Check in lady really nice and motel itself was pretty clean.

Well seeing there is multiple fees and extra taxes and then add the 23 bucks to park which didn't use parking garage I was surprised instead of room costing maybe 155? Was 215. The area was not good did not feel safe outside at night online pictures does not reflect what it looks like lol.

I’m a swimmer, which is why I booked at this particular location. However the pool opens at 0900, not a big deal, but it didn’t open at 0900. It was more like 0905. Then once I went in the area they entire area was in disarray, there were towels and chairs all over the place. Once I got in the pool the water was so clouded you can barely see in front of you. My normal 45min workout was reduced to 20-30mins. That was disappointing.

The location near the airport with the excellent Tops Diner nearby.

Es gab ausreichend kostenlose Parkplätze vor dem Hotel. Ruhige Lage und gepflegter Außenbereich. Zimmer waren standard. Das Personal an der Rezeption war freundlich.

Das Personal der Küche war unfreundlich und unfähig. Ich trank 3 Kaffee und jedes Mal fehlte etwas an der Kaffee Bar - Milch, Becher, Kaffee... Dafür war der Bereich auch Stunden nach dem Frühstück noch immer verdreckt vom Frühstück. Der Pool war einer der Gründe das Hotel gebucht zu haben. Es war jedoch ekelhaft. Der Poolbereich selbst war dreckig, die Liegen waren verschmutzt und das Wasser im Pool wurde seit Ewigkeiten nicht gewechselt. Es war mächtig und stank nach Chemikalien. Wirklich enttäuschend.

A few old appliances and equipments that need possible update. The tap kept flowing together with shower even when switched to shower only. Not sure how the AC was working as it randomly goes off.

El desayuno es pobre y la que se encarga de rellenar no era tan amable También me quedé esperando que limpiaran mi habitación aunque fuera 1 vez en esas 5 noches que me quede y no la limpiaron ,pregunte varias veces y me decían que sii y el último dia fuy por bolsas para sacar yo misma la vasura y le pregunte y me dijo que ella me renia en su lista y le dije que para que iban a ir si ya en unas horas yo me iba . Para comer durante el dia solo hay un Popeye enfrente y puedes ordenar por uber eat Tampoco hay tiendas cerca para ir caminando. Digo que estuve bien para lo que me quede que fue para llevar a mi hija a un concierto.

We lost power at 1am. Rooms got very warm. We were on the 5th floor and had to ask for assistance for luggage because the elevators were not working. We didn't not receive our continental breakfast. And we're not compensated for any of the above, we were still charged full rate.

The bed was comfortable.

The water view is actually a dirty river. There was trash all in the river. When I talked to the staff about this, they said what do you expect. This is NJ River. There was not enough parking. But yet they charge for daily parking.

The ac in the lobby wasn’t working so it was extremely uncomfortable when downstairs. Even in the breakfast area. Also in the gym.

This place is a DUMP! Elevators broken, had to walk up and down 6 flights of stairs with luggage. Facility is in terrible shape, AC in my room not working in JULY. Right next to a train tressel, NOISY!!! Facility is dirty, run down, terrible neighborhood. STAY AWAY!!!!

Terrible parking, they make you park several blocks away in a community lot and move your car before 6 am to prevent being towed. Security yells at you instead of helping. Save your money and go somewhere else

Staff was very welcoming. The location was good - not a long drive to EWR.

Outdated facilities, basically the entire place needs renovation.

The staff was not pleasant, accused us of having a party at 4am when the 2 people in the room were sleeping. Because of fifa they raised the security deposit from $75 to $100 a night within a week. The breakfast was prob the only enjoyable thing. Bathroom was not cleaned. Moldy shower head and the shower floor was black. This is my 2nd time staying here and won’t be here again.

NothingI didn't like anything because they told me I didn't have a reservation and the reservation number I gave them didn't work.And I had to go find a new hotel in the middle of the night , and I end up saying at the motel six , the nasty place down the road , thanks so much and they charged me for it.

So now I'm having to go to my bank and my bank is gonna stop the payment. Because you guys got confused. Maybe I got confused but you know what I called and was told I didn't have a reservation and I was told that the place was double and triple booked and I needed to find a new place to stay. Thank you so much for ruining an already emotional trip to bury my father.. the pictures I submitted were from the hotel 6I had to stay at down the road.Thank you so much for putting me in this position.

I booked and paid for this hotel and then took a 30 minute Uber to the hotel after my flight was cancelled. The reception said the hotel was overbooked, was rude and tried to claim that it was Booking's fault. They don't reply to any of my requests for a refund and still have not refunded me. There were others in the reception in the same situation.

The space in the room was good. The location was close to public transportation. Staff was nice and helpful.

Hotel is new and clean, good staff and facilities are in good shape. What I expect from a Hampton.

Location is kind of weak. Grocery nearby and great diner up the road. But it’s a good 15-20 min to the Path station of foot. If you’re going to be going to Manhattan a lot, you might want something closer to transit.

Upon arriving at the property our room was not ready but was shortly thereafter. The staff waived our parking fee for the wait. Very professional front desk staff, bar tender and housekeeping.

I am very disappointed with my experience at Hampton Inn & Suites Newark-Harrison-Riverwalk. I specifically booked and paid for a 2 Queen Bed Studio Suite with Water View because I was traveling with my family, including my autistic son, and needed the additional space, suite layout, water view, and queen-size beds advertised in the reservation. Upon arrival, I was assigned a much smaller room with two double beds that did not match the room description I had booked and paid for. At check-in, I specifically asked whether the room assigned to me was the water-view room included in my reservation and was told that it was. However, when I entered the room, I immediately realized that it was not the suite I had reserved. I returned to the front desk to discuss the issue and was informed that a room matching my reservation would become available the following day. I was told that a note had been added to my file for a room change. However, later that evening, when I checked with the night staff to confirm the arrangement, I was informed that no room change would be possible. The following day, management confirmed that the suite described in my reservation would not be available during my stay. This was extremely frustrating because I specifically chose this hotel based on the room advertised and even cancelled another Hampton Inn reservation in Staten Island to stay here because it was closer to the stadium and offered a larger suite better suited to my family's needs. To make matters worse, at approximately 6:00 a.m. on Sunday morning, after a long and exhausting day attending a soccer match, we were abruptly awakened by a phone call from the front desk regarding a reported noise complaint. Being awakened in this manner caused panic and stress for my family, especially for my autistic son, who was startled and distressed by the call.

Nos robaron regalos, todo estuvo bien hasta que hicieron la limpieza de el cuarto, y se robaron algunos pequeños regalos que traíamos para la familia, todo estaba en la bolsa de la tienda lo checando una noche antes y desaparecieron de la bolsa!! El día de mañana levantaré mi queja con la gerencia, ya que todos fueron muy amables pero ese detalle no es justo…
