Great location near heart of town.

The room decor was quite old and tired. The bed was extremely hard which made it difficult to sleep. The airconditioning didn't work so we had to leave it on fan which didn't cool the room. There was no bar fridge. Overall the room was disappointing.

Very good location. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Food was very good and a good price. The pool was beautiful and very updated. Beautiful view of ISO Balla.

Rooms were a little dated.

The location was perfect, a tiny stroll into the square for restaurants or to the ferry pier. Beautifully presented, the hotel was classic old world charm full of tradition, the staff were very helpful and attentive to any request. The pool area was well maintained as was the restaurant for breakfast and staff looked after everyone. The view onto lake Maggiore was unmatched!

The storage in the room was very limited. Too few drawers; not able to store cases under the beds; limited wardrobe hanging space.

Our car, parked by the staff got 2 distinct damage because of mishandling. Not any excuse or notification, the staff member just disapperard. A much more expensive visit than we had thought from the beginning.

Une odeur nauséabonde de canalisation provenant de la salle de bain qui était fortement désagréable. Des araignées au plafond. La salle de bain est très petite

Struttura meravigliosa. Hotel storico e in quanto tale la hall e gli ambienti comuni come il ristorante e la colazione sono da togliere il fiato. La piscina è meravigliosa. Stanza piccola ma molto confortevole con bella terrazza ampia sulla piscina anche letti comodi. Vivamente consigliato. Personale di una gentilezza fuori dal comune.

Bagno grande ma la vasca con il vetro non è comoda sarebbe molto meglio una doccia walk in.

La chambre dans la dépendance avec une climatisation si bruyante qu’on ne peut la laisser la nuit, une salle de bain d’un autre temps avec un pare douche tout cassé, et une télévision plus petite qu’un écran d’ordinateur.

Umístěn přímo u promenády a jezera, elegantní prostory i pokoj. Vše čisté s personálem na úrovni. Snídaně s dostatkem variant jídla, káva servírovaná ke stolu. Z restaurace krásný výhled na jezero. V lobby je možné si dát drink a posadit se do pohodlných křesel před hotel s výhledem na jezero. Bazén jsme nevyužili, ale byl otevřen do pozdního večera. Ubytování jsme byli v depandanci, pokoj byl čistý, pěkný stylově vybavený. Bylo zde ticho a klid.

The situation and the wonderful views from our balcony. The staff were friendly and helpful and made our stay a memorable one.

The coffee at breakfast was of an inconsistent standard and there could have been more fresh rather than tinned fruit.

Top Lage, großer Balkon mit Seeblick, sehr hochwertige Ausstattung. Sehr großes Badezimmer.

Klimaanlage war nicht leistungsfähig. Frühstück leider nicht sehr umfangreich.

The hotel is in a fantastic location to enable you to fully enjoy all the attractions of Lake Maggiore. It is well maintained and all the staff were very friendly. Our room had spectacular views over the lake.

Breakfast could have had more variety eg freshly cooked omelette however what was on offer was adequate. The pool area was okay however is constrained by the available space.

Совершили по озеру три путешествия на острова Изола Бела, Мадре и Пескатори. В самом отеле чистота, прекрасный, внимательный персонал, готовый помочь с любыми проблемами. Очень хороший и разнообразный завтрак, внимательные официанты. Прекрасный бассейн с джакузи. Получили с мужем великолепный отдых!

Bellissimo hotel, a due passi dal centro di Stresa. Staff accogliente e disponibile. Colazione ottima.

De locatie is top, direct aan het Lago Maggiore gelegen en je loopt binnen een paar minuten het gezellige centrum in. Het ontbijt is heerlijk en uitgebreid.

Locatie is super. Heeft een vriendelijk personeel(vooral de man van de valet parking) en leuke zwembad!

Meubels wat gedateerd maar wel in goed staat.

The location was great, and the staff were realy kind and professional. The restaraunt was also very good with a great view.

The room was terrible. Ugly, suffocating, no wifi, with the most uncomfortable bed, and we could not open the windows because it was next to a hallway people would pass by

Superbe hôtel italien à l'ancienne très bien entretenu. Excellent accueil, parking très sécurisé (par ascenseur à voiture) jolie piscine, chambres un peu petites mais c'est vraiment le charme de l'ancien, et superbe vue sur le Lac.

Le restaurant semble toujours vide, et j'ai compris pourquoi au petit-déjeuner : le JAMBON blanc était À VOMIR, je n'ai jamais vu cela même dans un camping, alors pour un 4 étoiles, c'est une vraie honte, le "chef" a dû faire des petites économies stupides, et on m'a dit que les oeufs brouillés étaient aussi mauvais ! J'ai été agacé par le prix de la chambre, 240e le lundi 17 août, moitié prix le lundi suivant

Ist halt noch ein typisches altes Hotel, Toilette & Zimmer haben den alten Vibe, sind aber schon sauber.

Personnel à votre écoute et très bien situé face au lac et des iles et proche du centre.

La localisation à proximité du centre et face au lac, la grande terrasse avec vue sur le lac, la piscine très agréable et le fabuleux petit déjeuner.

J’y ai mangé un soir, c’était bon, mais la cuisine est un peu convenue.

Room was not clean. Bathroom was grubby had hair on the floor toilet not clean. Nail clippings stacked on balcony table- yuck!

Das ganze Hotel ist sehr schön ausgestattet. Es hat einen Speisesaal wo das Frühstück eingenommen wird. Alles ist sehr schön dekoriert mit Blumen und in diesem wunderbaren historischen Stil. Auch der Pool ist sehr sauber und die Liegen sind grosszügig um den Pool verteilt. Die Lage ist sehr schön direkt am See und in das historischeZentrum braucht es zu Fuss nur 5 Minuten. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist sehr gut ausgestattet. Es gibt frische Früchte verschiedene Kuchen, Brote Käse Fleisch etc. auch kann man die Bar benutzen. Es gibt Drinks und Speisen an der Poolbar, welche sehr kostengünstig sind.

Das Bad ist etwas älter, aber grosszügig von den Quadratmetern

The staff are fantastic and make you feel very welcome…and this really stands out and makes for a pleasant stay. Add to this a great location overlooking the lake, close to the old town and the ferry and it’s an excellent hotel.

If I had to make a small criticism it would be that it has the slight feel of a grand hotel that has grown a little tired. Small things that just give this vibe. I think it’s a minor issue as overall the experience was very positive.

J'ai beaucoup apprécié le surclassement dont nous avons bénéficié. Le service bagagerie à l'accueil ainsi que l'accueil du personnel. La piscine. Le petit-déjeuner était très diversifié en produits salés mais peut-être pas assez en produits sucrés (pancakes, croissant...)

Rooms could do with a bit of updating and the air conditioning was just ok, needed to close balcony door for it to work, can see the logic but was a bit annoying if someone was in the room and the other on the balcony. No tea/coffee in the room.

Brilliant hotel, excellent location with super facilities. Excellent room with super view of the lake. Great choice of food for breakfast and dinner, easy walk into the main town with plenty of bars and resturants, great resort.

Super locatie, ontbijt was goed ook de service van het personeel is goed. Behalve achter de receptie zaten er een paar minder vriendelijke mensen. Auto parkeren was super service dat deden ze altijd voor je en ook weer ophalen echt top. Zwembad was top, de bar aan het zwembad was ook perfect.

De aankleding was een beetje old fashion.

I could feel the gap in the middle of the double bed as it was two singles out together.

Locatie is goed. Je loopt met 5-7 minuten over de boulevard het oude centrum in. We hadden een korte gang waarbij we buitenom naar het zwembad konden lopen (via een trap). Er zijn aparte handdoeken bij het zwembad beschikbaar. De auto stond achter het hotel met mogelijkheid om te laden. Bij de buren (Hotel La Palma) kun je lekker op het dakterras zitten. Aanrader voor de borrel: Bar moka Stresa (8 minuten lopen).

Die Unterkunft hat uns sehr gefallen. Es ist zwar etwas in den Jahren gekommen, aber es hat uns sehr gefallen und sie fühlt uns sehr gut aufgehoben. Es Personal war ausgezeichnet

Location was perfect for a short stroll into town for restaurants. Its location was also ideal for exploring Lake Maggiore. The pool area was very welcome after a morning sightseeing

Le parking est très mal agencé. On peux rester quelques minutes devant la barrière avant qu’un réceptionniste ait la gentillesse z bien vouloir l’ouvrir.

Mobiliar veraltet, Leder-Stuhl zerschlissen, unfreundliches Personal. Abendessen hatte ich nicht vorgebucht, also konnte ich auch mit entsprechender Bezahlung nichts bekommen.

Very good location for town centre. Nice public areas and pool. Very good breakfast buffet.

Dinner was well produced, but is limited in choice and is rapidly delivered with a sense that the staff want you to eat up and let us go home. A smile from the head waiter might help.

We arrived at the hotel about 9pm and the only food available was a ham/cheese toastie which we do not eat ham. Asked if it was possible for your staff to order a pizza for us and I would pay and was told that this is not included in our services. The problem was a lot of restaurants close early and my 94 is not a big walker.

Top Lage nahe dem Zentrum - gut zu Fuß zu erreichen. Kleiner aber feiner Pool im Innenhof Frühstücksbuffett war in Ordnung, Personal stets freundlich und zuvorkommend.

Parkmöglichkeiten etwas eingeschränkt - hatte was von "Tetris" spielen..... Schöne Dachterrasse, die allerdings nicht (oder zumindest nicht für die Zeit unseres Aufenthaltes) für Besucher vorgesehen ist - da könnte man mehr draus machen! ;-)

When one arrives at the hotel late 9pm the only offer is ham/cheese toastie. Asked for the staff to order a pizza which they said was not part of their job. Understand but not very helpful.

The property it is good located close to old town and lake view

The room was looking really old, i had the feeling it was used before for the employes.The air conditioning was too noisy and in the bathroom the smell was awful. The bathroom had a big window, it were over 30 degrees Celsius that you can barely breathe at the shower.

tutti servizi molto qualificati, reception, colazioni, e piscina al top, molto attenti alle esigenze del cliente, arrivati alle 9,15, abbiamo avuto possibilità di lasciare bagagli per poter visitare le isole e rientrare primo pomeriggio per tuffarsi in piscina, anche se per una notte, vissuta la breve vacanza, appieno.
