Die Lage ist genial, die Aussicht von der freien Dachterasse ist super. Alles ist sauber, die Betten sind bequem, und das Personal (Rezeption, Doorman, Reinigungskraft) sehr freundlich. Lediglich der Herr, der das Frühstück auffüllt war nicht sonderlich freundlich. Das Frühstück war für uns genau richtig, ein paar Süßstücke, Wasser, und Obst zum mitnehmen. Im Hotel sind mehrere Wasserspender verteilt, wo man Flaschen auffüllen kann. Wir hatten 3 Standartdoppelzimmer gebucht. Aufgrund eines Fehlers waren die nicht verfügbar, und wir bekamen kostenlos ein upgrade auf 2 Juniorsuiten und eins der Standartzimmer. Die Standartzimmer sind wirklich eng, die Juniorsuiten sind ein Traum!

Einziges Manko, es gab ab dem 3. Tag keinen Kaffee und keinen Tee mehr, weil Wasserkocher und Kaffeemaschine wohl kaputt waren. Aber gegenüber vom Hotel stand ein Wagen, dort konnte man Kaffee für 1,50 kaufen. (Nur Bargeld). Drumherum gibts für Kartenzahler auch Starbucks oder Dunkin Donuts, der kostet der Kaffee aber wesentlich mehr.

Location was good.

Room was so-so. View of a concrete wall. It was very basic. Toilet in bathroom is too close to wall and shower was complicated as I had to search for the hot water (turn faucet TWICE around). Understaffed when I arrived Wednesday evening.

The staff was friendly and attentive, and were able to fix any issues that I had in a timely fashion. The overall ambiance of the hotel, and the room were very nice.

My only negative is related to the room key issues that I had. The key didn't always work properly and sometimes took up to three tries of flashing green before the door would click open. At one point, the key stopped working in the elevator and had to be re-keyed.

The staff were professional, friendly and helpful. The location was convenient to the metro and centrally located. The neighborhood was quiet enough. The room was big and clean.

The view of the one small window was of the roof heating/cooling systems. The window had black masking tape around the edges. The room was a little dark. The energy rating was a D.

Check-in was very smooth, accomodating to our early check-in request as there was availability. Also very helpful in arranging transportation to JFK at an early hour.

Common areas are a bit tight.

Location and manager honesty

Manager contacted me 3 days before arrival to tell me they had a leak and the room I picked would not be available. They offered me another room that was about 200square feet smaller with a free standing aiconditioner, (I noticed that it had a very ugly decor upon arrival). I explained that if it was nice and space enough for me and my puppy, I could stay in it. But upon arrival, it was clear it was not close to expectations. I regretted my choice on having accepted it over the phone. The room proposed was ugly, old, noisy freestanding aicon (not all of them are noisy and that was not explained to me beforehand). I was offered an alternative room, smaller and without balcony, nice decor, no rate reduction (only given no pet fee, which I would have been happy to pay if offered a similar room), but it was the only choice. I could not go elsewhere at such short notice. So, manager honesty was nice, but I was only given a free pet stay and stayed in an inferior room. The staff at the reception seemed unable to handle more than one client at a time and I had to wait for check in, Others were very friendly.

The location was great— far enough from the noise and chaos but convenient to the subway and lots of great stores and restaurants. Our corner room was spacious for an NYC hotel room!

The rooms need some updating, but they were clean so it didn’t bother us much.

We stay here all the time, its pretty centrally located. Walking distance to Central park and just a subway ride over to time square. During the day it's active and busy with people going to work and at night it dies down.

Unfortunately the area seems to be dying down. Local restaurants and bars nearby are closing down. At night there's not much to do nearby .

I fell in LOVE with your staff, so friendly all of them, especially the sweet Japanese lady that always had a smile one her face, WOW, I just didn't expect all this! This Hotel57 was perfect for what I needed. Thank you so much.. I have a feeling I'll be back!!!!! I live in the Rocky Mountains for heavens sake.

I would of liked a better view outside my window but it really didn't matter. I would of like to had breakfast at the hotel but that didn't seem to matter very much either. There were plenty of places to find food.

Easy to get around the city. The staff was wonderful and very friendly.

Housekeepers didn’t change the sheets when requested. Only made the bed and put the same sheets back on even after putting the request sheets change card on the bed. Besides that everything was great

Everything. The hotel is so old. Old dusty carpets. Old uncomfortable pillows. Conditioner smelt horrible. No water in the room either. There is a water dispenser in the gym, but no cups! The worst hotel I have ever stayed in in my life.

De locatie was uitstekend en alles was schoon. Het zelf inchecken verliep snel en eenvoudig. Het personeel was bovendien zeer behulpzaam en vriendelijk.

Had to move from first room (due to odor and lack of closet) to another which featured a broken chair and bed. Bed not comfortable. Overall the hotel has ugly decor and is not maintained. Lobby is dark and the former room used for breakfast/something is now cordoned off --- only if you ask do you know that the room can be accessed.

Location was perfect for Central Park and nearby sites. Staff were incredible and especially helpful in assisting with a transport issue.

Good location, and 24-hour fitness center

Everything is run down. There are virtually no amenities other than the fitness center (which is decent). The bed was lumpy, the sheets had stains on them, various knobs and handles were loose, the rug was stained, etc. My windows looked out on a garbage alley.

Bed was very very comfortable and I slept well. Pillows and duvet were super comfortable. Plenty of walking space for a hotel room in Manhattan but this was for accessible reasons as was the bathroom.

However there is no fridge in the room. Closet space was awkward as hanging bar was low and difficult to hang clothes. Bathtub was too slippery when showering, I actually slipped and fell, and nearly hit my head against the marble edge if not for safety railings. And the constant rumbling of the elevators (right next to room) could be distracting at night. No breakfast places within 3 blocks unless it was a coffee bar.

Listed as having a bar and restaurant, didn't have either. HVAC made weird thumping noises in the wall.

1. hotellet ligger på hjørnet af 2 trafikerede veje, og der var dårlig lydisolering, så der var meget trafikstøj, selv på 13. etage. 2. slidt værelse og inventar 3. ventiltoren LARMEDE helt utroligt 4. bestilte med morgenmad gennem booking.com, selvom det viste sig, at hotellet ikke har en restaurant. Jeg fik kuponer til nærliggende cafe som kompensation, men jeg kan se samme anmeldelser siden 2024 - mærkeligt at det ikke er rettet 5. meget lydt på værelset fra gangen, hvor der blev rumsteret meget rundt. Jeg har aldrig boet på så meget larm på et hotel før, dog ikke pga de andre gæster.

Although the room was on the smaller side, it was incredibly cozy and thoughtfully designed with absolutely everything I needed. The space was perfectly clean, and I especially loved the wonderful smell of the shampoo.

I am writing to share my severe disappointment with my recent stay. The soundproofing in the rooms is virtually non-existent; the walls are so thin that the road noise was unacceptably loud. To make matters worse, at approximately 3:00 AM, the couple in the adjacent room was loudly fighting for over an hour, and we could hear every word. The entire night was an absolute nightmare. I was unable to get any sleep and had to go to work the next day completely exhausted. I expected a restful environment and was deeply let down.

The location is good the hotel is tired and needs smartening up, especially for the $500+ per night that we paid. The staff are lovely and helpful. The gym is grungy. The shower and bed worked and were comfortable. It just seems an insane process to pay for what it was. Also we had to pay a $40 “resort fee.” That was outrageous for WiFi and the gym…

Unbeatable location, nice and spacious bathroom, very clean room but the rugs looked old and seemed that they need to be renewed

Housekeeping start their work early in the mornings and they use to knock on doors to check if guests are there or not, which makes the place noisy and doesn’t allow guests to sleeping in if desired. They interrupted our sleep several times. Also, room was tiny (that’s typical in NYC though) and there wasn’t a fridge in it

Nous avons demandé la veille de notre départ si nous pouvions laisser les valises lors du Check out car notre vol était tard. on nous a répondu oui bien sûr. Le lendemain on nous a dit non pas possible ! Il était midi … la responsable est venue pas très aimable elle a confirmé pas possible !!! Elle ne nous a même pas dit au revoir. Nous avons dû nous débrouiller seules pour trouver un endroit pour faire garder nos valises, payant bien sûr . Dommage cela nous a gâché le séjour qui s’était bien déroulé et tous les autres personnels étaient sympas …
