The hotel is well-situated and convenient. It is a lovely spot to stay in and is so much nicer than the large, generic, faceless hotel chains that dominate. All of the staff were attentive, professional and courteous. The restaurant was reasonably well priced (with a 15% discount). The food was of good quality.

I was on the ground floor and it was a little gloomy but clean, well-appointed and comfortable. The bathroom of my room (ground floor) was a little tired but otherwise clean and functional.

It looked like a classic English inn. The staff was friendly and helpful.

The shower didn’t work well. It was scalding water. I asked for help and it seemed that I would have to jiggle the knobs a bit to get it to a decent temperature.

Room was spotlessly clean, with all amenities in full working order. Great food and staff who all went the extra mile to provide exceptional customer service.

It was all pretty good. Reception Staff in general took a while to do anything. They weren’t really on it, seemed rather sullen and demotivated. Electric point out of service for car charging, which was one of the reasons I booked the hotel.

The hotel was lovely, great location great staff and free palking.Room on lower floor noisy with a lot a people walking past at night. Meals were overpriced at £150 for 3 people. Breakfast was 1 of the best I have ever had, piping hot.

Meal prices did not Justify what was served. Also fruit crumble was tarte with hard crumble and a tiny jug with 2 tablespoons of custard

B&B... free private (secure) parking, good bar and 15% discount on food and beverage! What's not to like?! I shall definitely be returning there on my next visit.

An excellent stay. Room was clean and well equipped, we especially liked the fact there was a fridge in the room and that bottled water was provided. Breakfast was excellent, but service a little slow.

Would have really liked the ability to pre book parking. Parking is limited, but we were lucky and got a space.

Breakfast quality was exceptional; dinner menu was impressive and food was delicious. Location was brilliant for our needs - close to shops, park, railway and plenty of parking spaces onsite.

The staff were very good and friendly. Good choice of coffee pods in the room. Breakfast was yummy and liked the choice times to have it.

The bathroom just needed attention to detail. Dirty around the bottom of the shower screen join and two holes in the shower screen meant water went all over the floor. No welcome information sheet in the room. We didn't realise until the morning that the bed didn't actually have a sheet on it, just the bed cover which had a few stains on it.

Der Platz im Zimmer war zu wenig, da wir das Schlafsofa ausgeklappt hatten. Das Schlafsofa für unseren Sohn war etwas unbequem aber ok. .Das Zimmer verfügte über Klimaanlage.

The location is perfect for exploring in and out of London.

The bathroom was small with the toilet squeezed in between the shower and sink making it a bit claustrophobic but this is specific to the room I think and really not a reason not to stay. The breakfast was not as good as on previous stays. The produce used was good but it was small and the selection for continental was reduced. Also the use exclusively of sourdough bread for everything was really annoying as sourdough only really works when you have something for it to soak up. As soldiers with a dippy egg it was would crumble to nothing or feel a bit like dipping a cracker.

This is a great spot in a great location. The staff were friendly and so helpful. Room was clean and a good size. Breakfast was as great and food at the pub for dinner was also fantastic.

Staff and food were amazing

Sorry to say that the mattress in the twin bedded room was very uncomfortable I asked for a mattress topper after a sleepless night but unfortunately it was still uncomfortable I didn’t want to be rude to ask for another it maybe needs upgrading

We had a lovely stay at this hotel, and its location made it excellent value for money. We were there for Wimbledon, the free parking was a real bonus, the breakfast was exceptional, and we enjoyed a very good Sunday lunch on arrival.

Ein wunderschöner Aufenthalt in einem sehr ehrwürdigen, liebevoll eingerichteten Gebäude mit ganz besonderer Atmosphäre. Das Personal war ausgesprochen nett, alles war sauber und ordentlich, und sowohl das Abendessen als auch das Frühstück waren sehr lecker. Uns hat es an nichts gefehlt, die Anbindung nach Waterloo mit dem Zug war unkompliziert und auch unser Hund war herzlich willkommen. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Despite the very hot weather, we enjoyed our stay here. The air conditioning in the room was effective and quiet. The rooms were clean with comfortable beds and there was adequate space for cases etc. The restaurant / bar provided good quality food. The hotel is sited just across the river from Kingston and is a short walk from Hampton Wick station and beside several busy bus routes and to be fair a busy roundabout, but we had no noise issues. Staff were very pleasant and welcoming.

Excellent room. Spotlessly clean and well serviced during my stay. It was also easy to keep cool in the heatwave with good air con. Location is excellent for Hampton Court Palace and transport everywhere else.

Service in restaurant sometimes so slow I thought they had forgotten me. Younger junior staff very friendly and doing their best. Not convinced that same can be said of their managers. Evening menu rather uninspired and repetitive.

Loved the breakfast, the outside eating area was great and the staff were very helpful. The location to Hampton Court was good.

The white hart is what it says it is. Car Parking, Easy Checkin, Friendly, Welcoming, Clean, comfortable and all the facilities you need. Our room and facilities was of a high standard. The White Hart is on our return to list when visiting this area,

Location and ambience

The host - she was not pleasant with me, but was with others. Felt racism brewing from the way she behaved.

Very pleasant hotel which was very welcoming to our two large dogs. Excellent location virtually on the Thames. (Close to my sister-in_law.) Had an enjoyable meal with relatives on the terrace.

It was a bit pricey, but I suppose that's to be expected. The hotel is located inside London's ULEZ, so I had to go through the hassle of registering my (foreign & non-compliant) vehicle.

This is our second visit and it's perfect for a London stay. Car parking included, 5 min walk to train, 30 min walk to Hampton Court, great shops locally. Beautiful rooms, great bathroom, great choice for breakfast.

The bedrooms are a little dated but this certainly did not affect our stay.

Room was nice, AC was wonderful. It was ok but a lot of little things added up. Welcome was lacking. Even though I introduced us, gave my name as the booking was in my name and handed my credit card while my male partner stood around the corner (small lobby) the lady checking us in barely acknowledged me and asked all questions to my partner and went out of her way to hand my CC to my partner around the corner. Booked dinner reservations at desk, they offered 5:30 we asked for 6. When we arrived they were staging a photo shoot for marketing that was still ongoing and couldn’t give us a table. Why did they take reservations if they were busy? Offered a bar table which was fine but had to go to bar for refills and order additional food, booked reservation as we wanted full restaurant service. At checkout given bill for dinner, asked if it could be applied to CC on file, they said no, but after putting down all of our bags and getting a card out and using it to pay, they said they were then able to use CC on file. Then asked for an emailed total bill but was told they couldn’t do that as I “booked on Expedia” which I didn’t and said so. Then as we were walking out the door they said fine, we can print one. Felt like they had concluded we booked with Expedia and were offering the bare minimum effort. No tea supplies refilled in room on our second day But restaurant staff went out of their way to give us tea supplies when we mentioned it—that was great.

Just had 2 nights there . We really liked the hotel . A good location close to the river and shops . Hotel is in an excellent condition. Staff were friendly and breakfast was very good . Hotel also offers a 15% discount on food and drink which is a nice touch 👌. We will definitely return

The rooms are nothing like the images online, the basic rooms are pretty basic and bathrooms need a makeover - pretty expensive for what it is. Location is good.

GOOD LOCATION

Great place to stay - the location is good, our room was spacious and comfortable. The terrace is a pleasant place to sit out for a drink. The only complaint we had was an extraordinary bit of pettiness at breakfast: we ordered toast at the same time as our main breakfast (two full breakfasts, one poached egg and smoked salmon). Our meal arrived about 10 minutes later, without toast. I asked again and received a very curt response from the young man who was serving us, who told us that the toasting machine was slow. 5 minutes later four half slices of cold toast were delivered to our table. I asked if we could have more, and was told that breakfast only includes one full slice of toast per person (and none for my wife since she already had bread with her egg), and that we would be charged for any more. I asked the manager about this when checking out, and she confirmed that this is the hotel policy. I have never experienced such extraordinary and pointless penny pinching in over 40 years of frequent hotel stays for work and leisure.

Room lovely. Bad and restaurant food very good. The wheels came off at breakfast as it was chaotic with staff from housekeeping having to fill in for staff who didn’t turn up for their shift. But the food was good. Some guests were very vocal in their complaints. But the manager did her very best on the day.

Service didn't match the intended image. Some very willing but the young guys have no idea about service and don't enjoy providing it. Exceptions were the young, English girl at some breakfasts and the guy with beard. Terrible, weak coffee at breakfast. Had to send back. No point serving preserves in pretentious, individual jars when the coffee is lousy and toast is an afterthought - also seemingly only on request. No drink offered at lunch, not even water. Plus, 20 minutes for a burger? Not surprisingly, the patty was overcooked!

De locatie was prima. We waren er ivm een concert in Hampton Court Palace. Dat ligt op loopafstand en is ook per bus goed bereikbaar. Ruim terras. We hadden een kamer aan de rustige achterkant van het hotel. Prima kamer voor een hotel in de stad. Fijn dat er een eigen parkeerplaats achter het hotel was. Het ontbijt was lekker, net als het avondeten. Erg lekker dessert.

Bij het avondeten wilde ik salade in plaats van erwten, maar dat mocht niet van de keuken. Ik moest los een side salade bestellen, was wel lekkere salade. Dat is voor het eerst dat ik dat in een pub/restaurant heb meegemaakt. Beetje jammer.
