It was perfect for our needs. We were there to visit Newgrange

The grounds were lovely and the room was comfortable. The breakfast offered many choices including a full Irish breakfast.

The lighting in the bathroom around the sink could have been better.

Adequate breakfast, location not so ideal for us but really nice grounds to the hotel, very peaceful.

Didn't realise the hotel didn't do food or tea/coffee during the day or evening - if you want something, you have to order it in via Deliveroo/Just Eat etc. Nice hotel but that factor brings it down.

The grounds were beautiful, staff were fantastic. Rooms were clean and spacious.

The bed I slept in was uncomfortable. I could feel the mattress springs under my back, and the room was really hot, even with the window open.

the pool and gym is not attached to hotel and it is not just for hotel guest. the public can take out memberships to use as they please, so it was very packed, with club members.

Hotel and grounds are beautiful and location convenient to Neolithic sites and Dublin airport. Front desk staff very helpful.

It wasn’t that I didn’t like anything, but after a few hotels on our stay had offered oscillating fans in the rooms, we got spoiled. Would be a nice amenity since there isn’t air conditioning or fan option otherwise.

Staff were lovely and breakfast was very good.

Paid extra for a Superior double, I didn't feel it was worth it.

the service was excellent, especially from louisa and holly on reception and steven at the bar.

the only thing that felt a bit uncomfortable was the room with the bath on the ground floor that only had frosted glass and no curtain / blind in the bathroom with cars parked directly outside.

The most gorgeous grounds to stroll on and staff made the stay so comfortable. Breakfast was delicious!

We had an amazing time during our stay. From check in from leaving. Richard the best barman, Mane and Marlen were absolutely exceptional and we hope it’s appreciated just how amazing they are to their guests. A fabulous room, exceptional service and we will be back. 100% would recommend!

i thoroughly enjoyed my recent stay at the boyne valley hotel and country club; the staff were very friendly, helpful and provided me with an excellent service; i would like to especially mention steven who worked behind the bar, was very helpful and created some lovely refreshments for me; louisa from reception was really helpful also, showing me different room options and holly was also friendly and welcoming too! i loved the facilities and although they did not provide dinner, they had plenty of recommended restaurant outlets who were happy to deliver food to my room if required; the pool, sauna, steam and jacuzzi facilities were great and the grounds were beautiful; my room was lovely, comfortable and i had a great night's sleep!

Superb location in its own grounds. Twin room, very clean and spacious. B&B only, so evening meals need to considered separately if required. Great breakfast - with plenty of choice. Staff very friendly and attentive.

Poor reception on room tv. Not really an issue for us, but brought to staff's attention.

Das Zimmer und auch das Bad sind sehr geräumig. das Hotel hat eine schöne, ruhige Lage. Fußläufig erreicht man den Pub. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück ist sehr zu empfehlen. Es gab eine große Auswahl und von Allem mehr , als genug. Wir kommen gerne wieder

Comfortable clean room with everything you need and nice view into the garden. Pool and sauna were spotlessly clean. A nice location with around 20 minute stroll into drogheda Town centre. Didn't have food as restaurant was closed for renovations but happy with every part of the place I did experience.

The Boyne Valley is in a beautiful and handy location for travellers to drogheda or like ourselves we stopped here before going on to Dublin. The hotel staff were welcoming upon our arrival. I was aware the restaurant was undergoing renovations prior to booking, and the reception gave us a handy list of local restaurants and take aways should we require it. The room was clean and tidy, the beds were fine however sleep was very difficult due to the heat in the room. When the door was opened and I walked down the hall there was a considerable difference in the temperature. I will say we travelled in the summer and the outside temperature was low 20s. Staff provided us with fans but it was a long and uncomfortable night. Breakfast the following morning was grand and staff were polite and helpful. Although they had the breakfast room packed up before we were finished and it just felt like we were being rushed out the door.

I spent 1 night here, very comfortable, staff friendly. Breakfast very good. I had an evening meal here which was very good. All in all a good stop for a night.

Close to the centre

Loud music in function room, we couldn't open windows in heatwave due to noise, no assistance from staff. No slternative rooms or even a fan offered. Staff just brushed off our concerns. Poor quality ingredients used for breakfast. There are better quality hotels close by. I would have expected a whole lot better for almost £200 per night.

No fridge in the room.

The hotel and surroundings were very tranquil. The staff were very helpful. We were a large family gathering, we did a take away order and the hotel provided plates,cutlery and condiments and the staff helpfully disposed of our rubbish afterwards, nothing was a problem. The receptionist on our last morning, Andrew, I believe he was called, provided us with tea,coffee,croissants and even yogurt for the kids, so appreciated, thank you!

There was nothing to dislike in regards to the property.

The fact I didn't get no lunch or dinner served .I understand B&B only was included in the price for the room but the bar was nothing to want to stay in. Zero atmosphere, room attendants being so noisy in the morning. I wouldnt stay here again for sure

Das Hotel hat seine besten Tage hinter sich. Die Aussenanlagen waren nicht gepflegt. Es wurde aus dem Frühstück keine Speisen angeboten.
