Beautiful location. Authentic lodge feeling.

Breakfast was okay. Wish there had been some sausage to help with all the sweetness (pastries). There was a variety to choose from though.

Location was horrible for visiting the park. A whole hour away. The town closest to the lodge did not have many things to do or restaurants. The drinks we did purchase at the lodge were horrible. The bartender said he could make a pino-colada and it had a terrible taste as it did not have proper ingredients. Toilet in our room did not flush as it should and we reported it, but was not dealt with. Surprised people were not more friendly.

Beautiful location, close to outdoor activities. The beds and bedding were amazing. Large rooms with seating.

The location, the mood. We loved the reception area, it was charming and comfortable. We really really appreciated that the room was cleaned every single day!

Great location at the base of Whitefish Mtn, studio room was spacious and clean, comfortable queen bed, good shower. Beautiful large hot tub for post hiking was great to have. Breakfast was plentiful, and enough options to get the day going as early as 630am, hard boiled eggs, cheese, meats, breads, yogurt etc and good coffee. 50 mins (or so) to Apgar at Glacier national park, not super close, but not many places are. The onsite restaurant has a Wagyu burger that was excellent and available from the small bar for a less formal dining experience.

Nothing really, for the area it was reasonable and seemed like an upgrade vs chain hotels for sure.

Staff was nice throughout

First morning, of 2, shower, did not work properly and was barely able yo shower. Had to go out early so couldn't wait for repair. Staff fixed while we had breakfast but too late. One of light fixtures also didnt shut off properly. Had to unscrew bulb to shut off. After returning to room first day, bed was made but very little else was done. Toilet was unflushed.

Great atmosphere, location and breakfast!

Beautiful property in a good location. The lodge had everything we needed for our stay. Our room was spacious and comfortable. We enjoyed the hot tub every night after long days of hiking and sightseeing. Bonus of having a breakfast every morning in lobby. We liked staying away from town but had the free snow shuttle when going to and from Whitefish. Great place !!

חדר עם גלריה, תחושה מרווחת אך הציוד כל כך ישן. הצוות במקום מודה בפה מלא שהמלון הוקם לפני יותר מ40 שנים ולא נעשה במקום שיפוץ מאז. לפיכך ליוו אותנו המון תקלות, במיזוג, הפסקת חשמל שדרשה העברת חדר. ראוי לציין שהכל טופל במהירות יחסית. המיקום הוא על ההר, מרחק 15 דק׳ נסיעה מהעיירה. אין מסעדות מסביב, מעבר למסעדת המלון בערב, שהיתה טעימה מאד אך גם יקרה מאד. ארוחת הבוקר במלון הייתה טובה. מתקני כביסה טובים. חדר כושר נחמד.

היו לנו מעט אינטראקציות עימה, אך פקידת הקבלה קלי הייתה נוראית, צל של חיוך לא עבר על פניה כשרק הגענו לעת ערב או כששאלנו שאלה במהלך השהות. התחושה בפניה אליה, היא מאד לא נעימה. ראוי לציין ששאר הצוות היה מסביר פנים במיוחד ארון.

Nice staff, clean

2 60+ YO people, no elevator, trudged luggage up 3 floors. Restaurant closed. 2 beds but one in loft with sketchy stairs to climb.

I liked the location.

For the cost of a nights stay it extremely falls short of adequate. The rooms are small, nothing special, not even a table. Not even a hot breakfast! For this price I would expect a hot buffet breakfast with eggs, sausages, bacon, pancakes…. Was none of that! The lodge we stayed at prior to this one had snacks and beverages out for the taking, 24/7. Here they only set out lemonade till 5:00. I would not stay here again, too spendy for what you get!!

Room was a bit dated, but comfortable. Restaurant was good. Free breakfast was nice. Access to a washer and dryer was very helpful. Charming lodge...didn't go to little bar off the living room, but it was cute. Hot tub seemed well-maintained, clean. Nice vibe at this place.

LOVED this stay. The hotel is beautiful, the room was large, and the staff is exceptional.

The rooms are very warm in summer - we opened up the window and that helped.

This was a very "homey" hotel. The room was so cute and the hotel was really beautiful. The bed was comfy and the accommodates were good. The hotel seemed very well taken care of. The staff was very friendly. They had a good grab and go breakfast! The downstairs lobby area was beautiful, with a very nice area to sit and relax in with a fire place.

It was a bit further from Glacier National Park than I thought it would be. I spent time in relaxing in the lobby one evening but unfortunately, the noise coming from the bar area was very loud!

Beautiful lodge, stone fireplace and lots of comfortable seating in common area. Room was clean & comfortable. Nestled in the woods, very cozy.

Expensive and off the beaten track for Glacier National Park. Close to ski area but we were traveling in the summer.

Comfortable bed - if not a little noisy as it required tightening - the snug bar and the barman were welcoming and entertaining

It was quite a distance from Whitefish and we were not informed on our booking that the restaurant was closed on Tuesdays - there was also nowhere around to eat so we had to drive 8KM’s back into town to find a restaurant. In addition, the lady who checked us in was very unhelpful and indeed condescending when asked for assistance or recommendations. I am sure the whole situation is different during the ski season, but not great for the time of our stay.

Felt like a warm cozy cabin. Fireplace was going warm and Aaron the main guy was personable and friendly.

Absolutely loved the atmosphere - friendly, mountain lodge with perfect location at a great price for a long ski weekend. The staff were all super nice and the lobby/fireplace area was very cozy.

Wonderful, remote location. A quick drive to town, but away from it all. Convenient to have breakfast included. Several good options. Also nice to have a restaurant and a little pub onsite. Beautiful landscaping around the premises.

There’s no elevator and all the guest rooms are upstairs. We didn’t mind, but it would be difficult for someone with mobility issues.

Everything about Kandahar was perfect! The people, the room, the restaurant. It felt exactly as a mountain lodge should feel. I am already hoping to come back next year in the winter!

There was nothing that I did not like.

The outdoor hot tub was a hit for our family especially after a long day of travelling, and there was a complimentary washer and dryer that the guests could use. The staff were extremely friendly and the whole lodge was clean.

Very unique lodge close to the ski resort that was very quiet. Loved all the wood work throughout the lodge. Breakfast was simple but nice.

Fitness center was jam packed with old and broken equipment. Very outdated and possibly even dangerous. Looked like a giant storage room of old equipment people got rid of out of their homes. Property is a little dated and could use some makeover.

The Staff was wonderful. They jumped right in and helped carry our bags upstairs to our room!! Never had service like that before! The lobby was so cozy with the fire going. Very relaxing.

Great staff. Ski in and ski out was a nice treat. Hot cocoa, popcorn and cookie “happy hour” was great. TJ the bartender at the onsite bar was charming.

No coffee maker in the room. I went to the front desk and said that I had a microwave and refrigerator and plates but no mugs or coffee maker and she said the general manager said hotels are now removing coffee makers because people don’t use them. I stay in hotels of all price points over 20 times a year for both skiing and business and have never not had a coffee maker! She said the could bring one up. Every high end hotel I have stayed in lately has a variety of coffees and tea in the room. At this price point, I would expect that.

This lodge is truly ski in ski out - what a treat. The staff are so accommodating and kind. It feels like a family style lodge from a bygone era. Families are hanging out in the common areas, playing games or reading by the fire. The cookie, popcorn and hot chocolate "happy hour" was anticipated every day. The breakfast is hearty and the coffee plentiful. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

The only thing that was an issue for us, and this has nothing to do with the hotel, is there are limited dining options in the tiny ski resort village. We were there between Christmas and New Year and there were only two restaurants to choose from (other than the hotel restaurant which is very expensive). Just something to plan around.

Very cosy and pleasant lodge - true mountain feel. Shuttle to slopes on demand and hot tub are a huge plus.

Veel te kleine ontbijtruimte: slechts 5 tafeltjes. Geen enkel aardig personeelslid ontmoet. Geen lift aanwezig. Restaurant is heel erg duur. Op de kamer is een keukenblok aanwezig, echter geen glazen, bestek of koffieapparaat.

The staff couldn’t have been nicer and I loved this property! I will definitely be back with the entire family next time!

An older but comfy resort lodge.

Not the best location for making an early arrival to Glacier National Park. The staff was a mixed bag. The bartender was super friendly and helpful, the front desk person not so much. Expected the location to be much more scenic than it was.

This was the highlight lodging in a 10 day road trip. Beautiful view, friendly and helpful staff. Cozy, warm atmosphere. It felt like being at home with friends. Close enough to Glacier national park that we hiked 2 days instead of 1. Will definitely be back to ski in winter!!

Front desk staff was very friendly. But the spacious living room with well worn leather chairs and fireplace were the highlight of our stay!

As an elderly couple checking in to a hotel that we have paid over $200 to stay we would expect an elevator to get us to our floor but no we had to use stairs. The front desk person was kind enough to carry our luggage to our room. The room he assigned us to had a horrible smell to it. I could not stay there so I walked down to stairs to request another room. He gave us another room and it did not smell. As we settled in to sleep there was a strange loud humming that continued for a couple of hours. Then a drumming noise started after that. At 3 am we decided to get up and leave the hotel. My husband was going to take a quick shower to wake him and the tub/shower faucet did not work. We just got dressed and left. Of course he had to carry our luggage down the stairs. It definitely not what we were expecting.

The hotel had only 1 handicap parking space & 1 handicap room. No elevator for the 3 floors of hotel. Only 1 ice machine on the lobby floor which was down 49 steps and back up 49 steps to a third floor room. The hallways and entrances on the floors were not clean and the Wellness area was only clean in the restrooms & hot tub area. The breakfast offered was in a nook area and difficult for guests to move through.

Love our stay here! It had character. Had the fireplace going everyday! Big sitting area downstairs . The carpet could be update! Looked dirty but rooms were nice and clean.

Great stay! Staff was very nice, and we really liked how easy it was to catch the bus to downtown Whitefish. The property is an older property, but it was clean and well maintained. Would stay there again!

Everything was fabulous! Very welcoming staff, large but cozy lobby with fireplace, loved the food & special huckleberry coulis, roomy & quiet accommodations with a/c too, had everything we needed & more! Would definitely stay here again.

The resort is in a great location. The staff were very friendly and accommodating.

Knowing it is used as a ski resort, the traveling up the mountain was a bit of a drive.

Our room was outdated. The carpet was buckled, and very old. We had to ask for a coffee pot, and coffee. This room was overpriced for the condition it was in. The staff was fantastic!

Chairs and living space inside room made the room livable. Room was quit, beds and linens high quality and comfortable.

Two queen sized beds in ro would have been better served with one king. Had to sleep in separate beds because otherwise only one exit through bottom of bed instead of side exit to get up in the middle of the night.

Loft could not be cooled AC works but the upper loft where the beds was extremely warm. They should put a second AC unit in the upper level of the room.

Property was beautiful, well maintained but no elevators and lot of steps to climb up and down.

We loved the room and the property. My issue is with management. I was in the hot tub area and sat in a chair out there and it collapsed on me. It tore into my back and elbow and I needed bandaids the rest of my stay to not get blood on the sheets. I hand bruises all over too. Management never once asked if I was ok or even asked me anything. They replaced the rest of the chairs out there so they know it happened. Otherwise the bed and room were great. It's crazy a plane as nice as this can't get good chairs that can support someone.
