room and a safe. Breakfast is all table service and selection of food available is excellent, from lovely fresh breads etc to fresh fruit options and freshly cooked breakfast. We had dinner one of the nights and it was beautiful. Staff are all extremely helpful and friendly. While slightly outside of the town (approx 20 min walk) it is a lovely walk and busy with a lot of people walking in and out. Couldn't recommend highly enough.

L’hotel est en bord de route. Il s’agit de la route principale menant a la ring of kerry donc TRES bruyante nuit comme jour. Les chambres de luxe sont minuscules, pas aérées car la fenetre ne le permet pas ou tres peu (et du coup aspergees de produit desodorant). Rien pour poser ses affaires et bagages. Le building est sombre, vieillot et mal équipé. Pas de jardin, tout donne sur le parking. Nous avions reserve 3 nuits et nous avons annule les 2 autres nuits et sommes parties tres vite. La réceptionniste a été tres comprehensive ainsi que la manager et c’est a souligner car adorable. Le staff du restaurant était tout aussi charmant. C’est vraiment dommage que les chambres ne soient pas a la hauteur car encore une fois le personnel et management sont adorables.

Overall, we had a very pleasant stay at the hotel. We did have to change rooms because our first room was facing the car park and was quite noisy, but apart from that, we had no issues with the accommodation. The absolute highlight of our stay was Michelle at reception. She welcomed us with genuine Irish hospitality and was incredibly kind and helpful. She gave us lots of great advice and wonderful recommendations for places to visit and things to do in the area. Thanks to her tips, we had a fantastic time and were able to make the most of our stay. A huge thank you to Michelle for making our experience so special!

The room seemed clean, but there was a strange, unpleasant smell that, thinking back, may have been coming from the carpet. We stayed on the second floor, and it was also a little disturbing that we could hear quite a lot of noise from the floor above us.

El desayuno y el personal que sirve el desayuno. Las chicas fueron muy amables. El desayuno estaba buenísimo y servido con mucho gusto. Por esto mereció la pena.

Las habitaciones eran muy pequeñas. Nos alojaron en la planta de abajo y se escuchaba todo el ruido de la calle. También de la habitación contigua. La cena en el bar me sentó mal y acabé vomitando. Muy caro para lo que ofrece.

Excellent location away from the busy downtown, within walking to GlenEagle and the parks. Classic hotel with great pub and restaurant onsite. Lots of parking.

Die Lage an der Hauptstraße. Wenn man - wie wir - ein Hotel sucht, das quasi als Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen dient, ist es nicht die beste Wahl. Man schaut aktuell auch leider auf Campingplätze und Baustellen.

All in all, a good hotel. The location is fine, and there are plenty of parking spaces. The staff were friendly.

The room was decorated entirely in black or very dark colours. The beds were very uncomfortable. Breakfast was tasty but there wasn’t enough, and you had to make a point of asking for more. Overall, too expensive.

This is the way to run a hotel. I’ve been around the world many times and this hotel was as good if not better than almost every hotel I’ve stayed at. Every member of staff was polite and friendly. Breakfast was an excellent relaxed experience and even the butter was soft!. Dinner food and service was excellent. If hotel owners want to see how to improve their hotel service, come and see the Victoria. Well done to everyone

We loved The Victoria. The hotel is in the perfect location, right across the street from Killarney National Park and walkable to town. The atmosphere is great, nice and quiet and very clean. The breakfast was very good, plenty to choose from. The staff is wonderful, very friendly and accommodating. Would highly recommend staying here.

The Victoria is a gorgeous boutique hotel with a warm, welcoming staff. The hotel is beautifully decorated and well-appointed. The restaurant food and drinks are delicious. Moira, at the front desk and Stephan, wait staff, are so friendly! They make you feel like part of the family.

We had a lovely time at The Victoria. The rooms were comfortable, although somewhat small. We were in the front room overlooking the main road so there was some traffic noise but that was outweighed by the incredible views. The staff was excellent-friendly, helpful and efficient. The breakfast was really good, and they had several gluten free items to choose from. My husband enjoyed sitting at the bar relaxing. Dinner was excellent! Noel was a wonderful waiter, and helped make our fun night. We will definitely stay here again.
