Good location, great pool area although the water colour at tthe time of our stay was a bit off, still safe to swim though. We did not eat at the hotel. Fantastic biew from or 6th floor room.

היה נוח ברמות - חדר גדול, מרפסת גדולה עם נוף ים מהמם ! ארוחת בוקר טובה ואיכותית ! חניה ! מבחינת נגישות היה נח גם בקומה הרביעית למרות שלקחנו חדר שלא הוגדר כנגיש. אומנם החדרים הם בסיסיים מבחינת התגמירים והעיצוב אבל עבורנו המלון היה הפתעה. ו...סנטה מרגריטה מקסימה.

Alles schmuddelig und zum Teil dreckig. In die Jahre gekommen. Preis/Leistung stimmt über nicht.

Die Lage war sehr zentral.

Das Bad war verschimmelt. Auf dem zerrissenen Teppich fanden wir eine Kontaktlinse des vorherigen Gastes. Der Sessel war verschlissenen. Die Vorhänge hatten unangenehme Flecken. Unsere umgehende Reklamation wurde nicht behandelt und wir warten bis heute auf eine zugesagte Reaktion aus der Zentrale in Mailand

Die Lage ist sehr gut und wir hatten eine schöne Aussicht über den Hafen. Der frisch gepresste Orangensaft.

Hatte Schimmel im Badezimmer, der Lift hat nicht funktioniert, der Kaffe war eine Katastrophe und es kam nicht das aus der Maschine was man gedrückt hatte. Das Frühstück war mittelmässig. Ich kenne das Hotel seit 30 Jahren. Es wurde billig renoviert und ist schon wieder in einem schlechten Zustand. Das sieht man leider an allen Ecken und merkt es spätestens nach dem 2. Tag. Schade um dieses alte und einmal schöne Hotel.

Struttura centrale, camera ampia al sesto piano con vista mare, compresa di ogni servizio addirittura dei kit di servizi personali come ad esempio spazzolino o rasatura. Staff cortese e disponibile. La colazione era più che adeguata addirittura con molta scelta di dolci e non solo per alimentazioni vegane. Estremamente soddisfatti.

The lift didn't work on the 6th floor. I got stuck in it twice and had to press alarm button. I seen several others having to do the same. We had to climb stairs with heavy suitcases. Pool bar was expensive for quality. Pool and general upkeep of surroundings (including look of building from outside) was very disappointing! Not worth the extreme money

The bed was comfortable and the room was clean.

We were not able to swim in the pool for 4 days as the water was not clean and it looked like wet green. We have a pool at home so we are aware of what a pool should look like. Our biggest problem was that there was no hot water to shower for 4 days. How do you take a shower with cold water. We attended a wedding and we were a large group and nobody had hot water.

Near to sea, bars restaurants etc. Fabulous views from the room balcony, and good sized balcony if you stay on floor 4 the side where there are no rooms above you.

Looks grim from the outside. Not entirely sure how it got planning permission! Basic rooms. The pool didn’t look like it was cleaned very often. No bar after 7. Description says that the pool has views of the sea - it does not! But if you get a room floor 4 and above you get great views from your room balcony.

Everything about this stay was perfect for us. The room was comfortable and clean, air conditioned for these super hot days. The pool area is clean and it's nice to have towels right there. The staff at reception and pool areas are the best part of our stay! All very accommodating, friendly, and polite. We had lunch at the pool and it was great!

Maybe housekeeping came a little early, but we forgot to put the do not disturb sign so our fault.

Parking exigu .nous avons été bloqué en fin de matinée ; au moment de partir impossible de sortir du notre place de parking,car 2 voitures,mal garées,rendait notre sortie impossible.Les propriétaires étant en mer nous avons du attendre 19:00 pour pouvoir sortir,alors que nous partions vers la Toscane.

We were there 6 days No hot water they were having problems and there was nowhere else to go so we had to boil our water with a kettle to take a bath And wash our hair in the sink The pool was not good it was murky as you can see from my photos could not go in And there were lots of ants in one of our room I had booked 3 rooms for our stay we were there for a wedding

I really loved this hotel 🏨 😍🥰 wanted to stay there longer, felt so relaxed there 🥰🤩 We had wonderful room with sea view 🌊 This hotel have quite spacious pool, there was always a space on beds. Wonderful and very helpful staff, clean and great atmosphere. Nice breakfast 😋 with possibility to squeeze your own fresh orange juice 😋 👌 It is easy to get to the bus stop and there are good restaurants near by. I really recommend this hotel 🤩🤩🤩

La vista de la habitación 338. A pesar de estar en el tercer piso la ventana daba a una pared con cañas y no estaba limpia. El receptáculo de la ducha tenía algunas manchas de hongos.

Nice location. Staff is nice and the welcome drinks at the poolbar were appreciated. Rooms were quite big.

Parking is not easy to park, outside and expensive (20€ per night). Bathroom was old.

The hotel is very old and run-down—it urgently needs renovation. This is nowhere near a 4-star property. Visible minuses: · The pool is green and needs cleaning; · Breakfast is very poor quality—the only hot option was omelette with bacon; · Only two towels provided—one small foot towel and one large bath towel; · No hot water.

Tout était très bien; l emplacement, la vue, le petit déjeuner, le personnel.... Nous avons beaucoup apprécié d'avoir un emplacement parking pour la voiture, que le petit chien soit accepté et et le service ascensseur en bas de l'hôtel pour ma maman qui est à mobilité réduite. Un séjour formidable que nous souhaitons renouveler dès que possible.

certains petits détails sur l'entretien du bâtiment ( entrée extérieure quelques petites réfections à effectuer comme par endroits des traces sur les murs ou autre, donner un petit coup de peinture) mais rien de grave car l'ensemble est vraiment super.

Fabulous location, Santa Margarita is beautiful. Staff were very friendly & helpful. Room was large with huge balcony, a little basic but very clean. From the outside the hotel is not very attractive but inside was lovely.

Preis Leistung schlecht, überteuert! Hotel in die Jahre gekommen, Zimmer lieblos, Neonlicht, Leselicht kaputt, Dusche abgenutzt, im Bad keine Abstell-und Hängemöglichkeit, Balkon sehr runtergekommen mit Esstisch plus Liegestühlen= unpassend! Leselicht wurde trotz Meldung nicht repariert.

The location of the hotel was perfect within a few minutes walk to the sea front and restaurants and shops the breakfast was very good with a good selection aswell as drinks and having fresh orange was a nice touch, the staff was friendly, the room was a good size and fantastic views over the harbour and having a good sized balcony is always a bonus and the cleaning of the room was very good

Unfortunately for all the good points of the hotel was wiped away with the bad points as soon as I got there only one of the lifts was working and it only being able to carry 3 persons at a time so it took a bit of time to finally get to my floor as soon as i got into my room 610 the bathroom door was broken and would not close, I told reception four times every day I was staying and was told maintenance would look at it nothing got done and on check out I told reception about this they then said the maintenance team had a look and would take a few days to repair but I was not made aware of this!! I was not offered any good will gesture or even asked if I wanted to change rooms which for the money I paid and it being a four star hotel is not professional or good enough also I understand parking is very hard to find around the area but charging 20euros a day for people staying more than one or two nights should be offered at a discount and finally the time being there the region had one of the worst rainfalls with lighting and thunder which can't be helped the region had constant power cuts and once again it being a four star hotel they would be prepared for such a thing but there generator either had problems or they didn't put enough diesel in it or didn't want to keep it on constantly so at times we was sitting in darkness for long periods with no staff at hand to offer us complimentary drinks but they did make the most of it selling drinks and snacks until there shift ended and shut the bar and kitchen or even being there to comfort any of the guests as we was all in the dining room because some of rooms got flooded and where I was on the 6 floor the stairs was flooded and with lift having no power it was risky and dangerous coming down the stairs and once again for paying so much money for a four star hotel you would think management and staff would provide more assistance and help and not panicking more than the guests, so overall for all the good...

L’hôtel est quelconque et médiocre. Il s’agit d’un vieux bâtiment mal rénové. Beaucoup de bruit y compris travaux. Salle du petit déjeuner peu chaleureuse et peu qualitatif.

the hotel was very nice with location close to the pier and some good restuarants the staff was very friendly and helpfull the room was clean and had everything you could posssibly need . they had a good parking and some other options nearby and the nights we stayed were very comfy and the shower was good.

Pictures look much better than the place itself. It is old, furniture is odd, the window view was to an ac vent. Stayed only one night.

It has a nice pool I really had a great time there it was relaxing and nice. The room was big enough and with a great view. It is close to the waterfront like mmm less than two blocks

The first room that I took had a little problem with the Bath Faceut and they couldn’t fix it. Breakfast ends at 10 a.m. It would be better if it went until 11, because since I’m on vacation, sometimes I like to sleep a little longer.

Eneste positive var at morgenmaden var god.

Vandet i poolen var direkte beskidt. Det var så uklart at man ikke kunne se bunden og man kunne se solcreme og blade mv flyde rundt. Derudover var der pletter på vores sengetøj og det blev ikke skiftet selvom vi bad om det - de vendte blot puden om. Vi havde ydermere et værelse lige op af elevatorskakten og elevatorerne kørte fra 6 morgen til 12 aften, så der var konstant larm. Vandet i badet skiftede hele tiden temperatur og toilettet kunne ikke skylle ordentligt ud. Personalet var fuldstændigt uforstående overfor vores oplevelse (og i øvrigt virkelig ubehøvlede), og det havde de "aldrig hørt før", men vi kan se, både her og på trustpilot, at mange har haft dårlige oplevelser før os. Det her er på ingen måde et 4 stjernet hotel. Vi kørte hjem efter 2 dage selvom vi havde booket 7, fordi vi ikke kunne holde ud at holde ferie der, og hotellet nægtede at refundere vores betaling for de øvrige 5 nætter.

A very good hotel with friendly staff and a great location and lots of handy amenities. We stayed here for a couple days and had an excellent time.

In hotel il personale è molto cortese e disponibile. Alla reception è possibile chiedere di prenotare una spiaggia o un ristorante. Dopo il check-out si possono lasciare i bagagli in deposito. È stato particolarmente piacevole trovare in camera un voucher per un cocktail di benvenuto al bar dell’hotel per ogni ospite.

Das Zimmer oder besser das Bad war eine Frechheit war Schimmlig und hatte einen sehr unangenehmen Geruch . Konnten erst am Tag danach das Zimmer wechseln .Das Preisleistungs Verhältnis stimmt für uns überhaupt nicht .

The location was good and walkable. Lots of great restaurants around. AC was good.

I am not really one to not like a hotel but honestly I really disliked my stay. Firstly, you can hear absolutely everything going on around you. I had an unpleasant encounter with my neighbour room which had to alert the staff and they said they would speak to them but really didn’t do anything to compensate - however the disturbance did stop. My room has a bathroom window which all the neighbouring windows, next door room and pool worker could see through so I had to shower in the dark to feel safe. I spoke with staff to ask if it was one sided and she said yes and no one could see me - it was not and staff only said ‘oh sorry’ when I mentioned it again with no compensation. Shower water was lukewarm most of the time. I asked to fill my water bottle and they said I couldn’t use their kitchen tap and had to pay for water, which I’d already bought multiple bottles of water and was getting sick of it. I inquired about staying an extra night for convenience to not move locations for a night just for a flight but I asked for breakfast at 0645 rather than 0700 and they said nope only available at 0700 when I asked the kitchen directly. No acts of kindness and just didn’t go out of their way to help what so ever. Very disappointed and not worth the price. Would not recommend.

Stunning hotel with pool which was very much enjoyed with the heat and as sometimes difficult to get access to a beach. Hotel very nicely updated and great location. 12min walk from the train station and in the middle of town.

The staff at reception were welcoming and professional. The room was a good size, and we had a lovely view over the village.

The room was not recently renovated, and many facilities at the pool were out of order (maintenance issues), unfortunately.

Hotel is old, rooms are worn out and desperately need rennovation. Bathroom was full of mold smell and very small. Very noisy housekeeping who start around 7am smacking doors and moving furniture! Could not sleep. Walls very thin and I can hear the next room mobile alarm and phone calls! We selected this hotel because it had a nice pool with a slide, pool is very old and slide does not work! Bad value for money!

The hotel is well-located and close to the city center. Check-in and check-out were quick. The price is somewhat high. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good, though nothing exceptional. The receptionist, Halima, was very pleasant and provided excellent service.

Parking is extremely limited, and accessing the area with luggage is difficult due to haphazard parking; you might find a car blocking the entrance for two consecutive days without any intervention from the hotel. Service trucks—handling laundry or hotel supplies—also block the road; this has happened both last year and this time, obstructing your ability to leave or move your vehicle.

The hotel is fine and the staff are helpful. It is located on a slightly elevated area, which gives it a nice view but also means there are many trees. During the summer, the sound of cicadas is very loud and annoying during the day, making it hard to enjoy the balcony

The shower lights were not completely functional, hand shower was not working. We spesifically stated two seperate bed, they gave double but then they fixed it. There were no laundry services unfortunately. The AC was not functioning properly.

Das Hotel ist einfach keine 4 Sterne wert. Unser Zimmer hatte Schimmel an den Wänden, das Badezimmer war so voller Schimmel, dass ich meine Tochter nicht unbeaufsichtigt lassen konnte. Die Möbel sind alt und kaputt. Der Teppich klebt und riecht nach Chemie. Leider einfach schrecklich und einen Stern wert. Am pool war die Rutsche kaputt, die duschen kaputt und die liegen dreckig und alt. Das Frühstück bestand aus abgepackten Lebensmitteln, lieblos hingelegt. Wir waren einfach frustriert für zwei Nächte mehr als 900€ gezahlt zu haben.

Apparently this hotel sees itself as 4 star! It is so run down. We booked a junior suite and the room allocated to us had the area of the lift shaft jutting out into our room. We not only lost space but we could continually hear both lifts. We went and reported it straight away. We were politely moved to another room. This room had massive stains on the floor and was generally shabby. I complained again and we were given another room. It was better but in desperate need of maintenance. The staff are friendly, helpful and wanted us to be happy so we don't blame them at all but the overall state of the hotel leaves little to be desired.

Santa Margherita Ligure is simply an expensive place to stay, nevertheless, the quality of the room we stayed in pretty low for the price you pay - we were expecting a bit more luxury e.g. for the beds and bathrooms

Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour dans cet hôtel. La chambre était très propre, confortable et bien entretenue. Le personnel a été accueillant, souriant et toujours disponible. L’hôtel est bien situé et nous nous y sommes senties très bien. Nous garderons un très bon souvenir de notre séjour.

Le seul petit inconvénient concernait la piscine, qui est très profonde (jusqu’à 4 mètres). Avec une jeune enfant, cela demandait un peu plus de vigilance et il aurait été appréciable qu’il y ait une plus grande zone peu profonde. Cela dit, nous nous sommes adaptés et cela n’a pas empêché de profiter de notre séjour.

Établissement bien placé. Tres agréable d’avoir une piscine. Et c’est toujours un plaisir d’avoir vue sur la mer.

Obsługa hotelowa 5+. Śniadania niczego nie brakowało. Owoce, warzywa, świeże soki bez ograniczeń. Obsługa kelnerska cudowna. Pani o imieniu Electra.. jeśli dobrze pamiętam imię, dostaje 6+♥️za podejście do klientów. Basen z czystą wodą, ręczniki podawane na życzenie. W strefie basenowej można zjeść posiłek . Bardzo polecam obiekt.

The staff were fantastic, very helpful, both reception and cleaning staff. The bed was comfortable. It was in a good, central location to get to the bus, train station, beaches and main part of town.

It was expensive for the size of the room and the bathroom. Our view was OK, but it was mostly of a wall.

Proche de tout, situé entre Portofino et Rapallo, le personnel est très accueillant et serviable à tout heure ! Je conseille fortement !! 👍

We very much enjoyed our first visit ever at the Santa Margherita Ligure B&B Hotel. Honestly they had it all. 1st it's the perfect location a street or so away from the hustle of the town center sitting a bit up hillside over looking the sea. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean & comfortable, and well thought out for most modern travelers including most importantly our room had a wonderful mattress. The pool and pool area including pool lounges were clean. Pool / lounge staff and lifeguards were friendly and accommodating.
