Schönes Haus an Top-Lage direkt vor dem See und nur wenige Gehminuten vor dem Zentrum entfernt. Frühstücksangebot war ok, aber nicht herausragend. Personal jederzeit freundlich. Parkmöglichkeiten vorhanden aber direkt am Hotel eher knapp. Zimmergrösse ist ausreichend, kleiner aber schöner Balkon vorhanden.

Parkplatzmöglichkeiten sind schlecht beschildert und direkt am Hotel eher knapp vorhanden. Etwa 100m entfernt bietet das Hotel jedoch zahlreiche kostenlose Parkplätze.

C'est simple, nous avons tout aimé ! La chambre est ultra bien équipée, il y a tout et tout est fourni ! L'espace SPA est superbe ! La piscine du haut offre des vues magnifiques sur le lac et les îles, les transats sont ultra confortables ! La piscine du bas est tout autant superbe. L'accès au lac pour une baignade se fait juste en bas de l'hôtel, avec la piscine extérieure à côté. L'hôtel est à même pas 10 min à pieds du quai pour visiter les îles. Et l'hôtel propose un parking, ce qui est fort pratique. Nous nous sommes tellement détendus lors de notre court séjour, que nous avons même hésité à le prologner d'une nuit.

Il y a des travaux juste à côté de l'hôtel qui polluent la vue sur le lac que nous avions depuis l'hôtel. Le prix est cher, mais la prochaine fois, nous prendrons une chambre avec une vue sur les montagnes ou sur la cour, le rapport qualité-prix sera ainsi bon !

Excellent hôtel plutôt contemporain par rapport à tous les voisins … Belles chambres propres avec grandes fenêtres, magnifiques piscine sur le front du lac, parking facile. Rooftop branché, excellents cocktails, petit déjeuner correct sans plus. Personnel de ménage, piscine, bar et restaurant parfait, accueil pouvant être plus attentionné. Pas de conseils spontanés sur les offres de visites …

Rien de plus si ce n’est le prix un peu élevé…

La proximité et la vue sur le lac. La ville de Streisand, naturellement l’hôtel en soi.

Je n’aime pas le matin à 7h30 entendre des enfants qui crient dans les couloirs et que l’on entend tout. J’ai le sentiment que l’insonorisation n’est pas bonne. Je n’ai pas aimé que les femmes de ménage à 8h15 8h20 du matin font beaucoup de bruit alors qu’on veut dormir. Voilà, c’est tout.

There is construction next door which could obstruct your view and there are party through out our stay which some facilities are not available to regular guest. One day the house keeping did refresh towel but did not make up the bed. It is very odd for a 4 stars hotel giving how much it charged

The hotel was lovely, modern but with character and clean. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Great location, and the beach club/pool area has amazing views over the lake. Toilets at the beach club were like a spa changing room! Overall, an enjoyable stay.

The spa wasn't very good, treatment was average (the therapist was lovely) and people wandering in & out by the treatment room being noisy. The sunbeds around the pool are quite uncomfortable for a long period of time, for the price of staying there I would expect comfier sun loungers. Also, i wasn't informed about the building work next door, i found out from a friend who had been recently. This was unpleasant in the mornings when having a cup of tea in bed, not the most relaxing start to our day! Otherwise, couldn't really hear it in other areas of the hotel. Beds & pillows in the room were not that comfortable either.

Genieten aan het meer, heerlijk hotel met klein zwembad op dak en een zwembad over de weg met uitzicht op het meer.Op het dak zit ook een bar met zitjes, daar is het in de avond prachtig zitten. Neem muggenspray mee! Ruime eigen parkeerplaats even verderop. Het ontbrak nergens aan. Vriendelijk personeel, Geweldig ontbijt!

Unser Zimmer war nicht ganz so modern wie auf den Bildern zu sehen, allerdings war das Bad neuer und alles war sauber.

We absolutely adore Italy and have travelled to many different lakes across the years. Lake Maggiore did not disappoint. The highlight of the hotel was the beach club across the road. Our experience with the staff was fabulous, they worked really hard and non stop all day, with a smile. They were attentive and hospitable, and made our time pleasant. They really took time to answer any questions and were right there when we needed any help. You could see them engaging with all the hotel guests, and came across so friendly and welcoming. Same goes for the staff at the restaurant, breakfast was always busy, but the staff worked hard, always on the move and never too busy to provide anything we asked for, so thank you. However, what let the hotel down were the staff at the reception who were not attentive at all. Every person on the front desk were unwelcoming, on arrival and throughout the day. Not one person could even give a simple smile, even when approached with questions. Everything seemd like such an effort and they came scross as not wanting to be there. This was certainly very poor and even when asked questions, it seemed to bother them and we were given unhelpful and abrupt answers. We are really surprised that front desk were like this , which was very disappointing and made us not want to ask any further questions or engage with any of them. The reception staff at La Palma should take note!! This is what wonderful service should be like!! So thank you to all the lovely exceptional staff at the beach club and also restaurant. If it were not for the staff at the beach club and restaurant, I would have rated this hotel 1 star based on ther front desk. Front desk certainly let the hotel down on this occasion from our experience.

Centrally located with modern, spacious rooms, a relaxing rooftop space, and a serene infinity pool. Breakfast was delicious, and the service consistently outstanding. Our second stay was just as impressive as the first.

De locatie. En een heel vriendelijk kamermeisje.

Kinderen mogen, ivm mogelijke overlast, alleen in het zwembad van de beachclub komen. (Dus niet in de Skybar) Terwijl in de beachclub juist veel overlast werd veroorzaakt door veel te aanwezige, luide en drinkende Amerikanen. Geen goed voorbeeld voor kinderen en weinig rustgevend voor overige gasten… De gym-ruimte had 2 wijd openstaande ramen, waardoor de temperatuur daar 30+ graden was, niet ideaal voor een workout.

Abbiamo soggiornato per una notte nella piccola villa adiacente all' hotel non dovendo uscire dalla struttura. La camera era abbastanza basic. Top invece il bar sul rooftop con la piccola piscina a sfioro, molto carina per chi cerca un angolo tranquillo per il relax piuttosto che usufruire della piscina più grande. Anche Sauna e bagno turco, Top.

Dovessi tornare soggiornerei in una camera della struttura centrale, che ha un livello maggiore. La nostra era normale da 3 stelle non da 4. Ma comunque soddisfacente.

We tried to change our hotel when Tui advised 2 weeks before we flew there was building work next door. Thank goodness Tui's alternatives were poor & we decided to keep with La Palma. The noise wasn't too intrusive. The hotel was Absolutely fabulous. The staff, the room, the location were all brilliant. We were half board and the food was like a 5 star restaurant. The sky bar was always very busy and it was difficult to find a seat but on the one night we did it was lovely. The beach bar was so nice. We will definitely return but maybe choose a time when there arent as many children as the pool was perfect early on but became a playground with sea scooters and inflatable balls.

Sur le dernier soir, l’hôtel a organisé une soirée privée sur son espace piscine, avec chanteur et DJ, rendant l’hôtel absolument impossible à dormir. Je n’ai jamais pu voir le directeur qui se cachait le lendemain, car je souhaitais le remboursement de cette nuitée. A l’accueil on m’a simplement expliqué que cela arrivait parfois d’avoir ce genre de soirée et on m’a proposé des cocktails pour s’excuser. C’est simplement inadmissible de vendre des nuitées dans un hôtels où il y a plus de 70db dans les chambres, et j’avais l’impression de les ennuyer à me plaindre de cette situation. on m’a simplement expliqué que cela allait cesser vers minuit, ce qui est inacceptable lorsque l’on voyage avec un jeune enfant

First, the service at the Skybar left something to be desired. The staff there were not particularly friendly or welcoming, which was disappointing given the otherwise nice atmosphere of the venue. A warmer attitude from the team would have made the experience much more enjoyable. Additionally, the layout between the beach club and the pool area was inconvenient. There is no direct access connecting the two, meaning you have to take a longer route to move between them. This made it less practical to switch from a beach day to a pool swim, especially with towels and belongings in hand.

I booked LaPalma hoping for a relaxing vacation with an Italian vibe. I especially liked the rooftop jacuzzi and the beautiful infinity pool. I wouldn't do it again. The hotel lacked the friendly hospitality of almost every Italian hotel I have stayed at over 25 years. The reception staff was perfunctory and the wait staff at the pool was cranky. Probably because there were constant weddings and events to the point where you felt like a crasher at someone else's party. I was surprised to see infants in the pool, which apparently is allowed in Italy? I tried three times to enjoy the jacuzzi, and ran into storm-soaked cushions or another party. On my last try (around 4 p.m.) I was curtly told that towel time was over. I was uncomfortable with a set of four or five wet tile stairs with no handrail. There never seemed to be enough shade. My room faced mountains, as promised, but in front of them was a huge construction site. Surprisingly, it was actually fun watching the large cranes and the building take shape. The heavy balcony door blocked noise completely. But, still, I believe guests should be informed while booking. On the plus side, I do have to thank the woman who booked rooms for her super-quick response when booking.com inexplicably tried to cancel my reservation at the last minute! Grazie mille! Also, a special thanks to Viaggi Tomassucci Travel Agency, with whom I booked a tour, who told me the train I planned to take to Milano Centrale was not running and helped me arrange a solution involving busses.

Both the reception and the general manager were unfriendly and seemed unconcerned about our problems. The hotel was overcrowded and very loud at night, with poorly insulated rooms. Only two floors have been renovated — the rest of the 120 rooms are old and dirty. Would not recommend.

What a wonderful hotel! Everything was perfect. The lake view from the room is breathtaking. The room is large, comfortable, and well-equipped. A fantastic, diverse breakfast with plenty of hot and cold dishes. The staff is very kind and friendly. Free parking!! Great location, 2 minutes from the town of Stresa, with plenty of restaurants and cafes near the hotel. The rooftop is amazing!!!! Great food, cocktails, an adults-only pool in addition to the pool by the lake. Highly recommended!!

La chambre, très froide, ne reflétait pas la beauté vu sur les photos du site. Traverser une route pour accéder à la piscine. La piscine du bar encore fermée à 11h30 du matin, le petit déjeuner hyper sommaire, peu de choix. Et aussi, charger ma voiture électrique 20% et payer 35€! Du vol

Personnel très aimable, architecture et décoration de bon goût. Très bien placé par rapport à la gare, au lac et au centre. Piscine belle et agréable. La terrasse sur le toit est très belle pour l’apéritif de fin de journée, avec une superbe vue.

Manque quelques parasols dans l’espace piscine en pleine saison et avec ces chaleurs intenses.

When we entered the hotel we were met with a lovely room- although overlooking a construction sight (not the hotels fault) though slightly annoying. Everything has been fab. My concern is the incredibly poor service at the pool bar across the road. Every single day we have ordered it has took around an hour for us to get our food (while having to ask for it multiple times), and similarly with drinks we’ve had to wait minimum 40 minutes for them. When staff were questioned, they have been relatively dismissive. We noticed several people who’d ordered after us got their food before us too! What’s equally disappointing is being able to see our food sat on the side of the bar. Though our stay at the hotel has been great with a fabulous location overlooking the lake from the pool and a 3 minute walk into the little town centre, I would stick to the restaurants around the town and avoid the pool bar altogether.

My wife and I spent 15 nights here at what is a very good hotel. The reception staff were always very helpful, especially Alma who checked us in and suggested several local restaurants, and Carola who dealt very efficiently with our requests for bus and ferry trips. All the staff - receptionists, waiters, bar staff, cleaners, pool attendants and gardeners - worked very hard. We had a room at the front of the hotel overlooking the hotel gardens and lake. It had a large, comfortable bed; plenty of wardrobe and cupboard space (although some of it was too high to be of any use); an easy-to-operate safe and fridge/minibar; two bedside tables; two chairs and a small table; a large desk space with a stool beneath; and a large flatscreen TV. The hotel provided welcome cartons of water and some nibbles. The balcony had two chairs and a table and was a lovely place to relax with views of the gardens and across the lake to distant mountains. The air-conditioning in the room was probably the best we have ever had, especially with temperatures in the low to mid thirties! The bathroom was a little small but has a good shower, excellent toiletries, bath and hand towels, dressing gowns and the ubiquitous one-size-fits- all slippers (always too small for me)! The balcony window had an automatic shutter, useful at night. Breakfast was excellent. There were three fruit juices, still and sparkling waters, yoghurts, fresh fruit, a large variety of cereals and nuts/seeds, breads, croissants, pastries and cakes, (and cooked options for those who can eat hot food early in the morning in high temperatures), with a variety of teas and coffees. It was easy to get a table overlooking the attractive front gardens. The pool area was pleasant with sufficient sunbeds and sun shades, with towels in exchange for a token. We had lunch at the pool bar on a few occasions and it was good. The changing rooms, toilets and showers under the pool were excellent. Other hotel facilities include a small library behind reception, a gym and sauna on the sixth floor (neither of which we used), and the Sky Bar on the roof (which is open to the general public). I must finish with a few niggles, but not problematic enough to affect my overall rating of this hotel. 1 There were no hooks in the bedroom for hats, waterproofs, bags etc. 2 The bathroom light switch is inside the bathroom (which would not be allowed in the UK). 3 The TV kept going off which would not normally be a great inconvenience as people today use mobile phones for news etc, but it was annoying when I was watching the World Cup football! 4 The lifts occasionally had a mind of their own. 5 While staff at the pool were good, I got the feeling that people from other hotels did walk in and use the pool facilities without being checked. 6 Finally we had a late flight on our day of departure and a courtesy room was offerred but only at a cost; we declined and used the showers at the pool. The acid test - would we stay at this hotel again? - absolutely yes.

Stayed for 3 nights on a family vacation through Italy. Hotel location cannot be beat, the rooms are well equipped with modern touches. Best part is the beach club across the street which is very unique to the area. Rooftop pool deck and sky bar was also very nice (amazing sunset views). The few shortcomings are related to service. No consistency from staff, some are very attentive and others just don’t feel like being there. Breakfast buffet was mid at best, food quality was not good. Waiters by pool deck seemed disinterested in taking orders for food/beverage or clearing things up after parties have finished (literally had dirty cups and dishes stand for two hours after the party has left. Also some furniture on Sky bar is starting to break down and looks dirty with holes in them (hopefully they will replace after this summer season is over). So overall it’s a solid choice but with some tweaks needed.

Das Personal war äußerst freundlich und hilfsbereit. Unsere Zimmer war sauber und wurde von Larissa gepflegt. Die Lage mit der Nähe zur Altstadt war super Der hoteleigene Pool liegt direkt am See, die Aussicht ist traumhaft Die Sky-Bar ist einen Besuch wert. Alles in Allem ein perfektes Hotel.

We recently spent four nights at this marvelously located and welcoming hotel as part of an alumni travel group. La Palma is centrally located in Stresa and across the street from Lake Maggiore and the hotel’s swimming pool. Excellent food with a wide variety is provided in the main dining room for breakfast and dinner. The main dining room opens to an open-air patio-type setting if one wishes. Service is attentive and unobtrusive. Part of the charm of this hotel is that the family who owns the property works and eats there daily. The male owner made the rounds of our groups’ tables our first night and suggested sights to see in the hotel. Every night the family lined the walls’ cubicles during dinner. One night our trip director pointed out the grandmother who’d just returned from the south of France, where the family owns another hotel. Our room was comfortable with a balcony overlooking nearby roofs. Since the heat was excessive and the view so uninviting, we never went out on our balcony. We received daily housekeeping attention from a friendly staff. Turning on the shower for the 1st time was like an IQ test but worth the effort. When I remodel at home, this will be my model. I was fascinated with the lights in the hallway, which doubled as you stepped into the hallway. The US must adopt the Italian way of lighting: put your card into the socket for the ability to turn on lights. Pull the card out and no lights will come on. All in all, a fabulous stay.

Construction opposite a bit of a shame to not be informed of. And one night there was a wedding reception with loud music until the early hrs of the morning which wasn’t good on a night we wanted an early night.

We chose it for our wedding staying and there hasnt been even a time to be mentioned congrats or a special treat. The staff is very unfriendly, we definitely not recommend it or actually chose it if not because the pool at the lake. The bed wasn’t comfortable at all.

Cranes next door but otherwise hotel is fabulous

חדר נהדר, צוות מקסים, מיקום מעולה וארוחת בוקר טובה מאד. ראיתי בהרבה תגובות שחסרה ערכת קפה בחדר, כנראה שזה תלוי חדר כי לי היה גם קומקום וגם מכונת אספרסו.

לשטיחים במזדרונות היה ריח. צמוד למלון מתבצעות עבודות שיפוץ מסיביות, לי זה פחות הפריע כי היה גם נוף לאגם וחוץ מזה החדרים אטומים היטב לרעש ככה שזה לא הפריע.

Loved the hotel, the pool and location. Good variety at breakfast apart from hot items though we did discover you could order hot items directly from waiters. We did not see this advertised. The shower was very good!

Only free water on the first day then you had to pay - I found this odd given the cost of the rooms. You couldnt get a coffee in the hotel between 10am and 12pm when the Sky Bar opened. You had to cross the road to the Pool bar after 10 until 12 so if you wanted to sit in the lovely grounds after breakfast with a coffee - no dice. I found the pillows a little hard.

The pool is absolutely fantastic and the view from the room is good as well. Staff is very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast is copious though served only until 10am which is a bit too early for a vacation.

I booked a junior suite with lake view for 700 euros/night and got a bathroom with old vanities and a plastic corner cabin shower that did not meet my expectations. The pictures on booking.com and the hotel's website are not what you get. Also of note is that there is a construction going on right by the side of the hotel so if you are planning to stay there make sure that you do not get a room on the construction side.

Es war eine größere Gruppe für eine Hochzeit angereist und somit sehr viel Lärm im Poolbereich. An diesem Tag war der Servicepersonal sehr überlastet.

Окна номера superior с частичным видом на озеро выходят на ужасную депрессивную стройку, озера не видно почти совсем. В 9 утра персонал, убирающий коридор и соседние номера, начал истошно орать, общаясь между собой. Выспаться не удалось, хотя очень хотели.

View from the Sky Bar was amazing. The pool by the lake was very relaxing too. Staff were friendly and helpful. Location was only a 5 min walk to town.

We stayed at the hotel in June 2026, a fantastically nice hotel with wonderful views, a very nice rooftop pool and bar that also served lunch and light meals in the evening. There was also a slightly cooler pool down by the water that also served drinks and simple food. Good fresh rooms, we recommend booking a room with a front view of the water - it's worth the money. We were very happy that they have a good spacious garage where you can drive down with a sports car. Our only complaint was that the breakfast was 3 star but the hotel otherwise is absolutely 5 star

Wonderful place. Location and facilities fantastic. The pool for me was the best part of all. I don’t think you’d find many other places with that view. The staff, especially the pool team and the pool bar team were fantastic. It was very busy sometimes and they handled some rude Americans very well. Air conditioning in the rooms great too. Bedrooms fine - all mod cons. Beds (and pillows!) all very comfortable despite other reviews - I guess this is down to personal tastes.

I think the bar and pool bar prices are pricey. I understand it’s a prestigious hotel but for a four star hotel, 10 euros for a very small glass of wine is a little steep. The breakfast is fab but 10am finish is a little early - I think 11 would be so much more helpful for customers. And the waiters for breakfast don’t mess about - the start clearing up about 9.45, so if you want your breakfast don’t be late! The rooms are very tastefully decorated but be warned - all “Superior rooms with a partial view of lake” have a huge building site as the main attraction. You can see the lake but the building site does spoil the whole ambience. My daughters stayed in a classic room in the original building behind the hotel and it was stunning! I would seriously think about spending the extra money next time. This didn’t spoil the hotel and holiday though. It really was wonderful.

The parties and loud people went to 2 am. Management just let the noise continue. The hotel hosted the large party but the noise could be heard all over the lakeside It is surprising a hotel of this caliber would support this kind of behavior. It was the talk of many non-partying guests.
