Reviewed Sep 18, 2026Die Lage ist sehr gut. In der Nähe gibt es ein Einkaufszentrum, in dem man essen kann. Auch der Fernsehturm liegt ganz in der Nähe.
Das Personal war leider nicht besonders aufmerksam. Gleich am ersten Tag wurde uns angeboten, in ein anderes Zimmer mit Flussblick umzuziehen. Dafür hätten wir allerdings mehr als 120 Euro Aufpreis zahlen müssen. Außerdem hatte ich ein Zimmer mit einem zusätzlichen Bett reserviert. Bei unserer Ankunft war dieses Bett jedoch noch nicht vorbereitet. Insgesamt hätte ich mir hier einen besseren Service gewünscht.

Reviewed Aug 27, 2026The location is great direct on the river with great views of the Bund. We stopped in the old part of the hotel, but the room was renovated, so it was pretty nice.
The rooms are quite small. I think it’s just because the hotel the old part is about 30 years old and the room is a small smaller than I know in the tower. The rooms are bigger.

Reviewed Jul 20, 2026Our team stayed at the Pudong Shangri-La from Februry through July 2026 while conducting a clinical tril at nearby Shanghai General Hospital. The hotel provided an excellent base for our extended business stay. The rooms were spacious and well-maintained, the service was consistently professional, and th location in Pudong was convenient for our daily commute to the hospital. The breakfast buffet offered great variety and the business center facilities were adequate for our needs. The only minor drawback was occasional noise frm the nearby construction, but overall it was a very comfortable long-term stay for our team. Would recommend for extended business trips in Shanghai.

Reviewed Jul 16, 2026I had a wonderful stay at Pusong Shangri-La and would happily return. The hotel combines elegant rooms, exceptional service, and one of the best views in Shanghai. From my room, I had a spectacular view of the iconic Oriental Pearl Tower, which was especially beautiful after sunset when the city lights came alive. One of the highlights of my stay was the food. The breakfast buffet is extensive, offering an impressive variety of both Asian and Western dishes. I especially enjoyed having breakfast at the Horizon Club Lounge, which offers a much quieter and more private atmosphere along with stunning panoramic views of Shanghai. Guests can also order freshly prepared dishes from the à la carte menu, including pancakes, Eggs Benedict, omelets, and other breakfast favorites. Everything was beautifully presented and delicious. If you have access to the Horizon Club Lounge, I highly recommend taking advantage of the evening service. Every evening, the lounge offers a selection of hot dishes, appetizers, desserts, cocktails, wine, champagne, and other beverages. It's the perfect place to relax while enjoying the incredible skyline of Shanghai. Another memorable experience was dinner at Jade on 36, the hotel's French restaurant. The elegant atmosphere, attentive service, and refined cuisine made for a fantastic evening. Paired with a glass of Moët & Chandon champagne, the meal was exceptional. My favorite dishes were the scallops, lobster soup, tenderloin steak, and the mille-feuille for dessert. From the outstanding hospitality to the exceptional dining and breathtaking views, Pudong Shangri-La exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a luxurious stay in Shanghai.

Reviewed Jul 14, 2026We booked the connecting family rooms overlooking the Bund which was clean and comfortable with great views of the Huang Pu river, and they even provided extra bed for free. The house keeping team works efficiently and even setup the kids bedroom with the tiger theme. The buffet breakfast range is extensive to cater for all tastes, and even includes barista made coffee to order.
Upon check out, we were told unable to use the points on our first day’s buffet dinner and that cannot be claimed in retrospect. The manager has yet to assess and provide a response.

From Ken the duty manager and Jenny and Lavenna to wendy and kenny from malaysia in the horizon lounge along with Tina and coco sun and one more lady whose name i Forget. They were par excellent . This is one group of hotels which i highly recommend to all my friends and associates and many have become good circle members as well thereafter . Ken and team were so thoughtful to even arrange a birthday cake for us as we were celebrating my friends birthday . A BIG THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING, C U SOON :)
