The only reason I gave a 9 out of 10 was because of the dishwasher. When we opened it, it was shut pretty promptly due to the foul smell of what I can only describe as similar to fish. Could do with a rinse aid or 3.

Reviewed Aug 8, 2026The mobility parking is insufficient with only one park. There was a vehicle parked illegally in the single mobility park available at the front of the hotel. When bought to staff attention, they said it had been there all week! We were invited to instead park on ramp area blocking access to footpath (not designated parking), which we declined. Despite this we enjoyed the room, facilities and cafe just across the way.

Felt the parking situation was a little over complicated. I was so tired from so much driving to get to the hotel that day that I just felt being given a parking spot 4 floors up, in a different building, with an access pass and a note to put on my dashboard was a bit much. The amount of empty spaces I passed felt a bit unfair that I couldn't just have a space where there was one free.

Reviewed Jul 12, 2026Its a clean space, under construction so likely will continue to get better. Beds are really comfortable and good insulation meant its nice and quiet once you get in. Its in a good location for going and grabbing a bite to eat and ellerslie township is walking distance.
No one was there at check in and when I went back down to ask about gym facilities again had to wait a long time for someone to appear. Gym is really tight and cramped with limited options (but it works at a pinch, be a bit rough if you were staying for a week)

Train line and motorway side are pretty noisy, so if you do have trouble blocking out noise I would suggest making sure you are on the other side of the building.

Reviewed Jun 5, 2026I was in town for a bodybuilding competition about 5 mins away, the staff was super helpful and accommodating, getting us a one hour later checkout and helping our makeup artist get to our room.
There’s a bit of back and forth needed to sort the parking and it’s not obvious what spaces to use (some with signs for La Quinta aren’t available for guests). Not a huge deal.
