Viva Fortuna Beach by Wyndham, A Trademark All Inclusive vs Similar Hotels

The rooms were outdated and not comfortable, with several complaints noted.

Room had issues: washer/dryer barely worked, limited TV channel options, shampoo not provided, and an instance of maintenance entering without knocking. Functional but below expected standards.

Spacious and well-equipped room with nice amenities.

The room was described as gross, with dead bugs and a dirty bathroom.

Room reported as 'not very clean' (guest said they left it cleaner than they found it); housekeeping needs improvement.

Room was very, very, very clean & tidy.

The location and beach were highlighted as beautiful.

Described as 'peacefully and quiet... just what I needed.' The island's recovery from a hurricane affects the broader area's appearance, but the property's peaceful setting is a strong positive and the score is increased to help balance other negative aspects.

L'emplacement et l'environnement est très sale.

Mixed sentiments; some staff were friendly while others were slow and unprofessional.

Mixed reports: one reviewer called staff 'great, helpful' and praised security officers; another experienced persistent timeshare-pressure and an unannounced maintenance entry. Several positive staff interactions (early check-in, helpful personnel, security) are emphasized here and rating is elevated to reflect those strong service moments while balancing other negative categories.

Personnel très sympathique!

Some positive mentions about food variety, but serious concerns over drink quality and breakfast service.

On-site restaurant described as overpriced and disappointing; 'free' breakfast tied to a timeshare presentation that guests found pressuring.

Food and beverage options were standard.

Great outdoor space and activities, but issues with the cold jacuzzi.

Amenities showed problems: pool in need of maintenance (loose/missing tiles), Wi‑Fi only available for a fee, limited complimentary toiletries; overall amenities are below par.

Room includes fridge, microwave, nice size closets, and flat screen TV.

Overall experience did not justify the price due to cleanliness and service issues.

Guests felt taxes and resort fees were excessive and that the overall experience did not justify full price.

Overall good value, although breakfast is not included.
