The room was great. The grocery store nearby was also great.

There was no restaurant. A connected restaurant that use to be part of the hotel but had reverted to independent ownership was very disappointing.

The staff are wonderful and the property is fantastic. Very clean, has all the necessities, and great location.

Goede locatie, mooie kamer met goede uitgebreide kitchenette. Lekkere koffie in de hal gratis te pakken Fijn gebruik van de gratis wasmachine en droger en wasmiddel , kwam heel goed uit.

Onze kamer zat vlakbij de zijdeur die veelvuldig gebruikt werd en die je dus goed kon horen klappen

The upgrade to a 2 bedroom suite was wonderful. Suite was spacious and well equipped with comfortable beds.

Could have used a proper coffee maker or Kuerig rather than an espresso pod machine. Had to go to the lobby to get coffee. Noise from traffic on the nearby bridge was disturbing.

The suite was comfortable, and it was nice to have coffee in the morning not too fsr away.

Our key card didn't work three times, lots of travel to and from the front desk. Also the numbering system needs help We were looking for a 4 digit room and found only three digit rooms.

Seamless check in

The room we had was great, so big and great that it had a kitchenette and balcony. It was spotlessly clean with nice white fluffy towels. The staff were lovely and there were nice little touches like water, apples and cookies every day in the foyer. Plus it had the added bonus of an outdoor swimming pool.

Das Badezimmer war zwar sehr klein, aber dafür sehr sauber - keinerlei Schimmel Wir haben auf die Suite upgegraded - es gab eine Waschmaschine und Trockner im Zimmer und eine Küche im Schlaf-Wohnzimmer. Gratis Tee und Cookies in der Lobby

Suite bedeutet 2 Zimmer - allerdings nur 1 Schlafzimmer mit echtem Bett und ein Wohnzimmer mit Ausziehcouch. Die Couch war nicht besonders bequem. Generell war wenig Platz um seine Koffer geöffnet liegen zu lassen. Im Schlafzimmer war es überhaupt nur möglich einen Koffer im schmalen Durchgang zum Badezimmer geöffnet liegen zu lassen. Für 4 Personen mit je einen Koffer eher mühsam.

Sehr gutes Hotel. Zuerst wurde uns ein Zimmer direkt am Pool gegeben. Auf Nachfrage haben wir ein rührigeres Zimmer erhalten. Gute Ausstattung und Lage

I enjoyed the resort along with two girls friends for 4 nites. Everything was clean and comfortable. We were treated really well with 24 hour access to specialty coffees, afternoon cookies and breakfast apples. There are many beautiful parks in the area with easy trails and fabulous nature scenery. We enjoyed the spa on our last day and were treated like queens. It was definitely everything we expected and more.

I appreciated the EV charger, comfortable bed and couch, well-stocked kitchen, and dining at Locals Restaurant on-site. The room itself was comfortable and spacious after I was moved to a one-bedroom suite with a full kitchen. However, the room I originally booked was advertised as having a kitchenette and displayed a pot-and-pan icon, which led me to expect basic cooking facilities. Instead, it contained only a microwave, mini-fridge, and dishes. I also found the “riverside” room description misleading. My room was tucked into the trees with very limited natural light and no meaningful river view. When booking, there did not seem to be a way to distinguish between rooms with actual river views and rooms facing trees on the river's edge, or my original room which was "riverside" but only had a river view by leaning over the balcony edge and looking around the corner of the building. The pool area was shaded by early evening, and the combination of trees, shade, and bugs made the outdoor spaces including the balcony and riverside walk less enjoyable than expected. Overall, the suite was comfortable, but I feel the room descriptions should be more transparent to allow more accurate comparisons when booking.

Very convenient for our travel. It was great to have a kitchen where we cooked our dinner and breakfast, and the dishwasher was welcomed. We made good use of the laundry facilities and the provided soap and dryer sheets were appreciated. We enjoyed the nespresso coffee maker and appreciated the cream provided in the fridge. The room was impeccably clean. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful, well maintained hotel and grounds. Our room exceeded our expectations in every way. Pet friendly with a beautiful riverside pathway for morning and evening walks.

It is very clean, comfortable and reasonably priced. Bonus was the latte machine and water cooler in the lobby. Also located next to the water and a lovely paved walkway.

A beautiful suite with everything I could want, plus some stuff I didn't think to want! The in-suite coffee is just meh, but there's a complimentary robotic barista in the front lobby with out-of-this-world GREAT coffee.

A gem of a hotel, we were comfortable and enjoyed the amenities of the inn room fridge and kitchen, hot tub after long days of exploring, and the free coffee was solid.

Payment was not simplified.

We loved the proximity to the estuary. Our suite was comfortable and pleasant with a lovely garden view towards the original old house.

Located on the river and beside a historical house. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was very very nice and the bed was comfy. Highly recommend staying here. Close to all amenities.

Pool and exercise room are great. It is on the walking path by the river so great walking area.

Because it was on the path, there was a mentally challenged man on that path who was screaming at 2-3 am and woke us up...three times.

This hotel and room was exactly what we were looking for. Had a great view of the river and overlooked the pool & hot tub. Room was very clean and comfortable. Large screen TV and the bath tub was to die for!

We only stayed one night due to flights. It was an excellent experience. From the gentleman who checked us in to the lady who checked us out, everything was first class. In the room we had with our puppy, they gave us a "puppy welcome gift," which was a nice, unexpected touch, and the room was extremely clean and large. It even had 2 balconies. They suggested the restaurant Locals, which is beside the property, and we had a very enjoyable dinner that evening. Book this hotel for an overnight stay or even a longer stay if you are visiting the area.

The location is central. Nice walking path close by.

The mattresses are old and need to be replaced. There is. I service or change of towels unless you request. Had to ask the front desk for more toilet paper.

The hotel was communicative before check in, accommodated our changes, and was flexible and friendly with everything we needed.

Great location on the estuary. Kitchen and laundry facilities in the room are great. Having a spa in the hotel is a great plus!

The location was great - we had a river view room. Our room was cozy and had everything we needed (kitchen equipped with the appliances, dishware, and cookware). The hotel was clean and the staff were very welcoming. We stayed for two nights and took advantage of our stay - had a massage at the spa, relaxed in the outdoor hot tub, and enjoyed the coffee and fresh cookies in the lobby. Can't wait to return in the future!

The room was absolutely beautiful. I loved the suite and the pool. Super comfortable bed and very clean room.

I felt like they need more than one staff member working the front desk throughout the day. For check-in and check out I had to wait a very long time while the concierge was on the phone. Not the staff member's fault, but it was a long time! That's my only complaint.

The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. We appreciated the location so near to our evening event, and it was great to have secured underground parking. The staff were friendly and helpful.

There was some confusion about arrival time and whether arriving early attracts an additional $15 charge. Upon review of our bill, we realized we were double billed for arriving an hour early. Old House was very good about explaining their policy and refunding the second early arrival charge.

My husband and I just spent a couple days at the old house and it was lovely. The front desk staff were friendly and professional. We were greeted by Heli and she was very pleasant. Our suite was more than we expected and lovely. We also met Katherine at the front desk and she was also kind, and cordial. We will try to make it back as this was a wonderful stay

We stayed in a 1 bedroom suite and it was very quiet and comfortable, with a well equipped kitchen. Bonus having a washer/dryer in the unit. Excellent location on the river.

Very comfortable suite with lovely design, comfortable bed and nice little kitchen and living room. Convenient location. Only draw back was the field across the way (out of hotel's control) has just been fertilized so the outside space wasn't quite as enjoyable as it would be in other weeks).

Always a solid experience - staff are very welcoming. There is always fresh coffee and cookies at the door. I'm sure the gym would be excellent if there had been time to use. Rooms are always clean and presentable. Personally the bed is far too soft for my liking... my only complaint!

Very nice to have a suite with separate bedroom. We enjoy cooking our our meals and doing laundry when we need to. There was some noise from the piledriving happening on the river right out our windows, but wasn't overnight so didn't really effect our stay. It's a walk outside to get to the hot tub/pool if your staying at the Maple building so a bit inconvenient when it was raining.

Look, the hotel is gorgeous. The staff are amazing. However, I booked a room that was roughly $400 a night based solely on the pictures I was shown of the room when I was booking it. Upon arrival to the room, it was not what I was shown. It was still nice, I could knit pick (Painters were horrible, paint on the floor/carpet, didn't cut in, ect) but objectively it was a nice room. It just wasn't the room I was shown, and therefore was not the room I agreed to pay $400 a night for. This is alot of money for me and my family. We work hard and have a very small amount of time (and money) to give ourselves a break from the world for a couple days each year. These two or three days are meaningful. They're all we're able to give each other and when we feel like our dollars are mishandled, it hits hard. I do not for one second think The Old House is intentionally misrepresenting their rooms. They're proud of their rooms, and they should be. Again, objectively gorgeous rooms. But, they still should have a responsibility to accurately represent the rooms they're booking. This isn't rocket science, nor do I think is this too much to ask for from a multi-million dollar enterprise. I will never stay there again, because I have no way of knowing what I'm booking from afar.

The front desk lady was absolutely amazing! She went above and beyond for us! Made our Christmas possible!! I will recommend your hotel for the rest of my life just becusse of her!! Don't ever loose a employee like that it's people like her who make or break a buisness and with her in your head office you go from just another average Joe blow hotel too excellent service and a place I will highly recommend for the rest of my life!

There wasn't anything not too like the staff alone made it impossible too even notice anything that we might not have liked! From the night time man in the stock room who lent us scissors so could get some last minute wrapping done. Too the lady at the front desk who issued us another card when we locked ourselves out of the room... Too the lady who made it all possible too begin with! (She knows who she is) and I hope she gets too see this! She also sent us off with complimentary cookies that wernt even put out yet becuzse it was too early! You know what I realized when your surrounded by the right people the rest doesnt really matter! And the Old House definitely has all the right people dont change a thing! 🥰 10 star service!

Visited the old house hotel from. Dec 24-26 and stayed in the one bedroom apartment. It felt so cozy and homey for Christmas. We made a nice Christmas dinner, enjoyed the fireplace and movies on the TV. Bed was soo comfortable, and the whole ambience of the hotel was relaxing. We were absolutely blown away. Really enjoyed the hot tub and heated pool as well. We may have to make this an annual trip!
