The staff were amazing, very friendly and accomodating. Very well presented and professional.

Our room 1008, the AC kept making noises and the bathtub was slippery when I went to shower. The T.V's also need to be updated, it was odd not being able to connect my netflix to the tv.

The Panthers were staying there. Close to public transport and very neat and tidy.

Perfect location close to the motorway and near the hospital, staff were kind and helpful. Also there were luggage trolleys.

Only down side would be the beds to firm to my liking but they were otherwise good.

I asked for a quiet room having come off two long flights and I was given a 4th floor room (long way from the ground) facing away from the road, so I could not have asked for more. The staff were excellent in helping me store and retrieve my bags after checking out, in printing a form that I needed, and in their general welcome. It is very close to the train station for trains to Newmarket (major shopping centre etc.) and Auckland city centre. There is a large hypermarket across the road.

This is a minor, zeroth world comment - grapefruit and grapefruit juice at breakfast? May I'm just a bitter oldie...

Breakfast was excellent. Room clean but dated and tired and no storage other than hanging space. Chairs in reception stained. Did not have dinner but bar snack on arrival was good but not excellent. Surprised car park was not secure and an extra charge made. Staff were friendly and obliging.

General decoration. Compared to past stays at hotel quality of decoration and dated bathroom was a disappointment as was the fact that the car park was not secure even though there was a cost and people were often looking for spaces.

Location and facilities were just what we needed. A bit pricy

The restaurant dinner meal was very average. And a bit of a disappointment. Breakfast however was lovely and very good.

Mould in bathroom, loud noise throughout stay from aircon unit, daily parking cost not stated on booking.com and staff member very rude when I queried this additional charge.

Parking needs to have Car park allocated if you have reserved parking the car parks are numbered so suggestion would be to link rego with number 12 carpark and then it is yours to use for the time you are there .. because o has reserved parking but then needed to leave and got back and there was no parking

There was a ball on the night I stayed. This was very loud and when I called about the noise I was told about the ball and it was going intil 10.30pm. When staying here for a early night, it defected the purpose

Not much to be honest. Staff were ok.

Rooms need to be updated. Ask about the lights flicking on and off for the 3 days still not fixed. Not much options of food or close by shops except the Petrol station across the road.

Quiet, loved the kids area which was close to the restaurant. Spacious room. Great that they offered late checkout and gave baby a cute plushie.

Room was quite ‘tired’. Carpet was worn. There was artwork of a tree on the wall which was glass and was quite dirty. Breakfast was lacklustre, lots of empty stations even though we were well within the buffet time. Had to ask for things to be replenished. Lots of the food was dry or flavourless. Paid for late 4pm checkout and breakfast. Took a while for them to find it on our account when we checked in. Same as when we went for breakfast. Also got a call at 11am asking when we are checking out. Had to again explain we paid for late check out (we were asleep and they woke us and baby up). Staff were friendly but obviously communication/system issues. House keeping was very messy in the halls - piles of sheet, clipboards, etc on the floor.

Clean and well maintained hotel, with good facilities and right next to Allevia Ascot Hospital.

Great breakfast, close to the city, super comfy beds and a short drive to the zoo.

The staff were friendly and helpful. Room service was prompt and easy to order. My room was warm and tidy. The bed was comfortable and I was happy with the value for money.

There were some parts of the bathroom that could do with some maintenance, this didn't affect usability or cleanliness though.

The room was very quiet, which was excellent, as I was resting prior to my return to South Africa, which is an 18hrs flying time, plus 3hrs stop in Perth.

Staff very relaxed, cordial and helpful

Bedroom was airless. Hard to sleep in. Stuffy. Food sadly was off par and expensive as it wasn’t value. The buffet was clearly leftovers. Beef cheeks don’t have right angles. Curry was ‘white mans curry’. (Non racist English chefs term for unauthentic Indian food). Salmon had pinbones and no desserts was homemade.

I like that we allowed to check-in early for free of charge. Thanks to the DM. I also like the online check-in. They clean our room even i did not put the signage. Which i not.expected. The bed is comfy and clean.
