The Brehon Hotel & Spa

The epitome of comfort and luxury, the hotel has a really relaxed feel about it and didn’t feel crowded at any time. A short (10 minute) drive into town meant it was easy to access the local bars and it was also very convenient for the ring of Kerry drive. The staff were all friendly and attentive and made a real effort to make you feel welcome.

Staff were very friendly, location was perfect distance from town centre and tourist attractions alike.

I had an issue wit room view but it eventually got sorted by a very professional staff

Rustige ligging, vlak bij nationaal park. Comfortabele kamers, uitstekende bedden. Erg goed ontbijt. Gezellige lounge met open haard. Lekker eten. Aanrader!

Das Hotel hat eine tolle Lage für Ausflüge in Killarney. Unser Zimmer war unglaublich geräumig, sehr sauber und gemütlich. Nach einem langen Tag im Regen haben wir den Spa Bereich sehr genossen. Das Frühstück war toll und auch das Personal wirklich zuvorkommend und freundlich.

Im Spa sind nicht sonderlich viele Liegen und es war teilweise laut, weil andere Gäste sehr laut gesprochen haben.

Bar menu selection was quite disappointing, not much choice and expensive, would probably leave the hotel for food the next time.

Quaint and stylish hotel. Loved the room and facilities. Breakfast was amazing - the porridge and flapjacks were delightful.

The room was big. The facilities and furniture were perfect even hair strainer was provided. The breakfast was good especially the black coffee. Good hot water for the shower. The national park entrance needs 10 minutes walk or more where you can reacMuckross House and Abbey. Killarney center about 20 minutes walk.

Room was wonderful, clean, spacious. Meals were hearty and tasty. Staff was superb!

The food was lovely, portions a little small and a bit expensive . Room was nice, comfortable bed and good facilities. I would have liked get a treatment in the spa, but that was my own fault for not booking it in time. Staff were very nice and friendly.

There wasn't a lot i didn't like. Can't complain about that.

A little outside the town

The room was spacious and clean. The food in the hotel bar was very good.

Our bedroom was very spacious, nice view from our window. Lovely spa, which is a nice treat especially if the weather is bad.

One evening we decided to eat at the restaurant, the food was pre cooked and we hardly ate anything. Expensive.

The cooler had what looks like mold, didn't put anything in there. Wait staff on first day cancelled our order accidentally and just seemed slow and inattentive.

The whole hotel was a nice experience.

Not a lot of options on the dinner menu for my wife who is allergic to eggs and seafood. But that's the same in most hotels we stay in. We did have to go to town for dinner. We wanted to try the dinner in the hotel but we did get the breakfast which we enjoyed.

It was just a fabulous place calm relaxing, staff very friendly and efficient, not my first stay and won't be my last .

The Brehon was absolutely beautiful, we are Irish but have lived in Australia for many years and this hotel is one of the nicest hotels we have ever stayed in. Everything from check in until check out was perfect, the staff were professional, friendly and helpful.

Bathrooms were outdated with broken mirrors. Ended modernising. Tea mugs and spoons were left uncleaned from previous stay. No amenities provided in bathroom considering it was 4 star.

I liked the location very good place, good view. staff from reception very kind. The room very large, toilet good size as well.

The tables at the bar and restaurante very old, need an updated urgently, the chairs and sofa very old. I had impression to be in a 3 star hotel but bigger. No information was given about the facilities what the hotel offer. Many other clients was complaint about something.

Beautiful exceptionally clean room, very tastefully decorated, very comfortable beds. The hotel itself is a beautiful building, very stylish, inside and out. The SPA is great too, one of the better ones in Ireland. Everywhere in the hotel smells nice, and finishes are of very high quality. The location and proximity to Gleneagle is unbeatable.

The breakfast was a write-off, they ran out of most things by 9:30. Ordered scrambled eggs with smoked salmon on a bagel, it was horrible. Disappointed, would rather have breakfast elsewhere next time. Staff felt overwhelmed, but accommodating. We had to wait too long for our dinner, and they took the drinks off our bill as an apology.
