Das Gym ist direkt neben den Waschmaschinen und extrem bescheiden ausgestattet, es gibt keine Hanteln. Das Check-In hat 30min gedauert(!)

The room was big, quiet and comfortable, and the location was excellent — just a few minutes’ walk from the Bund. Very convenient for exploring Shanghai.

Unfortunately, we had massive issues with the hotel Wi-Fi. It only worked with ExpressVPN turned off, which wasn’t great for keeping your data secure while traveling.

Hotel con un’ottima posizione rispetto al centro, un po’ datato nell’arredamento, camere abbastanza spaziose, colazione ottima anche per noi europei

Se proprio devo trovare qualcosa potrei dire che per essere una struttura a 5 stelle non ha il servizio in camera. abbiamo chiesto la colazione ad un orario diverso da quello di inizio e non avendo appunto il sevizio in camera non ce l’hanno fatta avere.

Quiet location yet central. My room was spacious and the bed comfortable.

The staff wasn’t kind and when i asked for help with the wifi -which didn’t work- they treated me rudely.

Ubicación perfecta, cerca de The Bund y de la calle principal, habitaciones grandes modernas, limpieza, el hotel muy bien la verdad.

Teníamos un precio por booking, al llegar me dijeron que no tenían una de las dos habitaciones reservadas, que podían darme otra con mejores vistas pero nos hicieron pagar un extra cuando fue culpa de ellos, por eso les doy sólo un 5 y he puesto una reclamación.

非常良好的地點，距離外灘、步行街、捷運等處皆十分便利，歷史悠久的老建物卻仍然十分舒適安靜，住一晚有歷史感的老飯店非常值得。

El Metropolo en Shanghái es un hotel fabuloso. La atención de su personal es exquisita en todo momento. La habitación muy bien equipada y con vistas maravillosas. La cama muy cómoda y el baño completo. Hemos estado muy a gusto los días hospedados. Destacar el excelente desayuno con opciones tanto orientales como occidentales. Es de agradecer que así sea. El Metropolo es un hotel totalmente recomendable, y está a escasos pasos del Bund y del centro de los rascacielos. No dudes nunca en reservar en este hotel.

Las cortinas podrían tapar mejor la entrada de luz de las ventanas.

Отель старый и требует капитального ремонта, номера выглядят плохо и неухоженно, в силу изношенность мебели , спертый запах , плохо работает кондиционер, в номерах душно. Не говорят на английском на ресепшине

The best localisation to see the Bund just one street away. Nice building from outside. Nice staff. Big rooms

Breakfast wasnt be the best. Cant use elevator for higher floors so had to use stairs which were very hot to visit rest of family in other rooms.

The location is outstanding, right in the middle of everything I wanted to do. The staff were friendly and very helpful, and their English was excellent. I'm really glad I chose this hotel.

It is not sound proof. And the room is not big conspiring to some other hotels close by. The price is good, I do admit.

The photos made it look as if there’s a roof terrace but in fact it’s just one room that has views. I found that a bit misleading and should be clarified.

This is the second accommodation I had in Shanghai and I can do a very good comparison. Location wise, is very close to the turistic area with shops and the bund

The hotel itself is just average for the paid price. The room was worn out, the window was not closing properly so you are able to hear what’s happening on the street and also the floor was not the cleanest.

The location, the old vibes of the hotel, stepping back to a bygone era. Very clean large unusual rooms, good breakfast, comfortable. But definitely not a new era hotel.

No I liked this hotel but I could see some people thinking it was ancient. Not a modern style hotel.

I had a wonderful stay at this art deco hotel, with gorgeous décor and is clean and beautifully presented throughout. My room was spacious, with a large window overlooking the intersection, and I enjoyed the breakfast options each morning. The staff really stood out, always offering a warm welcome, opening doors, pressing the lift button, and the doorman even carried our bags up and down the front steps. Laundry facilities are conveniently located in the basement for a small fee, which is great when you are travelling for a longer period of time.

Excellent location, friendly and helpful staff, comfortable room, good selection breakfast including vegetarian options.

No hooks in bathroom, very minor issue! All hot items for breakfast were cold , even 1st thing 7am. This was for our 3 night stay.

There was some confusion with the breakfast buffet where they believed we had only booked for one person. But it was easily resolved.

가격대비 방 크기가 커서 캐리어에서 짐 꺼내고 넣기가 아주 좋았습니다. 위치도 주요 관광지와 가까워서 도보로 다니기에 좋았어요.

L emplacement : à 5 mn du bund et à 10 mn du métro le plus proche. La chambre est très bien insonorisée.

Le petit déjeuné très asiatique. La partie occidentale n est pas bonne. La personne qui demande le numéro de la chambre pour accéder au petit déjeuné n est pas du tout agréable. Le bruit des portes qui claquent.

위치도 좋고, 와이탄 야경보러가기 가깝고 인근에 식당도 제법 있고, 숙소자체도 좋았어요

내가 뽑기운이 조금 별로였던건지 모든방이 다그런건지 모르겠지만 내가 묶었던 방 뷰는 별로였어요

удобное расположение, приятный персонал, номер просторный, чистый, в номере есть утюг, гладильная доска, что очень удобно. Кондиционер хороший, много окон. В ресторане вкусно и разнообразно подают завтрак. До станции E Nanjing Rd минут 10-15 неспешным шагом. Набережная - 5 минут. Все достопримечательности обошли пешком, но мы много ходим.

Карта РФ union pay не работала, пришлось платить наличкой. У ребенка было день рождение в день заселения попросила поздравить(фрукты или кусочек тортика для настроения), в момент пообещали, по факту ничего. Не критично, но это говорит о гостеприимстве и уровне сервиса отеля

Это отель 30 годов и мы жили в люксе и в люксе с балконом, вот этот старинный шик, почти актикварная мебель и нам все понравилось. Очень удачное расположение и вкусные разнообразные завтраки

Долго нас мурыжил персонал, придумывал, выдумывал. Это сильно подпортило впечатление.

Местоположение супер, набережная и главная туристическая улица в шаговой доступности. От метро немного отдален, но идти минут 10-15. Вечером ждал сюрприз в номере в честь дня рождения, приятно. Молодцы.

Вид из окна, на стройку. Есть моменты, которые хотелось бы улучшить, но впечатление о городе стирает все.

Lovely old building with 30's charm. Very close to the bund 3 mins walk but far enough away from the very bust tourist area to remain calm and quiet. Very helpful staff.

TV was all in Chinese so an English language TV channel would be nice

Great location, close to the city centre and some of the attractions.

Not all the stuff members could speak English which definitely caused some troubles in understanding each other. We booked a taxi via the hotel to the Shanghai Disneyland requesting for the official city taxi however the hotel arranged taxi which was not the city and asked for the fixed payment which exceeded the fee estimate of DiDi and we guess the rates of the city taxi as well.

The location of the hotel is really perfect. Within just 2 minutes you are at the Bund or the main shopping street – everything is within easy reach. It makes the hotel a great choice for exploring Shanghai comfortably. The rooms were overall okay, and the location was definitely the highlight of our stay.

There is some room for improvement regarding the breakfast. The selection was rather limited and the coffee was unfortunately not very good. The biggest issue, however, was the language barrier. The staff at the reception barely speak English, which sometimes led to communication difficulties.
