Snídaně byla dostačující, i když ve 4* hotelu bych si představovala bohatší, ale bylo tam vše od vajíček, přes lívance, moučník, jogurty po ovoce a zeleninu. Káva byla nepitelná, nescafé z automatu. Skvělý byl bazén, ve kterém odpoledne téměř nikdo nebyl, otevřený až do 22 h s lehátky a bazénovými osuškami zdarma. Vířivka opravdu teplá. Voucher na welcome drink do baru pro všechny. V městečku byla malá pláž s městským bazénem, půjčovna lodí a paddleboardů, dva malé supermarkety, stánek s rychlým občerstvením u pláže a 2 restaurace na náměstí. Poklidná atmosféra bez davů. Pokoj s výhledem na moře a malý přístav byl skvělý. Parkování budˇ přímo před hotelem nebo na přístavním parkovišti zdarma. Ideální místo k poznávaná východní části ostrova.

Káva k snídani byla hrozná. V koupelně byl jen sprchový gel, chyběl šampon, který bych od 4* očekávala.

Die Lage des Hotels war sehr schön, nahe am Meer mit Strand. Auch der eigene Pool und Jacuzzi waren sehr angenehm. Wir wurden freundlich bedient vom Personal und vorallem vom Barkeeper.

Die Zimmer könnten bisschen mehr Ausstattung vertragen (Tresor konnte nicht gebraucht werden, begrenzter Platz für Kleidung, Minibar ohne Getränke.)

Ein sehr schönes Hotel, zentral gelegen (fünf Minuten zu Fuß ins Ortszentrum) und doch sehr ruhig. Das Frühstücksbuffet war super. Es gibt einen großen kostenlosen Parkplatz direkt am Meer (eine Minute zu Fuß entfernt), auf dem man fast immer einen Platz bekommt.

Soba ima balkon, prostrano je. Dobili smo piće dobrodošlice, ljubazno osoblje, nude ručnike za plažu i za bazen. Doručak raznovrsan i ukusan. Dobili smo na poklon višekratnu plastičnu bocu za vodu, vrlo lijepo!

Za barom radi jedna osoba te smo navečer čekali 20min da nas se posluži. U kupaoni nedostaje regenerator za kosu i mlijeko za tijelo. Vrlo jeftine plastične stolice i stol na balkonu. Za 4 zvjezdice očekujem više

das Hotel ist in die Jahre gekommen, es ist sehr laut, das Badezimmer ist alt mit Badewanne und Vorhang, der Fernseher ist mini klein und so schlecht eingestellt, dass man bei der Fußball WM nicht im Zimmer schauen konnte, daher etwas zu hochpreisig dafür

De ligging, het zwembad (ondanks de koude temperatuur) met jacuzzi en het goede ontbijt.

Hotel ruim van te voren geboekt, kort voor de reis had Booking.com reis geannuleerd wegens fout met creditcardgegevens zonder toelichting. Enige optie was om opnieuw te boeken. Echter was de prijs voor 4 nachten voor 4 personen toen verhoogd met meer dan 450 euro. Het hotel verwees hiervoor naar Booking.com en booking.com reageerde niet op mails. Daarnaast we verbleven op kamer met gedeeltelijk zeezicht (kamer 102). Deze ligt aan de weg waar al vroeg ook groter verkeer doorheen rijdt. De badkamer is aan vervanging toe. Alles werkt, maar je doucht in bad achter douchegordijn met douchekop die ontkalkt moet worden.

Die Lage direkt am Hafen war erstaunlich ruhig. Sehr gutes Frühstücksbuffet. Angenehm ist das in House Restaurant, wenn man mal nicht weit gehen will zum Essen. Der hoteleigene Pool hat zum Abkühlen eingeladen. Der grosse Balkon hat zum gemütlichen Verweilen eingeladen.

Zum Glück war es am Hafen erstaunlich ruhig. Wenn dann aber Lärm auf der Strasse war, dann kam dieser nahezu ungefiltert durch. Die einfachen Schiebetüren sind nicht wirklich dicht.

We enjoyed a very pleasant stay at this lovely hotel. The location overlooking the harbour was delightful, convenient for the little village, and good for sightseeing in the east of Sao Miguel. The staff were all friendly, welcoming, polite and helpful. Breakfast was great, drinks in the bar reasonably priced and the snack we had in the bar was superb value for money. WiFi was excellent and the water dispenser in reception was useful. Our room was a good size and storage was satisfactory. It was kept immaculately clean during our 3 night stay, however the beds were not the most comfortable and the bathroom was definitely in need of updating. The public areas were beautiful and we loved the stunning circular foyer and curving marble staircases up to the high glass 360 look-out!! Our only criticism of this lovely architecture was the issue with noise. Without soft furnishings the tiniest of noises in one area echoed around the entire hotel onto every landing and floor which, at times, we found quite disturbing. We would definitely recommend this hotel.

Leider können wir dieses Hotel nicht empfehlen. Unserer Meinung nach entspricht es keinesfalls einem 4-Sterne-Standard. Die Probleme begannen bereits beim Frühstück: Dieses wird erst ab 7:30 Uhr angeboten, sodass wir bei gebuchten Vormittagsaktivitäten kein Frühstück einnehmen konnten. Zudem waren gegen 9 Uhr viele Speisen bereits leer und wurden nur teilweise oder gar nicht mehr nachgefüllt. Auch die Zimmer konnten uns nicht überzeugen. Sie sind extrem hellhörig – Gespräche aus den Nachbarzimmern, Geräusche vom Flur und selbst Toilettenspülungen sind deutlich zu hören. Erholung war dadurch kaum möglich. Der beworbene „teilweise Meerblick“ erwies sich ebenfalls als irreführend: Das Meer ist nur sichtbar, wenn man sich in die äußerste Ecke des Balkons setzt. Stattdessen blickt man auf die Straße und hört dauerhaft den lauten Verkehr. Es fuhr ein Touristenbus nach dem anderen an unserem Balkon vorbei, sodass man in den Abgasen saß und sich für den Moment dann auch nicht mehr unterhalten konnte. Besonders enttäuschend war das Housekeeping. Das Badezimmer wurde während unseres Aufenthalts nicht gereinigt, und die Bettwäsche wurde nicht frisch gewechselt, sondern lediglich mit einem Frischespray eingesprüht (wir saßen auf dem Balkon und konnten das sehen). Zudem erfolgte die Zimmerreinigung erst am Nachmittag, obwohl wir bereits seit 6 Uhr morgens das Schild aufgehängt hatten. Auch der Service an der Rezeption wirkte wenig professionell. Die Mitarbeitenden waren häufig mit ihren Handys beschäftigt, nahmen Gäste kaum wahr und grüßten nur widerwillig zurück. Darüber hinaus verfügt das 4 Sterne Hotel über kein richtiges Restaurant, sondern lediglich über eine Bar, in der unter anderem Tiefkühlpizza angeboten wird. Insgesamt war unser Aufenthalt leider weder angenehm noch erholsam.

Gute Lage direkt am Hafen. Der Hafenparkplatz ist sehr nahe am Hotel und Kostenfrei zu nutzen. Jetzt im Mai hatten wir genügend freie Parkplätze zur Auswahl.

Das Bad in unserem Zimmer mit Meerblich war für ein ****-Hotel nicht mehr Zeitgemäß ( Duschvorhang an Badewanne). Der Zimmerservice kam erst um 16:45 Uhr als wir von unserer Wanderung schon wieder im Zimmer uns erfrischen wollten. Das Frühstücksbuffet war dürftig und die Marmalade im Spender leer. Mehrere Gäste, darunter auch wir mussten uns daher Umentscheiden. Auch das Personal im Frühstücksraum machte einen lustlosen Eindruck und glänzte mit längerer Abwesenheit. Auf die Reklamation hin bezüglich der Marmelade wurde der Spender geöffnet, die Marmeladenflasche geschüttelt und wieder eingesetzt. Reichte gerade mal für 2 x drücken. Im Vergleich zu unseren anderen 2 Hotels ( ***** und ****) war es mit grossem Abstand das schlechteste welches wir hatten.

Breakdast is a littlr chaotic. Food has not been supplied on a regular basis and between 08.45 am and 10.00 am tvere was no more tea, no more croissants and no more pastries....Frustrating! The pool is not heated so the water temperature (17 degrees) did not allow by the start of May to use.

The ocean view from the balcony is beautiful. The staff is very welcoming, friendly and very helpful when looking for advice regarding activities and places to visit.

המיקום של המלון רחוק משאר העיר, וכדי להגיע אליו צריך לרדת את כל ההר. יש מספר מסעדות באזור המלון, אבל אם יש הגבלות תזונתיות כלשהן (לדוגמא צמחונות) אז יש קושי למצוא אוכל. מעבר לכך, העיירה שבא נמצא המלון די שקטה ועזובה, אז אם רוצים חיי לילה ולצאת לשתות בירה באיזה פאב מגניב- זה פחות מתאים

Niveau sanitaires, douche.. la moitié des trous du pommeau de douche sont bouchés (calcaire ?) et il vault mieux avoir son propre produit de douche car, celui mis à disposition de l'hôtel est inutilisable...

Stayed for two nights, this hotel is located overlooking the harbour in the quiet village of Povoação, making it a good base for exploring the east of Sao Miguel Island. Although the hotel doesn’t have dedicated parking there were always plenty of free spaces available at the nearby harbour carpark. Check-in was quick and efficient and the room a good size, clean and nicely decorated with an excellent view out to sea. Comfortable bed, good Wi-Fi and aircon, okay shower. No restaurant, but the slightly quirky bar area served a selection of tasty food (pizza, pasta, burgers etc), as well as both Azorean and Portuguese beers, otherwise several local restaurants are in the village. Breakfast was included; the selection was limited but was ok. The hotel has a pool, but I didn’t get a chance to check it out during my stay.

Photos de l'hôtel doivent être de l'ouverture car un peu défraîchi. Alèse de plastique sous le drap. Pas d'air climatisé dans la chambre mais dans l'hôtel oui. Coffret sécurité +/- fonctionnel et non inclus. Pas de bouteille d'eau dans la chambre. Pour le ménage de la chambre, il ne ramasse pas la vaisselle utilisée et ne remplace pas . Nous avons séjourné une nuit dans cet hôtel avec mon conjoint et avons beaucoup apprécié notre expérience. La chambre était belle, très propre, et offrait une vue impressionnante sur la marina. L’accès au bar et à la piscine a été grandement apprécié — un service plutôt rare aux Açores. La petite ville de Povoação a également beaucoup de charme : piscine publique, plage, casse-croûte et marina sont regroupés côte à côte, juste devant l’hôtel. Pour les enfants, un parc avec modules de jeux et mini-putt est aussi juste a côté de la piscine publique. Il n’y a pas une grande variété de restaurants dans le coin, mais nous avons très bien mangé en suivant les recommandations avisées de la réception. Le lendemain, il a été un peu difficile de trouver un taxi pour notre retour vers Ponta Delgada, mais heureusement, le personnel de l’hôtel a été très aidant et efficace.

If you are looking for a perfect combination of a hotel & small town this is it. It has a nice pool and jacuzzi, closest view at a sea you can imagine and small gym. Also the fact there is a nearby beaches (small) close to the hotel is not so common. Design of the room was uplifting and matching atmosphere of a sea. Definitely rent a room with sea view -> side of hotel with few rooms is facing a police station.
