Superbe expérience à la Quinta ! Les hôtes sont extrêmement sympa et arrangeants. Le petit déjeuner maison est excellent avec une superbe vue (produits frais / du jardin). Tout est très propre, les animaux apportent une belle ambiance. On se sent comme à la maison. L'emplacement permet de bien visiter l'Est de l’île ainsi que Furnas.

The hosts were kind and sincere. The property was peaceful and clean. The breakfast was homemade . The view of the green hills and ocean in the distance was very nice. It is a place if you want to be calm and enjoy the countryside.,

Für Koffer und Kleider war der Platz im Zimmer etwas knapp.

The quinta is nice and well renovated. The room and the bathroom are clean, modern and big. The outside facilities look great, but due to the weather we couldn't cherish them. The staff is very, very friendly and helpful. Also the dog Laika and the cat Pluto are amazing, they love cuddling! The breakfast were very tasty with a good selection of breads, veggies, fruits, cheeses, charcuterie and jams.

The room we chose had a bathroom shared with one other room. However, we noticed that guests from other en-suite rooms were also using it. I assume they had not been informed that this bathroom was not a common bathroom for all guests. The room itself was spacious, but it was far too crowded with decorative items, to the point that there was almost no space to put our belongings on the shelves. It felt a bit like staying in a museum. We also missed having a proper wardrobe for our clothes. There were small cabinets and a small chest of drawers, but they were not very practical or comfortable to use. Most importantly, the room was not quiet. Breakfast starts at 8 AM, so you will probably be woken up by other guests or the staff, as the door lets noise in very easily. Another issue was some breakfast foods. We found mold in the shared jars of jams and dried fruits. This was unpleasant and raised concerns about hygiene. Lastly, the bed was too soft and slightly sagging.

Breakfast was great, we needed gluten free options and they provided and made sure we have many options to eat, everything was delicious! The 'homey' feeling was amazing, great people and a great place, really big rooms, and nice facilities. Definitely recommend!

I thought we would be able to cook in the kitchen but I misunderstood, and some of the other guests decided to stay up late in the common room which was next to our room, so it was a bit noisy, but other than that everything was wonderful.

House keeper Eduarda was brilliant. Animals were lovely extra treat. Breakfast was excellent and wish we could have made more of everything. We were probably too busy to fully appreciate this house and all it had to offer.

Some services offered were not set up so well. Alcohol for example. Great to have on offer but not with the poor housekeeper having to come and get it out for you later on in the night.

We had an amazing stay for 3 nights at this beautiful location. Wonderful rooms, very quiet, lovely animals and amazing, locally prepared breakfast every day. Wonderful terrace and views. This place was everything we could wish for.

We accidentally booked the shared bathroom. No big deal at all, it’s pristine, clean, and very large. 2 of the 5 rooms have a shared restroom (checkout the website for details :) ).

Un petit déjeuner copieux, frais, avec confitures faites maison. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié le calme de la maison, et nous avons bien profité devant le feu au cheminée, avec Gaspard le chat et Laïka le chien.

Piękny, historyczny dom położony na wzgórzu ponad Povoacao, bardzo dobre śniadania (lokalne produkty, dżemy z owoców z ogrodu) i przyjemna część wspólna (taras, ogród, kominek). Bardzo pomocny i przyjazny personel (Eduarda i Sam), którym dziękujemy za miły pobyt. Dziękujemy również za rozpalanie kominka w chłodniejsze dni.

Dom jest nieco oddalony od Povoacao - byliśmy na to przygotowani, ale trzeba o tym pamiętać. Komfort korzystania ze strefy wspólnej w dużej mierze zależy od obecności i charakteru innych gości.

Uns hat hier wirklich ALLES gefallen! Wir haben uns wie zuhause gefühlt. Die Eigentümer Adélia and Guy (sowie Hündin Laika, die wir sehr liebgewonnen haben) haben uns persönlich so herzlich und freundlich empfangen und waren während unseres gesamten Aufenthaltes immer für uns da. Im Voraus haben wir viele nützliche Informationen erhalten und bei Fragen gab es schnelle Antworten. Und das Beste überhaupt, auf das wir uns jeden Morgen riesig gefreut haben: Das unfassbar gute und üppige Frühstück mit den vielen eigens liebevoll zubereiteten Köstlichkeiten aus dem eigenen Garten und der Region. Einen besseren und leckereren Start in unsere Urlaubstage hatten wir noch nie. Gegen eine kleine Gebühr konnten wir unsere Wäsche waschen lassen und haben sie sogar zusammengelegt zurückerhalten. Das Zimmer wird jeden Tag gereinigt. Unser geräumiges und maritim eingerichtetes Zimmer befand sich im 1. Stock und hatte ein eigenes, sehr großes Bad (inkl. Duschgel, Shampoo, Seife und Bade-/Handtücher) sowie ein großes, bequemes Doppelbett. Es stand Wasser für uns bereit und wir hatten einen Kühlschrank zur Verfügung. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und nichts vermisst. Im Erdgeschoss gibt es einen großen Gemeinschafts-Aufenthaltsraum, in dem auch das Frühstück serviert wird. Parken kann man kostenfrei nur sehr wenige Gehminuten entfernt am Kirchplatz nebenan. Wir würden die Unterkunft von Adélia und Guy jederzeit wieder buchen und können sie jedem wärmstens empfehlen. Sie liegt nahe Furnas, sehr ruhig, und ist ideal, um den Osten bis hin zum Norden/Süden und die Mitte der Insel zu erkunden. Vielen lieben Dank für die tolle Gastfreundschaft, die schönen Erlebnisse und den wundervollen Aufenthalt. Wir kommen gerne wieder und würden 20 Punkte vergeben, wenn wir könnten.

This is a beautiful old quinta in a very scenic location up a narrow paved drive to a small rural village. The views of the ocean and surrounding bucolic hills are outstanding. There are nice outdoor seating areas and the interior of the house is open to guests. Eduarda, who was running the quinta in the absence of the owners, was extremely helpful with directions for local sites and very kind when my wife became ill. The quinta is about two miles up a steep hill from the town where the restaurants and services are located. A car is really a necessity.

L’accueil de Mme Adélia et M. Guy était hors pair, leur gentillesse, leurs conseils ainsi que tous les petits détails réfléchis de leur bel emplacement font de cet endroit une maison où il fait bon de vivre. Je le recommande sans hésiter. Ce fut un coup de cœur. Et un délice au déjeuner. Espérant y retourner un jour!

L'emplacement est très agréable, au calme, vue superbe. Personnel agréable. Chambre très propre avec un petit déjeuner très complet.

Nous n'avons pas eu l'occasion de voir les propriétaires pur leur dire au revoir.

La quinta atlantis est un magnifique lieu de séjour aux acores! Les propriétaires sont aux petits soins pour leurs hôtes, les petits déjeuner sont exceptionnels, les chambres très propres et spacieuses. Nous avons passé un moment des plus agréables à la quinta.

A very nice B&B, convenient for all the attractions. Guy and Adelia, along with their staff, were excellent hosts, always ready to offer advice on places to visit and were available for any assistance we needed.

Superbe semaine chez Adelia et Guy. Chambres parfaitement propres, petit déjeuner avec que des produits locaux délicieux, Adelia et Guy parlent français et donnent beaucoup d'infos intéressantes sur l'île. Je recommande +++

Un alojamiento espectacular !Esta en pura naturaleza ,rodeado de vacas ,caballos, solo se escuchan los pájaros . Trato familiar ,muy agradecidos a los dueños y personal. Tomar los desayunos caseros, típicos de la zona preparados con cariño en una terraza con vistas al océano y montañas ,es una pasada. Muy recomendable para desconectarse de la rutina diaria y disfrutar de los paisajes de la isla .Hasta pronto familia!

Both occupant are so welcoming. They are living together with two dogs and one cat, which are so adorable. The room was very clean and big. Beside the room you can use a common living room and a big garden to relax. The breakfast was excellent, because it contains for example homemade jam and vegetable of the own garden. Thanks for this wonderful stay!

Thank you Adelia and Guy for this wonderful time at Quinta. Everything was great! House is beautiful, views and garden are amazing. We really loved the breakfasts - every day there was something new. There is tea/coffee/ always available. We were also kindly allowed to grill in the garden. And the last but not least - animals Laika, Pluto and Gaspar are the friendliest animals that made this stay even better. You are treated like a family there and this area of the island is a must see, so we highly recommend.

Lovely place with a wonderful garden/farm feel. The hosts were kind and the staff wonderful. Make sure you go visit the adorable donkey Chico. He loves to have you hold his head up and scratch his ears. Don't be afraid!

We had terrible wind during our stay and I believe it forced some sewer gas into our bathroom. That only happened on the last night of our stay.

The Quinta is a very calm and quiet space, we enjoyed our stay there. The personnel was very nice. The house animals are a great addition. The room was very clean and the installations were in good shape.

The beds were too soft for my taste

I loved everything about Quinta Atlantis, the house is beautifully decorated, the sounds of nature in the morning surrounded by beautiful gardens and lush green hills and mountain made it almost magical. The house staff was ever so helpful and very friendly. (Eduardo, Eduarda and Rafaela) our morning breakfasts were delicious and very healthy. On Christmas Eve and Christmas Day we were treated with a beautiful King Cake and Rice pudding. I can’t believe all the little extra details and special attention that was given to us.

The breakfast was spectacular, different every morning and with really good fresh fruits, cheeses, ham, yogurts every morning!! Thanks Eduarda! We loved the very cuddly cat and dog, spending time on the couch with the cat was a favourite pass time. The house is beautiful, clean, welcoming and with a gorgeous garden!

The only thing I had issues with was the light of the fire alarm in the bedroom, blinking on and off in the darkness of the night. But I have to say I get strong migraines and I am easily affected by blinking lights, most people might not notice.

You can enjoy a beautiful view while having a nice breakfast with homemade cheese, bread etc. Also, there are friendly animals - a dog and a cat. The room was nice. Although we had a shared bathroom, it was shared with two other people only. Generally, it was a calm and quite place to stay.

One day, there were a few small cockroaches in our room. However, the host used a spray against it and did her best to keep them away. Maybe it would be better to try to avoid having insect in the rooms by using the spray regularly.

The accommodation staff are very friendly and do everything they can to make sure the customer is comfortable. The cleanliness and all the advice and help provided by Quinta Atlantis, in general, for our stay in the Azores was excellent. Wonderful views from the terrace at sunrise and sunset, as well as their pets. We will miss the house pets a lot: Pluto and Laika. The place is very cozy, and you feel a great sense of peace both in the room and in the villa overall. 100% recommended.

You definitely need a car to get around. The location is beautiful, but a little farther away from restaurants.

It’s a very nice place with different animals (Pluto and Laika are the best, very kind cat and dog), but we forgot to see the donkey (maybe next time)

If you’re staying there longer that 3-4 days it’s cool to see some different breakfasts, it’s the only one thing we were missing!

Our stay at Quinta Atlantis was perfect, the location is great for exploring the eastern part of the island, the house and room were clean and spacious and the home made breakfast was excellent! Adelia and Guy are great hosts and gave us plenty of advice for exploring the surroundings.

Excellent accommodation around 13 km from Furnas. The house itself was so cozy and clean. Delicious breakfast, you could eat outside on the small patio with a fantastic view of the mountains and landscape. All staff were amiable and super helpful with everything we asked about. The cutest dog Lajka always welcomed us at the front gate.

Our stay in Quinta Atlantis was fantastic. If you prefer small, authentic and home-y accommodation over big hotel complex, this is the place! The owners and staff were very kind and helpful. Laika and Gaspar were amazing companions and always ready to greet us <3 Breakfast was delicious and there were always a home-baked goods.

The wi-fi did not work very well.

Best place I ever stayed at. Amazingly beautiful environment with water, mountain and field views. Amazing owners and staff with a breakfast feast that caters to each guests preference with lots of fresh fruit from their organic garden. Adelia and Guy were readily available to make excellent recommendations on activities, help book rental car/taxi or whatever came up. Farm animals on property . Would definitely love to go back to this property and the island. Ideal location to recharge and be nurtured.

Anita, Maria and Chris and cat & dog were very much welcome very accommodating and hospitable. Nice house, good location for the islands east.

The house, view and Anita and Chris were incredible. Really glad I booked this place. Anita made breakfasts and cakes for the afternoon and was really lovely and kind. Chris recommended some great places to go. Our son loved the garden and animals.

Beautiful surroundings; clean and well maintained; wonderful staff; a very comfortable place to stay; very good base to visit the eastern part of Sao Miguel island.

Breakfast made by Maria was very lovely. We had to check out early, before breakfast and she made us a little take away bag. The view from the balcony is amazing and there's so much silence and calm around. It's a great place to relax. The cat and the dog make good company during the day and evening.

It's not far out of the town center but on a steep hill (it is the Azores after all), so a car is handy. However, we didn't have a car and managed to get around well with taxis (or walked).

After staying at Quinta Atlantis it will be very difficult to give any other place 10/10 because nothing will be quite as wonderful as Quinta Atlantis. The location and view from there was breathtakingly beautiful, it was so relaxing to stay there. The house itself is also incredible. There is so much care and love and attention to detail in the decor. We felt very comfortable, like we were in our home abroad. The breakfast was amazing, everything home made and locally sourced. We would go back to the island just to stay here again!

We were fine with this but you just need to be aware that the road to get there has a lot of tight curves so you need to be comfortable driving in this set up. And make sure to follow the helpful instructions the hosts send for how to get there, otherwise the gps will send you in all sorts of random places.

The place is spectacular. The ideal spot to feel the unity with nature. The staff is extremely friendly and positive. Everything is clean, tide and super organized. But at the same time the space is really cosy and welcoming. The views from the inner yard simply fascinating. Breakfast with home made jams was higher than expected. It is also important to mention that place is absolutely kids friendly and comfortable for staying with children. Highly recommended.

This property was the best during our trip to the Azores. Their staff was simply superb and to say the least. The breakfast was prepared with a lot of attention to details and was plenty! Cleanliness was really good with bid rooms and a lot of space both in the our room and the in the common areas.

The house is generally rather humid and we could feel the dampness on the stuff we left in the property after a couple of days, at least in our room. The location is nice with an amazing view from the balcony, however the place is in a small village in the middle of nowhere. Depending what you're looking for... bear in mind you won't find life here

The property is amazing! the atmosphere of the house is great as the view outside! It is the perfect location for exploring the Island. The owners are friendly and very welcome people. They really make you feel at home! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!! Also the breakfast is amazing!

We’ve spent 3 days at Quinta Atlantis and had a very delightful stay. The house is very spacious and the property has some amazing views onto the ocean and countryside. Our room on the second floor (sea theme) was very airy and nicely decorated. The bed was comfy and bathroom was also spacious and very functional, although it had a slight sewage smell to it so we kept the door closed and window open. Maria was an amazing hostess and the breakfasts she made for us were some of the best we’ve had on our trip! We are just sad we didn’t have more time to enjoy the accommodation itself as it is very charming inside and out. The only potential issue is the very steep and narrow road leading up to the place, so make sure you’re comfortable with your driving.

Redicolously awesome breakfast and happy /kind staff. Redicolously pleasant wakeup bells :) Breathtaking views both night and day. I loved the cat and other animals.

To be honest, soo many pillows, cleaned ordered into their original position was kinda annoying But I understand that was part of the excellent hispitality :)

Such a lovely 6 night stay. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast was awesome with local produce and it was wonderful to meet other guests. Location was great for us; far removed from the hustle and bustle. The hosts gave us loads of information to help us plan, lent us maps and a book with hikes, recommended whale watching tours and were just very helpful by providing 'insider knowledge '. Pets Gaspar and Laika were adorable! We were sad to leave.

The housekeeper was lovely helping us while the owners were away. Rooms were spacious with comfortable beds.

Nowhere to hang wet towels. We had a shared bathroom only 2 hooks Nowhere suitable for our towels. There is a cat, house cat. A dog that was only there when staff were. We were not aware there would be animals. It was not a problem for us but could be for others.

Three-star price with six-star service and quality, another extra star is for the family-oriented hospitality which doesn't exist on five-star hotels.

The building is nice and the room had air conditioning (it makes your night better on humid and hot days). The breakfast was delicious with local ingredients and quite some choice. There was a friendly dog and cat walking around in the common area. Water and tea was available at any time. There was parking space next to the church everyday which is quite close to the location. The surroundings are beautiful and calm, and you can have breakfast with a view on days with good weather.

We had a bedroom with a shared bathroom. We didn't have any issues, but sometimes we had to wait.

There is not enough praise about Adelia and Guy home and their hospitality. We could relax in peacufull countryside with delicious breakfast every morning and nice chat with our hosts. They made every effort to make our stay comfortable. We send our best regards from Poland!

Best place to stay on Sao Miguel!

The breakfast spread was incredible with lots of local fresh food to choose from. They even offered to cook us eggs! We really enjoyed the views from the terrace and listening to all the farm animals in the area - sitting out there was very peaceful. Both our hosts and their pets were extremely friendly and made our stay easy and comfortable.

Quinta Atlantis is a little paradies with a beauiful garden runned by a heartwarming couple, an outstanding and charming place!!!

Sehr schönes familiäres Bed&Breakfast. Grosse Räume und das Spezielle… das Frühstück an der grossen Tafel. Ideal um sich auszutauschen. Der Aufenthalt im östlichen Teil lohnt sich. Die Restaurantauswahl hält sich in Grenzen. Gute Planung und alles ist perfekt.
