Leonardo Hotel Southampton

Location is great. Close to stores, park and transportation. Great for pre-cruise stays. Breakfast was good.

Can’t say didn’t like but i felt the building is older. Little pricey for the quality of the room.

The staff was very friendly and met our needs especially with a late check out

Fabulous staff. Clean and quiet on floor 11.

The prices were bonkers. Went from £130 on first night of 3, to £340 on last night. Parking was a nightmare.

All worked for me

All worked for me

Everything was very good

I first paid for 5days non refundable but booked two days early than my first booking. I paid for the two days on arrival but wanted stay another 3 days on my 5days and asked to be refund the two days or exchanged for my breakfast but it not possible I had to lose 2 days without refund. I was treated unfairly.

Very friendly style, very accommodating

The location

resto correct bon petit dej

après le nettoyage, la porte est restée entreouverte ! pas de frigo bar pas de douchette et un rideau de douche en tissus (hygiène ?)

Location a little north but good walk down to the main steer

The room was very clean and comfortable, the bed was excellent. The staff were also very friendly and helpful throughout our stay.

comfortable hotel, great location , good breakfast, friendly helpful staff

Very good selection

Very comfortable room and good food in the bar. Breakfast was excellent

Nothing

Staff at check in were extremely polite and helpful. Unfortunately every time I left my room my room key stopped working which was most inconvenient being in the 5th floor. One of the assistants at breakfast seemed somewhat overwhelmed and this was apparent during their interactions. There was no marmalad

המלון קרוב לעיר העתיקה ולמרכז הקניות הגדול. צמוד לפארק העירוני. החדרים יחסית גדולים ומרווחים. ארוחת הבוקר טובה.

אין בחדר כספת.

Absolutely nothing remarkable about this hotel

The force you to pay in card, and card only, wich was a bit of a nuisance for us

地理位置较好

早晨可更丰盛

Location

Servicio de House Keeping (limpieza) se debe mejorar...

Breakfast was amazing , bit noisy outside hotel but quiet inside , Staff were so polite and nothing was too much trouble 😀

The windows were dirty so couldn't see out side to the street .

The location

Busy at breakfast even during recommended timings. I had a key card that did not work properly for 2 days and one manager explained me that I did not know how to use the card!!!!

Very Good A very good choice of food

We wood like a choice of.a Continental Breakfast at a cheaper price.

Nice staff, room and spacious bar. Staff always willing to help.

Good location. Bedroom had all necessary items. Staff.

Cleanliness- I had a dirty undersheet. BUT the staff responded very quickly and efficiently to sort it out

Very clean hotel, staff was friendly, very helpful.

All was great

there was no minibar/fridge in the room the toilet is making noise when you flash

gute Lage, zweckmässige Einrichtung

fixe Dusche ohne Brause mit Schlauch

Location , breakfast and bistro.

Extremely hard mattress, very uncomfortable quilt. Can do better. 9.30

The room was very clean and spacious it had everything you needed

Lovely breakfast and comfortable beds. Friendly reception staff. Quick and easy check in and close to centre.

Lack of parking spaces vut we were directed to a close by parking. A bit pricey for what it is.

The staff were helpful and good. The breakfasts exellent. Room tidy and clean but a little.noisy at night from what sounded like some kind of generator. The room did not have a refrigerator or any drinking water and also no safe which I would have expected having booked a superior room. Having said which, we did enjoy.our visit

The absence.of a refrigerator in the room and no drinking water in the room. The possibility that we paid more by booking direct with the hotel as opposed to other operators

The Hotel Staff is great , the Room is spacious and clean.

It would be preferred if the Hotel Restaurant would consider longer Opening hours. Prior to Cruise, we arrived late and missed the Kitchen open time.

Lovely helpful staff

Na

The location is very convenient, the décor and cleanliness are excellent, and the bed is large; the room is very spacious. Every staff member is very friendly.

But it was too cold—the room was freezing... and I wondered if there was a power distribution box behind the wall near the doorway; it kept humming in the middle of the night.

A great location within walking distance to many attractions and shopping malls. Fantastic Staff who were helpful and friendly! The buffet breakfast was awesome and offered a great variety. Dinners were delicious.

Not applicable

Location in walking distance from city centre.

Reception very friendly and competent, Rooms okay. Air conditioning and can open windows.

Shower in bathtub and slippery

Extremely friendly staff at reception and bar. Lewis at reception was brilliant

It was convenient

We had dinner and it was disgusting. Clearly came out of a freezer and into the microwave. We were both sick all night after the food. Horrible

Very good breakfast, comfortable bed. Friendly personnel.

The air conditioning did not work, but luckily, the night was not too warm.

We didn't use the restaurant for dinner but the breakfast was excellent value for the money loads of choice. We found the bar a little bit expensive but very comfortable

The shower in the bathroom was dated

Clean hotel, friendly staff, good facilities

Location. Abit annoying getting into the hotel from certain sides of the hotel as it is practically in the middle of a big roundabout. Bathroom is quite outdated aswell.

Comfortable and clean. Pleasant staff. Had fun at Women's World Cup cricket matches in Southampton

Nothing

The hotel was in a great location and everything was clean and well maintained. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and overall we had a pleasant stay. The facilities were good and the hotel offered everything we needed for a comfortable visit.

The beds were a little too firm for our liking, and the bathroom felt slightly dated. Apart from that, everything was fine.

Views that’s all.

Didn’t sleep at all and found a bedbug for a first time on second small bed in the middle of the night. Complained to the manager at the desk and nothing was done. It has been left ignored.

Friendly staff. Clean place

Parking was not easy. Need parking on site

We didn’t have breakfast, but I do

The facilities were very good value for the money. We were in town for a cruise. We had never been to the area before so didn't realize that it was about a 15 minute walk with large luggage to get to the cruise terminal. It is also about a 10 min walk from the train station so make sure you are able to walk or want to taxi before booking as it is not right next to transport. Lewis at the Front desk was a wealth of knowledge and EXTREMELY helpful. He truly made our two day stay great. Great tips of what to do and where to eat. HIGHLY SUGGEST EDO ASIA, The best asian I've had!

The breakfast buffet was outrageously priced and I would not recommend if you have to pay cash as we did. One family member had a piece of toast for the price of the buffet because there was nothing that they wanted or felt that was edible. Highly suggest picking something up on journey to hotel or finding other option if not included in the room price.

Prachtig park voor het hotel en vlakbij het centrum.

All fine thank you

Nothing

Sehr gute, in der Nähe des öffentlichen Nahverkehrs befindliche Lage

Der Service im Frühstücks-Restaurant war teilweise sehr unfreundlich.

Clean nice rooms excellent breakfast

No parking

Location was great; room was fine, getting a little long in the tooth. There were no wash cloths in room. There was a sign indicating bathroom floor could be slippery but there weren’t enough handholds in shower. Quite a deep tub. You might consider writing instructions for using shower. The breakfast that came with the price actually made up for the few shortcomings. Very good value! All of the staff were excellent. Very personable and pleasant

Your pub next door wasn’t very good. I thought the serving sizes even as appetizers were quite small. The waiter did make an error with our order so food came out out of order. I thought appys were way overpriced for the size.

Excellent facility, comfy, friendly staff

Parking was an issue

Roomy and clean

Lovely hotel, great breakfast

Molto comoda e pulita

Nulla

Lewis on the front desk was very friendly and welcoming.

Location staff

Room wasn’t tidy Loud noise from toilet

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was plentiful, dinner was very good. It was special to get coupons for a complimentary cocktail and coffee.

There wasn't parking on site.

staff all areas - specifically Lewis on reception- credit to hotel /rooms and great views off sea

parking away from hotel a little suspect / which one to use / should do partnership with one car park

Hotel was great never been to Southampton before evening meals were very good as was breakfast if some I new was going on a cruise I would tell them to book here

There was nothing wrong anywhere with hotel

The staff at the front desk was exceptionally helpful with restaurant recommendations and transportation.

Always lovely hotel and great staff

1st time booking an 'Executive room' and it was exceptional! I've always found this Hotel to be excellent but the extras included this time made a world of difference! Thank you so much!

close to the hospital so after a days treatment perfect place for me to rest and enjoy

all good

We did not have breakfast at the facility.

Room spotless, bed very comfortable, staff decent

The surrounding area outside the hotel is like being in a third world country.

Comfortable hotel with very nice staff.

Location

Great staff and spacious room, very clean too

Pillows a tad uncomfortable but probably just my preference!!

Lovely welcoming staff. Goid breakfast and very comfortable Rooms. Teresa very knowledgeable.

Nothing

It was a great stay

It was a great stay

Staff were helpful and allowed us to use the staff elevator.

Departure from the hotel was a complete disaster. We were on level 5 , I called an elevator at 9:30am for a taxi pickup we had booked for 10:00am. At 10am we still hadn’t been able to get into an elevator. We finally got to the lobby via the staff elevator to find the lobby totally full of people checking in and taking all the elevators. When we booked the hotel we were advised check in was 3pm or later so how is it that so many people were booking in before 10am at the same time that guests were trying check out. Total chaos and very stressful.

Bed &breakfast

Location

Kids movie time. Parking space nearby.

Staff was rude in the kitchen hall. Not very clean

Very friendly and helpful staff at the front desk and bar. Always very welcoming.

no issues.

great choice of breakfast , very confortable bed , no parking ( but parking close by ) really good restaurant and amazing staff

nothing

I love to the environment, the room was clean and neat, the breakfast was good

There's no parking, difficult getting parking in the area. Very frustrating 😡

Good position, food offered was very good, the staff were very helpful.

The pillows were very hard

Als je binnenkomt in de lobby lijkt het een mooi en fris hotel. Ligging aan het park was mooi.

Personeel alles behalve veilijk. Behalve de dames bij het ontbijd. Die waren er vriendelijk. Kamers niet schoon. Zeer gedateerde kamers. Zeer ouge vieze badkamers. Douchen in bad niet van deze tijd.

It was a decent hotel, we slept well and got around easily.

Lovely room, staff and hotel. Odd location in the middle of a roundabout, but suited us. Breakfast was a good buffet selection, but a bit expensive at £16.50 - we couldn't use the £13.50 prebooking offer as we didn't know the day before that we would have breakfast there.

Good location the bar service was good

The bathroom was a little tired round the bath and mirrors better lighting would be good

We were given an old room with a toilet that only worked intermittently @ shower that was substandard. The TV remote was falling apart & the TV was the smallest i have ever seen in a hotel . Bed and pillows were hard & uncomfortable

Great breakfast and friendly staff. Well located.

Bathroom had a little wear and tear but nothing major. Good sized room.

Clean and welcoming staff

The most interesting part of this stay is staff One of the best member of the staff is lewis. Every week i stay in this hotel and been served by lewis. I asked him for complimentary one hour late check out. He helped me out straight away. I appreciate him. I am hoping management will let him be informed about the feedback and treat him well. Thanks!

The staff are amazing

Ideal location for cruise

Nothing

Great breakfast

All good

Totul a fost foarte vechi, pentru pretul acesta foarte scump! La micul dejun astepti 15-20 min ca sa intri si acesta foarte scump

Lovely hotel, very clean and modern. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

In the middle of ring roads

Great rooms

The bar staff were rude

Location immediately adjacent extensive parkland, convenient walking distance from rail station & a shopping centre. Very good value on a Sunday & Monday night with hotel & booking.com discounts. Very comfortable & clean

No prior warning that Fire alarm on Monday morning was in fact a routine test. No mention in room info sheets or fire exit placard nor warning at reception check in. Albeit disruptive, the escape route worked & the final fire exit doors to the Street weren’t locked. Senior management could improve overall level of compliance with the Regulatory Reform Act (Fire Safety) Order 2005 - to avoid customer panic, confusion, inconvenience & complaints.
