Excellent stay overall — the room, service, and staff were outstanding. The team was consistently friendly and attentive throughout the 3 nights.

After checkout, I was stopped by gate security and sent back to reception over a missing bathrobe, with an accusation that I had taken it. I hadn’t — it turned out to still be in the room. Being accused and delayed at the gate after a smooth checkout was an unnecessary and unprofessional way to end the stay.

كانت هذه أول تجربة لي في هذا الفندق، وبصراحة كانت تجربة ممتازة جدًا من جميع النواحي. الموقع رائع وقريب من كل شيء، والموظفون متعاونون وخدومون جدًا جد، وأخص بالشكر الأستاذ محمد ربيع، وكذلك فريق النظافة في الطابق الثاني عشر على حسن تعاملهم واهتمامهم اللامحدود. الطعام كان ممتازًا جدًا، والإطلالة كانت رائعة وأضفت الكثير إلى جمال الإقامة. أنا سعيدة جدًا بهذه التجربة، وبالتأكيد سأختار هذا الفندق مرة أخرى في زياراتي القادمة. شكرًا لكم على حسن الضيافة والخدمة المميزة

الملاحظة الوحيدة التي لم تعجبني هي أن سعر الإقامة كان مرتفعًا جدًا مقارنةً بالسعر الذي كنت أتوقعه، وأتمنى أن تكون الأسعار مستقبلًا أكثر تنافسية

We really enjoyed our stay at the Nile Ritz Carlton Cairo. The hotel is in a great location, right next to the Egyptian Museum. The Nile view from the room was spectacular. The staff was outstanding, particularly concierge Marwan who helped us with several reservations. The restaurant had delicious food and nightly entertainment. We felt very safe and well cared for in this hotel.

The stay exceeded my expectations. The location is excellent, the room was comfortable and exceptionally clean, and the facilities were outstanding. The staff were professional, welcoming, and attentive throughout my stay.

There was nothing significant that I disliked during my stay. Everything was well organized and maintained to the high standard expected from The Ritz-Carlton.

For a short period of time what you want is smooth stay i did not get it . I was shifted from my room after unpacking for a reason that "there is a gas leakage" and then " this room is dedicated for handicapped personal " so what happend is someone wanted the room and i was locked from entering the room while my stuff are inside to made me move to anther room with bad ac 😅 and then moved again to a "suit" as compenstation nothing can compinsate time and the hussel of dealing with the reception that keeps lying I asked for the manager : wait but did not come I asked for ac service : he is up but never came Bottom line : i wont recommend staying here

Good: Great location, Good Breakfast, Friendly Service, Clean Rooms, Security Bad: Lot's of parties over the week end so it can get little noisy. Details: I had a great stay at the Ritz-Carlton Cairo. The location is excellent, making it easy to explore the city and nearby attractions. The breakfast offered a wide variety of delicious options, the staff was consistently friendly and attentive, and the rooms were clean, comfortable, and well maintained. I also appreciated the strong security, which made the hotel feel very safe throughout my stay. One thing to keep in mind is that the hotel hosts quite a few parties on the weekends, so it can get a bit noisy at night. If you're a light sleeper, you may want to request a room away from the event areas. Overall, it's an excellent hotel with outstanding service, a prime location, and great amenities. I would definitely stay here again.

What a wonderful gesture! As soon as they found out that we have a 5-year-old daughter, they surprised her with a kids' bathrobe, slippers, and a children's bag. It was such a thoughtful touch that brought so much joy to both my wife and my daughter. To make our stay even more special, it happened to be my birthday. I never mentioned it to them, yet they still surprised me with a birthday cake. It was an unexpected and heartwarming gesture. They truly pay attention to the smallest details and go the extra mile to make their guests feel special. These thoughtful initiatives made our stay memorable, and we genuinely appreciated their outstanding hospitality.

plusieurs aspects sont très en dessous du niveau attendu pour un hôtel portant le nom Ritz-Carlton. Le personnel, dans l’ensemble, ne m’a pas semblé suffisamment professionnel. Le service manquait de rigueur et d’attention. C’était particulièrement flagrant au restaurant Bab El-Sharq, où les serveurs semblaient peu formés aux standards de l’hôtellerie de luxe. Le service était ordinaire et ne procurait absolument pas l’impression de vivre une expérience haut de gamme. L’hôtel était également très bruyant. Pendant notre séjour, plusieurs mariages étaient organisés dans les salles de réception et dans les jardins, à proximité du restaurant. La musique était très forte jusque tard dans la soirée, ce qui rendait les nuits difficiles. À certains moments, l’hôtel ressemblait davantage à un lieu d’événements qu’à un établissement de luxe où les clients viennent se reposer. La propreté laisse aussi à désirer. La chambre qui nous a été attribuée avait une forte odeur de cigarette. Les moquettes, aussi bien dans les couloirs que dans les chambres, étaient visiblement usées et peu propres, ce qui est surprenant pour un établissement de cette catégorie. Je suis sincèrement déçue. Le nom Ritz-Carlton crée des attentes très élevées en matière de qualité de service, de confort et d’expérience client. Ayant séjourné dans d’autres établissements luxueux, je peux dire que le Ritz du Caire est très loin des standards auxquels je m’attendais. Cette expérience me fera réfléchir à deux fois avant de réserver un Ritz-Carlton à l’avenir.

We didn't stay here, we only had dinner after our visit to the Museum and it was an excellent experience. I remember had 2 dessert since I couldn't decide which one to get. Had a Lamb Shank for main course, and it was tender and tasty. I saw this draft review now that I'm planning again to return to Egypt (late post) and see the new Museum. Food prices in Egypt is much cheaper compared to my lunch in California. Staff here are very friendly.

We had beautiful 6 days in The Nile Ritz-Carlton hotel. Stuff was super friendly, room spacious with complete, roomhigh windowfront, overlooking the River Nile, from the 11th floor. A special thanks to all the busy roomboys around Said for keeping our room 24 hours in perfect shape.

This hotel was one of the most memorable parts of our time in Cairo. From the moment we arrived, the service was gracious, attentive, and remarkably polite. Every interaction — from the front desk to the restaurant team to housekeeping — felt professional and genuinely hospitable. The location by the Nile is superb. If you can, ask for a room with a river view. Waking up to the Nile and watching the sunset over the water gave the stay a special, almost cinematic quality. After the intensity and commotion of Cairo, the hotel felt like a refined sanctuary where we could decompress and enjoy the city from a calmer vantage point. Breakfast was excellent and deserves special mention. The spread was generous, fresh, and well executed, with enough variety to satisfy everyone before a full day of sightseeing. It became one of those small daily luxuries we genuinely looked forward to. The rooms were comfortable, well appointed, and spacious enough to properly relax after long touring days. But what elevated the experience most was the staff. They were consistently courteous, responsive, and warm without being intrusive — exactly the kind of service that makes a hotel feel truly five-star. Overall, this was not just a place to sleep; it became part of the trip itself. Between the exceptional service, excellent breakfast, and superb Nile views, this hotel was a real highlight of our Egypt experience.

Too cold in the room had to call maintenance 3 times and issue still was not fixed.

It’s a dated depressing dark lobby. There isn’t much to like about it. I liked the breakfast though and breakfast staff was very nice.

Dingy dark lobby. Overpriced Nile view room where the noise of traffic wouldn’t let you sleep. Front desk staff were rude at check out. VIVO restaurant refused me entry and was forcing me to sit in a dark empty bar all alone while the whole restaurant was empty. Concierge arranges over priced tours without suggesting cheaper alternatives. Frankly go and stay anywhere except here. Concierge on day 1 sent me to walk around the neighbourhood without informing me that there are no restaurants nearby and it’s unsafe traffic to walk through. Don’t waste your time and money here.

Club staff solve problems and well trained. Great team work.

Very loud music until 115 am

Very disappointing experience and by far the worst Ritz-Carlton stay I have had in the region. From check-in to check-out, the overall experience fell well below expectations. The room was not comfortable, and the atmosphere at night felt outdated and uninviting. Loud music continued until around 1:30 AM, making it difficult to rest. What was even more surprising was that the housekeeping team started cleaning the floor around 8:30 AM, shouting to each other in the corridors and creating significant noise that disrupted guests trying to sleep. In addition, the water pressure in the bathroom was extremely weak, which further impacted the quality of the stay. For a luxury hotel brand, this level of service and guest experience is simply unacceptable. I would strongly recommend considering alternatives such as St. Regis or Four Seasons, both of which provide a far superior experience and much better value. Rating: ★☆☆☆☆ (1/5)

Great location and spacious room. We chose a room with a Nile view, and it was worth every penny. We loved how quiet the room was despite the busy main road outside; no noise could be heard from inside the room. I would also like to thank the Guest Relations team and the Reception staff. From the moment we arrived, they made us feel very welcome. The housekeeping staff on the 8th floor were also highly professional and attentive throughout our stay. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would gladly stay here again.

Fabulous hotel, fantastic Nile views. However, first night we went to dinner at restaurant Bab El-Sharq which was beside pool as big wedding on, belly dancer entertainment wonderful, outdoor situation great. However we repeatedly asked where our food was 1.5 hours later staff said yes yes, locals arrived, ate and left and only when we complained to manager did we get our food despite everyone was feed and had left by the time we ate, it seemed like locals were given prefetential treatment, similar delays at pool Bar the next day. The following day at the pool, we had a similar experience. We ordered drinks and food, 3.5 Hours later the food never arrived. Service was extremely slow, Again, other guests appeared to be served with no delays. When we asked to pay, we waited around 30 minutes before I eventually went to the pool bar myself. I then noticed the food that never arrived was included on the bill. When I asked for it to be removed, I was questioned as to whether we were sure we had not received it. I had to point out that there were no plates, cutlery, or any sign that food had ever been served. I was then told they could bring the food now, despite it being three hours later and around 5:30pm. At that point, we no longer wished to wait. When I raised that this was the second day in a row of very poor at the pool service, the response I received was that the staff member was sorry but had a headache. While I understand people can have difficult days, this was not an appropriate response to a guest complaint in a five-star hotel. On a positive note, our experience with check-in, concierge, valet, bedroom cleaners, front of house, and breakfast staff was the complete opposite. They were all of the standard we would expect from the Ritz-Carlton, so helpful friendly and professional. In particular, the breakfast team and the breakfast manager were excellent, very helpful, and professional. The guy who cleaned our room was a gentleman, all of whom deserved our tips so lovely. In short, the pool service needs urgent attention. It was slow, disorganised, dismissive, and not reflective of a five-star hotel. I do not blame individual staff members; it feels more like a lack of training, supervision, service standards, and monitoring. Unfortunately, the pool service badly lets down what is otherwise a very good hotel.

Taxibestellungen über die Concierge sind extrem teuer und kosten das zwei- bis dreifache des üblichen Preises; beispielsweise kostete die Fahrt vom Hotel zum neuen Egyptischen Museum EUR 49,00, währen die Rückfahrt nur EP 1.200,00 kostet und dies sogar in einem höherwertigem Auto.

This time I stayed on the twelfth floor with a perfect view of Nile. I had a wonderful stay!!! Of course this due to the people who work there. A. Room 1206. Thank you so much the superiors Mohamed Shoman and Mohamed A. Motey. Wonderful men!!! With kindness and smile, they took care of my luxurious stay. I appreciate the kindness of mr. Shoman to offer me an Egyptian souvenir. Of course, thanks a lot George Gamal, Mohamed el Nadry, Mohamed A. Hady, Ali Ismail and Hannie. Always with courtesy, a smile and kindness, took care of the room be perfect (10/10). B. Club Lounge. Once again, Mr. Rami, the head of the lounge, did his best for my wonderful stay. Always with courtesy, smile, kindness. I thank him from the bottom of my heart. With his team Marise, Sandra, Ahmed, the lounge is the best part of the hotel. I would also like to thank you Asmaa, Nancy, Omar because with so great willingly took care of my wonderful stay in the lounge. Overall, the hotel is in a great location, it is spotlessly clean and worth the money one pays. Thank you so much, see all of you again.

We looked forward to our visit at the Ritz Carlton having booked a deluxe nile view room with a balcony- we arrived late in the evening to check in and immediately the reception tried to upsell us to a suite room which we rejected. The reception then told us that our room was a smoking room which was not what we asked for and we showed the reception that even on the Ritz carlton website it never mentioned a smoking room. The reception told us all balcony rooms on the 3rd floor were smoking. There was no twin rooms with a balcony which we had prepaid for- we were so annoyed at the approach that we considered moving to another hotel even though late at night- we asked to speak with the duty manager who was equally disinterested and said he could offer us a free breakfast which we did not care about as we expected to pay for that! We asked to speak to the GM the following day and never saw him throughout the stay! Nor did he try to speak with us- That said we had a nile room with no balcony. It was average! The only highlight of the week trip were the breakfast team who were so friendly and professional including the ladies at the entrance who always had a welcoming smile! The pool area was another low point - the stone floors beside the pool were filthy and if you walked without shoes it was filthy- the pool ladies toilets were disgusting and smelt of stagnant water - it was truly horrible that we had to go back to our room to avoid the usage! Before attending this hotel - we had sought to use the spa and restaurants but because of how we were treated - we are out each night and went to a spa elsewhere at another hotel- All in all this hotel was a huge disappointment and I would never visit again! My reason for 2 stars is only because of the breakfast tream!

We stayed twice - for two nights each stay - and were really impressed with this hotel. The location on the Nile is wonderful, the food at the restaurants was great and the rooms spacious and well appointed. What was really impressive was the great service from staff - front desk (thanks Matthew), room staff, restaurant staff and concierge. Ask for a room overlooking the river - the sunset from the room is amazing!

Super pool

First time in my quite broad travel experience, were we given the room in lower category than what we payed for. The reception was convincing us, that they are giving us a discount actually. The situation was absurd. Quite surprising, taking under the consideration the exclusive renome of the Ritz Carlton chain.
