It was great everyone was really nice . The life guard Duran was great did everything befor you asked
Excellent customer service! The staff was amazing and made my stay very enjoyable. The location was right in the middle which made for easy access to everything. My room had a beach view and I woke up with a smile. The value for the room was well worth it! I will definitely be back!!!
Thank you for a wonderful stay! I really enjoyed it. It was a quiet, beautiful, wonderful, well-maintained place with a magnificent private beach. The staff was friendly and helpful. I'd especially like to thank Donna for the high-quality and comfortable accommodations. Thanks to her, the room was extremely cozy and clean. We also appreciate Duran for her thoughtfulness, courtesy, and preparing the beach in the morning. Thanks to Donna and Duran, our stay was even better.
We had a very nice, relaxing visit at Rondel Village. While an older, smaller property it is well maintained and is directly on the beach with gorgeous water and softest sand. We were a group of 7 and stayed in the 3 bedroom villa. Rooms were very spacious and comfortable, near the small pool, beach, and water activities. The restaurant and staff were helpful and friendly. Property does not offer entertainment, but it is close to Woodstock, Jungle and other night life. Great for large group trips, where you relax, bring games, connect and explore the area.
My stay was exceptional I love the staff miss Donna is great Mr Collin’s is awesome the front is great Leoni is always giving great service.
Love the staff here. Duran the lifeguard was an incredible source. Great place to just chill #Durancox #ronmadmax
Checking in with Leone the best receptionist. She was pleasant, kind and very attentive. Made sure that we were comfortable for the stay. For a couple of days we had the same lifeguard...his name is Duran, always greeted with a smile. He sat up our spot for the day, interacted with guests but most importantly made us feel safe. Negril is our home away from home...but we especially enjoy Rondel Village.
I had an amazing time. The room was clean and had all the necessities for a great trip, including my own personal Jacuzzi...loved it! I also loved the fact that I could get room service throughout the day and night, most hotels that aren't all inclusive usually don't have that, based on my experience. The beach is beautiful and was literally a few steps away from my room. The restaurant was by the beach with a stunning view of the sunset! I booked a deep tissue massage as well and it was probably one of my best massages ever. The staff was polite and welcoming. I had absolutely no issues during my stay. I'm definitely coming back!
Worst Swedish massage ever. Plus masseuse wouldn't leave the room when the massage was finished so I could get dressed. I found that annoying and decided to go on and get dressed anyway with her standing there. I had anticipated top notch service especially for the prices, but it was way below my expectations.
Our family recently stayed at Rondel Village in a 2-bedroom beachfront villa, and it was an amazing experience from start to finish. The villa itself was incredibly spacious, and having a separate living room and kitchen area truly made a difference—it gave us room to relax and feel at home. The hot tub on the porch was such a nice touch and definitely appreciated after long days of walking and exploring. The beach area is smaller than what I’m used to along Seven Mile Beach, but honestly, it wasn’t an issue at all—we were always able to find chairs, which made it easy to enjoy the water and the view. The on-site restaurant was excellent. While service could be a bit slow at times, we didn’t mind one bit—it gave us more time to sit back, unwind, and take in the beautiful surroundings. What really stood out was the staff. Every single person we encountered was friendly, welcoming, and eager to help, which made the stay even more enjoyable. We also loved the nightly entertainment, which is something we haven’t experienced at other smaller hotels on Seven Mile Beach. From live music to trivia night and even a performance by the Silver Birds, there was always something fun happening. Overall, this was a fantastic stay, and our family is already looking forward to coming back. We’ll definitely be regulars from now on!
Great location, great staff, nice grounds, good restaurant. The room was clean and comfortable, but extremely outdated. Also, it can be a bit noisy on the nights when the nightclub next door is open, but I don’t see what the hotel can do about that.
Our family of six adults just returned from one week's stay at RV and would definitely recommend this resort to all. Check in was fast & efficient and our bags were taken to our rooms promptly. We stayed in the Garden area across the road from the main area, The security guard was always there to stop the traffic and get us across safely. We had a ground floor room which was clean and the beds were very comfortable, always had hot water for showering. We were supplied with two bottles of water on check in and after that would get our bottles filled at the reception area and get ice there, since the ice maker wasnt working in our part of the resort. The pool area was clean and very refreshing. We had a nice balcony area to sit in the shade and we utilized the pool area tables & chairs often after a day at the beach where we always were able to get enough loungers and umbrella's, thanks to the lifeguards on duty. The RV beach area is amazing and clean. We ate daily in the outside cafe/bar area for breakfast and lunch and the restaurant a couple of times. The food & service was good even though it took along time to come. The staff everywhere were very friendly and always greeted you on sight. We did not encounter any bad experiences in the week that we stayed at Rondel Village, our first time going non inclusive and at a much smaller resort. Was there lots of noise and music from the busy roadway and next door establishments, yes but we were able to sleep in our nice air conditioned room.
We went for 1 week with my elderly parents and my adult children to Rondel Village in Negril. The accommodations were very clean, the staff were friendly. Check in and check out were great. We loved our stay here. Staff made sure we were taken care of. The food was really good as well. We had the pool to ourselves most days, the beach was easy access. The lifeguard always made sure that we had chairs for our group of 6 people. I would highly recommend this place.
I would strongly advise travelers to avoid Rondel Village. Our experience was marked by dishonesty, poor service, and unacceptable accommodation standards—especially disappointing given that we were celebrating my mother’s 90th birthday. We encountered a deceptive booking process, where the manager provided different quotes to different family members for the same stay. When we arrived at 3:00 p.m. for check-in, our group—including my 90-year-old mother—was left waiting until 7:30 p.m. to receive our rooms. This delay only ended after prolonged arguments with a booking agent who repeatedly changed explanations and terms. The so-called “beach villa” was neither peaceful nor comfortable. The bed was extremely hard, and the street noise was constant and intrusive—hardly what one expects from a beachfront property. Basic amenities were also lacking. There was no hot water in the showers or the jacuzzi tub, which is unacceptable for a resort at this price point. Guests should also be aware of the restaurant’s service charge practices. The service charge added to bills does not go directly to the servers, and staff do not receive the full amount if tips are added by card. If you choose to dine there and receive good service, tip your server in cash. Overall, this was a deeply disappointing and stressful experience, especially given the importance of the occasion we were there to celebrate. Rondel Village appears more focused on money extraction than genuine hospitality, and there was a complete lack of customer service or accountability. I would not return, nor would I recommend this property to others—particularly families, seniors, or anyone seeking a relaxing, honest resort experience.
Okay
Not sure.
Location
Bitten by bed bug. Sheets were dirty. Lower units were available but was given unit on the 3rd floor which was challenging 🤔
Recently spent 5 days and this was perfect for a family with older kids and younger kids. The rooms/villa were very big and we had plenty of room to spread out and have time away from each other when needed. We also had a full kitchen which was nice. It was a little dated and not overly fancy but this was in my opinion more comfortable when trying to relax with kids. The pool was a nice added touch especially for my youngest. The food was a bit pricey but we got groceries from the Hi-lo grocery store which was about a 10 min walk and enjoyed other local food. The onsite restaurant while pricey was very convenient. The front staff could have been more helpful when assisting with finding a taxi for excursions. We did not have hot water at one point but they were prompt to fix this for us. Would definitely stay again.
My third time at Rondel. I have stayed 2,5 months there now. The reception staff is so nice and polite. Cleaning lady Donna is amazing, she has worked at Rondel 30 years! Beautiful hotel ON the beach. So amazing. Will be back!
Excellent place to stay
We love Rondel. They're truly warm, wonderful and accommodating hosts. The waitresses and staff are extraordinary. Duran, our beach attendant was excellent. He was always friendly and attentive. We look forward to seeing you again very soon.
The room was basic but large and clean. Lovely small property, would return and recommend.
The hotel was very close to the main event spots for the Dream weekend and few steps to the Jungle Club. The restaurant meals were top of the line, super delicious. House keepers did an awesome job cleaning and towel decorations were delightfully arranged with flowers. I am highly recommending this location that sits on the beachfront.
Our family had an amazing time at Rondel, Delroy is an incredible bartender making us feel very welcome ! John and all staff made us feel at home. We will only come to Rondel Village when we come back to Jamaica. Highly recommend !
Staffs were nice but the property needs renovation.
I love how cozy and relaxing my stay was and always is
Truly enjoyed my time at this property, the staff was great
Great staff and wonderful clean room
This place is amazing I would love to stay again.
It was an ok stay
Staff was very friendly. Great location to the local spots for food. Beach is steps away from you. Second time staying here and always love it!
The staff was very friend and accommodating .
I had a few issues but I would stay again
I have been visiting this property for over 20 years! I have always enjoyed my stay Clean rooms and premises…. Friendly and helpful staff AbsolutelyBeautiful!
The staff was wonderful, the food exceptionally good.
Beautiful property and beach. Duran was so nice and helpful at the beach. Very lovely stay.
Spent 10 days at RV March 2025 and had the best time! The rooms and grounds were clean and tidy. The staff throughout the resort was amazing. Duran had our beach chairs ready and ensured that our days at the beach got off to a great start. Thank you to all !!
Intimate
Location across the street where we stayed was next door to the Jungle entertainment venue. A few days during our stay we were kept awake until 3:00 am from noise.
when checking in with the receptionist @ RONDEL VILLAGE had the worst arrogant and rudely attitude i have ever experienced in my 27 years of traveling.
Duran on the beach was on top of things, always had our beach loungers out before we went down to the beach. Donna our cleaning lady was top notch, always made our villa sparkly.
Our stay at Rondel Village was average and we will not return. Upon checkin, there was chaos, disorganization and lack of efficiency. The room was clean, but outdated and lacking essentials, like shampoo and conditioner. Our in-room safe did not work and after several unsuccessful attempts to repair/replace it, we resorted to storing our valuables in a friend's safe. We ran out of toilet paper and towels a couple of times, even after our room was cleaned. Our housekeeper also removed our quilt for "cleaning" and it was not replaced for 2 nights, even after requesting to have it back. There is a nightclub that stays open until 4am on Thurs & Sat night that is very loud directly next to the resort, making it difficult to sleep. The beach, pools and hot tubs are nice and kept clean. We felt safe at the resort, but were constantly harassed by people trying to sell us things on the street & beach. The restaurant is convenient, drinks are good, but be prepared to pay above US pricing. For the price and experience, I would not recommend visiting Rondel Village or Negril.
We just got back form a week long stay at RV for the first time. I have been going to Negril for 30 years, but have never stayed here but I knew people liked the hotel and decided to try it bc Sunwing offered it. Our room was basic but just fine and clean, and the cleaning staff (shout out to Donna who is just so lovely) were excellent, and any issue we had the staff worked to resolve quickly. Heads up that even if you book through Sunwing, the hotel requests a $300 USD room deposit on arrival, which we were unaware of- it caught us by surprise and does not typically happen with Sunwing vacation hotels (Ive had a CC number requested, but never a cash deposit so if you are on a budget you should be prepared for this. RV is new to Sunwing so they did not seem to know the typical procedures and how it differs from guests who book directly with the hotel). Big shout out to Duran the beach life guard who was excellent! He kept everyone on the beach happy and was friendly and helpful. The other beach staff were not nearly as good and the one day Duran was not there the beach was not run nearly as well. Food at hotel was expensive but good, all servers were lovely. We will def be back!
Property was clean, service by the staff was good.
Vacation at this Resort was great and the health spa was amazing!!
Wonderful mid-priced property. Many of the inexpensive "all inclusive" properties have much to be desired. This property was well kept, friendly, and affordable through Expedia.
everything
Staff are great. Delroy at the bar is a complete star. The waiting team are much more cheerful and engaged than they were when we last went in 2023. Very clean all over the property.
The rooms (particularly the bathrooms) are now a little dated, but perfectly fine. The Jungle Nightclub runs on Tuesday, Thurs and Saturday and is a real problem. Kept us awake until 3am.
The property was Beautiful & cleaning & front desk staff were Great. The lifeguard always seemed frustrated to get towels ordet up chairs & umbre. I will definitely be staying ther3 again!!!
Breakfast was okay staff were lovely, helpful and friendly
Restaurant was quite expensive and geared towards American clientele Limited vegetarian/vegan options
We loved our stay at Rondel Village! It is located right in the middle of Seven Mile beach and near everything you need. Rondel is a small resort which allows you to get to know the people who work there as well as the other guests. We quickly felt like family after arriving. They have live music once a week, there is live music next door three times a week, and live music within walking distance every night of the week. The beach is amazing, the food is wonderful, and the pools and hot tubs are fabulous. The rooms are very clean and comfortable, we love that this is a Jamaican owned resort, and we most definitely plan to return as soon as we can.
I had the best time ever. The food is very good. The grounds are meticulously maintained and kept secure. Solo travel or with friends and or family this place is perfect. Duran the beach/towel guy will look after all of your beach needs even the ones you didn't know you had.
My daughters and I just returned from staying here. I can’t describe how much we loved staying here. We felt so taken care of and welcomed. We will be back and we will definitely stay at Rondel. We hope to see our friends at Rondel again in a year or so
Well for one the staff was lovely the lady at the front desk mss ketrice and the lady at the dining area the little dark slime one never get her name. But it was perfect being there. I wish it was not that expensive tho🙂 but am coming back i would recommend anyone to stay there it worth it.
Decent property for the price.
Personal hot tub , nice showers , clean
Uncomfortable beds, ITEMIZED LAUNDRY!?!?! FOR HOW MUCH WE PAID TO BE HERE WHICH WAS OVER THE TOP WE COULDN'T EVEN DO A LOAD OF LAUNDRY!!! WITHOUT PAYING AN EXUBERANT AMOUNT!!! RIDICULOUS ☹️
Beautiful beachside resort. We stayed on the beach side and enjoyed the 30 steps to the ocean from the restaurant terrace and bar. Great beach staff Duran was always happy and helpful. The service and kitchen Chef created yummy and beautiful dishes. We eat breakfast and dinner most days at Rondel. We learnt to split the meals as portions are good. Lobster Alfredo, Jerk chicken and Spaghetti Meat pasta all amazing. Negril is full of activities, beach has many locals who are fun and creative. Fresh juice with Ricky, Patty Man stops by for lunch, great local music played close by in the daytime. On Friday and Saturday nights there is Reggae close by, it's loud and authentic Jamaican.... ya mon, respect the vibe. The resort is safe and clean with in room fridge, AC and Safe. It's cozy place for those who enjoy authentic Jamaica, stop by the HiLo supermarket and stock up. We really enjoyed my 1st time at Rondel.
Very tropical location The staff were excellent and very friendly Rooms were clean Location is perfect
This is probably my 4th or 5 th year here and when I tell you from the start of booking , communication and customer service Doverlin Ramsey and the staff here make sure that you have a great experience. Thank again see you next year
We had a party of over 20 friends and family that all stayed at this place. The villas were clean and comfortable. Delroy, Duran, Andre, and Lamara were the best! In fact, all of the staff was great! The pools were clean, and if a few leaves fell in, they were there to clean immediately. My family and I cooked some days and the kitchen was fully supplied. The beach was swept daily of debris. The food was cooked to order, so we didn't mind the wait. The owner came out and gave us the history of the resort. I will recommend this place!
This lil' boutique hotel is the most delightful place to stay in Negril. It's a gem on 7 Mile Beach where some seem corporate, as opposed to hear where it's quaint and quirky. Reception staff are wonderfully professional, kind and helpful. Security/maintenance/housekeeping staff are all friendly. The room I stayed in (nestled in lush gardens with plenty of interesting wild life) was immaculate, fruity, comfortable and spacious. I asked for a kettle and one appeared. There were a couple of small hiccups room-wise, which staff swiftly sorted and no further issues were had. The hotel leads straight on to the glorious beach from the bar which is fun (ask the bar keep to make you a Dirty Banana cocktail, they are something else). Breakfast was delish. I tried almost everything and liked it all. Appreciation to the chef and waiting staff. The chef was a bit late the first morning, so the waitress kindly whipped me up some eggs and French toast. Superb. There is the nightclub almost next door, which was v loud... so plug those ears if you don't want to join in. All staff are immensely professional, kind, helpful and friendly. Nothing is too much trouble. A glorious experience and big thanks to everyone there x
I like this spot, very quiet and they have 2 properties. It’s best to get the property with the villas that is on the beach. The place was well manicured and the staff was great. My only complaint is I didn’t have a Microwave in the room I stayed but the staff in the restaurant allow me to use theirs.
I was impressed with: 1. The beauty of the property - the architectural design of the buildings, landscape, and entrance into the Garden side courtyard - was breathtakingly beautiful. 2. Reception staff, at check-in, they were courteous and greeted us with smiles. 3. The entire village staff - security guards, housekeepers, landscapers - were exceptionally kind, friendly, helpful, and happy at work. Special staff members who deserve mentioning are Rihanna, Jenae, Oshane, Ms Ivy, Veronica, Mr Clive, Mr Gregory, and especially Nov 11th, 2024 beach front gate night guard (he was so wonderful, understanding, and kind - thank you, thank you, thank you, sir!) 4. Jay Bird Restaurant - the atmosphere, servers, chef, food, table setting, cost - were beyond beautifully perfect. The food was absolutely delicious and satisfying. With it being located on the beautiful 7 mile beach, the tropical plants and flowers, the music, the island breeze, and the outstanding friendly staff made this choice a perfect five-star. Kudos to Shela and the entire Jay Bird staff for looking out for the hungry and thirsty 9:00 p.m. stragglers. 5. Convenient location to shopping, restaurants, and entertainment. 6. The air conditioning and iron worked very well.
1. The rooms could stand an upgrade to modern furniture, decor, and a neutral color interior paint on the garden side properties. Currently, the rooms and bathrooms are a bit drab. 2. The inequalities between the Garden side and Beach front properties. (Garden side guests would also love to have access to a coffee/tea pot and cups in the room since breakfast is not included.)
I have stayed here four times now, I think? Rondel Village is a really special place and totally what you want if you want to stay somewhere comfortable and safe that isn't a big corporate resort. It's affordable, the staff are incredibly kind and sweet, it's right off the beach. The restaurant and bar are very good. Shoutout to Delroy the bartender in particular who is an absolute rockstar. People have been coming to this spot for decades to chill with Delroy. They are lucky to have him. My only advice is that the resort straddles the main road. The Jungle nightclub is next door on the garden side and it can be very loud late into the night. If you want to party, no problem. If you want peace and quiet, beach side is the way to go.
I love the location of the property right on the beach. Their restaurant served good food. The staff was awesome. The only con is the bathrooms need upgrading.
Accessibility to everything. Pleasant, corteous, helpful staff. Special respect to the groundsman who keep the gardens looking beautiful. Housekeepers, great job.
Quiet safe private environment.
Hot water everyday was a plus
I was very satisfied wih my stay. Definitely recommend staying there. I was refer to this place by buba Nash from flagcity seafood grill. Love it. Staffs are are warm and inviting. Just comfortable all around.
It was at a central location where all the important shops are nearby.
N/A
The layout is very nice, very clean and quiet. Seems small but there are two sides to the hotel.
Parking seems very limited. I had a short stay so I may have not seen the additional parking.
Fantastic location lovely little villa rooms
How pretty the rooms were and picturesque
We had a fantastic stay at the Rondel. The staff are so helpful and friendly. The garden are pretty. The beach is gorgeous. We stayed in a villa. The air con worked, very spacious. We would definitely come come back
Beautiful escape.
Travelled to Negril for a day trip and ended up staying the night. Rondel village was our pick after review of available facilities. The property was clean, staff friendly and attentive. We stayed at the property across the street from the beach but went over to enjoy the beach front in the morning. We didn't try the breakfast/restaurant there as other reviewers mentioned that it is expensive. We found surrounding local places to dine as we were mobile. Walkable restaurants around. This place will be at the top of my list for a family gathering at the end of this year.
Friendly & helpful staffs
I have stayed here before which is why I chose it again. In the aftermath of hurricane Beryl, there were few guests and there was not enough effort to make our stay special! The hotel is in need of upgrading in the rooms the grounds are still gorgeous and lush!
The disappointing quality of the rooms eg: no tea and coffee making facility in the room.
Natural plant surroundings to and from beach to room. Pleasant and professional staff. Wi-Fi and Air-con good. Fantastic view of sunset. Attentive beach life guard. Close proximity to other attractions and amenities.
Nothing to dislike other than locals walking along the beach and pressure selling you.
Upon arrival, the internet on the opposite of the road was not working at all. I called the front desk & the young lady immediately transferred me to the beach side to another room in which I appreciated. The running water (sink & shower) in the room was not working but I didn’t complain. By morning, the water was up & running. I stayed at this hotel about 20yrs ago & this is my 1st time returning back. I got to enjoy the pool & jacuzzi. I was pleased with the upgrades & professionalism of the staff.
My family and I stayed for only one night because we had a funeral to attend. The staff was very professional and friendly. Love the location.
We have stayed here before and we chose to return because we like the location and the friendliness of staff. The grounds are filled with garden in between buildings. Building and rooms could use some updating but we were comfortable. Location and layout of restaurant and proximity to beach access is what we feel sets the location apart from many.
Highly recommend this property
Simple clean but the best spot on 7 mile beach
It is right on the beach. The staff there are very friendly and accommodating and make everyone feel like family. This is my third trip and it feels like home.
The hotel was amazing , right on the beach and if you stay across the street there is a pool and jacuzzi on that side of the property. The property is safe, the bar and restaurant were amazing. The rooms were nice , bed was comfy and TV had all the shows that I needed to watch. The front desk receptionist were amazing and helpful, especially Natinsia (don’t know how to spell her name) she is the best. I will be back very soon , actually next month.
This is my 5th time staying at Rodel and every time I feel welcomed by ALL! My experience normally starts online with the lovely Doverlin, who is always courteous, professional and and always willing to help. She is always on hand, helping to navigate my dates and ensuring that I get the best deals available! Then there's the lovely Miss Donna, who is ALWAYS there to welcome me with a smile. She is the glue that holds Rondel together, and with her 25 years of service, she has a wealth of information that has made my stay there, that more interesting! What can I say about MY lovely Housekeeper, Melissa? She is an absolute asset to Rondel! She is pleasant, kind, hard-working, patient and made my stay at Rondel an absolute treat!! There was nothing too small that she would not do if asked. I am always happy to have her as my House-keeper whenever I am there. I would also like to give a massive shout out to Anatasia, Miss Salaman and the other members of staff at the front desk, Banton and all the other landscapers, who help to beautify the gardens that I get to enjoy. Big shout-outs to the security crew, who are always there to open the barriers for me to get in or out of the car park, or even to park or move my car, if spaces are tight. A big thank you to Mr Wright for always being accommodating and open to new ideas! If you are looking for a place to stay that is welcoming and want to feel a part of a large family, please give Rondel Village a try, I guarantee, you will not regret it!
My husband and I enjoyed our stay, we’ll be returning.🙂
We stayed across the road from the reception of the property. However, the front property was at 7 Miles Beach, very calm and clean. Perfect for an end-of-the-day relaxation watching a beautiful sunset.
They did not have many guests, which is excellent, but they kept us at the farthest unit possible on the property.
The resort gauging on service and restaraunt prices as simple breakfast was $50 for two people
Meals were overall great! Staff as well are excellent. Super warm and responsive to requests.
Rooms are ready to be updated; Linen and bedding as well.
It’s a good location.
