A wonderful pub hotel in an old listed building. Great staff, delicious food, bathroom freshly renovated, comfy bed! We enjoyed the stay.

Good breakfasts with some innovative items. Cooked to order. Spacious comfortable room with very big bed, excellent walk-in shower, tea and coffee facilities, big flat screen tv. Parking on site limited but if you can get it very convenient. Available, paid for, local street parking. Good bus service to both Kingston and Richmond. Staff excellent. Available and dealt with my booking error brilliantly.

Minor problem was steep stairs to bedroom.

The location was excellent. Just a short walk to the train station, the town and the river. The staff were really friendly. The room was very spacious and clean. The Sunday lunch was very tasty.

The room was very hot with no A/C and the windows couldn't be opened. There was a fan in the room but with temperatures around 30 degrees it was just blowing hot air around.

Although we did have parking there was only room for three cars so we were lucky to get a place

The first impression I had of the property was a warm, welcoming, vibrant place with very courteous, friendly staff. But it got even better the more I discovered.

The rooms were a generous size with great facilities including air conditioning, so needed in this exceptional weather. We had everything we needed on site, food, drink and exceptionally comfortable beds. I cannot praise the quality of the breakfasts enough. The toiletries were divine and there was even fresh milk in the room for tea making. Added to all of that the centre of Kingston was an easy walk away including the railway station.

Super friendly staff, a very warm welcome and very helpful. The rooms were lovely and cool, and really beautifully decorated.

The room was very well equipped and air conditioned. Bramley bathroom products, Illy coffee pods and good selection of clipper tea, were provided along with Complimentary, refrigerated milk and water. The bed and pillows were very comfortable and the shower very roomy. We stayed in No.9 in a separate annexe at the rear of the pub overlooking the garden and small guest carpark, which was lovely and secluded . With the added benefit of a comfortable sofa. Breakfast was delicious. Served in the main pub, which was tastefully decorated, and well organised. Fresh coffee, fruit, juices, pastries and cereals along with a good selection of, hot, food options were available. The reception team were very welcoming, personable, polite and enthusiastic

Great base for us visiting for a wedding. Lovely shower, clean bathroom, comfy bed. Ideal late check out times. Really handy your room came with a fan as we visited on such a hot weekend!

Breakfast buffet bar could have been re stocked and fuller for later comers - this is being really nit picky though (the staff got us everything we needed)

Great location and a lovely building that is well finished in a somewhat quirky style. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Food good with 20% off prices for residents.

Sadly the aircon unit was not in the room and it was one of the hottest nights of the summer.

Breakfast very good and a good choice from menu. Staff were super and most helpful, and as an older chap, was looked after by the Bar staff especially! Would book again if ever down that way. Again, enjoyed my stay and hope tovisot again.Bar closed

We were upgraded to a beautiful room. It was comfortable and spacious. Unfortunately, the 2 ladies in the room next door talked non stop until late at night and recommenced very early in the morning. There does not seem to be any sound proofing between the rooms as we could literally hear their conversation.

We had dinner in the pub downstairs. While the meal was ok, it was overpriced. Bar staff ignored us as they conversed with local drinkers.

The breakfasts were excellent.

Lovely large comfortable room. Separate section with bunk beds. Separate lounge area with couch and tv. Room came with mini fridge and tea/coffee station with a Nespresso. With 30 degree temperatures, the air conditioning was greatly appreciated. We had tea at the pub which was excellent quality. As was their breakfast. Would definitely book again.

There is limited parking for 3 cars but there is paid street parking.

Room was fine, clean & quiet They had made great use of the space downstairs and outside area, everywhere was really clean The best part of our stay were the staff, they were all absolutely lovely, happy, helpful and very upbeat - which is quite rare to find

The double bed was 2 pushed together and you could feel the join, room really stuffy as couldn’t open windows at all and back of bathroom door was in need of repair. someone had a dog in one of the rooms that was so yappy every time you walked past, luckily their room wasn’t next to us - but I didn’t realise they allowed dogs.

The rooms were spacious, pub food and service excellent!

As we went into our room there was a smell. It was definitely coming from the bathroom so we shut the door. The improved the following day.

We loved the staff! They were incredibly welcoming and friendly - super fast service, and really helped us have the best stay. Nothing was too much, and they were very kind to our 7 year old son. Our room was super comfortable - plenty of room, clean and really nice toiletries. The breakfast was perfect - beautifully cooked food and plenty of options. You can tell they've put a lot of thought and effort into running every aspect of this place.

That we couldn't stay longer! There was nothing we didn't like or enjoy. The pub is beautifully decorated, and the outside seating area is fabulous when the sun is shining.

Excellent stay in a welcoming property. Professional staff, and kudos to the breakfast waitress for her courtesy. The pub is very well-maintained. Well-equipped room in a separate building, away from the road and therefore ideal for rest. Excellent a la carte breakfast buffet.

Everything Perfect, I want to live here ,the staff are kind and caring and very polite, nothing is to much trouble. The room is immaculate and well laid out ,they even have a iron and a ironing board, shower is big with top of the range shower gels etc... A big tv,a great coffee machine and a top class variety of teas,,also a bottle opener ,Everything is so well thought about really well done ,a really beautiful room but hats off to the wonderful staff ,thank you. I will return

Parking was limited, although we did manage to get a space. But can imagine if their fully booked, it would be a problem

This is one of the nicest places I have stayed in. The staff were friendly and couldn't have been more helpful. The pub was very nice, clean tidy and nicely decorated. Our room was huge and the bed extremely comfortable. We had dinner there and the fish and chips were lovely. I can't recommend this hotel enough, we will definitely stay again if we are down that way again.

We ate ate the restaurant which was nice food with lots of options but the portions were small for what it was priced. That was a shame There was also a loud fan noise in the bedroom which I notified the staff about to get it sorted.

This is a lovely pub/hotel and throroughly recommended. We received a warm welcome (always important) and were shown to our rooms/helped to settle in. The rooms themselves were on the other side of the beer garden, so separate from the main building - they were spacious and secure. The bed was very comfortable and there was a great shower room/bathroom. Loads of space and nice touches, like fresh milk in the fridge and a couple of bottles of water. Breakfast was superb - full English, packed eggs on sourdough, pastries, fruit juice etc. Fab location (short walk to the centre of Kingston, train station, shopping etc.) and parking available. We will be back!

There seemed to be some confusion over whether we could park in their car park. Initially I was told no as all the spaces had been reserved, but when we got there, there were spaces and we could park.

Everyone made an effort to ensure a comfortable and functional stay. Online payment convenient. Great dinner.

Very friendly, clean and comfortable. We were staying up for Rosslyn 7s tournament and the location was great. Quite a few local pubs and shopping centre are a 5 min walk away.

The room is too small for the price and without a desk it is not suitable for business travel (although it probably was not designed for that). The hanging rack is just that, a rack.

Convenient for our visit to Hampton Court, plus close to the Thames for those early morning walks. Close to shops and restaurants. Staff very helpful.

Lovely style and decor to the pub and room. Plenty of space for sharing with our daughter. Manager was exceptional and the person managing breakfast service, also fantastic. Great breakfast and produce!

Parking was tight, although we had a space reserved. But this is not necessarily not liked just for people to be aware of if staying.

Our room was pretty tiny and the windows didn't close properly. Light construction going on in the morning from ~8:30am due to pub renovations. In general, no big deal, but either you tell your guests beforehand or you offer some kind of discount. Beware: The dinner in the restaurant is NOT good at all. The meat was chewy, the portions tiny and the prices high. Included breakfast is way better!

The bedroom was spacious and very clean, there was plentiful tea and coffee and a mini fridge. The bathroom was very clean, the hot water and water pressure excellent and good toiletries. We had a meal in the pub and the food was lovely.
