Comfortable and clean bed was very nice. The bathroom was also clean and had good water pressure

Great accommodations for the reasonable price. Close to restaurants and the airport and ferry terminal. Great Chinese buffet just around the corner. Room was comfortable and very clean. Would definitely stay here again.

Shower in our first room needed maintenance. But they very quickly resolved this issue, provided a new room, and had great customer service throughout.

I loved everything about my stay here. The staff were friendly and very helpful with my registration. The room was beyond my expectations. Clean and fresh and nicely updated. Will come back again.

Completely updated! Room 116 was small, comfortable for just myself. AC was a little noisy but it would have been uncomfortable without it.

It was great to have a kitchenette in the room as I was working early mornings before the cafe was open. The reception staff were really friendly. The housekeeping staff were lovely.

There were no spoons in the kitchen (I went the next day to ask for one and reception and they gave me one) and the dish scrubby provided needed to be changed. I didn’t use it. Otherwise everything was nice.

Floors weren’t overly clean, air conditioner only worked sporadically, no hair dryer, lots of noise late from unit above and outside, staff were struggling with key card programming (multiple times our key card wouldn’t work and we had to get staff to open the door)

Pillows were very disappointing, one definitely needed replacing - it had only 50% of the volume it once had, the stuffing was all clumped up. Shower head was also a pretty bad experience.

Uncleanliness, the bugs coming out of the walls and underneath the bed, the flooring was uneven, the paper thin walls, uncomfortable beds and smelly sheets, the ceiling was falling apart in the bathroom.

Overall very clean, family room had 3 beds, two doubles and a single and a separate room. Aircon was good but quite loud. Free parking and wifi. Staff at checkin and checkout were very nice and helpful.

The Courtenay Greenway walking trail is right there and provides a lovely walking area. Hog and Hen restaurant on the facility is a popular place to buy breakfast with generous portions. Love exploring little shops and facility thrift stores in Courtenay

The kitchen area was shabby. The appliances worked but were only and not too clean looking.

Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Rooms were very clean. It’s also right next to the river walkway which was pleasant to take a stroll long. Fantastic location, close to many good restaurants.

As usual the room was clean and comfy. The location is perfect for my needs. The people are friendly that work there. I like the walk way being rite behind the motel for getting around. Very short walk to town.

Hard to fault a good, solid, one-night stay. A great bonus is being located next to the EXCELLENT Hog & Hen Cafe, and (for a birdwatcher) an easy walk to the Courtenay Airpark salt marsh.

This is being ultra-picky: as a Brit, I always like a kettle and teabags. But I am happy to settle for the decent coffee that was in the room.

The location was fantastic. It was within walking distance to the Ophthalmologist office and right beside an awesome sushi restaurant.

Missing bathtub plug

The bed was super comfy, there was a selection of pillows to choose from, it was clean, and the few staff members I came in contact with were all really friendly. It was in a great location, and I was able to walk to the main strip/downtown area to check out the shops and restaurants.

The people next door were really loud. The hotel can't control this, but I recommend ear plugs if you're a light sleeper.

Very kind staff.

During our 6 nights stay, The staff was very good. Raj was exceptionally helpful and genuinely friendly. We were pleased with our stay at the inn, and the only negative was, for a couple of nights, having 3 dogs running around in the room above ours and disturbing our sleep. We did not regret having booked at this hotel.

Floors and table are quite worn but overall, the room was fine.

I loved the convenience of the area. All the stores etc…The bathtub was so nice. I needed a plug for the tub they came back with one right away. The room was really nice and clean.

The absolutely hard bed. That was so uncomfortable.

There is limited sound proofing and you can hear quite a lot of noise from the other rooms. There is also a lot of noise from the street and people walking by. The furniture was quite worn as well.

Good location between an excellent sushi restaurant and the best breakfast place inside the motel. The room was quit big and clean. The beds were in serious need or replacing. The room over all could use some updating but everything was clean, the shower was nice, and the price was decent. I’d stay again.

The cotton bed linens were great! Towels very clean and new. Bed and pillows very comfortable. Nice new bathroom and very clean, even behind door. Great "bathroom accessories": eg. make-up remover pads, shampoo, etc. Good coffee! Nice flooring. Much better than carpet!

A few things to improve room: fix broken door around doorknob (filler, sand, paint) in Room 228. Sand and paint edge of dresser black to cover scratched edges. Paint brown-stained grout in bathroom- available at Home Depot (this will make it look clean and make it easy to keep clean - I used it on our own bathroom). Perhaps some art to brighten room?
