It was ok hotel, the beds were alright and rooms where large.

The air conditioning was loud, it was especially annoying during the night. Breakfast was not good. It had eggs but nothing fresh like cheese, tomatoes or other vegetables. Bread was not fresh (just cheap sandwich bread). And floors were not cleaned for the whole stay (5 nights).

Hotel was centrally located in downtown. Parking was an issue. Said it was free when I reserved but they popped me for $45 a night to park. Not a fan. As much as they charged over what they normally do, parking should have been included. The lady that checked us in was not the most polite. Shift change the next lady was very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was very good. Folks in the food area were helpful and friendly. Probably would look for other accommodations for next visit.

I'm normally a very high rater so this is unusual for me. Paid almost $600 for 2 nights regretted paying that much. Location was really good. Like room layout.

Die Lage des Hotels ist wirklich super. Das Hotel an sich ist auch sehr schön und bietet sogar eine Tiefgarage, wenn auch diese mit knapp $50/Nacht recht teuer ist. Aber ich denke, dieser Preis bewegt sich im Rahmen aller anderen Hotels dieser Lage. Das Frühstück war für ein amerikanisches Hotel auch vollkommen okay: jeder kann sich etwas finden und es hat gut geschmeckt. Man kann das Hotel definitiv empfehlen!

Ich finde, ein Wasserspender oder Wasserflaschen im Zimmer für den Preis und solch ein Hotel sollten ein Minimum sein. Ich bin immer ins Gym gegangen, um mein Wasser aufzufüllen. Ansonsten kann ich mich nicht beschweren. Der Preis für das Hotel und parken sind recht hoch, aber definitiv noch gut im Rennen mit vergleichbaren Hotels in der Umgebung - das ist einfach der Rahmen dort.

It was not mentioned at booking about the parking fee and we were not told at check in that the room would not be cleaned until the 3rd day, we only had a 2 night stay and that would have been fine if we had at least gotten fresh towels or been able to request that before getting back to our room after a full day of touring etc and having to wait almost 2 hours before towels were brought after we asked the front desk.

This hotel was a short distance from Broadway (10-15 minute walk) and from Nissan Stadium (25-30 minute walk). If you plan to visit Broadway or the stadium while in Nashville, this is one of the cheaper hotels to stay at. All of the staff we met were very nice. The pool was warm and a pleasant place to swim for an hour. The hotel itself was quiet and there weren't any crazy parties or drunk guests. Because of this, we got a great night's sleep the three nights we were there.

My biggest critique is that we stayed there three nights, at a cost of $200/night, and did not have our room cleaned once. I called the front desk twice to request a room cleaning, and both times they said they would send people up and never did. I requested new towels and for the trash to be taken out multiple times (things get dirty when you're with the girls on a trip to Nashville!) and it never happened, despite staff telling me both times it would. By the time we checked out, the room was in a dire state. Even though our stay here was generally positive, I wouldn't stay again because of this. Onto other small things: although the hotel is a short walk from Broadway, there isn't anything in the immediate vacinity, so you will still have to walk if you want to grab a drink or bite to eat. It was in a more industrial part of downtown, so we passed by some dodgy characters late at night, including one guy who kept asking to use our phone, so be alert. Upon checking in, the hotel signed me up for text alerts regarding their happy hours and events, which I did not agree to and found really annoying.

We had an excellent stay at Hyatt House Nashville Downtown–Convention Center. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help. The hotel was very clean, our room was comfortable, and the location was perfect. We truly enjoyed our stay and appreciated the excellent customer service.

We stayed at this location for 2 nights. I had booked 2 rooms. I prepaid with a different credit card prior to arrival. Upon check in was charged the appropriate incidental fee and parking fees. Was told that the parking fee would be taken out of the incidentals and would be refunded the rest, as per usual with many locations that charge for parking. While staying I received notification that the hotel was attempting to charge my credit card an additional $308 on a manual entry. This was not an authorized charge, nor was it explained upon check in. I declined the charge with my credit card company. I spoke with the front desk and they assured me that everything was fine with my room and they are not aware of any additional charges. The next day the same charge was attempted and again I declined the charge. The front desk again said everything was fine. After leaving and after the pending charges cleared I was charged an additional fee of $98. I contacted the property and told this was a smoking fee. Smoking? I am not a smoker nor is my husband, and we did not have any visitors to our room. After reviewing some of these reviews I am seeing that this is a common theme. A bogus charge that is inaccurate, or charges entered in "error" and must be disputed with your credit card company. With this many inaccuracies, and multiple complaints about the same concerns how has this issue not been investigated? On a positive note the rooms were clean, the free breakfast was wonderful, and the bar tender was a delight.

Nice room and easy access to most of downtown Nashville. No Uber necessary which was nice for a change.

Highly recommend this spot if you are looking for a comfortable, safe and easy stay in Nashville. Hotel is lively, clean and comfortable. Don't let the reviews about having to walk up a little hill disway you from staying. The Hill is tiny and there are plenty of pedicabs that will bring you back for $20. Also really liked the secured parking.

Really Beatiful Rooms

Looked at reviews to hotel prior to visit and our experience was excellent. Very clean hotel, friendly staff, pay for parking underground but garage was safe and clean. Convenient to walk downtown. It was perfect. No complaints. Definitely would stay again. The location is perfect.

The Hyatt House Downtown was overall a good place for us to retreat from all the action. I was disappointed in our King 1 bedroom upgrade we paid for. My daughter slept on the pullout couch and had to go through the bedroom to get to the bedroom which defeats the purpose of having any privacy and if we had the door shut the bedroom was super hot as there wasn't much air that came through. Overall it was quiet and clean. Bed was comfortable. On the outskirts of downtown, but still close enough to Broadway and the places we wanted to explore on foot.

Hyatt House was an excellent value with a lower priced parking than most. The pool and fitness center were awesome and the walk to downtown was just a few minutes I would stay again.

The hotel is conveniently located a few blocks away from Broadway and is within a block of bus routes. We didn't have a vehicle so we liked that Bus #18 would take us directly to and from the airport. The room was clean and we slept well. As with most downtown city areas, you will see homeless people around the area. We felt safe walking down the streets. The front desk staff were friendly but could be more active in their job. When we checked in, the front desk attendant just told us where the elevator was and did not mention any of the amenities. They have a workout room, pool, and complimentary breakfast. Also a few times when we were walking by, front desk people were on their phone watching videos. The hotel was very reasonably priced during the week days. Overall, a good stay.

Honestly, I got in and a few things were terrible right off the bat: 1. You can’t order room service to your room. You have no room service. What the actual crap? What hotel won’t deliver food to your room from the kitchen. 2. The room was super hot and humid when I first walked in. We’re in Nashville in July. You want to walk into a cold room. The lobby? The hallways? All quite cool. But the room? Hot and humid. I thought it was just my room so I came back down and switched rooms at the front desk. The next room? Hot and humid. Turns out, when you first walked into your room, there’s a black switch called “master switch” that controls the ability to use everything else in the room, including the A/C. So the rooms aren’t air conditioned until you step foot into the room. 3. I couldn’t check in early even though I was told the day before I could. Not too bad though, but when I get there and try and check in again at 4 or 5 pm, the regular check in time, my room still isn’t ready. They said they’d call or text when it was ready. I never received a call or text. I had to go to an evening event with my company and didn’t come back until 9:15pm. Never received a call or text. They didn’t automatically check me in and move my luggage from the front desk area to my room. No, they made me wait until I returned at 9:15, get my luggage, and take it up on my own. Terrible process. 4. The phone didn’t work. At all. I couldn’t call down to the front desk. I had to use my cell phone to call the general number to then get ahold of the front desk through all the automated messages and agents. 5. No daily turn down service unless requested. I had to specifically request that my room be turned down each day, otherwise it’s every three (3) days. Seriously? Honestly, one of the worst hotels I’ve stayed at. It looks great online with the pictures and even seems okay when you step foot inside, but it’s not. It’s terrible. I will say though that the front desk agent who was working overnight was incredibly helpful and kind. She’s a gem. If the property sees this, I was there July 13-16 so you can see who was working. I can’t remember her name. She was great though

The breakfast was basic with very few options and the same menu each day. Also, the only meat option available was pork sausage links. My family does not eat pork. The eggs were powdered eggs full of bell peppers and enough seasoning to cook a chicken. The fruit was not fresh. The orange juice was watered down tremendously. Apple juice was okay. There was no waffle maker. Only bread. I'd just call it safe to say stick with the cereal option. Not really much more to choose from.

My husband and I recently stayed at the Hyatt House Nashville, where we were assisted by Tyronique. She was incredibly professional, helpful, and did her absolute best to accommodate our requests.What truly stood out to us was her customer-first approach. She never once told us what she couldn't do; instead, she focused entirely on what she could do to help.It is incredibly important that more people in the service industry adopt this mindset. Leading with solutions rather than limitations sets the tone for the entire customer interaction and shows a genuine willingness to help, which goes a long way. Staff was super nice. The hot breakfast each morning was good but not plentiful. We would have to wait until staff replenished the food before we could serve ourselves. But I did like the food options. Pool was clean and nice to use.

Interior needed updates in room bathroom. Upper walls stained, unsure if it was mold or something else. Nowhere to place trash outside of your room. Snacks in lobby were expensive.

I was erroneously charged $3,252.70 by the girl at check in instead of $300 deposit. She was careless and dismissive when asked how or why she charged that amount. She responded that it was just a “deposit” and it would fall off in 3-5bd as if it were a $100 mistake!! When I asked for the manager she didn’t respond to me and kept clicking her computer after asking for them again she picked up the phone and told them what happened. Still not displaying urgency nor asking him to come to the front to speak to me. I had to ask several times and deal with her talking rudely to me telling me “I don’t know what she’s doing for me on her end” although this was beyond her and I needed a manager in order to avoid her. When he came she told me “make sure you let him know you’re being rude to me.” To add insult to injury the following day I saw another pending mystery charge from Hyatt for $3,000! This resulted in financial hardship for my family and I during our entire stay. The assistant GM Marshall and GM Tatiana both stepped in to try to remedy the situation with my bank but Hyatt’s computer never showed my 2nd charge of $3k. I had to go my entire trip without fund until my check out 7/11! The staff did try their best to make our rest of our stay comfortable comping anything from the small store and dinner at the hotel but the only thing that was good on their menu was pizza and wings. This again became a very uncomfortable stay very quickly. My husband and I were celebrating our 15yr wedding anniversary and this was the most stressful and uncomfortable trip.

We didn’t like paying $45 a night to park in the garage of the hotel we paid to stay. Parking charges should be for extra cars or visitors, not people paying for rooms. Also our ice machine was broken and the toilet made a horrible squeaky sound when flushed.
