Good location.

Wasn’t really a place you could get something to eat.

Hotel bardzo czysty i komfortowy. Pokoje również czyste, niczego nie brakowało, mini aneks wyposażony. Hotel jest dobrze wygłuszony. Największe plusy tego hotelu to dla mnie automat do nalewania wody z butelkami oraz bezapelacyjnie lokalizacja. Mieliśmy pokój z tarasem i widoki są cudne (na Katedrę św. Patryka oraz Radio City Music Hall). Wszędzie było blisko, najważniejsze atrakcje „pod ręką”, zdecydowanie polecam!

The location of the hotel was fantastic and the room was comfortable and clean.

I found the room a little basic for the price and we had an internal view of an office block which was disappointing as I was hoping for a view of the street (51st street/5th avenue) as shown in the promotional pictures (I should have requested this prior to arrival).

The staff were very friendly and helpful - 10/10 The room was a generous size for New York - enough room to put our things and not trip over them. We had what we needed in the bathroom. Our events were in Rockefeller Plaza and nearby on Fifth Ave, so the location was excellent. The bed was very comfortable withe room on both sides, a light and a small shelf.

All the over-large pillows were soft - would have preferred one soft and one firm. We prefer a small fridge in the room. The high-end coffee in the living room was nice and we used it, but I would have preferred to pay less (facility fee) and have a fridge instead.

The location and staff were exceptional. Walking distance to Times Square, subways, Central Park and all the wonderfulness of the midtown/upper east side. I was there for 5 nights preparing my daughter to move into her dorm for college and the front desk staff everyday was so warm, caring and took the time to make the transition so much easier with great conversation throughout each day. Beds were comfy too after a long day of walking.

I would probably ask for a room facing Rockefeller center to enjoy the city life when we in the room.

The location is unbeatable. In the heart of Manhattan, walking distance from many attractions, as well as many options for public transport. The staff is nice and discreet. The laundry room and water/coffee available are a big plus.

The furniture is very old which makes the room dated; also the walls are in desperate need of fresh paint. Still, despite this, the cleaning staff does a great job. The room at the 4th floor was very loud, had to use earplugs.

The location could not be better. Right next to the Rockefeller center, near the today show etc! The street is not busy! The hotel room was very quiet. The room we had was not big, no view but quiet. We travel very light so if you carry too many bags you may not like it. I loved the common room for coffee and the washer dryer for those of us who travel light. It has the detergent there all free! My favorite thing was the staff. We spoke with Jessie the most and he gave us great tips for seeing things. The staff, location and small hotel is a place I will return again to.

Se estiver com crianças, é super facil de chegar na Nintendo, Lego Store ou FAO Schwarz em horários fora de pico (inicio do expediente), basta passear até lá. Hotel super silencioso. Dispõe de garrafas de agua e maquinas de café a vontade.

The best thing about our stay was the staff. Jessie was particularly friendly in the lobby and went out of his way to help our kids. But all were genuinely kind and helpful which was much appreciated. The beds were extremely comfortable (pillows were bit lumpy though). The filtered water is a big plus.

We felt the room was a little dingy and could do with a bit of a makeover.

Central location, close to Rockefeller Center, Central Park and Times Square. The staff were very helpful and service was smooth throughout our stay. The rooms were also kept clean.

The room layouts were quite awkward. One of our original rooms had an extremely narrow passage between the bed and the wall, with the TV protruding into it, so it was very easy to bump into when walking past. We were moved to different rooms, which were slightly smaller but avoided that particular issue. Unfortunately, the air conditioning in the replacement rooms was problematic. In one room the bed was positioned directly beside the A/C unit, making it uncomfortable to sleep. In the other, the temperature control did not work properly — the room would either become extremely cold, around 15°C, or the A/C would switch off, rather than maintaining the temperature selected. The shower water pressure was also very weak, which made showering unnecessarily difficult.

It was very clean, the bed was very comfortable and the staff was very friendly and flexible.

The central location

It was my Second time at the jewel hotel in two months. This time I had to use beside the elevetor the stairs to go to my room. The staff was not very nice….

The location of the facility was very nice, it was very close to every point, it was a great convenience for us for the New York trip

What he doesn’t like in the facility is on the coffee floor, I think it could have to be in his snacks, it could have been a small vending machine, food vending machine

The room was probably the most practically designed hotel room I’ve stayed in, really enjoyed that. Also the most comfortable hotel bed I’ve ever slept in. Incredible location! The Nespresso in the room and the purified water station in the hallway were key. The details are not missed here. I will be back and will recommend to all my friends.

I would have loved a soap dish in the bathroom, and the shower grout could have used a bleach. Very minor details for an otherwise incredible stay.

The room functioned well. Lots of amenities. Didnt need for anything. Rooms were very quiet, the windows blocked all the street noise. The air-conditioning very easy to use and very effective. Superb location really. Staff very welcoming and engaging. Nothing too much trouble. Bed/pillows really comfortable.

This hotel is cute as kittens, small and cuddly and alert, well groomed (spotless) and such a calm and quiet contrast to the bustling brawny midtown environment in which it is brilliantly situated. Second floor street-facing but heard hardly a whisper from outside or the AC.

Once we get into our room, everything was good

Check-in was awful. Their credit card machine broke, or so they said, and could not charge us for accidentals. And that one they refused to check-in anyone though they could find my reservation and see that my reservation was prepaid. It is the first time I saw a mess like that anywhere.

Excellent location, views of St Patrick’s cathedral and the Rockefeller Centre from our room. Complimentary coffee lounge on the 2nd floor was a much appreciated bonus.

The Jewel is located in a perfect spot for many attractions including Radio City, St. Patrick’s Cathedral, Broadway theaters and several nice restaurants. The hotel itself has typically small rooms like a NYC hotel, but we have certainly stayed in smaller. We also had a room that was not on the street side so it was actually very quiet. The staff was friendly enough, with just one minor exception. Depending on where our future plans take us in NYC we would definitely stay at The Jewel again.

I almost don’t want to share about this gem, The Jewel Hotel! After staying all over the city (and even just over in NJ), this is our go-to for short stays and longer ones. Location is perfect. You do have to walk a little for a subway station but we don’t always take the subway. Walking from this spot can get you almost anywhere as it’s so central. The rooms are varied and this time I had a mini-fridge which was great. Rooms have always been clean with beds and pillows that are super comfortable. I stayed on a higher floor where traffic was somewhat muted but I could still hear the bells of St. Patrick’s Cathedral. I will say some surfaces (like the wood base of an ottoman) show some wear but I did not think that it was getting tired. The price is very reasonable. I’ve stayed in worse places for much more money! The staff is 100 percent what makes this hotel such a pleasant place to stay. If you are used to chain hotels or fancy boutique ones, please look at the photos so you manage your expectations. Oh and the refillable water stations are great to have when you need.

The Jewel is perfectly located. The staff is kind, professional and approachable. The room was extremely clean. The rooms are small and can be noisy, but that's to be expected in NYC. Overall, a perfect stay!

Its a nice boutique hotel..comfy beds centrally located. Coffee machine a washer a dryer if needed..they do have a gym but its personal too small and hot. But I'm not there for a gym..easy to get a round everything in walking distance.. This is not a big chain hotel don't expect a grand lobby its personal and perfect.. Staff is excellent rooms are clean.. My only thing gets us some mini frigs rather have that then the coffee pot cause the one on the 2nd floor is much better.... But overall a nice spot and the pizza spot next store is awesome

Great location and wonderful boutique hotel. I love the living room on floor 2 and the filtered water on each floor. The workout room is not great, but while in NYC, do you really need a full gym?

Location is the best, hotel areas clean and funtional, rooms are very well distributed and good space, noise was CERO, and we were in front of fan fest for WC2026, service nice, I fully recommend.

Tout était formidable pour notre usage: l'emplacement à côté du Rockefeller Center, la gentillesse du personnel de la réception, la taille et la propreté de la chambre, le confort des lits, la qualité de l'air conditionné, le petit frigo et les bouteilles d'eau filtrée, la pièce au 2ème étage qui permettait de prendre une boisson chaude et d'apporter ses aliments à manger, en particulier pour le petit déjeuner (attention, il n'y a pas de petit déjeuner proposé à l'hôtel, pas de couverts ni d'assiettes, seulement des cups pour le thé ou le café).

Pas vraiment de vue depuis notre chambre (vue sur des bureaux et, en levant la tête, sur un coin de ciel pour vérifier le temps qu'il faisait), une salle de gym très minimaliste (une machine à câbles, des vélos et vélos elliptiques pour le cardio, un banc un peu bancale) et un peu surchauffée (la machine à laver et la sécheuse sont dans le même espace).

The Jewel is named for what it is. It's a Jewel!!! Perfect location for walking to stores, restaurants and Time Square! Every time we visit NY this is where we stay..I would highly suggest a room with a balcony for the beautiful views from sunrise to sunset! The staff is friendly and very helpful! 10 out of 10!

Excellent Boutique Hotel in an extraordinary location ... very peaceful and safe with an attentive staff and personal care !!! Room was really quiet and had a very confortable bed, pillows with cool air conditioning, coffee maker in each room and purified water dispenser on every floor. We shall return for sure to this Oasis in the middle of this bustling great city !!!

We had a wonderful stay at The Jewel Hotel. The location is absolutely perfect—close to incredible shopping and less than a 20-minute walk from Times Square and Central Park, making it easy to explore New York on foot. The hotel was exceptionally clean, comfortable, and surprisingly quiet considering its central location. What truly made our stay memorable was the staff. Everyone was warm, welcoming, and consistently went above and beyond to help us. Their level of service made us feel genuinely cared for throughout our visit. The rooms were well maintained, the beds were comfortable, and having so many restaurants, shops, and major attractions nearby was incredibly convenient. I would absolutely stay at The Jewel again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a clean, friendly, and perfectly located hotel in New York City.
