This was my third stay, and the hotel continues to be a simple, clean, and budget-friendly choice. The location couldn't be better for university drop-offs and getting into the town centre, and the reception team were lovely and professional. Rooms were spotless, though I had a little laugh each time my upbeat 'good morning' vanished into thin air—clearly they prefer to let the clean rooms do all the talking😁
My only slight issue was with other guests and their dogs—a bit more consideration keeping pets close on leash makes a big difference for guests who aren't as keen on dogs. All in all, a great-value stay that does exactly what it says on the tin.
friendly helpful sraff on reception. nice, comfortable rooms and reception area. convenient location lots of parking space. great tea!
Non-carpet in the bedroom - so much more hygienic! Very friendly and helpful staff.
The only hooks in the bathroom were within the shower area, so things hanging in there got wet. A hook on the back of the bathroom door would have made a big difference.
Clean, tide, ideal with parking

Very clean and comfortable and quiet. Staff were very helpful and kind

Room itself was comfortable and a good size. Comfortable bed and good bathroom.
I specifically booked because of the advertised "vegan options"/specific dietary menus. This was a complete joke. The on site restaurant didn't have a single plant based option. And for breakfast, even a vegetarian would have struggled. I let the staff know when I arrived for breakfast and they went to tell the chef. I assumed this meant they would bring out a vege sausage or something, but after I eventually went to check, they just informed me that I could pick through some hash browns and off brand cereal which may or may not actually be vegan friendly (chef didn't seem to know what it meant). Across the room I also heard another guest struggling to get clarity on gluten free options. It was actually quite insulting and I think very misleading that "vegetarian and vegan options available" is so prominent on their booking page. This is not difficult or expensive to accommodate in 2026, especially for such an established hotel franchise.

Pleasant accommodation and good value. Breakfast was included and was very good in a pleasant dining room with attractive ceramics. The staff on duty were attentive and friendly which gave me the favourable impression that I was staying at a small family run hotel.
All fine. I think that the beds used by Premier and refreshed Travelodges are a little more comfortable.
Friendly and helpful staff, clean and comfortable room
The evening food stopped a bit early, it would be nice to have the choice of ordering a shortened menu from your room.
L'emplacement facilement accessible mais près d'une route à grand trafic, parking à disposition. Le personnel très sympa.
Vraiment en dehors de la ville
Staff were outstanding and welcoming. We had an issue with the room which was resolved immediately, with the staff going above and beyond.
The room was sizeable, clean and comfortable, and of a good temperature. The shower/bathroom was clean, and the bed was also clean and comfortable.
I would have liked the hotel to be closer to the centre of Swansea, as I was travelling on foot. But having said that, that cannot be blamed on the hotel! Furthermore, it was still reasonably close to shops and restaurants near the centre (20 minutes walk) and there were restaurants/shops within 5 minutes distance.
Location was good
Kept awake at night by people shouting for prolonged periods. No phone in room to call reception. I went out at 1am to have a word with what appeared to be drunk druggies. Woken at 5am to doors slamming and loud conversations in the corridor. Have feedback on checkout. Staff apologised but think some form of refund was due.
Friendly staff
Friendly staff
The hotel was what you expect from a recognised chain. It was clean and comfortable. Everything worked as it should although the internet was a bit spotty. However, the staff were superb - going above and beyond on several occasions during our visit. They really could not have taken better care of us.
Housekeeping could have done a bit better job in cleaning and restocking the room. Coffee drinkers were reasonably well served. Tea drinkers, less so.
Reception Staff were excellent fast book in friendly and informative i would definitely recommend this place.
Nothing it was perfect.
Excellent location, food and staff very attentive and friendly

Lots of parking. 24 hour reception. Friendly staff
Bed was too hard. The hotel is in need of a repaint. Breakfast was not very inviting so we ate elsewhere. e.g scrambled eggs made with too much milk and swimming in water. Very limited cereals and fruit.
Good location, clean room, good bathroom and friendly staff

El personal de recepción y cafetería muy amable .
Breakfast was surprisedly great ! More than just continental breakfast !
The room is too hot even with window open at Temperature 18c outside , there is a broken fan provided .

The hotel had easy access and plenty of parking. All the staff were very friendly. The breakfast was very good and the staff very attentive. Room was clean and comfortable
No air con . Door in bathroom was a bit heavy for my 91 year old mother.
All good
I was not told to register my vehicle so incurred a £100 fine. Even if the kiosk was dotted all over the place, not everyone is observant in a new/strange place. All reception had to do was to give me a heads up. The fine was painful
This was the best Ibis hotel I have stayed in.I have been in many all over Europe and England,The staff were amazing so Happy and helpful, nothing was to much trouble. They went above and beyond to make our stay welcoming and even suggested places for us to walk our dog.which were absolutely delightful..well done to all the staff at this hotel for doing your job so brilliantly and I am sure this is not always easy.we will definitely be back to stay with you again you really made our holiday.thankyou.Dawn and Edwin Bristol.
The location was excellent
The rooms on the side next to the main road were very noisy
Everything we usually go to travelodge but ibis fab. Nothing it was nice staff great
Breakfast was fine but the plates could be larger.
There was nothing really that we didn't like.
It is convenient by car. Lots of parking spaces.
The carpets look dirty.
Very clean and great staff great location

Good location if passing through and close proximity to fast food chains. Good free parking for your stay and overall good. Food and drinks bar also available with super friendly staff

Friendly and helpful staff, 24/7 reception. Nice and comfortable room and amenities.
L'accueil du personnel. L'accès à la marina à pieds en 20 minutes.
Les équipements sont un peu vieillissant
leider gibt es keine Klima Anlage
It does exactly what it offers. Clean, budget accommodation. Staff on reception were really helpful. Will happily stay there again.
Nothing, if you want five star accommodation in a better location, go there and pay a lot more.
goed ontbijt, ruime kamer
laadpaal werkte niet, 1 km verder moeten gaan laden, aan een ander hotel, daar dan maar avondeten genomen
Breakfast was excellent. Great value for money. All you could need to set you up for the day.
For the evening perhaps a vending machine with soft drinks and snacks
Clean. Had everything we needed. Great location. Lovely staff.

The price was good, location and parking excellent, staff exceptionally polite and helpful.
No AC, in hot weather it is extremely warm, showers no cold water at all, set temperatures which was scorching hot. Sink doesn’t drain water straight away but takes several hours to drain.
nothing
they cancelled my booking at short notice due to over booking rooms couldn't get other accommodation due to ironman swansea so lost out on my entry fee to ironman as I couldn't travel with no accommodation
Received a booking.com message from the venue 2 days before my stay with a “sorry we are fully booked” having booked 10 months ago for an Ironman event. Poor customer service!
Location
Convenience
Room was rather warm but that was expected given the current weather!
Great price and x great staff
The manager is amazing
staff were all brilliant, room was clean, bed was very comfortable, there was no noise, breakfast was average
Room was fine for a night before a cycle ride.
Convenient location. Good TV and decor
No Aircon.
The breakfast was value for money . The staff were friendly and helpful.
The bed was smaller then we are use to, and a bit hard.
I stayed for two nights, and the location was excellent. Overall, I had a very pleasant stay. The room was well equipped with everything I needed, and the bed was comfortable enough for a good night's sleep. The breakfast offered a good variety of choices and was enjoyable.
The restaurant had a very limited selection of meal options. I also experienced an issue with my room key during my stay.
Good location easy to find. Free car parking that’s a must especially if you have driven almost two hundred to get to the hotel. The room had the usual facilities and amenities one would expect. Hair dryer ironing board iron tea coffee.
The room was ok for a reasonable nights stay. The room we got had a horrible smell. We had to spray it with our perfumes to mask the smell. Unfortunately we arrived at 2:30am and was too exhausted to request for another room and slept through it.
Very friendly staff and appreciated dog friendliness
Corridors noisy - could hear people talking as they walked down the corridor - which set our dog off barking (and possibly waking up others)
Easy to find, bed comfortable
Shower wasn’t great, shower head would not stay in place. kept falling down and spraying into the wall, had to push it all the way back to stay in place or take it out of the holder and hold it myself while trying to wash
Everything
Good parking
Bit far out of town
Good location and the staff at reception was amazing, very friendly atmosphere
Even though it was a last min booking I thought the price a bit high
Breakfast was terrible, definitely not worth the cost.
Staff were very helpful
Staff were excellent, couldn't do enough for us. Very basic, but clean and tidy.
Ran out of mailbu on first night, room key cards kept failing. Draught alcohol, first pint always had a tainted taste. Not the hotels fault, but the EV charge point outside didn't work wither, one of the reasons we booked there.
The pastries were really good
The cooked breakfast looked over cooked. The coffee machine was not working and the juice was very watery.
Check in and out was quick and easy. The room was clean, and we had no issues during our stay.
Wi-Fi was a bit slow
Excellent breakfast
Difficult to say
Location, staff for making us early breakfast from 04:30 am it was very thoughtful
The only problem we had with our stay was the traffic noise all night
Clean, tidy spacious
Only 1 chair in a double bed room, no biscuits for our cuppa
The staff were very helpful and friendly could not do enough. Nice and clean, lovely well cooked food.
The noise from the road as the double glazing did not seem to work ( we live in a very quiet close so notice noises)
All the staff were friendly and helpful in the morning for breakfast.
Window didn't work properly, couldn't tilt the window to let air into the room when it was warm in the morning. The window seal was poor and we could hear all the road noises.
The staff were so lovely on the 8th June evening, couldn’t have done more to help us and feel more welcome. Please let them know we appreciated it
Plenty of space in the room. Parking on site. Quiet area. Nice walk along by the Harbour.
Evening meal was disappointing.
Location is ok. But the atmosphere from staff and people staying here is disgusting. They treat people differently and have different rules for different people here. The room is basic and not many plugs. The bed is super uncomfortable and you have to repair it your self to try and sleep in it. No air con or fans offered and when asked for extra pillows I was told no coz they aint allowed to give out more than 2 pillows for a double bed.
Veey friendly, helpful staff. Clean and cimfortable room.
Bar and foid facilities. Limited choices.

Everything
They always provide the ground floor rooms looking at the parking where it is not comfortable to open the window.
The member of staff at check-in was so so lovely – very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and the shower was good. I loved that check out was at 12pm!
The room was a little noisy — another guest had dogs that barked and there was lots of banging around 11pm. The location was also kind of the middle of nowhere. It worked for me as it was between town and the bay campus, but there isn't anything around, unless you count McDonalds.
Having lived in Swansea a few years ago I already knew the location would be good but the area has changed over time. The staff were great, really friendly and helpful. The food at breakfast was good. A full cooked English breakfast (eggs were scrambled or boiled not fried) was available, as well as a wide range of cereals, toast, croissants, fruit, yoghurt and continental options. We enjoyed having Welsh cakes available and everything was fresh and replaced quickly if it ran out. Overall it was also pretty cheap for a hotel close to the city and with breakfast.
The hotel room felt tired and in need of a refurb. We stayed in an ‘accessible twin’ room which suited our needs (limited mobility but not wheelchair user) to help future disabled visitors I do need to outline some issues. The room was a fair size but the beds were pushed together and unless you basically want to share a bed with the person you’re with (which I’m assuming most people who book twins don’t) then there wasn’t really enough room on either side to get a wheelchair down and transfer. There were also really limited plug sockets in the room and most (a cube extension cord and single socket) were at floor level with only one at bed level but this was at head/pillow height above a bed. The reading light lamps had dangling cords over the beds. This was ok for us but some might struggle. The pillows were all rock solid and the mattresses might be a bit soft for some wheelchair users to transfer. The ‘accessible’ bathroom had a heavy door that swung shut to get into as well as a sizeable ledge to get over (the hotel entrance and room door also had big ledges). It was a wet room with a shower chair but it had no shower curtain so the whole floor got soaked and there was no room to fit a wheelchair and grab bars seemed quite low to aid safe transfer to the chair - there were also no pull down rails in the shower area just one at the toilet. The shower was very high up and impossible to move up or down on its bar. I suspect transfer from a wheelchair to the toilet would also be very difficult because you’d need to park in the shower area which had an angled floor for drainage. There was a decent space under the sink to pull a wheelchair into but it was taken up with 3 different bins. One final frustration was the tv remote. It had very small buttons that seemed to work using prayer and luck rather than pressure.
I have stayed at the Ibis Hotel for just over six months, and throughout my entire stay the team has been consistently professional, welcoming, and attentive. The standard of service has been exceptional, and nothing has ever felt like too much trouble. The staff have created an environment that is comfortable, respectful, and genuinely well-managed. I’m very grateful for the care and consistency shown during my time here and would happily recommend the hotel to others.
Excellent free parking. Near to supermarket.
room was very nice clean and i was very happy with it.
unusual traffic in the carpark lots of people just hanging around in cars sitting and talking to what i presume is staff. also noticed a very strong smell of cannabis so had to keep my window shut. we were staying at this hotel by the recommendation of singleton hospital as my partner was having a surgical procedure and we had travelled all the way from north wales we also spoke other people who were in a group of people having the same procedure on different dates and they when talking to them they also stayed at the ibis and said they also smelt cannabis and noticed unusual traffic in the carpark
Quarto grande e grande, staff muito simpático
Cheiro a fritos na entrada do hotel, algo longe do centro
Staff were very friendly, breakfast was ok.
Nothing really, it is what it is.
Excellent staff, Friendly and went above and beyond

Very clean and a lovely staff team.
My room was facing the main road which was very busy and noisy.
Location was perfect for our stay in Swansea. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good value.
As soon as we entered the corridor outside our room it smelled strongly of cannabis. Our room also smelled of cigarette smoke. The room was pretty grim with chipped paint on the walls and skirting boards. There was only one pillow each on the bed and some of the lights didn't work. We had a kettle with tea and coffee but no mugs. I wouldn't stay here again which is a shame because it's so convenient for the city centre and the staff are lovely and friendly.
Good hotel, expectable room, same as in each ibis which is good thing!
I bit far away, but 25 min walking will get you into city center
The hotel was quite no noisy late revellers turning up part at night. Peaceful
Free morning coffee
