Area was great, close to everything. Great food. Comfy beds.

Lots of stairs to get to your room. Only a bathtub in the room and you had to go through the bathroom to get to the bedroom. Slightly difficult when staying with a large group.

Cleanliness and location were up to scratch.

On one of the hottest days of the year, the only way to seemingly ventilate my room was to switch on a noisy box that was attached to the window. Worse - this machine would turn itself on and off, when it felt as though the room was or wasn't adequately ventilated. This meant I was constantly being woken up throughout the night by the machine turning itself back on - and I'm not a particularly light sleeper. Absolute disaster. The next morning, staff apologised for a different fault in the room (they didn't ask me how my stay was - if they had, I would've told them about the above), and offered me a free breakfast as an apology. I just about had time, so I accepted. I waited ages for the food, before enquiring where it was - turns out the order hadn't gone through to the kitchen. They apologised and made the order immediately. I was very late for my morning appointment.

Convenient location within city centre which was super handy. The rooms were a bit dated but we were upgraded to a nicer suite when checking in which was very appreciated. The rooms had most things we needed and staff were extremely friendly.

No fridge in the rooms, decor could use some updating but honestly not the end of the world.

Overall this is perfectly placed for the centre and of the town - very lively area, easy access to places to eat and bars. Hotel was OK and breakfast was great.

Room was not what we expect for the price - there was limited headroom for half of the room, the outside of the window was very dirty (see photo), the towels were small and although the website said 'no lift', we didn't expect to go up five flights of stairs, that got narrower the higher you went' to get to the room (we were on the top floor).

Property was in a great location. Desk was staffed 24 hours. Staff and housekeeping friendly.

Hotel was quite basic. The big shared apartment we had booked had very odd layout with tiny half door to the jack and Jill bathroom, locks did not work and no loo roll on arrival! Sofa beds were super uncomfortable and pillows had stains on them. We were told needed passport to check in which seems very antiquated but we were only told on the morning of check in and we had already departed, in addition a £100 deposit in cash only was required. Both these things seemed unnecessary and made our trip more complicated than needed.

Lovely location, staff were polite. Room was clean and comfortable. Good value for money.

Had to leave key at reception when went out - not a problem. Upon returning it was a different member of staff and they never asked any kind of security question before handing over the key. Might just be me, but I felt that there should be better security practices in place.

Room given didn't allow much light so was quite a dark room. Solely for 1 night and solo stay. The room reflected this. Dated decor. Average nights sleep, the bed was not comfortable.

Breakfast was really good and the service staff were very friendly and polite. It was very good given my expectations of the location as the hotel was very quiet and we all had a peaceful nights sleep.

many reviews often mentioned that the property is old and creaky. I must say that if you lower your expectations based on what you paid for + knowing the old history of the place, you do get your money’s worth—property was clean, staff were friendly, breakfast was good.

ther was some outside noise during quiet hours (seems to me it came from the bar downstairs). however, the hotel's entrance was difficult to locate and the wifi was weak from the room. would also be nice to have mini fridges in the rooms. the blinds in the toilet/room was not in the best conditions (could not fully be shut)

Everything was very bad not good for family

The staff were really nice. Everyone including the cleaners and attendants were polite and friendly. The location was ideal. It was a minute away from the train station and was very central.

There were no lifts at the hotel. I only found this out when I had completed the booking. There was nothing on Booking.com to state this. By the time I booked, I was not able to cancel. No fault of the hotel, more Booking.com The room was not that clean. There was dust and litter on the carpet and the carpet was quite stained. The bath towels were very small. It took quite some time for hot water to start in the shower. There was a note in the room stating this but I would have liked to have known at the time of booking. Lastly, the shower was tiny. One wrong move and there would have been an accident.

Bathroom door wouldn’t close as it was broken and receptionist told us they were full so nothing could be done until we spoke to the assistant manager who moved us to a new room which wasn’t broken in any way but was in need of a lot of decorating

Great location, friendly staff and really good value for money.

The only negative was the loud banging noises at 7am on a bank holiday Monday! But I highly doubt the hotel could do anything about that.

Located near to Victoria station, shops and pubs. Reasonable sized room. Tea and coffee provided.

The bed was a standard double so felt small, it was also very soft so not very comfortable, the pillow was also lumpy. No hairdryer in room, you have to collect one from reception.

Hotel byl krásný, čistý jídlo bylo výborné a i nabídky byly zajímavé, dokonce nabízeli i bezlepkové jídlo, což bylo důležité. Lokalita byla blízko k centru.

Bohužel nefungovala teplá voda. Voda tekla pomalu a na teplou vodu se čekalo strašně dlouho. Jakmile jsme však personálu tuto skutečnost sdělili, snažili se vše vyřešit.

Perfect location and room upgrade. Executive room was quite big.

Ideally we'd like to have a hairdryer in the room. The sound proof in the room wasn't perfect but wasn't bad.

Bedroom was comfortable. The bar was great .

It's location almost right at the centre of the city means that your not too far from anywhere in such a huge city. It's location on top of a pub also means that if your wanting to drink and eat then go out to the city you only have to go downstairs. The reception staff are friendly and even the small rooms include fairly sized beds, a stand with clothing hangars at the top, available plugs, clean floor, walls and roof as well as a small bathroom with a shower and towels included.

The options for entertainment are limited as the TV only comes with certain channels, has no WiFi capability and doesn't take well to HDMI. Plus the fact that the TV is fairly high up so connecting any sort of media device even if the HDMI input was the correct size the cable may not be long enough in most cases.

The location isn't bad

Admittedly, it was my fault that I didn't realise the room was shared bathroom (didn't even know that still happened). However, I thought it wouldn't be the end of the world. The room and building was in a generally poor state and nothing felt clean. We'd arrived very late, so we stayed an uncomfortable first night. In the morning, I noticed the blood stains on the slanted ceiling over the basin in the room and I found a bed bug, so we left straight away.

Room itself- we stayed in room 3 and was far too basic/dated and not clean The double mattress was horrible no support and felt like had failed in spots...The wardrobe almost fell on me as was missing a leg part- there was no bedside tables or locations to plu in and leave phone/devices to charge we have to plug in and leave in the floor The carpet was dated and not clean - bathroom was no better as shower had no presure and again floor unclean

Staff were friendly and helpful, the view was good from our room and it was in a good location.

Room was a lot smaller than pictures showed. The door to our bathroom also didn’t fully close, meaning my partner and I had to pop out if the other needed some privacy as the toilet was practically right next to the bed. Not ideal for a nice weekend away together. The toilet, shower and sink also made a very loud hum after any water passed through it - this meant we didn’t get a great sleep. No air con, a small fan was provided but only one outlet in the room and no space to put it anywhere as the only bedside table was home to the kettle/coffee provisions.

The shower was too hot, I could not control it as it was centrally controlled.

A bit noisy with city centre location and barriers outside which sounded a loud alarm every time they went up and down.

The staff was very helpful and brought name water and ice up to my room when I needed it which was nice. I.stuggled with the stairs on the 2nd floor and there was no lift in the building I also had my dinner and brought up the staff who did their job. The bed was comfy though I should have had a double really.i kept sliding off the hotel was close to AO arena to which I seen my beautiful Johnny Depp. So it was handy short walk to it. For the price it was ok

The room I was put in originally was dirty everywhere apart from the bed. It had a bath in the bathroom shower over it. Toilet to flush was loose.I cannot get in and out of the bathroom.the glass was like a whisky glass and very.small cup. I went to staff and they swapped rooms that had a walk in shower only however it had high step and had no railings to hold on too. I didn't get to have a shower The water wasn't working properly. The staff gave me a bigger mug and pint glass this time

El personal poco profesional (llegamos antes de poder acceder a la habitación y la persona que nos atendió, nos hizo el check_in. Cuando llegamos por la noche, la otra persona que nos atendió nos dijo que no estaba hecho el check_in, lo hizo ella y nos mandó a una habitación que cuando entramos, estaba ocupada por otras personas (menos mal que no estaban). Resuelto el error, nos dijo que nos hanían cargado el cobro y al día siguiente, la otra persona que nos atendió, nos dijo que no, que no lo habìan cargado. La limpieza no era muy buena: pelos en la cama, las cucharas y las tazas del café de cortesía, estaban sucios. La moqueta, llena de manchas... no nos gustó nada

La posizione dell'albergo è centralissima ed è sicuramente il suo punto di forza , portineria h24 che riesce a rispondere a qualsiasi attività.

Il solaio della camera la n.14 era in pendenza , nel senso che se appogiavo qualcosa di rotondo iniziava a rotolare, non sò se in UK è consentito, anche solo per ragioni di tipo storico visto che la struttura era inserita all'interno di edifici non moderni nel pieno del centro cittadino.

The location is very good and accessible. Right across the schooling centre and lots of restaurants. I liked that they provided a room with 3 beds which met our needs. Also it seems that they took onboard all the feedback and fitted electric showers. I didn’t have to worry for cold showers. For a very affordable hotel, my visit was pleasant with all the staff being very approachable. I didn’t have noise problems, other than glass recycling at 5 am! But that was minor.

The hotel itself was good for us. Only being picky, the pillows could be a lot better and the breakfast option was like a set menu with very small portions. A buffet would’ve been fantastic, but the options given were broad and it was delicious. Better coffee would be much appreciated it as it was sachets of instant coffee.

Bruits de l'extérieur, pas d'ascenseur, toilette à l'extérieur de la chambre pas propre malgré les efforts des nettoyeuses. J'ai oublié mon gel de douche dans la douche-toilette externe, il a été vite utilisé par le guest qui a pris douche après moi et pourtant il y a le gel de douche de l'hôtel là. Pour deux nuits, ma réservation indique le check-out à 11h, mais à 10h un personnel de l'hôtel est venu frapper sur la porte de ma chambre pour me demander de libérer la chambre. Je ne recommande pas ça quand on veut passer un bon séjour à Manchester

It location was good apart from no parking

No hot water for a shower all though it said it was an old building and to give it time to come through I pressed the shower button ten times and still no hot water. Although it was clean there where a lot of signs of it looking tired. Some staff were very helpful and others that I think they would rather not be working. To park your car you have to use a private car park that cost £26 for overnight parking. Wouldn't stay there again

Stayed at Mitre Hotell for 3 nights have to say it had all wee needed very central to trams and so on will definitely be back to fill my loyalty card thanks to all

Price very Expensive for 1 night. Dirty bathroom floor, full of white dust. Carpets dirty and torn. Bedroom furniture falling apart. Dressing table stool unsafe. Not enough pillows. If you wanted a nicer coffee with your Breakfast, you had to pay extra. If you like Wetherspoons, it right up your street.

The pictures on the site are deceiving. The bathroom was ridiculous. A foldable door not even a full size one. We had to manouver ourselves to sit on the toilet around the sink. You knocked yourself on the shower door while getting off the toilet, and the shower took forever to drain. The size of the bathroom was smaller than an average wardrobe! It wasn't fkt for booking out. The bed was lobsided obviously broken

Kui teistel korrustel lasti wc-s vett alla, siis heli oli nii tugev, nagu oleks seda samas toas tehtud. Vaipkate oli määrdunud. Positiivset võiks öelda ka. Voodipesu ja rätikud olid puhtad, toas oli triiklaud ja triikraud. Olid nagid ja riidepuud, kuid puudus kapp. Oli veekeetja ja tee ning lahustuva kohvi valik. Üldiselt oleks selle hinna kohta olnud ok, kui torude ummistus tegi olukorra ebameeldivaks. Kutsusime ka administraatori, kuid ta ütles, et sellega pole kahjuks võimalik midagi ette võtta.

Manchester Mitre Hotel, as we were extremely disappointed with several aspects of our experience. Firstly, on our first morning, my husband found a hair — complete with the follicle — in his breakfast. We chose not to raise it at the time as it was very busy and we did not wish to cause a scene, but this was completely unacceptable and fell far below the hygiene standards we expect. Secondly, while we were told we had received a room upgrade at check-in, it felt as though we had instead been placed in an inconvenient corner room, which was disappointing. Thirdly, despite us placing the housekeeping sign on the door, our room was not cleaned at all on Tuesday — no fresh towels were provided, and we had no tea or coffee supplies or milk replenished, even though we were out all day. Finally, we experienced very poor service in the restaurant. When we ordered £50 worth of food, the member of staff serving us was extremely rude and had a thoroughly unprofessional attitude — it was truly disgusting behaviour. Unfortunately, I did not catch her name. We were very much looking forward to our stay, but these issues have left us thoroughly disappointed. We hope you will investigate these matters and respond with how you intend to make amends.

Lo mejor es la ubicación cerca de la estación de tren y en sona emblemática de Manchester.

La accesibilidad con maletas es muy incomoda al tratarse de varios edificios unidos con alturas de forjados muy diferentes.

I have been thoroughly delighted by previous stays. •TV wasn't working due to the ariel having been ripped out. • No hot water to sink or bath even after running for a long time, as advised on notice in bathroom. • Wash basin plug faulty, so couldn't hold water.
