Slightly out of the way but a fairly easy walk into town (or a couple of minutes on a rented electric scooter)

The staff were kind and helpful. The breakfast staff were very slow.

It’s old, appears old and dingy, the ac is weak, carpeted floors are so unappealing especially in a hot climate.

The two individuals that worked the front desk at the Liberty Hotel were very friendly and their service was first rate. They were quick to help and answers any of our questions.

The staff person working in the breakfast area disappeared at times. When we saw her, she was very friendly and helpful. It is a bit of a walk up the hill from town. But it was manageable - especially with the heat.

Very central, lovely hotel with antique nice furnitures and romantic interior decoration. The personell gave us detailed recommendations and information about the fascilities in town and helped with organizing daytrips to other towns as well. Very happy with our stay!

A very nice, cosy, sophisticated, little hotel. Located less than 10 minutes (downhill) walk to the centre of Catania and 15 minutes walk from the two main squares. The staff were very friendly and professional, our room was cleaned daily and the breakfast was very nice. I totally recommend this hotel!

- Breakfast was very good, enough variety and quality food - The staff was very kind, they even served us coffee even it was very late night, after our check in. - The room was furnished with old but nice and classical furniture, and we had a tiny balcony.

- The neighborhood was a little scary at first. But its walking distance to the center. And inside the hotel, everything was fine.

What a lovely hotel, great location and superb staff! We arrived mid-morning and were greeted by Silvio at the front desk - he was amazing!! He got us into our room early and then proceeded to draw on a map the places we should visit on a walking tour; we did and it was fabulous!! Hotel is in a GREAT location and easy 10 minutes from many interesting things to see including Greek and Roman ruins, old churches and the market. The hotel is superb - our room was very spacious and on the first floor, which made the next morning's early departure much easier. The staff arranged a 3:50am transfer to the airport and the driver was right on time (early flight - drive only 10 minutes to airport). We would definitely stay here again.

Wir bekamen ein Zimmerupgrade auf eine Suite, die wirklich wunderwunderschön ist! Das Personal ist superfreundlich! Wir waren sehr zufrieden.

Ganz ehrlich - der Kaffee schmeckt für italienische Verhältnisse und auch angesichts dass es doch ein 4**** Hotel ist nicht sooo gut; es wäre super, wenn man draußen in der wunderschönen Laube frühstücken könnte

Jättebra och fint boende med väldigt välkomnande personal. Läget på en sidogata utan störande trafik var perfekt. Inte den snyggaste omgivningen men hotellet ligger nära stadskärnan med sevärdheter och bussar

Ich kann gar nicht alles aufzählen was uns gut gefallen hat: Das überaus hilfreiche Personal, das nette Zimmer, das hervorragende Frühstück, die sichere Unterbringung unseres Autos, die Tips für Catania….

Die Straßen rund um das Hotel sind für unsere Verhältnisse nicht sehr schön, allerdings ist man mit wenigen Schritten an allen wichtigen Orten der Innenstadt.

Sehr, sehr nettes Personal. Wir wurden richtig verwöhnt und haben viele Information über Besichtigungsmöglichkeiten und tolle Restaurant-Tipps bekommen. Das Frühstück ist vielfältig und sehr gut. Es gibt frisches Obst sowie eine große Auswahl an süßen, pikanten und auch warmen Speisen. Die Zimmer sind gemütlich und sauber.

Frühstück ist hier sehr gut, auch Früchte angeboten Hotel ist zentral gelegen, zu Fuß alles sehr gut erreichbar. Hotelpersonal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Gute Tipps erhalten, z.B wo Essen, genaue Angaben zu den Öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln erhalten usw.

This hotel is an absolute please to stay in. Beautiful art deco decor, stunning glass and decorations. Beautiful bathroom with mirrors and gorgeous tiles. The staff go above and beyond to give assistance. Highly recommend.

部屋のデザインが本当に素敵でした。いわゆる「リバティ様式（イタリア版アール・ヌーヴォー）」を基調にしたクラシックで可愛らしい雰囲気で、華やかな壁紙やファブリック、アンティーク調の家具や照明が統一されていて、まるで昔のヨーロッパの邸宅に泊まっているような気分になれました。建物自体も20世紀初頭のリバティ様式のヴィラを改装したもので、細部までこだわりが感じられます。 スタッフは本当に最高でした。観光やレストラン、移動方法などをとても親切に教えてくれて、説明もわかりやすく、滞在中かなり助けられました。おすすめ情報も実際に役立つものばかりで、おかげでカターニアをより楽しめました。スタッフのホスピタリティの高さは、このホテルの大きな魅力だと思います。

残念だったのは朝食です。部屋やサービスの満足度がとても高かっただけに、朝食は期待を下回りました。ここが改善されれば間違いなく「100％おすすめ」と言えるホテルだと思います。

Hotel is lovely and Marco and Valentina could not have been more helpful and the hotel interiors are lovely.

Only comment I would make is Room 108 on the ground floor is lovely but has no natural light with double doors opening onto a small area for smoking directly adjacent to a building next door. Also an airconditioning unit outside the bathroom doors. Lighting is either bright overhead or lovely table lamps. Having said that, I recommend this beautiful restored boutique art nouveau boutique hotel.

We had a ground floor inward facing room which had no natural light and just looked at a wall . Immaculately furnished but missed the light and a view .

Beautiful rooms, excellent service, great location.

The location was good in that it was a short walk to many sights and old town centre. I appreciated all the great toiletries provided! The bathroom was spacious! A bidet is a great extra. Daily water supply is super. Gowns and slippers provided. Helpful front of house.

No porter to help with luggage. The liberty is a grand old lady and needs a refurb. It has a tired but comfortable look.
