Hotel Regina Palace

Ein tolles Hotel in perfekter Lage. Man fühlt sich etwas in der Zeit zurückversetzt - als alles gefühlt noch etwas prachtvoller und schöner war.

Das Frühstück ist recht schön, aber aus meiner Sicht der Pracht des Hotels nicht ganz angemessen. Das Rührei kam aus dem Tetrapack und für richtiges Spiegelei oder Omelett sollte man ca. 15€ zahlen. Das passt nicht zusammen. Das Personal auch beim Frühstück aber absolut top! Super höflich und schnell.

We loved the entire experience. The hotel is exceptional in terms of its location, service, and facilities. It is luxurious and spacious, with wonderful indoor and outdoor pools and an excellent spa. The breakfast was generous and indulgent, and the hotel’s location directly across from the lake made our stay even more special. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there.

There was nothing we didn’t like. The hotel exceeded our expectations.

Really nice property with a nice aesthetic. Tennis court and a very nice pool area. The staff was extremely helpful, especially Rebecca at the front desk. We had issues with a transfer to the airport from another company and she helped us greatly!

Excellent location with views of lake from hotel. Good breakfast options in a lovely setting. Plenty of car parking in underground car park. Amazing decor and fittings throughout hotel and bedrooms.

Ridiculous policy regarding in room mini bar/fridge (5 euro a day to store your own water in the fridge!!). No courtesy water provided. No tea/coffee making facilities in room. Very poor quality towels in room.

Posizione stupenda e giardini meravigliosi come la cura della struttura esterna impeccabile. Una struttura troppo affollata da gruppi e si ha la perfezione di essere un numero e non ospite. Le camere che ho occupato nelle più occasioni non particolarmente fresche e rinnovate.Lo staff del ristorante in piscina molto accogliente. Prima colazione molto invitante e varia Sono stati disponibili per l' uso della piscina prima del check in.

Un po' caro su alcune camere disponibili.

This hotel is excellent and a completely wonderful surprise. Step into old-world luxury and enjoy the type of service and special touches that no longer exist in most modern hotels! Staff are all amazing and super friendly, rooms are luxe, spa and facilities are gorgeous and breakfast is outstanding!

Only thing “missing” is a beach area and there were some mosquitos at the outdoor pool… but we didn’t mind as everything else more than made up for it!

J'ai beaucoup aimé le charme Belle Époque, allié à tout le confort moderne, de l'établissement. Une mention spéciale pour la piscine extérieure et son très joli jardin.

As pictured location was good

Very strong perfume smell in rooms that made us have a headache and feel nauseous. Staff was not very helpful - said I should have let them know ahead of time but of course I couldn’t have known that they spray heavy perfume in the room. We also send a message to Booking for help and it said we would get a message back but either did not or missed the message. I have screenshot if you’d like to have it.

Make no mistake. She’s old. And with that, all the good that comes with it. Over the top dates decor that is incredibly impressive to see and experience today. A grand old dame that forgot about time, and who still wears all her vintage jewelry to make an impression today. Get ready for the time warp in all her glory. Great service and staff and a full breakfast spread! (Oh and that pool is a winner!)

Ro was a bit dates and dark (i did book the cheqpest option). The menu proces at bar is also fairly high compared to other areas and hitels

Wir waren zum zweiten Mal hier, das sagt eigentlich schon alles. Tolle Lage, ein Zimmer, wie wenn man im Museum übernachtet, ein tolles Frühstück, oft auch im Freien, ein großer Wellness - Bereich, uns hat es wieder sehr gut gefallen.

Un établissement haut de gamme à tous les niveaux : une chambre spacieuse dans un hôtel magnifique, un petit-déjeuner copieux, un personnel attentionné et très professionnel, une piscine extérieure et une piscine intérieure, un splendide parc fleuri, un parking en sous-sol sécurisé, un emplacement au centre ville,

Le prix du parking pourrait être intégré et banalisé dans le prix global du séjour, compte tenu du standing de l'hôtel, au lieu d'afficher un prix de 20 euros par jour.

Buffet du petit déjeuner excellent. La vue sur le lac.

L’hôtel n’est pas insonorisé correctement. Nous avons été réveillé par une bande de fetards qui étaient à l’étage au dessus. C’était un bruit infernal et qui a duré plus d’une demi-heure. La climatisation qui se trouve au plafond a coulé toute la nuit et le matin il y avait une grande flaque d’eau dans laquelle j’ai glissé sans me faire mal heureusement.

Un hôtel idéal face aux îles borromées qui propose une décoration très soignée. Le petit-déjeuner offre un large choix et un cadre magnifique grâce à sa terrasse. Le personnel était très professionnel et à l'écoute. La piscine est très grande et présente de nombreux transats et parasols.

Nous avons observé un petit bémol concernant l'espace piscine : les serviettes censées être fournies ne sont plus disponibles à partir de 18h, alors que la piscine ferme plus tard.

Always a pleasure to spend some time at Regina Palace ! Everything at the top ! Beautiful swimming pools, two connecting bedrooms with amazing lake views ! Again a perfect stay !

Sehr gute Lage, super zentrumsnah. Staff sehr kompetent und lösungsorientiert, insbesondere die Rezeption. Schönes, geschichtsträchtiges Hotel, wenn man nicht "modern" wohnen will.

Handtuchausgabe im Garten nur bis 18:00 möglich. SPA Bereich deutlich zu klein und Liegebereich unterdimensioniert. Muss man Glück haben, einen Platz zu finden. Minibar wurde an eine externe Firma ausgelagert. Wenn man Inhalt nur verschiebt, kann man zur Kassa gebeten werden.

Das Doppel-Zimmer mit Blick auf den See war wunderbar. Die Klimaanlage hat sehr gut funktioniert. Das Frühstück mit der grossen Auswahl an Speisen hat unsere Erwartungen übertroffen.

Das Einzelzimmer war sehr klein und hatte keinen Ausblick.

This is undoubtedly one of those hotels that allows us to travel back to a period in history our parents and grandparents enjoyed. It is worth your while to have a look at the ceilings and the intricate design of the marble floors. The presentation is historical luxury. If you have a lakeside room, you will be well rewarded by the décor and the amazing view – it’s stunning. The breakfast is very good, with enough to satisfy most tastes. A trip down to the “Sporting Centre” is well worth it. The gym may be somewhat small but adequate; the pool and Jacuzzis surrounded by rocks are beautiful.

Breakfast is amazing. All of the facilities (outside pool, inside pool/sauna/snow room/steam room) are very clean and super nice. The rooms are gorgeous. The entire hotel is overall absolutely stunning.

For the price they should have free parking. It is 3 euro/hour or 20 euros/day (after I believe 6 hrs). And for an hotel like this, charging 20 euro/day quite honestly doesn't look good. Moreover not everyone that is at the front desk tells you that if you park inside and then go back to the desk and ask them they will do something on the ticket that will allow you to park in out as you wish (otherwise if you park and after a couple of hrs you need to take your car you must pay and then start over with a new ticket when you drive into the garage).

Je suis resté 2 nuits et la chambre n'a pas été refaite entre les 2 nuits. La réponse apportée par l'hotel n'a pas été adéquate.

Hotel is absolutely beautiful with wonderful historical decor. Huge parking garage on the site, large pool area, beautiful poolside restaurant, prime location in beautiful Stresa.

Les chambres sont très différentes les unes des autres, certaines sont petites et il n'est pas possible d'ouvrir la fenêtre

המלון מזמין, יפה מאוד, נקי ומטופח, ממש הרגשה של פאר. גודל החדר מצוין, שירות אדיב, ארוחת בוקר מצוינת, צוות מאוד שירותי. להיות בחדר הצופה לאגם עם מרפסת עושה את ההבדל. המיקום של המלון במרחק הליכה ממרכז סטרזה, מהנמל, מחוף האגם, מהמעבורת לאיים. יש חניה במלון, מה שעושה את ההבדל למגיעים עם רכב. מתקני הספא טובים מאוד שווה לשהות ולהירגע במקום.

אין קומקום חשמלי, אין מגהץ וגם לא ניתן לקבל, אלא בתשלום. זרם המים במקלחת קצת נמוך אבל לא משפיע על איכות השהייה.

La camera ed il bagno (da pochi mesi complentamente rifatto) tutto perfetto! Molto gradita la camera al quarto piano ( avevo chiesto piano alto e cosi è stato) con ben due balconcini ( fronte lago entrambi) con fiori, tavolino e due sedie.

La Spa, molto bella e ben curata ma priva di almeno un addetto (non presidiata).

Grandioses Hotel, mit wunderbarem Jugendstilcharme an jeder Ecke, dies Erbe wird sehr wertgeschätzt und gepflegt. Perfekter Service, sehr freundliche und zuvorkommende Mitarbeiter, sehr gutes Frühstück, der Blick von der Terrasse auf den See dabei ist sehr schön. Der Pool und die große Liegewiese sind bestens.

Das Bad im Zimmer ist schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen, die Matratze war relativ hart, der vom Hotel darauf gelegte Topper half nicht sehr.

Die Lage des Hotels ist Top (Zentrumnähe, direkt am See). Das Personal haben wir sehr zuvorkommend und aufmerksam wahrgenommen. Frühstücksbuffet war gut. Das historische alte Hotel hat seinen Charme, man merkt aber doch, dass es in die Jahre gekommen ist.

Die Betten waren eine Katastrophe. Quietschen bei jeder Bewegung (zumal sie nur aus einem Metallgestell + Matratzen bestehen), Matratzen sind durchgelegen und die Kissen hoch und hart. Der Pool öffnet erst um 10 Uhr und schließt schon um 18 Uhr. Auch gibt es eine Mittagspause bei der wegen dem fehlenden Bademeister der Pool eigentlich geschlossen ist. Die Preise für Getränke sind ziemlich hoch. (z.B.: 7 EUR für ein Bier)

Tout le reste. Services nuls. Réception pas agréable. Équipements en chambre minimum (1 seul oreiller, pas de fer ou steamer ou service repassage dans l’hôtel, pas d’eau de bienvenue dans les chambres). Le petit déjeuner bas de gamme avec des produits incroyablement cheap (pas d’omelette sauf sup 12€ et 10€ pour œuf à la coque, pas de service crêpes, pas de jus de fruits frais sauf supplément de 10€). Yaourts aux fruits uniquement dans une vasque non réfrigérée. Confitures horribles en emballage plastique individuel Notre chambre très petite. Literie mauvaise. Piscine avec transats inaccessibles le week-end et eau limite un peu trouble. On a le sentiment que toute personne même extérieure a l’hôtel peut accéder à la piscine. Bref, très bel hôtel belle époque, avec emplacement excellent. Mon conseil : allez le voir et éventuellement prenez-y l’apéritif, mais n’y séjournez pas !!! 300€/j en août certes pour des prestations 1 a 2 étoiles max ce n’est pas admissible. On pensait séjourner dans un palace, on est tombés de haut. Préférez dans le voisinage immédiat des hôtels modernes 4* !!

Tolle Lage in Stresa, ideal beispielsweise fussläufig zur Altstadt mit angenehmen Restaurants und zu den Anlegestellen zu den Schiffen auf dem Lago Maggiore. Besonders angenehm: großes Parkhaus bei ansonsten schwierigen Parkverhältnissen in der Innenstadt von Stresa. Frühstück auf der Terrasse mit direktem Blick auf den See ist ein Traum. Sehr freundliche Mitarbeiter in allen Bereichen.

Double Queen bed made up of 2 single beds and mattresses not well connected and splitting during the night.. A high level hotel like this must plan for a full double queen/king bed with only 1 double mattress. The jacuzzi of the beautiful couple massage room was a little dirty. The 2 balconies of the fantastic Junior suite room are extremely small barely accommodating for 2 small chairs.

Aussenpool nur bis 18.00 offen. Tennisplatz nicht lange offen. Tagsüber war es so heiss, das man sich abends länger draussen aufhält. Daher pool zu früh geschlossen und auch Tennis/Fussballplatz. Schade gewesen, v.a. für meine Kids. 15 Jährig.

Excellent emplacement, face au lac , près du village . Chambre confortable, mobilier et décor un poil vieillot mais classe Buffet du petit déjeuner très fourni , varié et produits de qualité. Personnel chaleureux . Bâtiment toilettes et douches vers la piscine très pratique et très propre . Piscine intérieure en forme de grotte très agréable

Impossible de prendre le petit déjeuner sur la terrasse extérieure car prise d assaut Le responsable de la piscine est un vrai cerbère : les enfants n ont aucune possibilité de jouer ( les adultes non plus d ailleurs ) : pas de balle , pas de sauts , bref pas bouger !! La rangée de transats en hauteur est située sur des dalles tellement sales qu on n ose même pas y marcher pieds nus !! Un nettoyage s y impose !!!

Très bel hôtel, chic et parfaitement situé à Stresa. Chambre très confortable, piscines suffisamment grandes pour nager, court de tennis, ambiance très cosy dans le parc et les salons de l’hôtel, excellent petit déjeuner, personnel très serviable.

Le Palace, les jardins et la piscine sont très beaux.

En 9 jours, aucun savon.pour la douche n'a été fourni, 1 seul petit flacon de lait pour le corps fourni durant tt le séjour, et seulement après avoir réclamé 2 fois. Le service laisse à désirer et c'est bien dommage car le Palace est splendide. Le petit déjeuner est assez banal et peu varié pr un palace.

L'hotel est un hôtel emblématique de Stresa, très bien situé, calme et bien équipé. le décor belle époque si l'on aime est assez remarquable.

J'avais réservé une "suite junior", or la chambre que nous avons eu ne correspondait pas aux photos mais surtout la superficie de la chambre ne correspondait pas au descriptif de Booking. La chambre présentée en photo possédait un petit salon sur le coté ( d'où le nom de "suite", je suppose) , or celle que nous avons eu, était petite, avec des fauteuils serrés contre le lit. Il y a quand même une différence de prix importante entre cette "suite junior" et une chambre standard et je fus extrêmement déçue d'avoir eu une chambre standard et de payer aussi cher . A la réception, ils n'ont pas voulu changé. Je ne retournerai pas dans cet hôtel.
