We liked breakfast. They was wonderful.
Room could be little more better cleaned specifically flors. Didn't like that in room was no conditioner, was very difficult for sleeping in such hot room
A mio avviso l’intera struttura andrebbe riqualificata.
- Lovely clean, spacious room. Kettle, sink, fridge and oven in kitchen. - 2 good sized pools- managed to get Sunbeds on various days/ times with both pools having a bar/ shop. - Walk to seafront/ centre takes around 20 minutes but there is an hourly shuttle into the centre and back throughout the day. - Can be a little noisy at times when sleeping but isn’t too bad. - No air conditioning but you can hire 1 fan per room for around a 12 euro deposit. You can also hire irons for a deposit. - You can play mini golf for free and there is an 11 hole course. You can also play padel but it comes at a cost of 25 euros for 1 hour. - The main downside for us was the quality of the food. We had breakfast on 2 days and on both occasions food was of poor quality. On the second day we found mould on the butter in the buffet. When we brought this up to a member of staff they just took it and shrugged it off. No apology. - Overall the hotel is great and would recommend it but for self catering only.

A lovely hotel high up above the beautiful tow of Puerto de la Cruz, offering natural surroundings, beautiful flowers and additional amenities such as tennis court, large swimming pool, activities and a sauna for guests to enjoy. Rooms are clean, we stayed in the Esplanade Superior Studio with Balcony in the casita. A kitchenette was available with tea, coffee facilities for two drinks provided, the room has a working fridge and complimentary water was left on the table. Shower was large but slightly dated with some tape used around the window edge in the cubicle. There is no air conditioning we found this a little disappointing due to the 4 start rating and with having a child…. but thankfully we found ways to keep cool naturally and managed but I would suggest if you are not someone who can manage without this might create a problem!!!! Reception can offer fans if required but I know this can feel a little lacking especially with young children. With regard to the large pool I do wish there was a little pool or shallow side option for children which would have been great but the large pool served our family well and we enjoyed our time! Big shout out to the lifeguard on duty always offering help, very efficient and always monitoring the pool area which was great to see as a guest! Breakfast was a good spread with continental and cooked options on offer. Hot beverages, juices, flavoured water! We loved the fresh fruit options, pancakes and the quality for the cooked breakfast!
The hotel is amazing, greta atmosphere and the breakfast was nice. The walk to town is really nice and adventurous, only issue was walking back (which we done alot) but there is a bus you can catch to take you back up some parts of the day. Also Gave free Prosecco on my birthday which I appreciated alot.
Currently at this hotel - 2 adults and 2 teens. Nestled in lush greenery with an incredible volcano backdrop, the Eden offers a peaceful natural escape. We have a stunning front-row view of the volcano peak right from our balcony. It is a truly magical destination. Yes, the hotel is dated but the area, staff and location make up for it in so many ways. A shuttle is available all day to run you to the center which is only 20 minute walk. The 5th floor pool opens at 10am. There are plenty of sun loungers for everyone. Music and pool-side entertainment starts at 11am. A pool bar is also open selling drinks and ice cream. Reception staff are kind and polite. Nothing is ever too much trouble, including changing an entire bed for us on request. This is our second visit. Please ignore the bad reviews. This is a lovely hotel.
Just got back from a week at park Eden ,had a great time the hotel is on a hil lovely walk down to the front at Puerto de la Cruz about 20 minutes, felt very safe there even in the evenings with kids out ,walk back is a bit steep but plenty of taxis for just under 5 euro . The hotel was nice a little dated but good sized rooms ,only gripe would be no mini market in the hotel although there are a couple of mini marts a 5 minutes walk away . The staff were nice especially Otto who ran the childrens animation and entertainment,he really made our holiday for us and a lot of other people have said the same ,he was brilliant with the children his aerobics in the pool was definitely an event we looked forward to and he mixed with the guests playing ping pong with us we all had great fun so thankyou Otto Duncan ,Lewis and Llewelyn
We had a wonderful gmfamily holiday Every one was so friendly especially towards my 2 children my eldest made a friend with the entertainer Room was spacious. Room was cleaned evey day with fresh towels Noise was moderate, everyone is away on holiday. Bus rides were available if you wanted to leave property, good value
I thought the entertainment/activities were brilliant the bloke who ran it was really good involves everyone the best he can done really well entertaining my kids . 2 issues. Pool needs regular cleaning from bugs and food needs more of a choice
Location is ok if you don’t mind steep hills, there is No entertainment apart from Dartboard hanging from a tree for one hour during our stay, No music at all the only music playing in the whole week was by my phone so zero entertainment at all the food is repetitive if you like Goat, pork, rabbit. And it’s a very small banquet you probably get more choice with a school dinner. Rooms are out of date with no air-conditioning our room was above the kitchen. So woken up at 4 am with staff banging pots and pans security light flashing on and off in our room open our door and then opposite was the staff room where they were in and out with trolleys at the bottom of our stairs, the kitchen stores so staff was in and out of there we couldn’t keep our door open due to no air-conditioning because of the smells coming from vents hanging out the kitchen windows and smoking area we removed after three days complaining to easyJet to another room which apparently was an upgrade to only find urine stains all over the mattress. You are guaranteed to get a sun Lounger as nobody stayed on site there are no entertainment teams when you check into the hotel it worries you when the reception asks if you stayed here before you say no and they say best of luck then and laugh. Tennis was out of the question as there was a Eden hotel tournaments going on throughout the whole week from morning to evening 95% of all drinks you had to pay for on the all-inclusive. There was little choice. The cocktails were made so strong that it was undrinkable the snack bar states it closes at 9:30 and we were always taking a drink back to our room on the evening and on the last evening they refuses a hot drink saying that it is closed so the all inclusive is not worth what it is they were building Work going on and we were forced to sit in this when they decided to close the pool bar so that was great if you want a alcohol drink with your food you are welcomed with a waiter slamming a drink down on the table I’m walking off with an attitude. During meal times they put lots of bottles of water out trying to push you to drink water on an all inclusive which saves them money talking to other people. They say the same that it was the worst holiday they’ve ever booked and we’re going back to complaining to their companies. We have complained ourselves and got a good partial refund. I’ll book this holiday going on reviews from TripAdvisor, but I believe these cannot all be true because it was a holiday from hell and we want you to return after two days. You have been warned.
We have just returned from 9 days staying at this hotel. Very basic. Rooms are ok, very dated. Hotel grounds are lovely, although limited to some areas due to on going renovations. We paid for half board, breakfast and dinner, (although my teenage sons got told one morning they are only allowed to eat once a day on day 5 of the holiday!). The food was diabolical. Bland, sometimes grey looking. The entire restaurant was in chaos each morning and evening, no real system in place for guests, felt a little like a cattle market! No where to sit as large group (there were 8 of us in total). Tables where geared up for either 2 or 4 people so often, unless we got lucky and found two 4 tables, we all ate separately in groups of 4 or 2!. Now this is the bit that was unreal. My 10 year old daughter is coeliac, quite severely,. Absolutely not geared up for GF AT ALL. Some of the food was GF but cross contamination was a bit problem. When we spoke to the waiter/Manager about this issue, you got a distinct feeling you were being 'problematic'. I think they 'eye roll' from one of the Managers led indeed contributed to that feeling! (Who the hell 'eyes rolls' when you query a severe allergic reaction)! This poor kid pretty much lived off the odd bit of melon, salad leaves, cucumber and basic scraps! Untill I eventually (and mean 'eventually' found a supermarket that sold the basics of GF food so I could cook for her). NOTE: Tenerife as a hole does not cater well for GF, including in the south of Tenerife. We found the a mix bag when it came to the staff. Some where nice, friendly, others, one in particular, and older waiter, shouted at people. Brisk, rude, down right un courteous. Lastly, shower in room 512 on the 5th floods like a bugger if you leave the shower running for more than 2 minutes ( as we discovered) .. oh and on day 8 the sliding patio door handle came off in my hand as I tried to open it! Thus, no more balcony time! On a serious note. If you have a severe allergy I tolorence, then Tenerife, my lovelies is not for you!
We chose this hotel as we wanted a relaxing holiday after a family bereavement, and this hotel looked beautiful and away from the noise of the resort, but close enough to visit regularly. We were very wrong. We had an email before we traveled saying that there was work being completed on the kitchens, but that they would be completed by 30th June, which was the day after we arrived, so didn't worry too much about this. The work was not completed by that date and was not even completed by the time we left. My teenager's had a room which overloooked this work, meaning that they could not use the balcony as it was too noisy. We had the pleasure of being woken up each morning by a large rock breaker, clearing rocks and debris from the rainwater collection channel that runs through the grounds and between the two buildings. This was right outside the window of the restaurant, and meant that we ate our breakfast to the sound of rocks being broken and the incessant beeping of the vehicle. The hotel was described as having 3 pools. These are not all availabel for use by all as the rooftop pool on the 9th floor is actually a nudist pool, accessed via a code from reception. The pool bar on the 5th floor was closed , as ws the bar on the 9th floor and the bar at the pool in the Luz building was open, but did not do any snacks as advertised. The buffet was mediocre. It was mainly the same foods each meal, not much for vegetarians, and not very fresh. I notice that a few people have said they had food poisoning. This does not surprise me at all. The restaurant was dated, (as was the whole hotel) and needed a good clean on the lights and ceiling. The lift felt like it would break down at any minute, was often commandeered by staff to take things up or down floors, and stopping guests from using them. My 78 year old father had to carry his large case up 4 floors as the lift was stopped on the 5th floor by staff. The hallways were like something from the 1970s and a great deal of the grounds were barricaded off due to the work being completed. Whether due to the rennovations or just lack of care, there was not much to do at the hotel. The bars were hit and miss, the bar on the 5th floor of the Luz building closing for functions and expecting guests to move to the other building on the 9th floor, when the grounds are extremely hilly and for those with any mobility issues, this would be difficult. Finally, we were told that the hotel runs a free shuttle bus to the town. Note that this stops all afternoon for siesta and if you get the morning bus down, you will have to wait until after 4pm to return. This made the hotel feel even more isolated as taxis would ramp the price up at this time of day. This could be an amazing hotel, but it's run without care for the guests or the want to be the 4* hotel it claims to be. At the minute I would rate it as a 2*.
We stayed in a 1-bedroom apartment on the 7th floor (located on the reception building), offering fantastic ocean and mountain views. The entire place was spotless. The staff went above and beyond for us. Our flight was delayed, and we arrived just as dinner was ending. The reception team immediately told us to leave our bags and go eat before dealing with check-in or payments. This was incredibly thoughtful and exactly what we needed after a long travel day with a 6-year-old! The hotel grounds are large and green, featuring free mini-golf and lovely pools (we especially enjoyed the one on the 5th floor). The location is also convenient: it's about a 30-minute walk to the city center, or you can easily take the free shuttle or a quick €5-6 taxi ride.
The food was nice and tasty, though we felt the buffet could have been a bit more varied from one day to the next. Overall, a wonderful stay and highly recommended!
Do not eat here - we all had food poisoning and was unwell for 4 out of the 5 nights. Had to attend a medical centre and get antibiotics for bacterial food poisoning. Hotel didn’t really care less and were slightly rude, would only lodge a complaint on my behalf but nothing offered. All inclusive but didn’t use all of it as we got fed up with being sick and needed to be well for the plane home. Food was bland and either often undercooked. Hot food not kept hot, cold food not kept cold and salad left out for hours and hours before meal times. pool and rooms nice. entertainment non existent.
DO NOT COME HERE YOU WILL GET ILL!!! I came here with my girlfriend and daughter for 5 nights which was a complete waste of time and money. We got the all inclusive package which gave all of us severe food poising, we all have severe stomach cramps and diahorrea with vomiting too. The food is absolutely atrocious it’s bland and half of the buffet is salad products. The food is lukewarm and honestly my 5 year old daughter could make better food which wouldn’t get us sick! We spent most of our time in the hotel room as there’s nothing in the location accessible. We complained to the receptionist Maria and not a single care in the world was given, nothing was offered apart from a message passed on to her manager on Monday which is 3 days after our stay. If you want to get Ill and have a miserable time this is the place as there’s no entertainment, drinks are terrible and the food will leave you bed bound. This is not an all inclusive you will be happy with so please stay away for your own health!!!
Nada
Hotel and grounds are big and very well maintained. We had a room on the 1st floor which consisted of a well equipped kitchen, lounge with sofa bed, bathroom with shower and double bedroom. The balcony was large. Exceptionally clean throughout the room and the rest of the hotel. Reception staff extremely helpful and friendly. Huge choice of breakfast which covered all tastes. The hotel is situated approximately a 20 minute walk to the sea, the walk takes longer going back and is quite a challenge as the road is steep. There is a free shuttle bus to and from the town. We hired a car which is 7€ a day to park in the private car park. Would definitely return, very nice hotel.
Acceso a piscina, tennis court.
The room was clean. The staff was nice. The location is good. The breakfast was broad.
We heard a lot of noise in our room, from the restaurant (in the morning) and from the bar (at night). When someone smokes in a near balcony, we smell it inside the room, because the windows have some gaps. When we checked-in, the staff was discussing about something out loud at night.
It was cheap and comfortable enough.
Quite noisy corridors. Breakfast was definitely focussed on bulk catering. We didn’t make use of all the facilities - much of it looked quite tired.
Los jardines
Necesita renovación
Schönes Hotel, feundliche Mitarbeiter, Patkplatz, Shuttle zum Meer, ruhige Umgebung.
Alles gut.
No repito!
Rien
Everything was great clean and tidy, lovely hotel
One life guard was very rude down by the pool other than him all staff was amazing and very helpful
