El trato del personal fantástico, muy atentos, la comida del buffet estupenda, tanto en desayuno como cena. Reformado recientemente, el hotel es estupendo y aunque disponía de parking, no hizo falta, aparcamos sin problema en la calle.

Estuvimos muy agusto, en general todo estuvo estupendo.

The hotel was lovely and clean. The staff were courteous and always helpful, and did everything to ensure our short trip was great. It was a little walk from the main area but the walk to/from was enjoyable.

I stayed with my sister who is in a wheelchair, the size of the room was excellent and there was a roll in shower which is what we needed. However the location is not the best, my son and his friend caught a virus there and are still recovering. Very disappointed as i contacted the hotel several times asking whether the free shuttle they provided had a ramp for my sister who is in a wheelchair and they said no, but it does have a ramp! This cost me €750 hiring a private car Breakfast was good, but dinner not much choice for €32. The staff were kind and helpful, we had an early flight home and they made us breakfast to go. Hotel was clean, rooms cleaned daily even if quite late in the afternoon

There was a cockroach under the sofa but the staff dealt with it quickly to be fair.

The hotel room was old and somewhat dirty. The air condition in my room was not functioning and the only response from the hotel staff was the word "sorry".

We're just back home after a three night stay here. The hotel was very good value for three of us for the August bank holiday weekend. Staff at reception were very nice. Our room was spacious and was cleaned everyday with fresh towels provided. We didnt see any ants during our stay. The shower was very powerful and Shampoo, conditioner and shower gel were provided. The pools were very nice with no issues getting beds. The pool bar was very expensive and thats why I havent given 5 stars. For a super boch beer they were charging 7 euro. It wasnt even a pint glass. I think this is very steep. We got food there our first day and it was also expensive but nice. The hotel is located a good twenty mins walk to old town albufeira. Its all down hill so not bad going in but I would recommend a taxi or uber back to the hotel which will cost around 5 euro. Breakfast was included in or stay. Its a buffet style breakfast with different cold and hot options. You can also order a fresh omelette or eggs. You would need to be there for 9 or maybe 9:30 at the latest as it gets extremely busy from then on. The hotel also has a fabulous gym with plenty of machines for weights and also treadmills and stationary bikes. There is also an indoor pool that we didnt use but looked clean. All in all I think this is a very nice hotel and I think some of the reviews are very harsh towards it. I would definitely stay again.

Lovely staff and excellent breakfast.

We stayed for 3 nights. When we first arrived we were waiting over half an hour longer for check in after 3pm. Room is very spacious with a very comfy bed. we woke up the first night to many ants in our bed and under the pillows. we addressed this situation to reception and said they would get this sorted immediately and blamed it on the fact it’s summer. Five hours later nobody had been up to change our bed and was still left with ants so we went back to reception again to tell them. This time the bed was made but not changed so the ants were still there. The cleaner that has been sent was fairly rude to my friend. So we rang reception again about the issue and got told to move rooms. This took us all around an hour as we were moving from floor 4 to -1 with no help from anyone. The new room had no ants and was clean. we ate twice at the restaurant, food was tasty however service was sometimes slow, however one of the nights we had to move tables due to around 100 ants at our feet whilst sat inside. On a morning for breakfast it was very busy and hard to find a seat and lots of the options were empty and filled up very slowly so you had to wait ages for more food to be brought out. The hotel does offer a free shuttle service which we found convenient to get to the beach and old town.

Wonderful welcome to your hotel by the exceptional receptionist. Very good room service. Everything needed was provided. Loved the location of our room and the beautiful gardens.

There was 2 ladies on a reception that we had met, older lady i had an really unpleasant impression and didn’t like to communicate with her her answer was cold and judgmental, junger lady was super sweet and helped a lot with our problems. In general in a room shower is big, room is clean, breakfast was good enough.

Cleaners kept slamming the doors making a lot of noise when cleaning the rooms. Instead of slamming the doors the hotel should invest in some door stoppers so the cleaners can keep the room doors open while cleaning. We got a water bottle delivered at 23:00 without asking for one. The staff member used the master key to open the door when we were sleeping. That is completely unacceptable.

Here are my upsides: 1. The hotel location is only 5-10 min drive to old town or the marina or new town. The location is perfect. 2. There is a free van that takes you from the hotel to old town it leaves at 9:00, 12:00, 15:00 and 18:00. 3. The staff were very friendly and helpful whenever I had any questions or complaints. The hotel was very clean and our rooms were cleaned daily, during our 4 nights stay. 4. The Breakfast was excellent with many options like pancakes, croissants, sausages, bacon, eggs, orange juice, different cereals, coffee machines and plenty fruits etc. 5. There are 3 pools with plenty of spaces to relax on the lounge chairs. 6. Great air conditioning in bedrooms.

Here are the downsides for me: 1. I wish breakfast did not end so early at 10:30 am. 2. The natural lighting from the balcony was excellent however, My room did not have enough lighting from light bulbs, in my opinion. So it made my room very dark at night time. 3. I also wish the bedroom doors did not slam very loudly. 4. The wifi speed was disappointing. My own mobile data worked way faster ! 5. On arrival, I was shocked to find that the white shower curtain in my bathroom was badly discoloured with brown residue, at the bottom. I had to complain 3 times before the shower curtain was changed. I am happy that it was resolved but still shocked that I had to meet this condition on arrival. I would stay at this hotel again and would also recommend for a family with children.

Muito boa estrutura com piscinas, restaurante, sauna e academia de ginástica. Meu apartamento era bem amplo, com dois quartos separados. Os funcionários são todos muito gentis. O hotel fica bem central no Algarve, equidistante das principais cidades para quem pretende rodar e conhecer a área.

A cama de casal eram duas de solteiro juntadas. Nunca fica muito confortável.

Do sossego que a localização proporcionou, do transporte para praia, de ter várias piscinas, da comida e simpatia dos empregados, das comodidades no quarto (ex.: tábua e ferro de engomar). O ginásio era excelente também e as opções de lazer para quem tem um filho adolescente eram boas (bilhar, jogos de tabuleiro, etc)

A atenção ao pormenor na limpeza é um ponto a melhorar.

En la piscina exterior continuamente jugando a la pelota, a pesar de que se prohibía en las normas de uso y nadie del personal del hotel para llamar la atención. La habitación la arreglaban muy tarde, incluso después de las 16 horas, a pesar de dejar el cartelito antes de las 8 a.m.

Nice staff, as a wheelchair user, I was able to access most of the spaces.

There was no shower chair in the bathroom, the staff tried to find a plastic chair, but they couldn’t find one . The hotel can buy a suitable shower chair for €20 and place it in the bathroom when needed.

Era um quarto de não fumadores e tinha beatas de cigarro coladas no parapeito da varanda, e pelos no chão junto da cama, zonas que claramente não haviam sido limpas. A clara falta de formação laboral de alguns funcionários para operar com os equipamentos de pagamento que gera algumas esperas até que venha um que saiba, e o facto de se dirigirem aos clientes tratando por tu, não que a mim pessoalmente me incomode mas não me parece muito adequado a uma unidade hoteleira de 4*

Hotel etwas abseits vom Geschehen, allerdings für ein paar Tage und mit Auto wunderbar. Frühstück hervorragend. Pools mit Liegen gut ausgestattet und es gibt auf jeder Hotelseite ein Pool.

I stayed for two nights in room 425. The young female working at reception when I arrived did not greet me. I said hello first. The room was very nice, bright, spacious & airy with a large window that opened onto a balcony with a great view. There were no television channels in any language other than Portuguese & one in Spanish. The bathroom was spacious & the towels were good. The bed was very comfortable. The first thing I did was go down to the outside bar to pick up a salad to bring back to my room to eat on the balcony. It was a great salad. However, the smell of cigarette smoke outside on the balcony was a turnoff, so I ate inside my room with the window closed. Over the next two days, my time was spent either in my room, eating breakfast in the dining room and going to the gym. The grounds had lots of lounging chairs to relax on, but the ever-present smell of cigarette smoke nauseated me so much that I avoided the lounging area & outdoor pool. It could have been a nice experience, but second-hand cigarette smoke destroyed it for me. I did take advantage of the complimentary shuttle service to the beach one afternoon and I enjoyed the nice beach & swimming in the waves a lot. On my last night, I went to the dining room for a bite to eat. The dining room was very busy with buffet diners, who are seated separately from those ordering food from the menu. I ordered a veggie burger and a poached egg. I stated at least 3 times to my server that I did not want my egg to be overcooked, that I wanted my egg to be "just" cooked (soft in the middle). After twenty minutes of waiting, I asked my server what the delay was about. He was a little odd, almost laughing at me. I asked him why he was laughing. I approached the entrance to the kitchen and asked a man standing there if he was a manager. He said that he wasn't but he wanted to know why I had asked. A young woman, a greeter/server in the dining room, was also present. I said that I had been waiting for 20 minutes for a simple veggie burger & poached egg. I expressed that I was feeling like a "low priority" guest amongst a packed room of diners paying for the pricey buffet. I was bombarded with excuses and I returned to my table. Within a few minutes, the female greeter/server brought me a veggie burger & a side mini bowl of fries. The poached egg came later and surprise! It was not soft in the centre, the yolk was stiff, just the way I asked for it not to be. It was a miserable experience eating there. When I checked out the next morning, the young woman at reception (the same one who did not greet me when I checked in), did not thank me for choosing to stay at the hotel or say goodbye at all. She was silent. The hotel itself is lovely, with much to offer the visitor; however, the inescapable stench of cigarette smoke outdoors and the absolute lack of hospitality on the part of some of the hotel employees took away any enjoyment of my being there.

La atención de las chicas estupenda, sobre todo de la rubia; estuvo pendiente de todo mientras nos atendió. La de los hombres en recepción no mucho en realidad, excepto los chicos de la barra de fuera, buena atención a la hora de pedir comida.

Teniendo en cuenta el precio por hospedaje, no nos gustó que tuvimos que pedir crema dental porque no la dejaron en la habitación y tuvimos que bajar del cuarto por ella, tampoco la hicieron llegar. Nos dieron una sola crema... O sea, para una persona no más. Quisimos pagar por extender una hora el check out y que no se podía. Sin embargo el personal estuvo atento de guardar equipaje mientras estábamos fuera, tuvimos que entregar habitación sobre las 8:30am, 4 horas antes por no tener extensión de una hora.

Nice breakfast presentation & offerings. Great early start time for breakfast (7 a.m.). Room: bright, airy, spacious, clean, well-stocked with complimentary coffee pods for coffee machine. I loved that! Comfortable bed and bed linens were good. Plenty of soft towels.

The inescapable smell of cigarette smoke outdoors. For example, I bought a salad to eat on my lovely balcony, but the odour of cigarette smoke from other balconies forced me inside. I didn't spend any time on my balcony to enjoy the scenic views. It would be better for a large hotel to designate separate floor(s) with balconies as non-smoking for non-smokers and smoking for those who smoke. It feels like non-smokers are the underdog in Europe. It's very unpleasant and I will consider my next destination with far more scrutiny before booking. I'm back at home now in N.A. & still coughing.

Great location. Mostly quiet. Great facilities. The staff were very friendly. Even with a late return flight time I was able to get showered and sorted at the hotel before departure, despite having checked out.

No daily bedroom snacks or water which I thought should’ve been included in the price. Sometimes took a while to get served at the poolside bar.

This is the best Holiday Inn I have stayed at. It has a similar vibe to a David Lloyd’s, everything was great
